Internet only works when the place is empty.
Spent 2 days on with Expedia and the place ti get refunded for last 2 days.
Staff claimed it was our international phones and gave US a number to call. Not helpful as this number stated they did not service Sonesta!
All this while arranging/ attending a funeral!
Ended up with loads of data charges- our phones were fine and had WiFi everywhere else.
People live there and obviously use several devices. If you have local phone service, you’re fine, then you’ll get free occasional WiFi !
The place is run down, carpet ripped up, hair in the vanity drawer. This used to be a beautiful hotel.
Will not return.

It was a great stay for what I paid. I was offered an upgraded suite so worth it!! However The hallways did smell like cigarettes and under my bed there was some old cookies my dog found. Thankfully he didn’t eat them he just pulled them out. There was also a lot of staining around on the carpet. Good overall, next time need to visit during pool season.

The place needs renovation; the coach got stains ..hallway carpet stains... The only good thing is the room got kitchenette; dishwasher and a full size fridge ... but some pots are not complete then when I opened the cabinet the plates are cracked and broken ; reported it downstairs lobby receptionist.... I requested a blanket to cover the coach :.so we can sit and watch TV...The staff is friendly and accommodating on whatever you might need to make your stay comfortable...

The check in experience was poor. The front desk clerk loudly announced loudly that my card was declined. I advised that couldn't be the case as i knew i had money available. She condescendingly told me to try myself (it worked with zero issues). She was very, very rude.

So far this place has been great. They worked with me with a couple issues that I had with checking in and staying in the same room. They allowed me to check in a little earlier than their proper check-in time after my long drive I was very tired and I really appreciate it going to my room earlier than expected. Upon checking in the hotel was positively disgusting. Dog hair and mascara on the “clean” bed. Red stains in the tub and the entire place reeks of cigarettes. They refused to refund us for our stay so did Expedia. Will never use Expedia or Sonesta ever again.

The room looked clean, spacious, and nice, but the bathroom was dirty; there was hair and feces on the underside of the toilet seat. They hadn't cleaned it, which was disgusting. The entrance to the rooms was also very dirty with a lot of trash lying around. The breakfast was good, which is why I gave it the stars I did.

I was concerned about some older reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Renata at check-in was great. We were 5 adults and stayed in the superior suite for 2 nights. Rooms, hallways, and breakfast area very clean. Breakfast food and coffee were good. Only complaint was the beds were pretty hard. Hotel is centrally located and quiet. Overall great place to stay.

Staff was great. Room was welcoming. Little dust on counters but nothing a quick wipe down didn't fix. Shower curtain inside liner had mold stains but did not smell of or spread any. Bed was very comfortable especially considering I usually sleep on a Temper-Pedic. Breakfast was pretty good: missing main attraction (aka waffles and pancakes), it could also use better fruit variety, and juice quality. Fitness room was well equipped for my needs. Overall, I'd definitely consider coming.

The room we had was dated, stain in one bathtub and pull out sofa either had some type of stain on it or mold, the floor in one bedroom looked like it had cigarette burns in it, the kitchen only had two coffee cups no glasses, the stove top had burn marks on it and the kitchen cabinets were very worn. Last night there were people arguing very loudly in the hallway.

During check in there was another guest compiling about the room they was given. We still checked-in giving the hotel the benefit of doubt but, when we got to our room you can tell it wasn't cleaned. The carpet was dirty there was urine in the toilet. The sheets were old. Please do not book here!

I guess the words to pay attention to is Extended Stay ! All the furniture in the room was very scratched and used. The water regulator in the bathtub shot out of the wall in my first night there. The problem was fixed the next day. The hallway, near the entry smelled like dog urine.

My fiancée and I stayed there for almost a week. Over this time we stayed in 2 different rooms. The mattresses had nasty stains on them, under the beds weren't vacuumed & above the fridges weren't wiped down apon entering both rooms. There was an absolutely over bearing urine smell on the first floor. Along with the entry keys very rarely worked. If they did work it was after 4-5 times of trying. The employees and the breakfast were the best part of the whole stay.

Fine for a one night stay.

The bed was comfortable, the AC worked, so over all it was a decent place for the one night.
This little place needs some TLC. The digital cards only work sometimes on the outside doors, it was funny because about 8 of us were trying to get in from the courtyard trying all of our cards.
The walls need to be painted (that will get rid of the stains and marks), the furniture needs to be replaced, our chairs were at the end of their lifespan.
We stayed during colder and rainy weather so we did not partake in any of the outdoor amenities.
I didn't want to post photos, I would think that pics of our room would not be fair to the overall hotel.
It's in a very convenient location, but we won't stay here again until they have a makeover.

The public areas were dirty and smelly. Worst of all was that the electronic key card access did not work on any doors! We couldn't get into the building where our room was, and then once we got in there (front desk person let us in) we couldn't get into our room (front desk person let us in)! This happened every time we left the hotel. And it wasn't just us, other people we saw were having the same problems. Very frustrating (even the front desk person, who was very nice, said she is covering for someone else and will never do work at that property again). Stay somewhere else!

Exactly What We Need!

The room was perfect for what we needed. It did need a bit more cleaning but we do carry our own cleaning supplies for this very reason. Carpet definitely needs a refresh. Our dog had plenty of walking and potty places. The staff is very nice and helpful! We are going to be staying here as much as we can because it is just a great location and has what we need. Just wish for an update on the carpet due to the stains. Not too bad overall though.

There is a very large incidental charge they call it 250 that is taken when you check in and returned in 5-10 days depending on your bank. Which I was not aware of prior to booing. Would not have ever booked if I knew. Not necessary especially for this hotel. Nothing fancy at all. And the key cards didn’t work at the building to get in and that was frustrating.

I didn’t expect it to be perfect based on other customer reviews and price, but the carpet in our suite was covered in grease stains, the bottom of the bathtub was grey with old dirt, and — this was the kicker — I opened a closet to look for sheets to put on the pullout couch and inside the closet was a heap of soiled linens, hair-covered towels, and stained pillows from a previous guest. I went to tell the (genuinely) nice woman at the front desk about it and she asked if I would be able to put the linens in the hall for housekeeping to pick up. I guess they don’t come into guests’ rooms. I did that, pretty much gagging the whole time. Also, I kept my shoes on the entire time I was in the suite to avoid touching the foul carpet. The toilet and bed were both clean, thankfully, but I couldn’t get home to shower in a clean bathroom fast enough. I’ll never stay there again.

Would not stay here again. The place is run down. The person at the front desk was nice but overwhelmed with customers, keys not working, etc. Our suite for 3 people had nothing for a third person. No sheets or pillows for the sofa bed, towels, etc. When I called the front desk, the head of housekeeping came and complained about the woman at the front desk then said that I was supposed to request the sheets, pillows, etc. and seemed irritated. There were lipstick marks on the glasses in the kitchenette. Yuk

First off i use sonesta a lot when i travel. This particular visit started off wrong with a error in my reservation with the front desk checking in. Fortunately there was a nice older lady that assisted and got us checked in correctly and even gave fresh linen and extra towels. We proceeded to our hotel room around back ,upon entrance there was a strong smell of dog urine by the elevator, which set of my allergies, luckily there was a cvs at the corner. The room appeared to be cleaned but the carpet not so much. Is wasnt a bad stay for the price. Breakfasts was ok not too much of a variety, the cook came out too bring out the food and was very nice. The kitchen in the room could of used more pots, pans and utencils. All of the residents was real nice. The pool was open and clean. There were multiple gas grills by the pool area which was awesome. Then there is a billing issue where i paid for the trip through hotels. Com but somehow my card still got charged, ive called the front desk spoke to a john who stated, he didn't see anything in my account. So now i have to go through the whole song and dance to get my money back. Oh yeah, i came back with pink eye
