The very courteous staff, especially Jo. The absolute cleanliness of of cabin and the position of it which allowed us to enjoy nature & serenity, enjoying variation of flora & fauna.
Thank you very mu ch for this amazing experience which sadly had to be cut short due to my husbands heart issues.

Christmas spent Glamping

We had a great stay in the Sunset Tent during Christmas. Although there was no air-conditioning, fortunately we had a cool breeze blowing through & by opening the windows it flows through - also has a fan if needed. Toilet & shower was just a small walk away.
Lots of wildlife to enjoy - we seen & heard Koalas, possums, magpies & lorikeets were all very friendly.
Sunset views were very spectacular.
Great dining options nearby as well.

We liked our stay here. The cabin was beautiful. We saw a koala our first night, and loved the daily ranbow lorikeet visits. Shops are a short drive.

The receptionist was fantastic, and was able to help us upon arrival with baby wipes, when we ran out as we arrived!! Thanks again :)

The Spa was not usable - the jets were coated in an orange film and it is clear that it has not had a quality clean in a long time! Dirty washing was also left in the washing machine. The laundry here is dismal, and placed inside an in-use bathroom.... We were unaware of the early and very loud Zumba class running out the hall of right next to our cabin, that was a loud and very early start :(

Whilst nice, this stay did not meet our expectations.

Friendliness of the staff was second to none - nothing was too difficult
The villa was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking all meals
We absolutely loved the spa bath as well as the view from the front verandah
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay and will be making this place a destination for an annual holiday - except next time for longer!!

Loved the peace and quiet, the bird life and leafy grounds. The garden was well kept. The reception person was very helpful and welcoming. Instructions and rules of the park were easy to follow and everything was easy and organised when booking in to the villa we stayed in. We were in walking distance to restaurants and cafes and a short distance from the bowling club for food. We had a lovely couple of days and will try to return in the future. Thank you.

The word that comes to mind is magical. Amazing experience staying in the glamping tent. The birds, the stars, the view.. it was just magical! There are 2 resident koalas but we were not sble to find them. Really great food at Cheeky Dog right down the street as well.

When I was looking at the property the website said that the toilet had been removed from the Glamping tents but the other bathroom components were still there. When we checked in the shower and basin had been removed. Even though we were close to the amenities this isn’t what was advertised. The website needs to be updated to remove any false information .

We stayed in a Glam tent and it was great. The view of the water was amazing and it has everything we needed. There are no toilets in the tent but the facilities were very close and some of the cleanest I've ever used. Just remember it is a tent and there are bugs as to be expected. The grounds were beautifully kept and the staff was extremely friendly.

I like the fresh air inside and outside the camp, shower is modern and toilet isn’t far away. Not to forget that the sunset view was epic experience. Although couple minor issues like spider web around top corners, some areas on the floor are sticky and the table at the balcony is not properly cleaned.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. I hope to come back again.

The glam tent was beautiful and presented really well. We loved that someone had turned, lights, heater and tv on for us and the additional welcome email was a nice touch - it was welcoming.
Would be ideal if bathroom included a toilet, though it isn’t far to walk it was challenging at times, especially in the middle of the cold night. Extra lighting on the deck would be great too, we were worried about stepping on the possums haha and it was difficult to eat on the deck at night.

Beautiful location and a well run holiday park with welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed in a water view unit. Outdoor furniture was run down (some chairs broken) and the place could do with spruce up but great value for the price. Good air con and comfortable beds.

The glamping tent was absolutely the most beautiful naturistic spot I have ever stayed in. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view was amazing. The only small thing I could suggest would be more lighting on the deck and maybe a microwave :) other than that, just perfect!

We stayed 5 nights there with children ranging from 3 to 9. Loved the pool and the beach was walking distance. Have nice eating places walking distance as well. You can venture out to Nelson bay and Shoal bay only about 20 minute drive but a nice scenic drive. Overall loved it all and very reasonably priced would definitely stay again!!!

Superb location, excellent park with a nice, relaxed, friendly vibe.
The cabins are really great - very comfortable. They could probably do with a bit of a refresh in a few years, but you are not buying high-end luxury here - you're getting nice, relaxed comfort.

We would definitely recommend a stay here, especially families.

The 2 bedroom villa sunset that we stayed in was lovely. The place was clean and the view was beautiful sunset. It was very relaxing and quiet. The staff were amazing and so lovely always greeting and smiling and helpful. The only thing I was not happy with was the sofa bed, you could feel the springs into your back which was very uncomfortable. Other than that the place was lovely.

A bit disappointing for my husbands birthday trip

This was a hard one to rate because initially everything was good, the location was where we expected and we were able to checkin a little early. The main problem was that there was no hot water, which may have been due to the storm that evening, luckily we were only staying 1 night so we put off showers until we went home but I was disappointed not to be able to use the spa we paid for. The only other problem was that the second bedroom had three light switches but only one light worked (over the main bed) so it was awkward for our sisters who were sharing the room. That second one was definitely a maintenance issue. We were disappointed in our cabin overall, although the place looks really nice.

This was a relaxing and very easy 5 night getaway.
The king bed was really comfortable and ‘bathroom’ large and really well appointed for ‘glamping’.
I believe there is great scope to return this area to an ‘adult only’ facility or at least keep say 6-10 as adult only.

Loved the view outside of our large balcony, location in soldiers point is great and staff gave great recommendations for food and local area. Also helped us with a tricky parking situation which is appreciated.

Took a long while for the aircon to actually cool down the whole apartment, which we frankly could use another additional one during summer time. The pool was very enjoyable though, overall we had a really nice stay.

Loved the glamping tent, even for a non camper.
Super super loud at night tho, all night. Hundreds of bats above, possums etc. We love the wildlife and hubby camps a lot. He said this was extra loud screeching tho. Unfortunately none of us could sleep through it. Poss due to full moon but it did take the edge off.
