In a summer of extreme heat (it was in the 90s) we often took refuge in our amazingly cool room! We were on the 3rd floor, and there is a very small elevator for baggage up and down, so most people use the stairs. The room had every comfort. A fridge, coffee and tea. Comfy bed. The staff is very helpful as well. We chose to eat breakfast out, so I can’t comment on that. I loved the location as well. Lots of places close by but not in the thick of tourist. Highly recommend!

This property was lovely. It was SO convenient and right near the Market Place. Where you can find lots of food/drinks places. Walkable to the canal boat ride, beautiful view and lots of bars to sit with beautiful canal views. We visited Bruges, Ghent/Gent and Brussels. Bruges was our favourite.
Property had a lift, really great air conditioning (we went in the hot weather) staff were lovely, she even gave us cute little cookie on our departure!! Bus service there as well, can pay contactless on the bus. Bus number 2 also takes you to Bruges station

The hotel was charming, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the city. The beds were very comfortable, the small two-person elevator added to the character, and everything was well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, and the maître d’ was especially helpful with recommendations for places to go and things to see. Highly recommend.

Where do I start? I would give this hotel a \"10\" if it were an option. This hotel makes my \"short list\" of places I would stay at again in less than a heartbeat. The hotel is in the heart of center-city Brugge, easy to find, parking was on the street, but still easy to find. Althea was the sweetest preson to meet upon check-in (by far the easiest check-in EVER!!!!). George theBear in his little terry robe waiting on the bed was such a heart-warming touch! Room was not large, but it was perfectly fine for our needs. AC was amazing!!!!!! The mattress????? Awesome-ness to sleep upon. The breakfast? Beautiful bone china settings awaited you in the breakfast room, it was a small buffet with homemade goodness and MIMOSAS!!!!! We will be back..........

Where to start? The front receptionist was so helpful and dedicated to helping guests feel at home. Our room was attractive, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was way more than expected with both hot and cold items. The mimosas put the frosting on the cake. Then the location……..just off the main square, it was quieter and convenient to everything one would need for full walking access all around Bruges. I would highly recommend this hotel for guests that want to feel at home and well taken care of.

Hotel Biskajer is in a great location, next to the burg, easily walkable to all interest points, Belfry, Church of Our Lady, Beguinage, Basilica of the Holy Blood, Almshouses, etc. The hotel is beautifully decorated with lace curtains, china tea cups and more. The optional breakfast buffet is in a beautiful room. While I don’t usually enjoy breakfast, the ambiance is worth it. As an extra treat, we received a bag of cookies as we checked out.
We are towards the end of our European trip. We only spent two nights at Hotel Biskajer and this was the first hotel that cleaned our room during our stay. I would definitely return to Hotel Biskajer and will recommend it to our family and friends.

This boutique hotel was a gem! Situated within walking distance to all the historic sites but in a very quiet square . The staff were outstanding, especially Nicole, who was always available to make our stay even more enjoyable! One feature I really appreciated as a Canadian, this was the first European hotel of the many I have visited in the past 3 months, that had facecloths! Breakfast was incredible..huge variety beautifully presented. Lovely cozy renovated breakfast room….much prettier than the picture. Shops and restaurants nearby and each room had heat and air conditioning. Easy Uber ride from airport or train station.I highly recommend this hotel.

charming but..

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is not 4 star quality however. The staff is abrupt and not as friendly as you would expect. Our maid service was horrible. I had to ask for shampoo and toilet paper! They did not make the bed properly. We had to redo it ourselves. I would expect more from a 4 star hotel. The breakfast buffet is very nice, if you can stand the loud annoying music. Nice atmosphere, great location, rooms a bit too small for 2 people, even for Europe. I would not stay here again.

Only a couple of minutes walk to main square, but in a very quiet street. Breakfast was perfect, smoked salmon, hot eggs and bacon, freshly squeezed orange and even prosecco if you wanted it. Only niggles were the little wall lamps at headheight over the bed which were difficult to avoid. Also the pillows were a bit small.

The hotel is nice and as we travelled during Xmas period - it was nice, cosy and warm. However, a few massive disadvantages in the room: the shower doesn't have either a door or a curtain, a toilet's light was a movement sensitive, so literally you do your stuff there in complete darkness (sorry for details, but it was just awful!!!) and a host was cool about it saying that nobody ever asked questions about and made me feel bad like I was demanding fool... So it is a nice hotel, a great location, but these two things is such a turn off...

The best small hotel. You won’t be disappointed!!

This was absolutely the best small quaint hotel we have stayed in. I believe they have under 20 rooms and each one is beautifully wallpapered and furnished impeccably. It was so comfortable that you almost didn’t want to leave your room but Brugge is a delightful town that you have to see. A true chocolate box.
Their location is perfect. In the middle of an area near canals and a few blocks from the center of old town.
They serve a great breakfast and there are other numerous choices to eat close by. Next door is an amazing local restaurant where on a beautiful day you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the canals.
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable even giving you a map with all the local top attractions. They all speak English which is helpful for those of us who don’t speak the language.
