Fantastic hotel has everything you need with a very traditional Thai vibe. Feels like you are staying in a temple then you go into the room you find air conditioning comfy bed and decent bathrooms. Would definitely come here every time I come to bangkok especially that’s it’s only 10 mns away from airport.

10-15 ride from Suvarnabhumi airport. Simple but delicious restaurant bar onsite. Older Thai elegant bungalows, very peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Nice pool with lounge chairs and hammocks. Staff can’t do enough to help with whatever your needs maybe. My go to place for the last 6 years whenever I’m transiting through Bangkok. While a suburb of BKK you can take a 20-40 minute taxi (depending on time of day) to the downtown area for about $12 US or a $3 US taxi ride back to the airport where you can get public transportation to BKK downtown for less than $5 US. But it’s a bit challenging as you’ll be changing from train to at least one bus

My husband and I booked this hotel for an overnight stay to catch our very early morning flight. Overall, the hotel was clean and the room served its purpose. It was, however, very tiny, and the bathroom was basically a toilet, sink and one of those shower head hoses? No separation for the shower, and it personally grosses me out when the floor by the toilet is wet.
Other than that, the hotel was decent for an overnight stay- but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays, unless your vibe is extremely minimalist.

I did like the hotel very much. It is about 15min away from the airport by taxi. The hotel is quite and has lovely green plants around the whole resort. There is some aircraft noise but thats the only occassional noise. On the road outside of the hotel are two Thai Restaurants and we have tried the hotel Restaurant .The food was tasty. The Bungalows are spacious and have a nice decor and fridge. The aircon worked but was a bit noisy. The pool was clean and it has sunloungers.The staff members are lovely and helpful. As it is at river it has nights moscitos but this is normal.

This property is ok if you want to stay near the airport. Nothing much to do. I like the relaxing view at the restaurant. Pool is quite nice. Room needs to be updated. There are a lot of mosquitos inside the room. But for the price you can’t expect so much.

This hotel was so lovely gardens around the bungalow was a great touch , we stayed in room 18 right next to pool , staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke english , the food and drink in the restaurant was nice and good priced and breakfast was an omelette which was good too just a short walk was shops and bars too had fab 3 day break here would definitely recommend and go back myself

Miles away from anything couldnt even walk to the shop without loose dogs trying to attack me!
Mosquitos everywhere, they were squashed all over the walls in the room and not been cleaned off! Geckos running all over my room.
Hasn’t been updated in about 30 years and the bathroom facilities were questionable!
I suppose it’s what you pay for but I just chose to check out early after one night and just go somewhere comfortable.

The staff at Ploykhumthong were super friendly and helpful during my stay. After living in Thailand for 3 years I had to move my 2 dogs and 5 pieces of luggage back to the US. I was pretty stressed about the idea of doing all of this, but the staff helped me with rides to the airport quarantine station to get the dogs paperwork AND they helped me pack all my luggage and bring it to the check-in counter.

I stayed in a superior room and it was all I needed. Nothing too fancy but the price is very reasonable. Wasn't a big fan of the breakfast, but there's plenty of food to order on Food Panda/Grab so I usually ordered that.

This is the 2nd time staying here with my pets and it's the perfect spot for being near the aiport.

I’ve stayed here every time I’m in Bangkok. Minutes from the international airport but still quiet with virtually no other businesses within ear shot. Wonderful staff, clean bungalows, lovely pool. Restaurant has great food at very reasonable prices. If you’re looking for peace and quiet 30 minutes from downtown BKK this is the place !

I have stayed here upon arriving and departing Bangkok since 2015, except 2021. The staff is extremely helpful going above and beyond all expectations. The property is a 15 minute drive (provided by a hotel mini van shuttle from Suvarnabhumi airport. There are approximately 20 adorable spacious old style bungalows, adjoining pool and restaurant. It’s on the end of a long street so there’s no noise from the hustle and bustle of daily live. It’s boarded by a very small river that affords an abundance of wildlife, large egrets and other exotic birds and includes fishermen casting nets. If you’re looking for peace and quiet within 15 minutes of an international airport this is the place !

The room I was goven was terribly dirty and full of mouse droppings. They had a week to clean it before I arrived but didn't. As I was leaving the owner came out asking why I am leaving and than gave me another suite which was cleaner but the bed linen was stained, it was also dusty and tv wasn't working. I needed the transport to the airport which is maybe 10min away and was charged by the owner THB 150. Do not go there!

I booked the deluxe cabana style stand alone room,
I chose this hotel because they are one of the few pet friendly hotels near the airport. Room was clean and comfortable and included a large western bathroom, flat screen tv with a good selection of channels, small fridge, steam pot for coffee or tea and a Very Comfortable King Bed. Plenty of space in the room, did not feel cramped at all. The hotel restaurant has 8am-6pm hours and happily made alterations to menu items for my restricted diet and the prices for meals was more than fair. Pool was clean and just the right temp With Plenty of outdoor seating around it. Airport shuttle service is great and fairly priced and they were happy to help with my luggage. The staff and management treated me and my dog like family and I will definately stay here again when in Bangkok !!!

Our driver probably should never have been driving....much like a dog peeing in the snow he would start and stop, start and stop. Close to whiplash before reaching the airport. The breakfast was sandwiches that we gave to some workers in the airport. They were thrilled. It was a well-worn hotel, a bed for a few hours, a shower to rinse off the travel. Glad we did not stay for longer than that. The people were nice. The hotel not as much. It could have been so much worse and so much better.

Good value for money, pleasant surroundings and very friendly and helpful staff. Next to a Klingon (canal) so mosquitoes are a problem but staff always offer (free) repellent. A bit off the main street but great if you just want a meal, bed and breakfast.

This is like a hidden gem. The resort setup has an authentic Thai feel; we liked the wooden furniture accents and various decorations around the property. The airport shuttle was fantastic. The rooms are spotless. The Thai breakfast options are delicious; looking back, it tasted better than lots of other foods we had the rest of our 17 day trip. I would highly recommend this resort.

I reserved the room about 700 bath that I take a note I stay with my dog. When I arrived, I had to pay more 500 baht for upgrade room for dog and 700 baht for my dog. Finally I paid 1,900 baht for old hotel. They said there're the policy on your website. :(

Perfect for a quick stop near the airport! Airport transport was easy once we got ahold of the hotel to find out where to meet them and the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were very nice, they even upgraded our room so that my sister and I didn’t have to share a bed.
