A very warm welcome from the host, Cynthia. A beautifully renovated 17th century building in a central location. Easily reachable on foot from the train station and close to Brugge’s main attractions. A lovely bedroom with a great shower and a self service breakfast buffet was quite adequate and tasty. Will definitely recommend.

The room was lovely and bedding very comfy and clean overall. Breakfast was nice and we did thoroughly enjoy complimentary coffee throughout our stay. However there were a number of items \"not working\", many plugs, the heating, and the fireplace. We needed parking and was told by a staff who scribbled some directions for GPS in French/Dutch that we had to park in a underground parking lot which we had to make a big circle round-a-bout (2km !!) surrounding the old Town Square in order to get into the lot itself. Long story short, the search for the underground parking took us almost an hour (fortunately the owner was around and he clarified his staff's instructions) to figure where the parking lot was ultimately located - which did not please us at all, after a long day of driving. My feedback to the hotel would be, it would be helpful to future guests to print out information on where to park, as well in general, have more signage in the property. Thank you.

Beautiful old property over looking the Cathedral. We had the cathedral room which was large and decorated in character with the old building but also incorporated new technology such as soft start and close lighting. We also had use of a lounge area downstairs. Property was very central with all main attractions being walking distance. Helpful and friendly owners.

Fabulous location, set back from the main street, a short walk from the market, right opposite the cathedral. Beautiful looking property, with lots of character. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a view over rooftops at the back. Everything was lovely and clean. Breakfast was a nice buffet breakfast, and our table for 4 was set up in the back lounge, which was great - nice and private. Even has a lift - great instead of navigating the narrow steps with a big case! Would recommend this property

This is delightful B and B. Located directly across from the cathedral in Bruge. Centrally located and short walk from everywhere in the town. The room was large and the bed was great. The bathroom and shower were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful beginning with eggs, sausage and tomatoes and ending with pastries. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station. We warned if you have a four wheeled bag, you can only use two wheels on the old brick side walks with the possibility of breaking a wheel.

We (family of four) had a lovely, light and spacious family suite in this beautiful old building. The room was clean and comfortable, and great value for the amount of space you get. We had access to a fridge downstairs in one of the breakfast rooms as well as free tea and coffee throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and it felt like a home from home. A very special place

I loved this B and B! It is charming and beautifully decorated. I loved the old world feel. The room was well appointed yet felt like you were in another time period. The breakfast was lovely and in an old farmhouse style dining room. I would definitely return and urge others to stay. The only negative is the lack of air conditioning but I was there on one of the hottest days ever recorded but the room stayed pretty cool and we were fine with the fan. I am sure any regular day would be lovely and cool.

9.5, should and could be a 10!

The place is lovely, 5 minutes walk from the market square, but far enough away to get a good night’s sleep. The decor is definitely shabby chic, but I liked that. The room we stayed in was very large. I had hoped to be in one of the rooms with beams - next time. There is an underground car Park about 400 metres away that charges €9 for 24 hours. There are 2 small complaints from me that makes the place a 9-9.5, when it could so easily be a 10. Firstly, there’s no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (there is in the communal breakfast room and it is available most of the day), but no milk. Secondly, breakfast is buffet style at 1 large table. Once the food is out, it is not replenished and if you are not straight down to breakfast, you could be disappointed. Other than that, it’s divine.

Very high-end accommodations! Coffee always available (and some treats!). The location was excellent and the owners was bery pleasant and helpful. We rented bikes from them at a much better rate than at a regular bike rental shop. We had a blast on the bikes and got to see a lot more of the town. Bruges is VERY beautiful!!!

We had a gorgeous room on the top floor. The shower was lovely. The addition of a Sonos speaker and iPad was unexpected but useful when relaxing before heading out to some of the local bars and restaurants. The hotel was very quaint and comfortable with a lovely old feel to it with the beams in the bedroom, but modern cons around the place like the Sonos sound system. The towels need to be bigger and more fluffy and there needs to be a cupboard in the bedroom to hang clothes. Apart from that everything else was excellent with a lovely breakfast each day with fresh croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice and the eggs with streaky bacon. We would definitely stay here again as it was right in the city centre, but still very quiet and only 5 minutes walk from the market where the Christmas Market is mainly based.

Wonderful stay in Bruges.

We stayed two nights in the 'Monseigneur' Room in the Saint-Sauveur Bruges B&B. The hotel and room were absolutely charming. The hotel is right next to a Church, with wonderful bells, in the heart of Bruges. The breakfast was wonderful. The owners were kind enough to prepare us a basket of breakfast items the night before, because we had to leave Sunday morning before breakfast is normally served. Our stay at the Saint-Sauveur Bruges B&B made our visit to Bruges comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.

This room looks so interesting, with its exposed beams - it really is very attractive (but watch your head!). The breakfast each morning was good, including some really delicious croissants. The stairs were a bit steep, but there is a lift available too.
Our only problem with this location was that the room had a faint odour that was unpleasant. Aside from this one issue, we truly enjoyed our stay at this B &B.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The location was ideal (walking distance to all the main attractions inc. bars & restaurants), the room was tidy and fit for purpose, the breakfast was delicious, but the main selling point of this B&B was the staff. We arrived earlier than our scheduled check in time, however the owner came to meet us and accommodated our early arrival perfectly. Throughout our stay they were helpful and friendly, and ensured that our stay was of the upmost comfort. If we return to Bruges in the future, then we will 100% choose to stay at the Saint-Sauveur again.

the b&b was nice but there is a few improvements they could make. The shower door didn't close properly so water went everywhere when you showered and the shower continuously dripped water for a while when you turned the shower off, plus there was mould all at the bottom of the shower too. The beds were very soft so hurt my back and the iPad mini wasn't in the room when we arrived and there was never any staff around to ask questions or to sort things out.

Lovely B&B for a weekend in Bruges

The hotel is a lovely 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk then into the centre of Bruges. Hotel rooms are like suites. Big comfortable bed, self standing bath, walk in shower, TV, stereo etc. Breakfast was perfect, bacon and eggs, various breads, croissants, tea, coffee, fruit, yogurts etc. The hotel has a lift as well. We would certainly recommend the hotel.

This property was lovely. Very old and charming. The room was huge! Big bathtub, shower, fireplace. The location is safe and beautiful. The church does not ring the bells during sleeping hours. We live that the windows open for fresh air. The included breakfast is good. The staff is helpful and attentive (but not on site all the time).
The only improvement could be made by accompanying guests to the rooms and explaining how everything works. The tv went off while watching. The fireplace is controlled by a remote control that is not easily figured out. The shades rise and fall by a wall switch (still don't know how we did it). The lights switches are not clear. Plus the iPad and speaker needed a password. All relatively small, but it should be explained to guests. And, better pillows would be nice.
I would recommend this property if you're staying in Brugge.

Very good stay and lovely accommodations. Perfect location to explore the city center. The Monseigneur room was very nice, spacious with high ceilings, newly renovated bathroom with good water pressure. Bed was a bit small but fine. Breakfast was excellent, very nice selection. Just had a croissant with strawberry rhubarb jam which was delicious!! The couple who was in charge around breakfast time was very kind. The only issue I had was with the girl who was there during check-in time in the afternoon. Found her rude, and she wouldn't let me into the building when I got separated from my friend who had the key. Aside from her, this property was excellent!

All the reviews I have read rate this B+B highly. Who am I to disagree? It was wonderful. We arrived before10 am, having just completed a cycling tour were given the key to our room and told our luggage would be waiting there for us after 2pm.
The building felt like the interiors in Vermeer paintings. There was a delightful breakfast room (note, freshly squeezed orange juice, warm croissants and scrambled egg and bacon) and a beautiful sitting room with a courtyard garden outlook. The lift was efficient and to attic style room very spacious. It was right in the centre of the historic precinct. It is possible to walk to the station but it takes about 25 minutes and it is wise to take the main road that runs past the new concert hall to avoid the ubiquitous cobble stones.

Really lovely hotel only minutes from everywhere!

Great hotel, laid back with lovely owners. You are left to your own devices, however there is a number to call if you need anything. The room was really unique, in the rafters with the stripped beams and joists.

The breakfast was a good continental selection with freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants and pain au raisin, plus cold meats, fruit and yoghurt. There was also fresh bread, scrambled egg and bacon too.

The coffee machine was always on as well as a kettle and selection of teas. It was a little awkward to refill the kettle as sometimes the water was empty, a trip up in the lift back to your room to fill it. There was no tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel is situated next to Saint Salvators Cathedral, therefore the bell ringing (which is not on a par with the melodies heard at the Belfry) can be very loud. This was not a problem for us.

The owners were very welcoming and offered us some advice on a very laid back and cheap place to eat, Chez Vincent, just the other side of the Cathedral, which had the best frites we tasted and a really good price too!

The best in Bruges!

Fantastic place, very comfortable and unique. Excellent location in Bruges. Great service from staff. I normally do not do b&b's but this was exceptional.

i have stayed in older buildings like this before

a bit expensive, but was in centre of tourist attractions. very awkward to get to by car, parking was about 300m away in under ground car park but was very affordable. we didn't use the car for 2 days.

Family vacation in Bruges

Our family enjoyed our stay at Saint-Sauveur B&B. It is a very nice B&B with wonderful characters. It's location is central. We booked two rooms on the top floor. Our whole family including our two college age children enjoyed a nice stay. Will definitely recommend to friends and will love to stay here again if visiting Bruges.

Nice B&B, close to Bruges markets & centre

Great B&B with only a handful of rooms, there is a nice breakfast area with an adequate spread of food and drink, there is a large salon for relaxing and an outdoor terrace, which was lovely in summer.

We stayed in the Monseigneur room, which although doesn't give on the front or rear, was bright enough, large in size and had a nice bathroom. The rooms come with an I-pad music system which is nice for unwinding in the evenings. We came to Bruges during a hot week, and we're disappointed that the room didn't come with air conditioning, we requested a fan which solved the issue. The only issues were with the bathroom, the toilet could do with a more powerful flush, also due to the nature of the property running water could sometimes be heard through the walls.

The owners are accommodating and the B&B provides a relatively cheap bike hire option, please note that the room does not come with a safe,

Amazing b&b in a great area

Definitely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. We had the two attic rooms which were beautiful. Its an old building and it retains its historical integrity but its also done in a modern way and everything is comfortable and well done. The rooms are large and beds excellent. The breakfasts are great and plentiful and the service is very friendly and first class. Can not fault anything about our stay in any way and great value too. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have the best possible stay in Bruges.

Elegant and charming

Centrally located and very comfortable B&B. Room was spacious with large bathroom and wonderful shower with great water pressure! Breakfast was deliscious and they even left food and our place settings out for us on a morning we overslept. Was such a thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciated. We can't wait to come back!

Comfortable and central.

Beautifully renovated and furnished classic old building with just a handful of rooms within walking distance of every point of interest. Tremendous breakfast. The elevator was a bonus.

Excellent B&B in an ideal central location

This B&B is a clean, chic, well-located gem in central Bruges. The staff were helpful and hospitable, the beds really comfortable and the breakfast was great too. I'd highly recommend staying here.
