Nice hotel, friendly staff, outside of town with countryside feel.

Good breakfast (standard basic Italian with limited hot options scrambled eggs/bacon/sausage), nice pools although outside pool not heated/very cold despite 30oC outside temperature and indoor pool too hot..

Didn’t eat at hotel resto as expensive, Binario 14 short walk outside of hotel, fantastic little restaurant, great value, food and service. Also decent Gelato place opposite hotel and a Maccy D’s for emergencies! Otherwise Piccadilly restaurant is a short drive with great menu and gin selection. Modena is 20min drive. Large supermarket with petrol station 5min drive (Conad), budget supermarket Eurospin over the road.

Only real negative is need to fumigate outside pool area as received multiple inspect bites after using sunbeds for 5mins (far side of pool). Also sofa bed has a large exposed screw at head end which had to be wrapped in a towel for safety reasons!

The hotel is really nice, The breakfast is excellent and the pool is enjoyable. The water temperature is excellent and the steam room was also very nice. Thumbs up.
But: the beds are awful. They are so hard and uncomfortable, you can feel the inside of the mattress. Please, buy some toppers!!!

It was all fine until I went to the pool, one of the main reason I choose that hotel so my 4 years old son could swim for 30 minutes in the morning....but they told me the day of the check out it;s not included so they asked me 45 Euro...for an hotel that cost 100 per night....ridiculous.
At the end the receptionist was nice and she helped us but remember this if you book it.
Overall was ok.

This property is located in a pretty secluded area of Modena which means it is very quiet but also hard to access by public transportation especially on the weekends (be prepared to walk to the bus stop approximately 2 km). The property is very clean and new or newly renovated. The rooms and bathroom are very large and comfy. Also had a access to a large balcony. This facility has access to a nice pool area next door but for a place that does not allow you to bring food to the pool they do not offer anything great to eat. Luckily there is a discount grocery store across the street. I did find that this pool area like a Caribbean resort in a way. Music playing, lots of people, a little bar area. You get told where your allowed to have a free lounger which I did not appreciate at all how I was told where to sit and also it does not go un-noticed that you only give the hotel loungers in the shade which isn't very nice at all. I found that the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful and the staff at the pool to be hit or miss whether they were moody and rude or not. The pool area needs work it looks sloppy and unkept, weeds growing everywhere. Water was murky. No issues with our stay at all. It was nice to get free water and toiletries everyday replenished. The restaurant next door is excellent, I did find it a little pricey but the food was delicious! Overall an excellent place to stay if you do not mind being out of the way a bit or have access to a car.

Good but could do better!

It was fine - nice helpful girls on reception, comfy bed, nice outdoor space with the room. Pool and gym ok. Used both. My only gripe was I booked the room with kitchen facilities and it was completely bare. You had to pay extra for the contents. What a ridiculous idea….disappointing.

I should have known not to stay at this hotel from the beginning. I asked if they could provide a car service to pick up my kids and me from the train station they said no. Once I got to the train station it took about 3 hours for us to get a taxi to the hotel because we were in the middle of nowhere. Then we finally get to the hotel and the bathroom had huge ants crawling all over the bathroom vanity, sink, walls, toilet and shower. It was disgusting and when brought to the hotel staffs attention they’re solution was to have housekeeping come kill the ants. To me this was very rude and disgusting. They did nothing to try and make me feel better about my stay. I will never stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Motel or Hotel?

It was a very comfortable and spacious room, but a bit on the pricey side. We opted for half board, but on entering the restaurant and choosing a meal we were told of the restrictions of half board, which was a bit embarrassing. The food however was very nice. Breakfast also was very good. Our room was not part of the main hotel building, more like a motel room. The restaurant was a walk across from the hotel and room, it was raining the night we were there and our feet got wet in the small puddles accumulating on the floor in both directions.

We had 3 rooms. 2 rooms excellent. However 1 room, the shower was not draining and the fridge was not working. The lobby staff was helpful in trying to find another fridge from another room, but they were mounted. We were there 2 nights, however maintenance staff still had not fixed it before our second night. So shower was unpleasant as could not shower for more than 30sec before it would about overflow the shallow shower basin. And could not keep drink cold in fridge when outside we had high 30's degrees.
The pool area gets very busy with locals who come for the day.

How funny, we were in Modena. Home of Ferrari. So we were kind of expecting top notch lodging. However, the hotel just felt old and tired. The shower was tiny (even for European standards), overall look was old and out of date; the partner restaurant was really low-end. So, it was a mistake staying here.

Good place to stay if you have a car or are happy to stay and use the facilities of the hotel. Not suitable if you have no transport and want to spend your time in the town. Taxis take about 15 mins to get to the town and cost around €20. The hotel can get taxis into the town but it is extremely difficult to get return taxis and we decided it was too risky after the first evening to venture into town and be sure to be able to get a taxi back as early as 10pm. Having said that the restaurant next door is very good, it’s just that we had hoped to spend the evenings in town. I should add that we had originally booked accommodation in town but we found out they had double booked us 36 hours before arrival and all the in town accommodation was fully booked. I’m sure this hotel is a great choice if it meets your needs, it just didn’t meet ours.

Great property with fantastic facility. Family friendly. Pet are allowed in the rooms but not in the garden or near the swimming pool areas.
Although we have VIP status, free drink, the hotel did not offered one and we had to pay for our own drinks. Overall good stay!

Lovely hotel, very clean throughout. We had a suite (for 4) which was well set up for a family of 4 with plenty of room and a private terrace/garden area. Much more effective air conditioning in room than is the norm. Good small indoor pool and large outdoor pool with pool bar, kids pool and jacuzzi. Every member of staff could not have been more helpful - service brilliant. Adjoining restaurant served lovely Italian food (plus the hotel breakfast) and there is a great pizzeria in walking distance. Easy access to the Ferrari and Lamborghini museums and to Modena and Bologna. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Felt we got a great hotel for our money.

1. Room is very small, no slippers, very simple inside. Pool is so small. I wonder why this is called a resort??!! It's more like Motel!!! But the price I paid was MORE than other real resorts I have stayed with
2. Maid took away the electricity card when I went back to the room at midnight after long day's work. So I couldn't turn the lights on in the room and had to walk all the way to the front desk and ask them to give me the electricity card back. What the H***!!! I was so mad.
3. Room phone didn't work. Can't even make a phone call to the front desk. Had to walk all the way (it's a long way) to front desk for every little thing! I let the front desk know the phone problem but was never fixed in the many days I stayed there.
4. Told the front desk to call a taxi for me in the morning, then told them to change the time (2 hours later for the taxi). But they forgot to change the time! Taxi driver came on the old time....

The hotel was wonderful in all ways. The service was very friendly, the rooms were large (we had a family room for 4 and had two separate bedrooms). The hotel area with the two pools was very nice and the children pool was fantastic. Even our 3-year-old could reach the pool floor. There was also a really nice pool indoors. There was a great playroom for the kids. They absolutely loved it. A really big room. There was also a small play corner in the breakfast area with special treats for the kids. The breakfast was 4 euros extra, but really worth the money! I really can recommend this hotel and will definitely be back when I'm around the area.

We booked this hotel for several reasons. First was because we were attending a rugby match in Parma on New Year's Eve. Also, our son is a huge motor racing fan and it's very close to the Ferrari Museum at Maranello. Because of flight delays we arrived at 2am but found the hotel very easily. The fact it was covered in festive lights did make it more noticeable and welcoming at that time in the morning. We stayed in room 110 which is a family suite with kitchenette. The suite was quite large & immaculate with more than enough wardrobe space.. It had a sofa bed in the living area and a super-kingsize in the bedroom.Both rooms had a TV cunningly disguised as mirrors. Only one English language channel but we don't go on holiday to watch TV. The bathroom was large with WC, shower, washbasin, bidet and mirrors.The kitchenette is separated from the living area by a glass sliding door, It contains a sink, hob and lots of cupboard space but no crockery, cutlery or pans. This didn't bother us as there are enough restaurants within a short walk/drive and a supermarket nearby. We hadn't booked breakfast but this was available for a very reasonable 4 euros/person. The hot selection was frankfurter, scrambled egg & bacon. There were also cereals, fruit salad, croissants, cheeses, cold meats and a juicing machine.

There is a small pool which is very nice and ideal for families to chill out. There is a small gym area and Turkish bath but we didn't use these.

Great buffet breakfast options, good selection of local produce too. Good location for exploring the area as not located in the centre of town, so easy to get around to other towns, etc.

Service from all the front desk hotel staff was fantastic during our 2 night stay. They went out of their way to help. One example - we had to leave at 6am to catch a flight c 200km away, and the nighttime attendant, though not asked for by us, had bottles of water ready to give us at no charge for our journey.

We made a stop over in the hotel on the road to Florence.
We went to a nice small mexican restaurant the VERACRUZ we spotted on TripAdvisor, worth the visit but it is about 15 mn form the hotel. The location is good if you plan to visit the Ferrari factory in Maranello which is 5 mn away.

Had a ground room floor and the door led to outside wasn't sealed properly letting bugs in the room which was unpleasant. The rest of the room was great and the service as great as well. 3 pools to choose from and its own bar outside.

Overall this hotel suited our needs.

However, we would say that the huge number of children at the hotel was not as we had expected. We didn't expect a kids' holiday camp ... we were expecting a Hotel.

The lack of a lift was not expected... when you are lugging large suitcases about, it was disappointing to find that a lift did not exist. It wouldn't cost much to put on in.

The first room we were shown was rejected on the basis of the awful smell of cigarette smoke - However, the receptionist (who showed us the room) very quickly realised the problem and arranged for an alternative room.

The room itself was comfortable, with nice fixtures & fittings. The breakfast was good and plentiful.

The hotel is super nice, huge room, comfy bed, has a big balcony in the room and seating room too. The reception tall guy was so nice to give us a bigger room than we booked, it was a Sunday night we checked in, all restaurants and supermarkets are closed, the guy gave us clear instruction of where to grab food and when we came back, he was so nice to offer us some snacks in their bar. Re location, it is a MUST to drive in Modena and the hotel.

Nice room and hotel, but a bit out of the way

We were quite surprised and pleased that our comfort room was more like an apartment with large living room, bedroom and bathroom. The facilities at the hotel were good, including the pool area, which included a bar. The floor of our room was very dirty and sticky and we couldn't walk around with bare feet.
There are a few restaurants near by and a couple of supermarkets.
The hotel is about 10 kilometres from Modena with some public transport, but a car is needed as the trains and buses are infrequent and stop running quite early. It costs about 20 euros for a taxi from Modena to the hotel.

The hotel was brilliant, the rooms were really nice and very clean, the staff very friendly and the pool area and bar were superb. The hotel is not closely located to any town centre conveniences, that is probably the only downside. If you can live with that, then everything else about the hotel is just the best you can get for that price. Parking is free and there is a good Argentine restaurant next door. We stayed at a ground floor family suite unit. It's spacious and comfortable, complete with a kitchen, a big private garden, and lots of storage. Wifi connection strong was reliable, unlike many other hotels we had stayed. Breakfast was full of choices and catering staff are full of attention. It's evidently a well managed mid-priced hotel that is suitable for families. You won't find this level of comfort in the normal city centre hotels. Definitely a memorable experience and we love it!

Beautiful Place, but a Little \"Uptight\"

The hotel is really beautiful and has excellent grounds and swimming pools. I booked this hotel, despite it being quite expensive, just for the pools as it was hot in Italy. The pool was like ice water outside, which didn't feel too bad given the heat, but the lifeguard stood and just stared at me as I used the outdoor shower (it felt like she was checking to see if I'd showered ENOUGH) and then told me to remove my glasses to go into the pool. I cannot see well at all without my glasses, and we had a little stand-off. I told her that the glasses have PLASTIC lenses and she finally relented. But I had to laugh seeing others in the pool with sunglasses on and kids and adults being allowed to dive off into a 5 foot deep pool with seemingly no issue. Anyway... the room was very comfortable and the hotel is great if you want a \"splurge\".

My husband was on business in Modena. So I spent 3 days with my 3 young children at the hotel. The service was EXCELLENT, with special attention given to the children. It was so helpful to have a few toys and snacks for the kids waiting in our room after our 40hr journey to Italy. The staff also went out of their way to organise cultural trips for us - we went to Ferarri, a cheese factory etc. The room was very spacious and well decorated and the buffet breakfast was superb. It is a shame they don't offer lunch and dinner as the quality of food at breakfast was great. It is only a short drive into the heart of Modena.

Immaculate and comfortable!

Only stayed in this hotel for one night as we moved up to Lake Garda the next day. Apart from the fact that the air-con in the bedroom didn't work the best and that the outdoor pool wasn't yet open (even though it was May and 28 degrees celcius!!) I cannot fault this hotel. It was beautifully kept inside and out and the breakfast was great. Hotel is however a little hard to find even with a sat-nav..

Fint rom med god plass. God seng, litt kaldt på rommet, spesielt på gulvet. Måtte be om ny kaffekopp/drikkeglass samt vann av renholder, men de var smilende og blide. Meget bra renhold. Fint lite basseng og bassengområde, ok treningsrom.
Frokosten serveres i naborestauranten, helt greit utvalg, men måtte be om glutenfritt brød. Hyggelig personale både i resepsjon og i restaurant.

주차공간 때문에 고른 곳이었는데, 2층 건물에 엘레베이터가 없어요.
방음이 약해서 옆방 코고는 소리 다 들리고, 조식은 가격대비 부실합니다.
리모델링해서 깨끗한데 욕실 샤워헤드는 너무 더러웠고 분리가 안되서 샤워필터는 못썼네요.
목조 건물이라 그런가, 거미와 바퀴벌레도 방문을 들락날락 합니다...

Be aware of pool access

Be aware!! If you book this hotel make sure you reserve the pool if you want to use this on the departure day. The pool is not part of the hotel and booked with locals. Its included the day to arrive and for the stay but not on departure. When we arrived the pool was fully booked for our departure day. Check out is already at 10, thats when the pool opens.

Fair for et par dage

Super fin service og særligt er poolområdet over forventning. Sengen var en smule hård til vores smag og værelset lugtede af røg - selvom vi var ikke-rygere.
Ikke desto mindre en fin oplevelse til prisen og det ligger i god afstand mellem både Maranello og Modena
