A charming, well-appointed, perfectly-located boutique hotel with excellent, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Be sure to book a dinner at the restaurant, as it is an incredible experience. Easy walk to all the major sites and shopping, and only two blocks to the bus stop for the train station makes it so easy for day trips (Ghent, for example).

Wow. The staff, location and our room was absolutely amazing. We were fortunate to get a room on the top floor which included access to the rooftop patio overlooking the rooftops and the bell tower. We took advantage of the steam room and sauna which will be reserved for your exclusive use when you reserve it. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

We booked in to the Hotel Heritage for my husband's 60th birthday. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. We had a deluxe room and were given champagne and chocolates on arrival. We had booked the 6 course dinner with matching wines. All of the food was delicious and the wines were perfectly matched. Both Anthony and Redgy were perfect waiters. The room was clean and comfortable. 5 star service all round

The standout element of this hotel is the service, in particular the staff in the restaurants. Eugene who is a breakfast server deserves a shoutout. His service is exceptional, nothing is too much and he always has a smile and welcoming demeanour. I also loved the quietness of this place, it is a small boutique hotel so it felt like we had privacy and could relax. We had a classic double room, which I must say did feel a little small for us both with our luggage. As a women, I did bring alot of clothes and the wardrobe space was lacking! The rooms could do with a few upgrades, like new TVs for example. Perhaps a smart tv. Also another suggestion is conditioner in the bathroom's. The bathrooms only had 2 in 1 shampoo, which as most women would agree is not ideal. Loved the hotel though and I am a fan of the regency style decor!

Why charge for every little thing?Overall very nice and well stocked. The spa was nice. Had a relaxing massage, not the best but nice. Nice touches throughout room such as water, fruit, chocolates, radio, various English-language channels on the TV. Excellent location 2 mins to main square and Belfort. Walk to any attraction in Bruges in minutes.

The property is very small, as are the rooms. There is an in bath shower in a tiny toilet. The property is one of the most expensive hotels in Bruge and is not worth the extortionate price. The staff were unhelpful when I complained and they told me I was not entitled to my money back, even though the limitation was not made clear to me when I booked.

Great location in downtown Bruges. There is a spa/gym located in the basement with both a steam room and a sauna. Every night before I went to bed housekeeping left a little box with Belgium chocolates on my pillow. For travelers that have been on the road for a while there is a laundry mat located next to the hotel. The front office staff was very helpful and assisted us with everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again

We were upgraded not a junior suite with a welcome fruit basket. There is an elevator which was a welcome relief for taking the suitcases to the fourth floor. The front desk was very helpful and parked the car for us. It's helpful to reserve a car space with the hotel. Two sinks and a large vanity made getting ready for the day very easy. The bathroom also had a separate shower and a jetted tub.

Do not recommend this Hotel. Although the hotel was conveniently located, our room ( # 18) was terrible. Located next to a staff service entrance with constant noise of people walking up and down stairs and over our room. The shower door had opening and closing problems and the towel rack was falling off the wall. Our room had a bad sewer smell that progressively got worse until we couldn’t stand it anymore. We asked to switch rooms and had to waste time sitting in the old room repacking all our clothes and toiletries and waste even more time waiting for the new room to be cleaned. We had to ask a couple of times for the new room to be cleaned for us as they were in no hurry to help us get the new room. After several hours we finally got the new room on our last night and we able to salvage some of our vacation. If we hadn’t asked them a second time about the new room availablity I don’t think they would have cared. I think they were waiting for the owners response as what to do. The staff said they emailed the owners and were waiting for a response. I emailed them also and they never responded to me. Once they have your money I guess they don’t care anymore. They were prompt in responding to previous emails???. Based on our experience I do not recommend this hotel or the owners who don’t see to care about their guests. They did offer to comp or breakfast. That’s it. They know you are on vacation and probably not coming back anyways, so they don’t bother.Seriously? Beware

The air conditioner was also a problem as it was difficult to maintain a steady temperature with rooom being too hot at times and cold at other times. These are minor quibbles though.

This is an outstanding small hotel, just a block from the main square in Bruge. The owner, who greeted us, couldn't have been more pleasant, and the staff was excellent. The common areas are beautifully decorated, and our hotel room was well appointed as well, with fresh fruit, iPad, robes, etc. The bathroom was reasonably large by European standards. At the conclusion of our stay, we got a gift bag, which was a nice touch.

What an amazing place! Great service! Super room! Amazing hospitality! Reception was so helpful. I just can’t say enough. Location is in the historic center, walking distance to all the sites and restaurants. We enjoyed the fondue restaurant basically across the street from the hotel - recommended. €35 per night for car park is a bit steep, but it’s secure (and limited). Overall, great place and great service! Will def be back again!

The property enjoys an outstanding location within the center of Brugge and is an easy walk to the major market squares and the historic sites which make Brugge such an incredible destination. The icing on the cake is the La Mystique restaurant on the premises - the only gourmet restaurant we saw located within any hotel in Brugge. The food was extraordinary - inventively prepared and superbly served. I fully expect the restaurant will be sporting Michelin stars when next we visit - which we will. The Hotel staff is knowledgeable and engaged. When I wanted to locate one particular chocolate shop among what seemed like hundreds in the town, they jumped in to help, located the shop, marked my walking map, and gave some landmarks as navigational aids.

The Heritage is much smaller than other deluxe hotels, but in a classic old townhouse. We ate at the Relais & Chateau restaurant there and had a superb meal. The room was classic small European size but had lovely high ceilings and a nice bathroom. There was fresh fruit and water for us when we arrived and chocolates on our pillows every night. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and making reservations. The bar is cozy and the dining room elegant. (I have a photo of the dining room.)
