I think I got taken in by the ratings of others. I also have to say I was a bit desperate and it was a last minute booking. My room was comfortable but had no view. The building is very attractive on the outside but the renovations/modernisations are tired. It was clean but the towels were stained and I think had been pressed dry. The location was great. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant staff member I met and the breakfast food (included in the price) was limited and average.

Felt very safe and comfortable for 2 nights at Hotel Palace Heights. It is in an excellent location with easy access to food, drink, and Metro station. It's not quiet at night on a weekend, but nothing a white noise app couldn't cover. Dinner at Zaffron was incredible. Would absolutely recommend!

What a place

I didn't know who writes thise wonderful reviews. It is a rundown, dirty hotel. Rooms are filthy with paper (literally) thin walls. Stained towels, broken furniture, dust is everywhere, and this is the least of your concerns. Funky smell.
Breakfast is ok but very basic. I would not recommend anyone to stay there. I definetly won't next time I am in Delhi.

We stayed in Hotel Palace Heights for 2 nights in early December. The location is superb. You just get off the main entrance and all the shops, eating places etc. are there. Yet, the entrance is off the main Connaught Place so it is quiet. Excellent front desk staff - Mr. Wasim and the other gentleman were very helpful with calling us Ubers and giving us direction. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

Few months back I stayed in Radisson Blue which is just two blocks away. Compared to that this stay experience is not so good. Staffs are good and smiling. Breakfast is limited but tasty. But I disliked their blocking out the terrace which could have been the best place to chill.

Hotel Marine Plaza is such a little gem. This was my second time staying here, as a gift to myself. I love the tranquil relaxing sea view and the pretty art deco design of the interiors, including the incredible glass elevators. Breakfast is always impeccable, with views of the bay. Priyal was a great server who was kind enough to prepare hot water with honey for me when I told him that I had a cold. This is going above and beyond!

It just feels like this beautiful oasis to which you can escape from the hustle and bustle of Bombay.

The only thing that's missing compared to the last time I stayed there was the daily newspaper and 4pm snacks that used to be delivered to the room. I wish they would bring those back.

For what I paid, I am satisfied with my stay. It’s not a 5 star so I do see seams not cleaned around the shower stall. But overall I am ok with it. You pay for what you get in a good area called Connaught Place. I think there was not hot water one morning so I showered with cold water. Breakfast is a must to be included and it’s very good. Reception is ok and satisfactory. The safe is good to have in the room. Good surroundings with lots of shops and restaurants around just outside the hotel. So I am pleased with my stay.

This hotel is central to sights and restaurants

The position of the hotel is good for restaurants, and seeing the sights of Delhi. The front desk was very helpful with all our arrangements including organizing a UBER driver to the airport. The wait staff in the dining room were polite and went the extra mile to make our breakfast enjoyable. House keeping were also on the mark.
The only suggestion I have is for a choice of quilts, one light and one heavy. Also, more choices of non veg meals for the restaurant, Zaffran.

Loved it!

The best hotel on our 2 weeks trip to India, and sadly we only stayed one night. Great location, excellent breakfast (they can even fix glutenfree bread), clean and wonderful service. I loved the marble bathroom with complimentary stuff. A bit tiny for big suitcase, but with a big closet. Great location close to the railway station and shopping centre. Extra service minded staff.

Connaught Place Small Hotel

The convenient location of Palace Heights is the best part. It is great to be able to walk to shopping, restaurants, or general action in a minute. There is always something going on in Connaught Square.
The service at the hotel is outstanding. They bring you a welcome drink, breakfast is good, and they quickly arrange taxis which are well priced. I left my suitcase there for 2 weeks while I went to Nepal. Their personnel makes travel in India easy and pleasurable.
I stayed in the hotel on 3 occasions during my trip due to different travel arrangements. Palace Heights is a hotel that you can rely on.
An added plus is their restaurant which is especially pipular with well dressed Indians.

Great central location in Connaught Place with good access to public transportation. Also super easy to grab an Uber. The front desk and restaurant staff here are so friendly, service-oriented and helpful. That alone made my stay great.

The single dinner I had at the restaurant was delicious. My room was nice, reasonably spacious, great water pressure in the shower. I do agree with previous reviewers that the walls are not well-insulated so you can definitely hear your neighbors comings/goings. There was also a very loud cat that was hanging out somewhere outside all night. I just put in earplugs when I was trying to sleep which solved the noise issues.

Hotel located in busy Connaught Place. Breakfast was excellent, eggs prepared at request. Recommend the omelletes, fluffy and presented nicely with hash brown and baked tomato. Espresso beverages at breakfast which are a rarity in many hotels which only have Nescafe (not real coffee). Service in restaurant excellent at breakfast. Hotel amenities in room were good including a variety of teas, toiletries. Elevator was out of service. When asked about drivers and tour services, only one staff member was able to assist. Noisy and difficult to sleep at night.

The best located small boutique hotel in Delhi

We picked this small unpretentious hotel based on its location and Expedia ratings. It turned out to be the best hotel choice we have made during our 3 weeks stay in India. If you want 5 stars service in a 3 stars hotel right in the heart of Delhi then this is the perfect place for you. Restaurant staff and service staff went out of their way to make us feel special and make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Facilities are simple but adequate and like in most other hotels they could do with a bit of TLC. But unlike in most other hotels, facilities are squeaky clean. On our first stay we had a deluxe room, one of the biggest rooms in this tiny hotel and the double bed was very comfortable. Although we booked deluxe double rooms, one week later on our return to the hotel we were put up in the tiniest room you can imagine with two single beds, a room in which you could not possibly swing a cat around let alone get past your luggage. When I complained reception desk staff looked puzzled, re-checked our booking on their computer and we were swiftly moved into a deluxe room with two very uncomfortable single beds. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunch and dinner choices were numerous, delicious and reasonably priced. Restaurant staff are highly professional and simply fabulous, they provided a personalised service we didn't get in large 5 star hotels we stayed in between our stays at this hotel. I would return to this hotel without any hesitation.

The hotel is a little hard to find at first. the lack of a travel tie-in is a bit of a pain but the hotel is quite small so probably understandable. the chair is more suitable to relaxation that using at the desk. provision of water is really good. wifi is a little unstable.

This hotel is well located in Connaught Place, with numerous restaurants and cafes in close proximity. The metro station is very close, and it is also very convenient for New Delhi Railway Station.

Rooms are very well maintained and equipped. The bed in my room was great. The bathroom is of a good size, with all plumbing fixtures in good order, and no problem with the hot water supply.

A very good breakfast was served in the restaurant each morning. There was good variety and eggs were cooked to order.

Staff were excellent, and very helpful. I really appreciated my room being upgraded and being given a late checkout, as well as help with early morning transport. Bottled water, fresh fruit, and chocolate cookies each day are very welcoming gestures.

I was a young female traveling alone in New Delhi so I took time in picking my hotel. I was happy with Hotel Palace Heights. The place felt safe, clean, and comfortable. It is in a bustling area (Connaught Place) with a lot of high-end shopping. The area was always alive, even when I arrived from the airport after midnight.

And it was always easy to order an uber from the lobby with WiFi and run downstairs when it was almost there without needing to turn on data. The restaurant in the hotel is great as well!

I checked out early in the morning before a full day trip to Agra, returning in the evening for dinner and to get my bags. Without my asking, the man at the desk offered to open one of the rooms so that I could freshen up and re-arrange some things in my luggage. I thought this was incredibly nice of him!!

We arrived Tuesday night, the welcome was friendly. The room was a little disappointing, it didn't seem to match the reviews, but the following morning we did see some lovely rooms being made up on the way to breakfast. I'm not sure if ours was a little more basic because we were only staying for 2 nights or because we booked via hotels.com. It was adequate for our purposes. Clean, basic, no frills. The staff and service were excellent, and the restaurant was really fabulous - highly recommend the Jalfrezi! I would stay again, just with different expectations of the room. The location was good.

I stayed here due to all the great reviews i read. This hotel is in a great location, if you are looking for convenience to restaurants, shops, and transport. Its is close to the main train station, walking distance around 20-25 mins. I was told only to walk in daylight, and i agree. The train station exit # 3 is literally adjacent to the hotel building letter d. It also an easy exit to and from the city airport. The hotel itself is not that easy to find, its tucked in the corner of building letter D. You can easily miss it specially if you arrive during regular hours as this is really busy area. All the buildings look exactly the same. The hotel amenities weren't that great, but good for what you paid for. The breakfast was poor, NOT buffet style, only had orange juice, fruits, coffee, and pastries. I didnt care much for it bc i ate outside. The staff was friendly, and helpful. I arrived at 11pm and room was ready. The room was clean, and bathroom was huge. The AC worked really well, and aside from the old styly of the rooms they were decent. The WIFI was really good. Having stayed at the Trident in Mumbai the day prior, this was a huge downgrade, regardless, i had a pleasant stay. I was able to get cabs, tuk tuks, and metro easily from the main exit of the hotel. I probably wouldn't stay here again, not bc of the service or the hotel itself, but bc you can easily get anywhere in Delhi in a cab for less than 2-3 USD. The streets are very long and the maps are bit distorded

Connaught Circle hotel recommendation

Great location for subway or Delhi train connections, as well as close to airport subway stop. Staff were extremely helpful in welcoming, accommodations, directions and info, as overall attitude. Restaurant was very good, and stayed open late for untimely arrivals. Highly recommend this hotel and value if you want to be in the central area.

Perfect location

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of CP. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The subway station is just a few steps away and it connects you to the rest of the city.
This is an old hotel with limited facilities. The TV only plays local channels, the rooms are very small and the breakfast very monotonous. However cleanliness and staff welcoming and positive attitude makes up for the shortcomings.

Newspaper is delivered every morning to your door. A fruit plate was also provided every day. As with the rest of the city you will find a lot of dogs around the block ( most of them fat and asleep which I found odd) and lot of beggars, some of them very persistent.

Initial impression is quite bad, but once you get upstairs, the hotel is much nicer. Zero lobby or common area. Decent breakfast at attached restaurant. Rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable. slow wi-fi. Lots of places within a few minutes' walk. I'd stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in nice area

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel staff were very attentive and a chain of staff meet you to take your bags, take you up to reception, check you in, bring bags to the room and then bring you a welcome drink (I had marsala tea which was delicious) and every day fresh friut and cookies and your preferred choice of indian newspaper is brought to the room. The room itself was lovely, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is served in their airy and attractive restaurant and involves a good selection of food - continental, english breakfast and indian breakfast, with eggs and pancakes cooked to order. We also had dinner and lunch in the restaurant as a trusted source of delicious indian food. I can't fault the place! Excellent. To top it off there was even, amazingly, an Eagle nesting with its babies in the tree tops opposite the reception which was quite a sight!

Great Hotel for Connaught Place.

Had a nice stay here. Great location for sight seeing in Old Delhi and the Red Fort. The staff were very helpful and the guard downstairs was extra helpful when we needed to find things locally. Room was really comfortable, breakfast nice and the attached restaurant was also very nice and well prised. Not sure I'd recommend Delhi as India has much more to offer than Delhi, I usually fly in and get out but decided to do some sightseeing for a few days this time as my wife and daughter came along. Very easy to get to New Delhi Train Station. If I was staying in Delhi again I'd consider staying here again. Good value, looked after us very well.

We got into the city at 6am and the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast and held our luggage until we were able to check in. They also set us up with a travel agent who helped up book train tickets and who gave us a driver for the day. The restaurant in the hotel is superb and we ended up eating almost all our meals here because it was authentic, delicious, and convenient. The hotel can appear a little run down, but everything is clean and the staff is great. We checked out at around 5am to catch an early train and they brought us a room service breakfast that early and free of charge. Hotel is close to shopping and a cinema if you want to catch a Bollywood movie. Would stay here again if we ever return to Delhi.

Boutique Hotel in the heart of Delhi \n

We resided eight days at the Hotel Palace Heights and couldn't have been more please. When not traveling for business, we like to stay at small independent hotels in a central location and this is what Hotel Palace Heights is all about. The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, great staff and a safe location in the middle of cafes and shopping. The hotel restaurant, Zaffron, never disappointed and is one of the best in Delhi. Breakfast was a buffet of fruit, breads and juices with eggs and meats cooked to order as well as Indian fare also cooked to order. We stayed in a deluxe double and had plenty of room for two. The bath was very spacious with a large marble shower. We had no negative experiences during our stay and would return again. We also had the hotel car service pick us up at the airport which with an arrival time of 11:30 PM was a good, safe option.

friendly staff, friendly stay

I was a little worried about India as this is my first time arriving to India and rumors of Delhi being the highest crime area, was discomforting. Hotel Palace heights contacted me via Expedia asking if I needed a pick up which was wonderful I agreed. We were picked up and brought to the hotel. After arriving we needed money exchange... they were able to exchange money for us during this awful demonetization crisis. They were friendly. Nice. The location was definitely a plus. My husband and I were able to walk everywhere, although I don't recommend any females to be wandering the streets as the men in India tend to be really aggressive and pushy in the city. I felt comfortable with my husband. Anyway, this hotel was wonderful. Our next stay in Agra, was not so nice, in terms of pick up from the train station, cleanliness, or money exchange (which is surprising considering Agra is the main tourist place). All in all, this makes me more grateful to Hotel Palace Heights. Thank you for the pleasant stay guys!!

arrived at the hotel at 12 0 clock at night and was checked in in just over 5 minutes. Very impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff especially at that hour of the night. It's a great location as it is right in
the heart of Connaught Place. The room was comfortable and clean. Overall very happy with my stay

This was the perfect place to stay. The location is perfect. You are on the inner circle and close to shopping. As a single woman I was able to move around as the area is very safe. Lots of taxis to take you to the sites. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was very good. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel at a great location

Just where you would want to stay in New Delhi. Everything is at your doorsteps, literally. Nice staff. Its like living in Manhattan on your trip to NY. Try it and you will not want to live anywhere else on your trips to Delhi.

The best help you could get there is from Rajeev, the security guard at the entrance. A very helpful person. Ask him about anything and he will make sure you get what you are looking for. He is an asset to that hotel. He is your most honest help there.

Nice , cozy , clean hotel in Connaught Place

Small , cozy, clean hotel, quiet in the heart of Connaught Place (just by the metro station). Great restaurant/reasonable prices. Included breakfast was B+, good WIFI included in price. We stayed there 2 separate times. 2nd time the room was a bit \"tight squeeze\". Nice staff. Great location. You would have to pay less then $90 total for two people for this room to have a decent value. Otherwise check other options.
