After a round of room-roulette, we got a decent room. All the bathrooms in the rooms appear to be an after-thought, crudely carpentered into the room, with smoked-glass walls. One room we saw had just a curtain for the bathroom door(!!!). Other rooms had a sliding glass door that does not afford good privacy. This is the primary reason for knocking off 2 stars. The staff was courteous in general, but the person showing the rooms was deceitful when trying to pass off a lower-quality room as a superior room. Breakfast spread is adequate. For the price we paid, I expected higher quality.

Hotel is clean, staff was friendly, food was fine, location is good, but physical plant definitely “down in the heels”. Dehumidifiers in rooms and hallways still can’t rid feel of moistness. AC on or off, no way to control temp. Hallway walls uneven (buckiling?) possibly from moisture. Same with carpet in hallways being “straightened” by staff regularly. Handheld shower had no place to firmly affix/rest. Used towels removed daily and replaced soon-ish, leaving 30min-1 hr with no towels (none). Front desk offered to switch our rooms but wouldn’t change anything material so we declined. For price point, can probably do better.

Staff was great across the board and very helpful wherever needed. Breakfast provided wide selection of choices and food was fresh and well prepared. Facilities were good including lobby area, pool area and spa. Room was good size and bed comfortable however it had a musty damp smell and feel. Corridor to room also had same smell. Dehumidifiers might help at least in room we stayed in. Overall it was a good stay.

Generally very good. Could have been more fruit options for breakfast. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable.
One morning there was a problem with the water in the bathroom which was running brown and the toilet was not flushing but I was told that it was being repaired which happened soon after.

My stay at the hotel was uncomfortable as the flooring was noisy, the AC did not function properly, the telephone rang unexpectedly at 3 AM disturbing my sleep, and the TV had display issues. I hope the management will address these problems to improve the guest experience.

This hotel is at excellent location but pity to the management and staff that can’t even maintain the property. It’s been old property and not cleaned therefor lobby is smelly with dirty carpet. Rooms doesn’t even have basic facilities available in even 2 or 3 stars hotel where as charges for food and mini bar is extraordinary costly, I would not stay again here.

Stayed in Room 1015. Very worn off room & furnishings. Smell in the room. Got locked in bathroom because of dysfunctional handle. Phone in toilet not working. Need to shout at top of voice for 10 minutes to get some attention. Fortunately room service unlocked door from outside. Traumatic experience. Been this hotel regular customer for last 10 years. Now I need to rethink.

This is probably one of the worst experiences in a hotel, which is rated 5 star in several travel sites. The hotel is situated in a very good location for which I selected it. The room was totally outdated, humid and with a terrible mouldy smell with bugs flying around. Cleanliness was very poor. The bathroom needed serious remodeling and with most of the fixtures showing signs of falling apart, gave a very repulsive vibe. Very pricey for what’s offered.We were overall disappointed and lodged a formal complaint filling out a form provided by the person at the reception desk.

The hotel’s location is its biggest advantage, but the overall experience was just average. I stayed for four nights, and the bathroom in my first room had mold. When I requested a change, they said they were fully booked. The next day, they moved me to another room, but the bathroom was still very basic. Housekeeping was helpful, but the front desk was understaffed, leading to long wait times. Breakfast was disappointing for the price—I expected better.

Taps leaking . Flush & wash basin drains not working properly. Got the money deducted twice on check in and returned on checking daily after 6 days . Only good thing for which I chose earlier this hotel was the location as close to centre of city . I don't know how much to say about wrong things, the list is too long. The only good thing about this hotel is their food, which is very good, except that everything else seems to be not up to the mark. Few examples: mould in the shower area; loose plumbing fixtures, would come off while using them; loose and rotating toilet paper holder; had to ask each day to replenish the tea supply and water in the room; luggage bell boy would question you extensively when requested to send a cart for carting luggage; staff seems arrogant and rude and had to work on each of them to make them smile; seemed like too many supervisors either having a good time or moving around doing nothing but looking very busy; not all servers are dedicated and diligent; had to remind several times the server to bring a requested item; so on and so on.

Booked a different room, they upgraded , but that was a fraud as the upgraded room was not even good, had a mold smell, wood flooring had a gap. reported to the staff and asked for the same room which I booked, and they refused as they did offer that to somebody else. Absolutely disastrous stay. After check in last night hotel staff on front desk told me we are upgrading your room. I was tired and was not bothered. Went in room and gone for bed staright away. Room was freezing cold and even when i turned off AC it was staying cold. In morning when i woke up, opened the curtain and realised the room is under renovation zone and entire window has been blocked. All day it was noise of construction. Complained to front desk, but they didnt bother. In Brekfast, all chairs were dirty, water was dripping from roof and no one was serving the tea. I had to eventually get up and go myself to grab tea. Overall disastrous and had to check out same afternoon as was unable to bear the noise anymore. I have asked for one day refund, but as arrogant hotel management, i have no hope for getting it back. Anyone planning to book this place, serious warning to not bother.

The furniture quality was very poor. I don’t know how they got 5-star rating. We are so disappointed, and got worst experience of our trip. Not recommend for family. If you want to spoil your vacation take this hotel.

In all circumstances, I enjoyed it during my stay.

During my stay, your hotel was under renovation. For this reason, it was uncomfortable. The locker was not working. Didn't provide enough towels after the request. In the breakfast bakery items are not standard in a five-star hotel. The reception was not cordial.

This hotel is very old, the furnishings seem as though they are 50 years old. The hotel is as clean as it can be, it’s just old. I would not consider this a 5 star hotel but maybe a 2-3 star based on the condition of everything. The prices for food are also very high for anyone’s standard.

I always have an overall great experience. The location is great. The staff is excellent Helpful, friendly and very accommodating to my needs. And if I have any issues, they're addressed immediately.The breakfast, and dinner buffets Are some of the best i've ever had world class chefs. Rooms are clean, functional and very comfortable. They are also environmentally conscious Such as, recycled toilet water glass, bottled drinking water that is filtered. It's very appreciated and it does make a difference.
And where I stay, and if I return again. Thank you for an excellent day as always. See you soon

My experience was terrible! First of all is not a 5* hotel, but maximum 3*! Very bad condition, it need asap an refurbishment! Very overpriced, especially when i bought 2 cocktails and print few pages, they asked me 5000 rupees! The staff doesn't help so much, becouse they're not very well trained and some of them rude! The breakfast is very limited and not a very good quality! Someone, break a glass and some rests of that glass went inside the pancake mixt, they didn't even bothered to replace it! Very dangerous for health! Overall, i recomand to avoid this place!

The rooms are in terrible conditions and price which i paid for the room and size of room i got with terrible furniture. Bed is too small, bathroom conditions is also terrible. I would say the worst room i have stayed uptill now. I would say even 3 start hotel room would be in better condition. Never coming back again to this property. I would also like to add the name of the room is Luxury room but forget luxury it was not even clean as well.
