The cabin was clean, neat and tidy. The layout was terrific! The tropical bushes and trees surrounding the cabin provided pretty privacy and kept it cool. Split system in the main area was appreciated although we didn't really need it as the lovely sea breeze came through.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a two bedroom cabin. We had a relaxing time. The second bedroom gave us plenty of room for our bags. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and was a well designed space. The office staff were particularly pleasant. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach, a small supermarket and local cafes. The eateries at the local surf club were very good. We managed to walk a short distance on the designated paths but could have done more with more time. The area is lovely and quiet and only a 5 to 10 minute drive if you wish to visit Shoal Bay or Nelson Bay.

We stayed in the 3 bed surf house and loved every minute of it. It was close to everything but secluded, felt like a home away from home.
There were a few maintenance issues when we arrived but they were taken care of right away with no drama and a smile.
The beach is beautiful and right across the road. Short walk to Cafe and convenience store around the corner. The surrounding bays are also really lovely and close.

The cabin had two bedrooms but one bedroom not usable as the door was locked. The cupboard space in our bedroom was small and we could have utilised the other rooms cupboards for our clothes and to store empty luggage as there was no room to put the empty suitcases. No iron or ironing board available and as it was a self contained cabin I thought it would have been available....maybe it was in the locked room???? The bed was so hard we had to go and buy a mattress topper so we could sleep on it and the pillows were so flat we went and purchased more.

The location of the holiday park in Fingal Bay is just great for our young family, across the road from the beach with access to safe bike paths. The kids could ride their bikes in the park and outside very safely. The holiday parks facilities are great with a park and swimming pool, plus two public parks close by. The basic kitchen in the cabin allowed for cooking meals which was handy. My only negative was the mould in the shower which wasn’t great for my asthmatic child, that said having stayed in many hotels for work this is a common problem in hotels.

The location of this property was the best, so close to the beach and a short drive to the other towns. The resort was perfect for kids, was very safe and well set out. We spent a lot of time cooking on the bbq in the playground area while the kids played, and ate at the tables in there, was great and the kids loved it. The pool is great and also very safe for little ones, the paddling pool is perfect for babies and toddlers however as the main pool slopes in depth at the entry the little kids could go in to a comfortable depth and enjoy the big pool with the bigger kids.

My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time overall! great parking behind house.The staff were lovely and helpful and the location is amazing. Lots to do and holiday park was immaculately clean and upkept. Unfortunately wifi did not work at all and couldn’t be connected in our beach house and pool was freezing. The TV in bedroom had no remote available and did not work due to storm a few days prior to our stay and the beds in bunk room weren’t the most comfortable and we had to make the bed ourselves. Foxtel and DVD player cannot be connected at the same time you have to manually swap over the cables but wasn’t too difficult. And the screen wasn’t the best quality but you don’t go there to watch tv all day anyway. The pool was super clean and pretty but not heated as mentioned and there was a gate out the front of the beach houses that take you straight across the road to one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia.
The lighthouse was an extremely long walk and you have to be careful because the spit is only able to be crossed at really low tide so I recommend leaving at 4-5am to get there and back in time.
Kitchen was beautifully clean and had most ammenities you need and lots of dishwashing liquid. Only there was no scissors which was a bit irritating but not overall too disrupting. Games room was lots of fun and affordable. Overall a great holiday and I’d go again. Perfect for a trip with friends or solo or for family with the extra sofa bed

We had a lovely holiday at Fingal Bay Holiday Park. We were in a Surf Villa and the Villa had 3 bedrooms and was very roomy. The Villa was extremely clean and had a bbq on the veranda which was an excellent added touch. The facilities were great and the only thing missing was a coffee shop/restaurant. The beach is just across the road and is a lovely beach. Everything is close by with restaurants within a 10 minute drive of Fingal Bay. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.
