Deposit for room key. And they want you to leave the key when you leave the hotel to go anywhere. Deposit for hair dryer that barely works. Do not clean the room good at all. Showers often go out during the day you cannot take a shower no water. There is no amenities at all you have to pay for everything

There is absolutely no free wifi at this hotel. Additionally there is no gym here either, aside from a stair master machine and a couple of free weights. Very disappointed as both of these things are listed as \"included\" on the hotel's Expedia page.

Good service from bellboy, he brough our luggages to our room. Nice lobby, but building 2 is a bit old and poor wifi connection, no wifi in the room. Saw the photos of snooker before, that's why I booked this hotel. But finally everything needs extra charges. No dental kits provided. Bedsheat a bit dirty. Close to the airport, and they have shuttle bus service. But the fee is a bit expensive, getting a taxi is cheaper.

Paid for return transfers but tried calling many many times but the line was engage and no body picking up. Emailed twice about the airport transfers but there was no response. Rude response from the male staff, no apology when asking about the paid shuttle to pick us up from airport and the no response email / non- pickup call. Not coming here ever again.

We had to wait for close to 2 hours for the free shuttle. We arrived at 11:20 PM and the van to take us to the hotel did not arrive until 1:10 AM. Also when we arrived at the hotel the booking for 1 room and 2 beds was changed to have 1 room and 1 bed since all the rooms with 2 beds were filled even though I had a reservation for a room with 2 beds. The breakfast was cold and tasteless.

Great location for airport

I was sceptical when reading reviews about this hotel. We didn’t have much time to look and most places near the airport were fully booked as it was the Chinese NY, so we had to go for this hotel. We only needed somewhere to stay for transit, between 6am-3pm. It was a nightmare to find anything for that period. All the hotels we rang didn’t do short stay, including Sunny Residence. So we had to book 2 nights stay! The price was quite cheap, so we didn’t mind.

The room they gave us was very decent, clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Service was good, checking in was easy. Staffs were polite and helpful. The free buffet breakfast that came with the room was ok, can’t really complain when the room was that cheap.

The location was great for Suvarnabhumi Airport. Can’t comment on the local area as we didn’t go out to explore.

All in all, we would stay here again.

Nice hotel. Staff was rude, unhelpful, room was not cleaned, no new towels. Ask for towels. waited 1 hour, called back down, they said soon, waited another hour, went downstairs to ask for a towel, they say will bring up. Finally, after 2.5 hours, called again, male stated they were out of towels and he had to personally go buy some more. Not believable.

The hotel was very conveniently located near the airport, perfect for an overnight stay before flying out the next day.

The room was basic but comfortable, with a large bed and basic amenities provided.

Strange experience when I tried to raise that the extra 100 baht I had paid for a transfer had not resulted in that service, because no staff had replied to my email (the website says 24 hours for replies, but i got nothing in 36... so i turned up at the airport and had to pay for a taxi). First of all, attempts to deny it, then \"wait until morning\", then \"ok we can give you breakfast instead but last night's staff will have to pay for it!\". It is the latter which i really object to. What kind of management would want to give this message to a simple, polite customer. Truly, it was a simple error by someone, not to reply.. there is no need to threaten reception staff about it (when the manager concerned had not done any investigation, was not present, did not speak English etc).... 100 baht was not a big deal; simply smile and say sorry, and sure, offer a free breakfast, but don't punish the lowest level of hierarchy, it leaves a bad taste when such things are mentioned

They need to check how to speak to people.

The hotel area was okay. Near to the airport. When booking a hotel but getting there they will tell you an other story. Which I think it's for the best that people know before coming to the hotel. Not when they are there and asking them stupid Question such as you must check in 2 pm or wait 12 pm before getting a room. Booking a hotel today they will expecting you to check in the following day. How they clean room is bit funny.

After reading all of the negative reviews, I figured I was in for a miserable experience. That turned out to not be the case at al. I would like to address three areas in particular that were commonplace: Rude hotel staff, poor facilities, and airport shuttle pickup.

First, about the rude staff: I can see why people might have this impression, but my take is that they were simply over-worked. I made an effort to be really nice to them first, and they responded in kind. I suspect that an overworked staff dealing with exhausted and stressed travelers day in and day out is a recipe for a lot of problems in general.

Second, poor facilities: There were things like a loose door handle, installation instruction stickers on the bathroom sink, and other indicators that the place was put together rapidly. It also had pretty thin walls. Still, none of these things made the room feel unsafe or dirty. In fact the room was quite clean.

Now the airport shuttle system needs serious work, but that appears to be the airport's fault mostly. Yes, it is a pain to find the right shuttle location and deal with the pickup (as well as the proper \"Left Baggage\" counter for storing you luggage), but that's not at all the hotel's fault.

Probably thanks to all of the critical reviews, I came in with super low expectations and was really surprised by how pleasant the hotel turned out to be. DO make sure and buy any needed snacks/supplies at the airport before getting on the shuttle.

Horrible, not as advertised

No welcome drink even when you pay for it in advanced. There is no dry cleaning or room service ever, that is a lie. There so called cafe and resteraunt is the same thing. It is more like a cafeteria setting, were you literally have to get your own drink. The bar lounge is an overpriced bar will a patio and deck.... outside hot and swarming with mosquitos. They staff was rude at the front desk, almost irritated when asked questions and unconvinced when you wanted your free breakfast vouchers. Don't think you can check in early, or out late either. They are quick to charge you for everything here. The food was bland and the breakfast was horrible. The room lacked many things, no hand soap, hand towels, drinking glasses, ice bucket, hangers. The room phone worked only sometimes, and don't expect to be able to get more towels or pillows, you will be refused. No extra key, so your room power turns off when you leave, so when you return it's sweltering hot from no air conditioning. All around experience was horrible.... never again

My god! Check in was ok although he showed no enthusiasm in communication ! It’s was painful! It got worse as the breakfast receptionist was dreadful, said nothing and barely acknowledged anyone! So I’ll not go there again! Bell boy ok but by the time he took me to my room then advised me I could of got an airport pick up instead of walking there!! Well I was not happy! Rooms very good but without the service not worth a lot, only stay if you have too!!!

Great place to stay if you need a room for a day.

Rooms are clean with nice bathrooms, a few ants and mosquitos. Very close to the airport. Halls echo bad at night bring earplugs, and hotel staff won’t call you a taxi for some reason, but they have a shuttle service to airport.

Good stop over hotel for the airport

Stayed for one night on my way to Koh Tao. Not far from the airport at all and transfers were included in the room rate.

The rooms were a good size and very clean. The shower was only lukewarm but warm enough to shower. There was airconditioning too.

We ate in the hotel. There was a good selection of food and it was tasty for the price.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others

I had booked this hotel in advance for 2 nights and in the customer request page I had asked for a room near a strong wi-fi signal and also as I was arriving late at night to Bangkok I had asked for a shuttle pick up from the airport as it would be very long day for me and I would need to get to hotel and rest....to confirm all these before I arrived to Thailand I asked one of my Thai friends to call and confirm the airport pick up location and gave my flight details as I didn't wanted to wait around...After I arrived to to airport went to pick up location and waited almost an hour waiting to see the hotel shuttle but no was there to pick me up so I got myself a Thai sim card and called the hotel and asked what happened with my pick up they said I had to go to shuttle pick up registration location and ask someone there to request a shuttle and when I went there hotel's name was not written in full but only SUNNY and 2 other names as the hotel has 3 different named hotels at the same place and all 3 names were written under each other looking at the board it didn't make any sense or description of SUNNY RESIDENCE anyway after 1 hour and 45min. later I was in the hotel and again there I asked room with a good wi-fi signal but I was given a room on the top floor (5th) and the corner room longest possible distance from the wi-fi rooter...I THINK IT WAS DISGUSTING AND A VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...So they lost a customer and I would never book in that hotel again...

Check in process was not good. I booked one night a room with a queen bed and a twin bed for 3 people, however, because I accidentally did not indicate there would be 3 guests they charged us additional. I tried to explain, but they would not budge. The additional fee would have rented friend a room for himself, but I didn't notice that until after the fact.

After check in I came downstairs to ask for massage service. There were 4 staff at the reception, but no one acknowledge me for some time. Two were busy checking in guests. Two were just looking at what the other two were doing. Finally, after 10-15 mins, one of the ladies asked what I needed. I asked for their massage service and they told me they had to call to check. My guess is they hire outside service. They then told me no one was available. Why post it if you do not have anyone in house?

Hotel in residential area. Hotel, restaurant, and decor were OK. Room was decent size, clean, but you cannot leave the bathroom door open or you'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes. They have a sign by the door too. Free shuttle to airport was the only plus.

Beware of fines in this hotel

Beware of this hotel. They have placed ashtrays in some of their rooms and without a \"no smoking\" sign. I smoked in the balcony and threw my cig butts in the ashtray provided by the hotel. On the check out day I was asked to pay a fine of 2000baht before I could leave. I felt extorted by this hotel. Ive told them that there wasnt any no smoking signs and ashtray is provided in the room. Minutes later someone came down to the reception and showed me a no smoking sign, and insisted that the sign was from the room, and ridiculously they insisted that the ashtray was brought by myself. After about an hour of arguments and verification by one kind staff, she was kind enough to help me out and she went up to other rooms and found out that ashtrays were too found in other rooms without no smoking signs. She argued to the management for me instead and finally I do not have to pay the fine.

Guys, do watch out and be warned.

To isolated, they won’t get you a Taxi

I have been to this hotel several times mainly just for a few hours before flights once I stayed overnight .for the money it is very good ,however now there are some changes it is not one hotel there is Sunny Hotel ,Airy hotel and now a third hotel,I forget the name, ?they are all the same all fairly new,the reason I was not happy this time is ,I was with my fiancé ,previously she has come with me and stays just for one or two hours before she has to catch her flight from a different airport, the hotel used to ring for a taxi to take her where she wanted to go now they have stopped the service they say they cannot ring for Taxi‘s because they’ve had problems ,so they had to take her back to the airport where she could optain a Taxi they charged me 150 baht for this even though we had returned transfers ,these hotels are quite isolated there is nothing much around ,so I don’t think even for a few hours I will come here again ,there are so many other hotels in the area

Second stay at Sunny, a very pleasant hotel with nice staff, the area surrounding it is not very developed but no was no issue for me, local thai food is good. The hotel and room is modern and clean and minimal. I would recommend the hotel for anyone going to and from BKK airport.

This is a no-frills hotel in a quiet part of BKK airport area. There are a few local places for eating/drinking and the main road of Lat Krabang is a 10 minute walk with many more choices for shopping, eating, music, and massage. The hotel itself serves food and is next to two other hotels that also provide a restaurant and small pool. The rooms are basic with a good selection of cable tv channels...including movies.

I was in central Bkk for 2 weeks and wanted to get closer to Suvarnabhum for an easy departure at 3am. So this was perfect. A brand new building, rooms, facilities.
Clean and and when you need a rest without all the bells and whistles, this is perfect.
So cheap for the night. Loved it

Great place to stay - close to BKK airport

Our flight got in around midnight so we did not get to the hotel until after that. Our taxi was greeted by a bell hop who took all our luggage and the front desk guy was great. He asked for our departure form and reminded us that we would need it at the airport the next day. Since we had been traveling for ten days that created a bit of a panic in a couple of us but also gave us the opportunity to find it before getting to the airport the next morning. The only frustration I had was that when I tried to call the hotel several times to confirm our late arrival no one answered the phone.

The bed was comfy but the room was full of mosquitos. We booked with breakfast according to hotels.com, but the staff at the hotel said no, we had booked room only. When I complained, they said we had to contact hotels.com. There is nothing nearby, you have to walk pretty far for any restaurant or cafe etc.

It was a surprisingly great experience after travelling and staying multiple hotels. The hotel is only 1 year old and all the facilities look band new and function perfectly. The staff at the reception were friendly and speak good English. They are accommodating with additional requests. The airport drop-off service (hourly) was excellent. Driver could speak English as well. The whole place was tidy and professionally managed. For the price paid, I won't ask for more. Some 3 star hotels was not as good.

THE STAY WAS VERY PLEASANT! Pricing was great! The rate is never better! I checked in at very late meaning 2 am in the morning and thought that my camera was stolen by the hotel staff. However, when I notified the hotel personnel, they searched the room and replayed their surveillance camera and did not see any stole my camera. I later on found out that I left the camera bag in the taxi cab on the way from the airport to the hotel. The staffs were very helpful, polite and proviiding great customer service. The room and everything was excellent if you are not expecting from a 4 star hotel! . there was only one thing needs to be mentioned here, the location. the hotel was located in a quite sketchy area, other than that it was excellent!!

First Time in Bangkok

Terrible front dest staff when i checked in. My room is paid already and trying to charged my room again when i checked in. Reception desk keep calling my room on my second night and asking when will i checked out. Im not sure if theres a communication problem with orbitz or the hotel staff does not understand that I purchased package air and hotel thru orbitz. Restaurant sucks. Okay for a Short Stay

Obviously a good value but not the best. Breakfast wasn't good so if we stayed again we'd skip that. The room was clean and simple. Good for a short stay.

We only stay in here for a night due to flight change. The hotel is close to a nearby train station into town and also close to airport. Is cheap and comfy and good for a transfer stay or a stay to catch an early flight in the morning

ホテルの名前が複数あるためタクシーで向かう場合は運転手に場所を知ってるか確認してから乗車したほうが良い。
客室のドアは閉まる音が大きく、廊下も声が響くため、深夜の防音に問題がある。
歩いて1分でコンビニ(セブン)があるので便利だった。
空港までの送迎を頼んだところ200バーツだった。

さ再利用

以前に一度利用してトランジットとしてしては快適だったので、再利用しました。直前の予約で深夜チェックインにもかかわらずスムーズにチェックインでき快適でした。ただ、今回はwifi が部屋で使えませんでした。

Indcheck var ingen succes, idet vi først fik det bestilte værelse i tredje forsøg..først `upgrade` til mindre værelse uden balkon, så værelse med balkon uden byudsigt, og først i tredje forsøg fik vi det bestilte værelse.

Er was in de kamer 507 gespoten met een naar kamfer ruikend bestrijdingsmiddel tegen “rats”. Men spoot , na onze klacht wel met rozengeur, maar dat verdween na de half uur. De volgende morgen kwam een specialist die onder de sondering keek en weer spoot. De nacht daarop NIET geslapen. Advies aan balie gegeven, kamer eerst in orde brengen dan weer verhuren. Wij hadden gerekend op een andere kamer, en die waren er.

施設は新しくキレイ

深夜便で到着してそのままタクシーでホテルに向かいました。空港からは15分ほどでチェックインはパパッと済んだのですぐに休むことが出来ました。値段を考えると寝るための部屋としては広くて綺麗で満足だったと思います。
不満をあげるならバスタオルがなんだかボロボロだったことと、フロントの方が素っ気なかったことです。
周辺は歩いていないので分かりません。

送迎利用時片道150B、コンビニは少し遠い

お部屋は建物新しいので快適です。欠点はホテルと空港の送迎。事前に有料であることを明記してあれば良かったけど、送迎を利用すると150Bかかります。往復だと300B。安いから良いけど、事前に明記してほしい。立地は深夜着の為、あまりわからないけど、近くのコンビニまで歩いたら20分はかかると思う。空港のコンビニで必要なものを事前購入することをお勧めする。

Smutsigt, riktigt dålig frukost. Otrevlig personal. Vill bara tjäna pengar, lurendrejeri. Beställde taxi via hotellet. Dom skulle ha 1000bath. Tillbaka tog vi privat taxi o betalade 300bath för samma sträcka.
Inte ens värt det billiga priset, kommer ALDRIG bo där igen.

Dommage! Bel hôtel spacieux, propre et moderne, mais tellement bruyant! C’est comme si cet hôtel était une énorme caisse de résonance... le moindre bruit se répercute à travers tous les étages... insupportable! Et le personnel semble à peine sorti de l’adolescence... pas très dégourdi... et il faut qu’ils se mettent à l’anglais!
