The staff were friendly but the room was not fully clean. Needed new sheets, had to wash all dishes before using them, found old food and things from past guests. All the walls a PAPER thin it was like your neighbours were right in your room with you.

Room was not spotless but clean enough. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. The stove didn't work and kitchen supplies were pretty sparse. A few bowls and plates and cutlery, not enough for 4 people and the room slept 6. Thin walls, comfy beds, but overall considering the price for what you get, it was good value.

Not sure about the stove.. i couldn't tell which element went with which switch. So I heated water for tea in the coffee maker... perfect. Shower was hot. Needs a bit of attention to cleaning (lots of hair in tub drain) but overall just fine. I'd come.again. easy check in. Great location. Very quiet and comfortable.

The room has been renovated on the cheap with kitchen cupboards hand painted. Cleanliness was poor, hair, dirt and dust behind and around the toilet. Dust on the heating ducts looks like they are never cleaned. Dark long hairs in bath and sink. Attention to detail in the cleaning is not there

Nicely located clean motel

The motel is nicely situated within minutes of the lake. The room was clean. The only drawback with having a king size bed is that there is only one bedside table (a common occurrence where motels are trying to accommodate the king sized bed in rooms that were not built for them). Very minor quibble and not a deal breaker for sure. Could use a fan/extractor in bathroom and over stove. Overall a very pleasant stay.

So not stay here. We had a terrible experience. We travel often and have modest expectations. We were arriving late and we were told we couldn't check in after 10 o'clock. The night that we arrived, we were going to be late so we called them and they said that it was no problem to check in late, so I'm not sure why they didn't tell us that before.
On the last night of our stay, people were partying till 4 AM in the room beside us when I called the front desk and nobody answered because they don't have anyone working there after hours EVER.
The next day, when I went down to complain, they argued with me about the fact that I never actually called them. They told me that I could talk to the manager the next day and that he would call me.
He didn't. I waited four days and called back. They basically told me that they have no idea when the manager/owner will be in. I asked what their policy was regarding emergency situations and they didn't have an answer when I pressed for more information the front desk Clarke hung up on me. I called back four times and she refused to answer my phone call.

This hotel is being run by a bunch of yahoo's. They have no management around to help them in the event of any situation that goes sideways. I would be scared to wonder what they would do in an emergency situation. The owner doesn't even care.
The people at the front desk I think are sleeping in a back room. We watch them walk out barefoot so I don't think they follow stand hygiene.

This stay is excellent value for your money, perfect for a young family. The location is fantastic (though I wish there were sidewalks outside) with just a few minute walk to restaurants, coffee, and the beach. I’d definitely come here again.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the room didn’t feel clean to my standards, but it might have just been because it was outdated. And this factor would not stop me from booking again.

The owners are kind and accommodating. I would love to come back in the summer, it would be a perfect vacation spot.

We arrived to find the king room we prepaid was unavailable and were moved to a queen instead, with no offer of a rate adjustment or upgrade. The front desk clerk declined to address the discrepancy, which was disappointing since a fare adjustment is the minimum when a lower room category is provided. Otherwise, the room and property were clean.

It had a small kitchen that was well equipped and had a full size fridge that was convenient. There were lots of outdoor seating options just outside the back door and around the pool. I was there for just one night but it would be perfect for a longer stay. The price was right for this time of year!

I booked this motel because it seemed like a good deal, but it ended up being a waste of money. The property was extremely unclean, and the staff were unhelpful. When I tried to cancel just 10 minutes after booking, I was told by the motel that I could get a refund if I contacted Expedia. After spending over an hour with Expedia support, the motel changed their position and said the booking could be cancelled but with no refund. When I called back to clarify, staff hung up on me.
I ultimately kept the reservation for my siblings, but when they arrived the room was so dirty that they didn’t want to stay either. This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing. I would not recommend this property.

I liked the size of the room but utensils and dishes nothing matched good thing I bought my own stuff and the stove was old and didn't work properly.Zero sound proofing so really noisy. Patio around pool slab is lifting and I took a good fall. It has the bones and location if owners would spend the money and hire actual contractors. Truthfully if you want to party 24/7 it is fine, I didn't.

Beds are terrible. Very walkable area to the coyote cruises, and to lake Okanagan. There's an amazing breakfast place that has delicious smoothie bowls and only a 5 min walk. There's a restaurant next door too. Pool was nice. Nice big room. Couch was gross and old. Clean.

I LOVED this property for its location and pool. Overall great experience BUT the pans and utensils were very well loved and had metal / plastic bits coming off into my food when I cooked and the door handle was very hard to unlock. I was okay as I’m young and able bodied but anyone elderly would struggle greatly. Overall amazing hotel but just needs some minor low cost fixes to make it amazing!

Perfect for what we were looking for, quite dated but I think we had an older room. Beds and pillows were very comfy and laundry was handy. Kitchen was well stocked and bbqs were great. Pool was nice. Very close to canal float entrance and the beach. It’s a Motel that Reflects the price but offers enough good qualities to make you want to come back.
They could definitely improve on the cleanliness with some extra attention to detail.
