Room clean and roomy and bed comfortable. It is positioned next to the airport and near the antique centres. Room had no air conditioning and not much ventilation so had a poor sleep. It was a hot and humid day. Need to put in air conditioning and maybe a ceiling fan.

All i could taste the whole time was dust ...both times i have stayed at this motel you turn on the air conditioner and the room gets hotter and dusty as hell ...i had to open the front door at 3 am just to let some air in because i woke up coughing my guts out from how stuffy and dusty it was .....never again

It is far from main beaches and city centre , prices were cheap compare other places i think how much you pay how much you get , i think if you cant find accommodation around peninsula its ok for one night stay.it needs to improve specialy entry for night ,no sign .

This property is really old and dated. Air con / heating is a central control so i could only have the room what the owner decided. Bed linen is old and shabby. Really needs an update. Terribly over priced.Go stay somewhere else.

Not happy , sleep is needed.

The staff were great in accommodating my late arrival and also my request to change my room, the bad things that happened were thoughtless neighbours who had there tv on loud ALL night and when I changed rooms the next night different neighbours were allowing there kids to run up and down the front of everyone’s rooms screaming with no supervision till almost midnight. Very thoughtless behaviour towards other paying guests.

Just a comfortable convenient stay

I chose this place because it was close to an event I was attending. The room is a little outdated and could definitely do with an update, but the bed was comfortable and the TV worked. Biggest downer was the noisy aircon. I had to turn it off in the end because it was so loud. And unfortunately could hear the aircon in the room next door after it did that. Reception lady was friendly and helpful.

Overall clean and tidy with easy vehicle access and parking. Within walking distance from shops. Good price. Only 2 little issues: 1) the heating didn’t seem to work properly which made the first night’s stay uncomfortable, and 2) you have to negotiate a rather high and wide step into and out of the shower which is a safety hazard on a wet and slippery floor.

The property was fine but for the price I recommend including adult size soap and towel, shampoo and conditioner in the rooms. It was hard to keep the floor clean when the car park was wet and the room was less than 1m from the gravel and mud.

This accommodation is old school and reminds me of the overnight stays when I was a kid travelling with my family. Is almost day it’s vintage!:) Yes, it’s old, with all of its original bathroom, heating/cooling, doona covers ect, and a very tired landscape, but it was comfy & quiet. It was a clean room, with all the basics needed: working tv, comfy bed, ample amounts of blankets & pillows, and great shower pressure! I’d stay here again:)

Old fashioned motel, needs updating but was clean and comfortable. Provided toaster and cutlery but no washing up facilities. Swimming pool very nice with jacuzzi. Unfortunately other residents were loud and partied all night, this wasn’t the motels fault though.

Very much in need of updating. The air con is from the 60s. I ran a hot shower without needing the cold tap. All night we could hear neighbours coughing, farting and using toilet. Didn’t seem to be many guests, yet we were all in adjoining rooms so could hear EVERYTHING in neighbouring rooms. Won’t be in a hurry to return.

This hotel was the worst we've ever stayed in, and at $160 for the night, was one of the most expensive.
The room smelled of mould and mildew, and gave me asthma overnight. The small double bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the linen, whilst clean, was very old, stained, and threadbare. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, and the ceiling was mouldy and rotting.
The first room they gave us was worse and the heater didn't work, so they moved us to a marginally better one.
The building is rotting in several sections, and the ironing board was broken in the laundry. The games room and pool were locked and not accessible in the afternoon.

My expectations were low as it was cheap. We booked two nights but left early as my partner was unhappy with the property. There was a man smoking at the front in the room next door and that wafted under our door. There was a noisy occupant at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure good. There were very few power outlets. The accomodation is dated and in need of some TLC and an update to make it more comfortable. We won't be returning

This was our second time staying at this place. We absolutely love it. It is close to kiddie activities at the Mornington Peninsula. There is an IGA and Vline train station and playground within walking distance.
The pool is just the best bit to relax after a whole day of having fun. There is a large yard in front that kids can use to play.

The reception was friendly, welcoming and relaxed. The pool was a blast. The location was walkable to a local IGA and some cafes and the Hungry Peacock.
The rooms were clean and big enough for when you stay with a toddler.
There was a bus service just outside of the hotel.
Overall, I would definitely want to stay there again.

Well kept but old motel with room to room noise

A simple... quite old but adequate and relatively clean motel. Very quiet surrounds and noise except for the airstrip just next door in the morning.

Conversations and snoring from next door rooms were clearly heard via adjoining door, even though the voice levels were quite normal.

Location ok despite being next to an airport. TV reception was awful. When you flush the toilet it ran continuously. The shower had someones hair in it that wasn't mine. Also shower nozzle had water spraying out the back straight into soap dish.

The Address wasn't correct. The Hotel is on the corner of Stuart Rd & some other major Rd in Tyabb. The entrance comes from the other road. Therefore the advertised address should be changed to avoid confusion. 2ndly theres a very narrow driveway leading to a T intersection- just near Reception. Also at this narrow Tintersection is some beautiful high Hedges. Unfortunately this has created a dangerous blind spot and definitely has a high potential for a collision. I nearly had one. This problem could be fixed up with Mirrors, signage or moving the hedge back and thus eliminating the blind spot.

Last minute stay over due to work in area. Hotel staff extremely helpful with local requirements of food and supermarket items as well as setting up check-in for my late arrival. Room had everything I needed and a comfortable bed.

This hotel was chosen for convenience, as we were attending a wedding nearby. Our stay was brief and uneventful, with a 6AM departure to get to work. It was not without some interesting extras, such as the swimming pool, but we did not have time to use. Otherwise, dated, but comfortable
