It was an older hotel remodeled, but I like those because the walls are actually thick enough so you don't hear everything around you. The pool was an older pool little wear on it but the water was warm and clean.
I like how they remodeled the bathrooms entirely with new bath tubs, toilets, shower curtain. A lot of hotels try and save the tubs and they look tired and old no matter what, but I appreciated the nice bathrooms and how they just did it all.

We had such a nice stay with a comfy bed, clean room and awesome river view.

Might have been a little short staffed and the front desk guy seemed stressed and uninformed about some local biz but we still had an excellent stay.

3 min walk to RIBCO ( re-open 2026) for a groovy good time listening to live tunes. 4 min walk from the QC Coffee and Pancake House. Best cinnamon roll pancakes EVER!

Spur of the moment choice because it worked out timing wise along my travel route. I liked the pictures, amenities, and the price so I took a chance and got lucky. Everything was fabulous. Staff was exceptionally nice everywhere from the front desk to the restaurant to the bar to the worker I shared the elevator ride with. Plenty of parking for a downtown location.

We had a problem first night. My daughter and I were staying there with my 12 yr old grandson for baseball all weekend. We got woken up at 3:38 am with someone unlocking our room. Thankfully we had security lock secured so he could not get in all of the way. My grandson & all of us were very scared and kept us up rest of night. This was totally unacceptable and could of been a very bad situation if we had not had the deadbolt locked. We feel like our stay should be compensated for. My grandson did not even want to stay the second night fearing that someone would try to get in our room again. This was a big mistake from the FD. This was not the man checking in. He probably lost his key and told the FD the wrong room number. His ID should have been checked and not just given the room number key that he thought he was in. He was drunk but kind when my
daughter continued to tell him that he was in the wrong room. This could of been a very bad situation and could of ended very badly.

When I checked in for a room with 1 king size bed I arrived to my room and the bed was unmade and there was a large amount of garbage. Clearly hasn’t been touched by house keeping. So I had to go back down to the lobby and had to have a room with 2 queen size beds because they didn’t have anymore king size available. Parking is also pretty terrible.

Nice place but issues with being charged

I enjoyed my stay here. The walk across the river to Woodmen ballpark was easy and fun and Steves old time bar across the street was a fun time.
My issue is that the hotel ended up charging me 3 different times for my room even after i had booked through Hotels.com.
The situation eventually got worked out but this was not a great situation and made me question the integrity of the hotel. Make sure to check your bank account after you stay here.

We had issues at check in because you guys ran out of available clean rooms even though we were checking in an hour after check in started. I was made to wait while he heard back from the cleaning staff. The guests behind me had to come back because they were given the wrong rooms and also had dirty rooms. We ended up offering our double room for their king to help them (and you guys since you overbooked your doubles) and ended up getting charged even more. Never told pricing was going to be different. Never told any information at all about what was open when as far as any facilities for the hotel (breakfast, pool, etc.)

I asked the desk manager to refund the $8 and they said I would need to contact Expedia because they paid the hotel. That's why I thought the hotel should refund the $8. Apparently the city is doing major infrastructure renovations: streets to the east are ripped up such that even walking is a muddy adventure. (Driving is out of the question.) It seems this work has an impact on the hotel itself: I was particularly distressed that the gym, one of the main reasons I chose the place, was unavailable during my stay. Most of my concerns are outside the control of the hotel, of course, but all? Hard to say.

Where's the runway?

Room and hotel were very nice, good staff. Only issue was there was a noise coming from the ventilation system in our room that sounded like a jet plane taking off about every 15 minutes. It was distracting. I've stayed at this property before and don't recall that being an issue before?

Also, the shower/tub was slick as glass and needed the towel in the bottom to keep it from becoming a slip hazard. My travelling companion did slip and bruised a knee when taking a shower.

I think I already responded that the soap dispenser needs to be nearer to the sink.
You need to make clear that the van needs to be RESERVED for a trip from the Inn to the airport. Free service is offered but hard to come by.

All staff were quite friendly. Room clean and reasonably new. AC thermostat didn't work right and had to turn it off as the room was too cool; it eventually got comfortable though. Room had Keurig coffee maker which would have been good except all the coffee and tea was decaf making it useless for me in the morning. Water pressure was exceedingly low. It took a long time to draw a glass of water at the sink and it took forever to rinse soap off in the shower. But for the horrible water pressure I'd have rated it better.

Amazing experience!

We stayed because my brother was at Trinty having a bypass. The staff was amazing. Karen in the restaurant and Mason at the front desk were so friendly. The rooms were clean and the amenities were very nice. They mad my mom feel welxome during a very stressful time. Very awesome staff.
