This hotel was PERFECT! We booked a Charming Double Room with Shower. Easy check in/out and the staff was really helpful with recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

PROS:
-Located in the center of everything. Super walkable
- Comfortable bed and decent size room
-Air conditioning was great! You could set the temp yourself. We were there during a heatwave so this was necessary.
- Elevators
- Cute hotel bar, self-service paid Starbucks machine (including iced drinks!) and a small store of snacks/drinks
-They will hold your luggage if you arrive early/ stay past check out
- Quiet. We couldn’t hear other guest inside our room.

CONS-
That we couldn’t stay longer!

Good location and nice modern touches. But of a maze to get to the room with some stairs. Staff super helpful. Could be a bit cleaner in some areas. There was snot or something on the wall and the backside of the washroom door had dirty fingerprints on the inside of the bathroom; I wiped them off

Just stayed room only and whilst there was no kettle or coffee facilities they are available if asked for. The room was nice, clean and had air-conditioning which was essential when we were there. Nice and quiet and the outside bar and seating area is a nice addition since I stayed here last time. Location is excellent too.

Great location, clean rooms, professional and helpful and friendly front desk staff. Must acknowledge Nieles at the front desk. We checked in quite early from a bike and barge trip and had expected to leave our bags and come back at check in time. Instead, Nieles kindly checked and found a room that was ready. After our strenous bike trip, having a room ready early was a blessing. Going above and beyond like Nieles did leaves a positive and lasting impression of the hotel. Another front desk staff member (sorry I did not get his name) pointed out that the train station we had reserved was too far out and we should have booked from Sint Michaels so we went there instead to catch the train saving time and money. I cannot stress enough that such kindness and professionalism is the exception (I travel alot and can attest) and needs to be specifically acknowledged. I will be recommending Martin's to friends and family planning a trip to Bruge.

Arrived early and left luggage behind desk. Had lockers for personal items which didn’t work. Asked staff to try. She couldn’t get them to work and turned around without saying anything and left.

We have used this hotel as a starting point whenever we are touring Europe. It’s a great location close to the centre has parking for the motorcycle. Slight daunting to get to because of the traffic restrictions but if you have a confirmed booking you can easily apply for the exception as a hotel guest.

Good breakfast with a lot of choice. Air Conditioning was good as it was unusually hot when I was in Bruges. The space for work is small but when on vacation most would not mind. The staff was helpful with directions, getting taxis for me, etc.

We had an odd room that was hard to find but when we did it was nice.

Had to ask 3 times for someone to look at heater. The staff were not customer helpful. Maintenance were to come to my room. No one came. No knock on my door. Had the tv on and you could hear it if you were outside the door. I was told he did not come because I had the sign on the door that I did not need the room cleaned.
No amenities to speak of.
When checking in no one looked at me, or said we’ll be right with you, nothing for approximately 6 minutes.
Mold should be cleaned in shower.
Not even 3 star.

Hotel is ideally placed for Trip to Bruges. It is in walking distance of most of the sights, and is only a few hundred metres from the market square, with all its cafes and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choice, and regularly refreshed so nothing ran out. I would happily go back

Overall a nice hotel. Very well situated within easy walking distance of everything and good transport links. Nice Starbucks stand addition in reception. Soundproofing between rooms however is not great so bring earplugs. Would recommend for location alone.

Great location, but terribly uncomfortable beds, i had a twin room. Mattress poor, and pillows were like small cushions filled with rocks. Take your own pillow to avoid cricked neck! Poor quality breakfast. Kettle in room would make all the difference. I have stayed here many times over the years, but I think that will be my last stay. I had 2 nights and just couldn't sleep due to the bed. Sorry Martins, it's all well and good having a great location, and nicely decorated rooms but if you can't sleep, or provide pillows not cushions, people will vote with their feet!

Breakfast was good with a nice variety worth the purchase especially if you get going early i. The day since Europe tends to have a slower start compared to North America. The room was clean with an air conditioning unit thst worked well. There is no fridge which is a bit of a bummer. Otherwise property was clean and can’t beat the location!

Unfortunately there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room which was very disappointing. There was a machine in the foyer that you had to pay for which I thought was cheeky. Furthermore it stopped working!
Also our tv had no internet so no Netflix 🙁

Very handy for the centre of Bruges.
Nice room but a little small.
Unfortunately no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room although there is a Starbucks machine in the lobby but you have to pay for the drinks.
All staff were lovely and helpful, especially the cleaning staff.
Expensive parking at the hotel (double that of the other underground long stay hotels) but staff were happy to point us in the direction of the nearest underground car park which was 5 mins walk away.
Nice selection of breakfast items.

This hotel was right in the middle of town. Surprisingly it got fairly quiet at night and being centrally located made it a great spot to go on walks from in the morning and evening after the crowds died out from day trippers. I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat.

I can’t say good things about Martin’s Brugge! The staff was absolutely lovely. Hotel was very clean and it was nice to have the bar available.
There is no coffee in the rooms, but if you ask the front desk, they will give you a tea kettle to use. There is coffee available for purchase downstairs. The location is perfect very quiet yet central to everything. Highly recommend staying here!

Rooms very clean, staff friendly and breakfast was plentiful. Beverages available in foyer, use automated till system using card. Didn’t notice if you could use cash.
Room became unbearably hot in early hours so had to open windows but then noise from outside was annoying. Apart from that, we would stay again, but be more prepared.
Pillows in rooms were cushion size. (Unsure if that’s the norm)

Overall this is a great hotel. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and accommodated 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom needed help though. The door did not lock, the shower only had half a glass door, causing water from the shower to spray out on to the floor. There was very minimal counter space and hand towels were hung low so not very accessible. The bathtub is also taller than normal, causing us to trip and slip on the wet floor when getting out. Very hazardous bathroom.

Room was clean and cute. Breakfast food was good. We used parking which was expensive (€35 for one night) but as we drove from Amsterdam was a necessity. Underground parking which was secure, safe and well lit. Experience with check in, check out, questions were pretty average - no one seemed particularly eager to assist. Overall experience was fine though.

A few steps from the main square and shopping streets. Also river cruise just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants to choose from . Just be aware that almost all meals come with chips/fries and vegetables and potatoes are almost impossible to find.

Non stop construction going on all day, had to leave the hotel all day because of the noise. The rooms are very hot, no way to get ventilation in besides opening the windows. You open the windows and so much noise comes in.
