What an amazing little place Hotel Fevery is. It is nestled away in the streets of Bruges from the business of the tourist spots, but very accessible to everything.

Paul and his staff were amazing and the comfort of the property was outstanding. We even rented their bicycles for the day and had an amazing ride to the coast and back.

The rooms were both quaint and clean. I would recommend to anyone and stay there again if the opportunity presented itself again.

Paul was very welcoming to my husband & myself . Our room was cosy, comfortable & immaculately clean. The continental Breakfast was really lovely every morning & The manager Paul surprised me by making me crepes with cinnamon sugar on my birthday. Hotel fevery was 20 mins walking distance to the centre of Bruges & there was a free bus service which was a bonus 😀 we recommend Hotel fevery to all

This is a nice hotel located a little outside of the central area, but still within easy walking distance. The location is therefore very quiet and peaceful, but still conveniently located. A taxi ride from the train station was something like 12 or 13 euro. The room was very comfortable including a nice bathroom and windows that can be opened to let in some fresh air. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most welcoming hotels I have ever stayed in. The owner Paul made us feel at home and was very helpful with his suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The hotel decor was charming and the room very comfortable. Hotel Fevery is within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Bruges. Pleasant family hotel really nicely run

Stayed here on a business trip; convenient location for the business and an easy walk into town. Really lovely people, nice room, good wifi. Breakfast OK (no granola, no pastries, a croissant one day), but nice fresh soft-boiled eggs.

The hotelier Paul was really friendly and helpful. He gave us a great rate for private parking for our car for the duration of our stay and even when we booked out on our last day let us leave the car for a few more hours free of charge. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice with great coffee too. The hotel
was spotless, modern and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was just 10 minutes walk to the Markt so was quiet but close to the hustle and bustle of the centre. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful place to spend a few days with friends.

We were meeting up with friends, they live in south Germany and we live in Devon UK. We decided Bruges would be a lovely place to meet up and enjoy the company and the town. We chose Hotel Fevery being walking distance into town centre and from its good reviews.
The hotel is a small privately owned hotel that offers very good service, excellent Continental breakfast with lots of choice plus delicious soft eggs and toast upon request, yum. The bedroom, though small had a very comfy bed ( slept very well), nice little bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. Paul, the host and owner, plus his staff, were very welcoming and helpful giving lots of good tips of where to visit and places they recommended for meals.
We would very happily stay there again when visiting Bruges again.
We spent 3 full days enjoying most of what Bruges had including wonderful beers, food and too much chocolate! We also spent 1 day in Ghent town centre, which was as lovely as Bruges and just as enjoyable.
Both towns were a bit more expensive for tourist activities but despite this, we all enjoyed our stay in Belgium very much.
Mind you, the weather was absolutely perfect, with endless sunshine but not hot just perfectly warm.

Nice clean hotel in good location to Bruge centre approx 10 minutes walk along canals and cobbled streets. Only thing was missing was coffee and tea facilities in the room. Other than that it was lovely stay. Paul , our host was incredibly helpful and polite. Would return to without a doubt.

Fantastic Hotel

The hotelier has got everything right. The welcome was warm. The helpful advice about our stay and places to visit were excellent. There was a little book in the reception full of recommendations about bars, restaurants and cafes that were brilliant and we would not have had such a great stay or eating experience without it. They even had bicycles to hire from the hotel very reasonably priced of which we took full advantage. Wonderful stay and would recommend it most highly.

lovely, clean hotel in a great location ( 10 min walk into the centre of bruges),
Paul the owner is very informative towards sight seeing, directions and advice where to eat and drink.
hotel does come with parking, must be pre booked at an extra charge of €15 daily (lock up garage, very safe), compared with on the street parking which is €2 per hour, max stay is 4hrs.
breakfast is ample with hard boiled egg, fruit, cerals, bread, toast, ham, pancakes and jams ( no cooked breakfast ).
Rooms and bathrooms are very good, clean and comfortable beds.

Lovely Stay at Hotel Fevery

I stayed at Hotel Fevery for three nights and absolutely loved it.
On a map it looks quite a bit out from the Markt but it is only a very pleasant 10 minute walk along the canal and then through town. Location is quiet and safe - as a single female traveller I was very happy walking around after dark.
Breakfast in included and is the perfect start to the day. Paul serves orange juice straight away and asks for a hot drink order - I was a fan of the hot chocolate that came with a side dish of chocolate pellets to make it stronger (or just to eat!). Cereal, spread, meat, cheese and fruit is available at hand and Paul then brings a bread basket and perhaps a croissant or waffle (depending on the day) and asks if you would like an egg cooked. Wonderful.
Check in was easy and Paul kindly gave me a map of the town and pointed out the routes to get to the Markt as well as some other attractions of special note. He even noted some restaurants close by as well. At check out I wanted to have one final trip back to the Markt and Paul kindly let me leave my bag for a time.
The room was good with comfortable bed, good shower and a pot of jelly beans as a treat. I faced the street so lots of natural light. It was fine for me as a single person and would be fine with two but I woukd advise being organised with your luggage and having out what you need and then store it so as to not take up lots of space. I stayed in a double room, I think a Small size.

What a find!

I discovered the Fevery Hotel through the travel app Trivago and liked the photos of the place. The hotel exceeded my expectations! The geniality and warm welcome offered by Paul and his Mother made the visit seem very personalized. I have food sensitivities (egg and milk intolerant) and they made sure I had a nourishing and filling breakfast each morning.

The rool was spotless and it was kept that way throughout my stay. Suggestions were offered for places to visit - along with clear directions for getting there and Paul and his Mother helped me track down items I particularly wanted to buy. I travelled solo and felt completely safe at night in walking about the town.

The weather was quite raw, but it was such a pleasure to be able to walk everywhere in such charming streets. The people were all so friendly too.

We have just come back from three days in Bruges, staying at the Hotel Fevery with some good friends.
The hotel is really well run, with friendly helpful staff who are always happy to go the extra mile for you.
The hotel has a warm and friendly feel to it, the rooms are clean and tidy and the street outside is really peaceful at night time.
The breakfasts are excellent and it's a really convenient location, whether you want to explore the canals or visit the centre, which is just 10 or 15 minutes away on foot.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely use it again next time we visit Bruges.

Hotels in Brugge are quite expensive. For a short walk to the center of town, this was a very comfortable place to stay with great service from the host/owner. I appreciated being able to have eggs every day in a country where much bread is served for breakfast and everyday we also had fresh fruit salad. The crepes were delicious (wish that was served more often). Though it was barely ten minutes to the center of town, it was such a quiet neighborhood that I was a little hesitant to walk home alone but I did as it's a safe town (and definitely not a problem at all for a couple to walk home at night). The owner was gracious in giving me a late check out as they were able to do this. It really helped me with my travels for the day. The place was modern inside the room, clean and very well kept with always friendly and helpful front desk service. My room was very comfortable for myself but a little small for two people but very nice (not space to open two suitcases).

Perfect place to spend a few days

This is a restful, convenient and lovely place to stay in Brugge. Paul, the proprietor, was very accommodating and eager to make our stay the best it could be including arranging rental bikes right from the property, providing maps and sightseeing assistance and helping us arrange train tickets. We loved the family atmosphere and feeling welcomed. The only drawback is that we stayed during a hot spell and the room didn't have air conditioning so was a bit hot to sleep. A small issue in an otherwise great stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Standard room was so small that we had a chair removed so that we could move the luggage rack to its place in order to create a clear path around the end of the bed to get to the bathroom. The bathroom floor was spongy - rotten sub-floor underneath the recently installed top-floor? Black mould was starting to appear on the ceiling/wall joint around the tub area.
Staff was very attentive and helpful, but the hotel did not feel welcoming - A sign in bathroom forbidding hand laundry. The sound on television was restricted to a loud whisper by a regulator.

This is a great hotel, it is about 10 minutes from the centre, however it is also in a very peaceful location. Breakfast is really good and there is some variety each day. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The real star of this hotel is Paul the owner, he is so polite and extremely helpful. He recommended and made a reservation at an excellent and reasonably priced restaurant for us and also booked our tickets for our return coach journey back to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to go back.

Fabulous eco family run hotel. Our comfort room was had everything in that was needed. Comfortable beds with good quality linen. A curtained rail for hanging clothes, with safe above the rail. A small cupboard that held the hairdryer and a blanket if required. A table with 2 chairs, plenty of mirrors and a tv showing a couple of english cannels, a gift of jelly beans were a lovely touch. Bathroom spacious , lovely towels, with Eco hand-wash and combined show and hair wash provided .
Free breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day. A small selection of cereals, cheese, ham, a boiled eggs if required, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, and a great selection of fresh breads. Free tea, coffee and filtered water was available from reception. Perfect hotel just a short walk along the canal from the main square, run by an owner that not only cares about the environment but also about his guest having a great experience.

Delightful Stay in Bruges

Far enough away from the main drag to avoid the throngs of tourists but close enough to walk to the city centre in just a few minutes, Hotel Fevery is the ideal base from which to explore Bruges. The owner, Paul, was attentive and helpful and made us feel immediately at home. The room was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom. Thanks to this lovely little hotel we had a delightful stay in Bruges.

A very welcoming place to stay. Great breakfast, room super clean, communal lounge was cosy, warm everwhere, good wifi signal. Quiet location, easy to walk to the centre, bus stop nearby.
The only negative was you can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms - both to the side and above - a shame as it was so quiet outside. It wouldn't stop us staying again though as you never know who your neighbours will be!

Most helpful staff ever!

I went there with my wife and parents for 3 nights. We had some medical conditions (I had pinched nerve in my shoulder and my wife needed a wheelchair since she had a twisted knee). Paul, the owner/manager was extremely helpful with organizing all medical needs and getting our luggage in and out of the room and most knowledgeable about any usual questions that tourists might have - best service ever! The hotel itself is very nice and clean, located in a quiet part of downtown Brugge, but very close to all main attractions. In the early evening hours (until 10 pm) you can chose from a nice beer selection in the common area for very reasonable prices.

We stayed at this hotel after reading the brilliant reviews. The Hotel Fevery lived up to these great reviews and more as we had a superb time in Brugge.

The owners were always pleasant and friendly and more than happy to recommend and help us book local restaurants and things to do.

The room was spotless and had everything you could need. Comfortable bed, good size bathroom and more than enough space in the bedroom.

Located in the attractive and quieter Northern part of Brugge, the hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre.
Breakfast was served between 8-10am and was wonderful, boiled eggs, fresh bread, cheese, ham platters, yoghurt, fruit, cereal and more. All of it was really very good and set us up well for the day ahead.
We would definitely recommend the Hotel Fevery to anyone visiting the wonderful Brugge.

Great Little Place to Stay in Bruges

Great little place with good service and free small breakfast in the morning. The prices are reasonable and the rooms are smaller but all of them are in Europe. Owner Paul is nice and helpful and will help you with reservations or directions. Just about 12 blocks away from city central so good walking distance which you follow one of the canals in to town.

Quiet clean and friendly B&B

The Févery is a small (ten room) B&B on a very quiet side street, just North of the centre of Bruges. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Markt (the main square in Bruges). The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was maybe a bit on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, buffet style. Parking is difficult in Bruges so if you're staying a few days contact the hotel to see if you can pre-book a lock-up garage (just a couple of minutes away, €10 a day). There's not much in the immediate area near the hotel, so you're likely to walk back into the centre for evening meals - but there are plenty to choose from in and around Markt. The reception staff also recommended getting a three day museum pass for €20 (just €17 with a discount card that the staff gave us) that gets you into all the main museums in the town - well worth getting this museum pass.

No children under 6, not a family hotel

After a 45 minute walk from the train station over brugge's horrible cobbled streets, we were greeted with a member of the hotel staff stating that they don't accept bookings for families with children under 6 years old. Despite no mention of this on the Expedia page, or during booking. The hotel manager was ok with this misunderstanding and our stay was pleasant. The location was not ideal, but quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were spacious. No air conditioning or fridge.

Better than expected room with elevator available if you don't want to do the stairs. Made to order soft boiled eggs every morning with breads, yogurt, meats and cheese. Bikes available for rent and staff is more than helpful to make sure your stay is everything you had hoped. I will definitely be recommending to friends!

Lovely small hotel with friendly service

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a romantic weekend in February 2014 and we had a lovely stay. The hotel is a small townhouse in a quiet street only 10 minutes walk from the market square. On arrival we got a warm welcome from the owner Mr Asselman. He gave us a map of Bruges and helpfully drew on some walking routes and circled his recommended sights.

The hotel itself was spotless and in excellent repair. We booked an economy room which was small but very clean. There was digital TV and free WiFi. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and set us up for the day.

The only slight downside is I would avoid the top floor rooms if you have mobility problems. There is a lift but on that floor there were still some stairs up to the room and our room had a few steep steps from the sleeping area up to the bathroom. Didn't cause any problems but it may pur some off.

All in all a comfortable and friendly small hotel and excellent base to see Bruges!

For me the measure of any hotel, be it a 5 star or simple bed and breakfast is the quality of sleep that I get and Hotel Fevery in Bruges scores very highly on this score.

The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful corner of Bruges, close to the main canal and a pleasant 10 minute walk from the cities two main squares. We were given a cordial welcome from Paul the hotel owner with helpful tips on which way to walk around the city.

Our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean as was the rest of the hotel. We slept great and there was no major noise from other guests heard in the room. The breakfast was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the perfect soft boiled eggs each morning of our two night stay. TV channels included BBC 1 and 2.

Great hotel

The hotel is a family business, and Paul (manager) does his best to make sure any needs are taken care of, from restaurant recommendations to umbrellas. I cannot compliment his customer service enough! The hotel does its best to be as eco friendly as possible, but this doesn't mean they skimp on anything. Located 7 minutes from the main city square, it's a short walk to restaurants and bars. If possible, try to get in on a weekend when the local markets are in town.

Gem in a quiet neighborhood

After an approximate 10 euro cab ride from the train station we arrived at this quaint 10 room hotel. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but only 10-15 minute walk into the centre of the city. Paul, the owner, greeted us by 1st name as we walked in the door. Without asking, he provided us with a map and details of restaurants and walks to take. Traditional European breakfast with cold cuts, cheese and bread along with Paul's signature \"organic soft boiled egg\". Roomy bedroom with very comfy bed. Friendly, personable, and always willing to help you out. Definitely our hotel of choice.

Great ambiance with typical Bruges flavor

We stayed two nights with my wife at the Fevery Hotel. The place looks like a movie, perfect fit for this charming city. It is located a bit outside the most touristic area of the Markt, around 15 minutes walking, which gives it an extra flavor. You do not want to be in the Markt area during high season, it is too crowded. We chose this hotel because they have a private garage one block away, which they rent at 10 euros per day, which is very reasonable.
Paul, the owner, is a great host, he gave us information about the area in a map, and sold us a very cheap walking tour guide which we used to go all around the city. The second day we made a one day trip to Brussels, he gave us a map of the city, explained us everything we need to visit, and gave us a train and a bus ticket which we used to go back and forth, which was very convenient because we just paid him for what we used.
The third day he rented us very good bicycles , which we used to go all around the city and to visit Damme, which is a lovely town 20 minutes away. The trip along the canal, with the farms and the windmills is something you should do, it is like a fairy tale.
The rooms is not big, but very cozy, the bathroom very comfortable, with enough hot water.
The breakfast is served by Paul and his Mom, they serve very nice assorted breads, ham, cheese, jelly, butter, fruit salad, and they prepare boiled eggs on demand.

We definitely recommend thsi hotel for your stay in Bruges,such a lovely and romantic city.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean and comfortable little hotel. A little old fashioned but in a nice quiet location within a 10 minute walk of the centre of things. Very comfortable bed and a good breakfast.

Staff and management are very helpful and accomadating. Breakfast is good and included in very reasonable room price. Only negative is that rooms are small.

Great all round hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fevery. The owners were very helpful with suggestions of what to do and a map to make everything easy to find.

Also sold the bus tickets at a reduced rate.

Considerate, thoughtful and overly helpful!

Genuinely owned by the loveliest people who couldn't do enough to help us despite our late arrival! Convinient location for the main square with short term parking available. En suite bathrooms were seizable and clean.

Tudo estava perfeito. O Hotel é lindo, o atendimento e a atenção da Sr. Dominique e do Sr.Paul foram espetaculares. Quarto muito bom, tudo limpo, água muito quente no chuveiro. Recomendo !
