I was very happy with the cleanliness of the property, helpfulness of staff, and the room was super cute and spacious. Looks aside, I was disappointed in my stay.

Room 339 does not have hot water. We ran the shower for 10+ minutes and it was as cold as hose water. The only way to get the water to heat up was by continuously running the tap, and even then it would turn ice cold the second the shower was turned on.

Sleep was difficult with uncomfortable thick and firm pillows, and you can hear traffic after 8AM.

We didn’t make use of the pool or attend breakfast.

At first glance, this hotel is excellent however these are important details that contribute to having an enjoyable stay.

The staff was very kind and helpful and the room was very spacious but the cleanliness and location left a lot to be desired. Parking was easy and spacious but there is not much around the hotel and our room was very dirty. The sheets were relatively clean but the mattress cover had yellow stains all over it, there was half of a used set of eyelashes on the carpet, there were black spots all over the inside of the shower curtain, there were small hairs stuck all over the walls and bathroom door, and there was sticky spots and stains on the counters. We also went down for breakfast at 840am (we thought it went from 630-930am) and it was already all cleaned up and closed down so the window for that is pretty small.

Check in was quick and easy. Jordan was very helpful and very nice ! Upon entering the elevator though we could smell the faint smell of marijuana and it was not the cleanest and quite worn down. The room was spacious and somewhat clean except for the hair that I found in the bed when we turned down the comforter. There is an outdoor pool (that we didn't use) and a barbeque area (that we didn't use). Twice we encountered a couple of people walking around the exterior of the building smoking marijuana but they did not interact or bother us. Breakfast was quite good sausage patties eggs, potatoes, pancakes, yogurts etc., that were quite good. After breakfast I took a walk around the pool area and noticed it had not been cleaned from the previous day night. Would I stay here again ? probably not but I was happy with the service, the staff was great and it was a good price for a one night stay. The hotel needs updating.

The fire alarm went off at 11;45 (no problem) but then there was zero communication about it. The worker never spoke to any of the guest nor was there an update. In the morning I went to take a shower and there was a zero hot water. When I went up to the front desk the worker told me that when the maintaince guy came in she would send him to our room. I asked what time she was unable to give me a time. I asked for another to shower in she refused me another room. I asked to speak with a manager and she was unavailable. I asked for a number she ran out of business cards. I left my number for the manager and I am still waiting. Side note: my daughter found a spider in the bathroom. The free breakfast was a dirty and messy, no one was restocking or cleaning. Obviously I will not be staying there again and will be contacting cooperate .

I loved this hotel. The only issue that could be addressed is the elevator area, which looks worn compared to the rest of the property. My king suite was huge, clean, nicely updated (carpet and floor areas, bathroom fixtures) and clean. The room temperature was perfect and the overnight was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Expedia did not tell me that daily housekeeping was not included. We needed to pickup towels, garbage bags etc.from front desk, and go drop garbage off at a.bin which was overflowing the first day. Housekeeping did not pick up used towels that we kept piling up outside our room till we vacated even though front desk said they would many times.

Worked for 5 adults and 1 child in one suite, rooms were small but well organized.

Front desk was very courteous.

Breakfast could have been better with more fruit choices.

Overall a very good stay.

Was not told anywhere on their website that this is a “budget friendly”hotel and as such no housekeeping for a 3 night stay. Had to go down first night to get shower gel and remote for tv. There was also a dirty washcloth hanging from shower curtain and walls in bathroom where dirty. Then after 2nd night asked about housekeeping - that’s when I was told they would not come. I was able to get more towels and an extra trash bag but had to take my trash down to first floor.

The hotel is located in a more industrial region. You need to drive out about 10 minutes to the closest Meijer. It is a quiet place and a place to focus on your work or relax.

We showed up during an emergency water outage and the room was not quite ready; however they were determined to make it right without and even asking and just upgraded to suite. So, double review in one lol
The suite is fully equipped with a kitchen just bring the food.

Staff was absolutely wonderful, one of the nicest staffs I have been around at a hotel and we travel as a family quite a bit, the only negatives for me is there was a used wash rag that was missed in the bathroom, the shower curtain was dirty and the bed was a little firm. The bed you could tell was new but from a personal preference it was a little firm is all. Other than that the breakfast was amazing and everything else was great.

The place looks nice, then you go into the room. The tiles are broke and there is alot of wear. The sink did not have a stopper so you can see the garbage disposal. Someone could get hurt if the rubber gasket is not put back on there. For the price it was a great find.

We booked this hotel since it was listed as having:
1. Two king size beds - True
2. Indoor swimming pool - false. The person at the front desk was surprised why it showed up as indoor when it was an outdoor pool and was closed.
3. Made to order breakfast - false, all they had was sugar cereal, bread, mini pancakes and eggs. The person in the kitchen gave a lot of attitude when I requested to have the pancake batter refilled. They didn’t have fresh oatmeal or waffles, this is no way “Made to order breakfast”
4. In-room phone - did not work at all. When we asked the front desk, they said they’ll send someone to fix it but did not. Other guests complained the same issue.
5. No default housekeeping - all hotels have room housekeeping, but here you have to ask for it which was new to us, which we found out when our beds were not made and room was not cleaned.

Hotel was a maze of hallways! I felt like a rat in a maze!! Never seen anything like it and really would never want to stay in this hotel again. But, on the positive side, the room was outfitted with a complete kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, silver, utensils, etc. and a bar height table and chairs. On the negative side, the deodorizer used in the room (apparently to cover up a lingering bad smell) was way beyond overwhelming. The window was wide open when we arrived to the room even though it was in the 20s and snowing outside. We had asked for a room on the quiet side of the hotel but given the busy street side so we had to switch rooms. The next room was slightly better but still had the smell of cleaning fluids or carpet deodorant. Sorry to say that it was not a great experience or relaxing environment. Breakfast was not the greatest either. Skip this one if you can.

The building needed some TLC. I noticed immediately when we approached the front door that the building wouldn’t be updated. From far away it looks fine. But the whole building needs to be repainted, wiped down, etc. The actual bones of the building are good and the large suite room was set up nicely for our family of 4. It just felt outdated so now I understand why it was such a deal on the booking site. So more of a personal preference type of thing. The room was clean, I will say. The front desk staff was super friendly as well. The breakfast was not good but that’s ok, it’s free. Other guests were smoking marijuana close to our room but that isn’t the fault of the hotel or staff. Smell went away quickly.

Our room's thermostat was broken, it was 82 degrees the first night. The maintenance guy came and shot it off, said that he'd have to order a new one - it never came. Instead of taking one from another room, WE had to move rooms - complete inconvenience! The room we were moved to had no soap in the dispensers, it was filthy, there were nails coming up in the kitchen flooring, there was no silverware, no corkscrew, one coffee cup for 5 of us! The hotel offered NO discount or anything - we were NOT happy and probably will not ever be going back as we were not compensated at all through Expedia or the hotel

Terrible. Smelly room that I asked to be cleaned in a 4 day stay and they didn't. Breakfast less than zero everything empty all the time, stale yesterday bread, weak coffee, dirty. The hotel is being used to house section eight and there's garbage outside doors in the hallway, people carrying on until all hours, they should not advertise as a normal business hotel because it's a mess.
