One massive problem: the pictures do not match with what you get. It is my understanding that CDH went through refurbishment on superior rooms. I got an economy room and the picture of the room looks modern which my room was not, excluding the mattress (thanks god).
One significant problem as well: the bath towels were like from WWII. Ok, my room is economy and I ll get the furniture of my grandmother. Fine. But how much does a bath towel set cost? 10€? 20€. And then buy it new ones every other year!

I'm giving this hotel 3 stars because the staff was fantastic. Our room was pretty dirty. Cobwebs were prominent throughout and floors were gritty. I'm glad I had socks to wear after showering. The water in our shower wouldn't drain the first night and there was water leaking from the base of the sink, creating puddles of water on the tile floor (imagine the surprise to walk onto a wet floor in the middle of the night). That being said, staff tood care of of this promptly the next day and all was well for showers the second evening! If I were to stay in Modena again, I would probably choose something in the city center. If you have a car, this location is fine. We relied on the public bus system.

This was a very comfortable, quiet, clean place to stay. The property and room are generally in good condition though a tad bit past their prime, but not to any degree that impacts one's stay. There is plenty of parking and it is very easy to get to the city center on public transport (and in the city center parking and driving would be very challenging). There are several nearby restaurants and a large supermarket that is a very short walk away. The room has a fridge so you can store refridgeratables. No coffee maker in the room.

We did not stay here, I had tried canceling the reservation each before our arrival and right after the reservation was made. They said I could cancel up till two days before, but they wouldn’t and I’m still trying to have this reservation canceled and not charged to my account!

Terrible

The room are WAY outdated even if they say that has been renovated. Totally uncomfortable bed. Shower is 1foot by foot, impossible to bend and wash your legs. Noisy. Bar and restaurant open Monday through Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. Rats running in outside area. List goes on and on. Wonderful people in a terrible hotel

Old furniture and no carpet rooms were nice, the hand towel bar in our bathroom fell off and there was only a single working plug. The staff were super nice and very helpful with everything. Big windows that open and brought in fresh air were really nice. Elevators were super small but very quiet and smooth.

Dated out of the way hotel

Staff are very helpful here. Hotel is a bit out of the way for anything. The rooms are dated and tired, the bathroom was especially poor. Acceptable in the 80s maybe but not in 2022. Breakfast is okay, sometimes there is a shortage of hot food. The moon has more atmosphere than the bar.

I've stayed at other CDH properties which were very nice and pleasant. This CDH was very outdated and could use a facelift.

Petit hotel with a lot of smiles

It was hard to find with goodle öaps but the hotel is on the main road. The location is a bit outside of central zone but there are bus stops and supermarkets nearby. I had an amazing time, hotel was clean and breakfast was delicious enough. I had a nice conversation with Mrs. Marina at the reception and Im thankful for all the help. I recommend it to anyone who needs a petit hotel with a lot of smiles.

La gentilissima receptionist è stata molto gentile. Alla nostra richiesta di avere una camera silenziosa, ci ha effettuato un upgrade gratuito spostandoci nell'ala più silenziosa della struttura. Veramente gentile. La camera assegnata era confortevole, solo bisognosa di una moderata ristrutturazione per il box doccia e il palchetto. Acqua nel frigo gratuita! Ok para una parada de descanso

Está bien como parada para dormir. Importante no llegar tarde ya que no respetan el horario del restaurante y si no hay clientes cierran antes.
La puerta de la habitación no se podía cerrar desde afuera. El técnico paso a arreglarlo y al finalizar no volvió a dejar el no disturbar como había dejado la habitación.

Ich würde sagen \"Joa passt schon\" triffts ganz gut. Alles was man braucht ist da. Nichts überragendes aber es funktioniert und alles ist sauber.
Das Frühstück war ganz ok. Von der Lage ist das Hotel nicht ganz ideal, weil es zum gehen ins Zentrum etwas zu weit ist. Ich habe mir damit geholfen einfach einen E Roller zu mieten.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
