My girlfriends and I were first given rooms on 5th floor! When we stepped out of the elevator experiences a musty smell which comes from water damage ! Same with the room too ! Ridiculous! We were moved to different floor !

The building from outside also looks like a dump !

After experiencing Shangri-La in Bangalore, and in Singapore, this property was a let down !

We enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was wonderful. Always willing to help, offering our kids snacks and plush toys. They provide complimentary fruit and welcome plate at the pool.
Pool is heated and wonderful to be at with lots of space (be aware, it's by a busy road so you'll hear traffic and horns).
Rooms were well appointed and modern.

This hotel seems a little tired for this category. Right away you feel a lack of service compared to other 5 stars. The breakfast buffet is lacking on the Western side and most of the food is cold because they put it out long before the restaurant even opens. The service in the restaurant is also poor. The best thing about this hotel is the super comfortable bed and fantastic bedding! At $750 CDN/night during our stay they need to do better.

Like a lot of similar massive hotels, a mixed experience. The room is well appointed and clean, the bedding good and bed comfortable. The service is good, but the way it is managed is not, Our bags took an hour and a quarter to reach our room when checking in, and when checking out bags held us up again; staff were sent to our room very promptly to check we had not consumed anything from the mini bar, but baggage collection took a long time. It would have been better if we'd just handled our own luggage, but this being a 5 star hotel (not to mention how enthusiastically the staff discourage you from carrying anything), this service is poor. The food was bland and in some instances outright bad, and very expensive.

I stayed at this property with my family and had booked the lounge rooms.
The hotel was lovely, tho it took some time to get our rooms sorted out but we got there in the end.
We stayed over the Christmas period and booked the brunch on Christmas day it was definitely worth it.
i also used the salon during our stay and have to say i loved my hair it was done to perfection and exactly what i was after.
I would defo stay here again, cannot fault the hotel. Location was great.

The staff Sanjeet and Ajay kumar for decorating our room and also checking up on us afterwards to make sure the room was all good. Also the young lady from reception (i cant quite remember her name - but she appeared very senior in her position) but she was so lovely and attentive. She brought us up to our room and showed us the surprise. As a team, the three of them really know how to make their guest feel valued and supported. They were the reason my husband and i had a pleasant stay. Great asset to the company! 😊

Room was spacious and lovely. We stay in 2 different rooms at the hotel due to our itinerary. Both rooms were spotless and bed were comfy.

We also used the gym and it was really nice and well equipped.

Good hotel however if you're looking for a quiet place to stay this may not be for you. Loud music until late due to functions / banqueting. Very noisy in lobby area.

We were also on a non-smoking floor but there were guests smoking in the rooms near ours, I complained twice and was only offered air freshener! No action taken to address the issue!

The hotel was outstanding value and right in the business centre.

The service was top notch and there was always someone to serve your needs at any time of day, no matter what it is.

I want to pay special thanks to Saurabh and Jasrij from Concierge who looked after a number of parcels for me prior to arriving at the hotel.

I want to recognise the outstanding service that Restaurant Manager Abik provided to me for my customised dinner room service on both nights of my stay. He provided outstanding service and ensured that my order was accurate and to my liking and checked up on me before and after each meal. Also making me a great packed breakfast ready to go everyday. Even saying farewell to me with a parting gift.

Saurah from.Tamra delivered my dinner to me daily and he was a lovely gentleman and did an excellent job.

The food was absolutely delicious.

I will no doubt stay here again. Wonderful.work team.

Room was also ready super early when I arrived at 7.30am..the view was no good and did not have the India Gate view I was after but that is OK since the room was available a long time before official check in.

The room was great apart from a couple of insect visitors on the first night. The Clubroom was also awesome with a hearty breakfast and beautiful dinner with Indian flavours each day. Some of the staff in the Clubroom were great and went the extra distance, others could do with a bit more training….

Assistant Front Office Manager Mr. Kapil Sharma upgraded us to a better room on horizon club floor. Front office employee Salvina was very cooperative. Mohan and Jeetpal from Housekeeping were excellent.

As a Expedia Gold tier customer I am entitled to a free upgrade whenever available, also I am entitled to 20% discount on a single restaurant bill and airport transfer. However I was given 20% discount on all food items (restaurant and room service - total 6 bills) and airport transfer. I thank management for this.

This was a return visit for me and my co-worker. This hotel was clean, convenient and the club access is a definite plus. The meals were good at the local buffet and tasty. I think it was fairly healthy, if you choose so. The days were quite smoggy, but that has nothing to do with the hotel, which does actually practice good environmental practices (no plastic bags, no plastic coffee lids). Unfortunately couldn't enjoy the outdoors pool as much as I would've liked. The area is not the best, but walkable to CP and surrounding areas. The staff from the spa (which is really quite nice, including cold plunge) to front desk to restaurant and club lounge were great. It is not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed, but the experience was professional, safe, clean and quite easy actually. I would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Shangri-La Hotel. The spa service was absolutely wonderful — relaxing and professional. We also used the hotel’s car service to explore the city, which was very convenient and comfortable. The food and restaurants were excellent, offering a great variety and top quality. We really appreciated the staff’s hospitality — they even allowed us a free late check-out for six extra hours, which made our departure much easier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and exceptional service!

Enjoyed two excellent stays at this property. Clean, well-managed. No complaints. Staff was professional and courteous. Shout out to Danish and Nameka (sp?) - both very capably provided excellent support in connection with room availability issue at check in. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. We loved the breakfast buffet and the pool.

We did not like the food at Shang’s - pretty poor (and expensive) version of Chinese food - sooooooo much corn starch in the dishes that we ordered.

Dinner service at Tamra was good (but also expensive).

Flawless stay- the hotel is beautiful, the staff were attentive and super helpful with any queries.
I had a wonderful massage in the stunning spa facilities - booked on the day!
Had food in both the buffet restaurant and at the Chinese and both meals were outstanding.
After I checked out, one of the gentlemen at the door even got into the taxi and adjusted the seat for me before I got in.

We drank some initially (with no ill effects) but sensed an odor akin to chlorination. We wound up buying Evian in the hotel shop. Overall, however, a very good experience and no other complaints.

Excellent Stay - Horizon Lounge a Must!

The Horizon Club is the difference maker with this hotel. Other club floors in other hotels are not as good as this one. The staff including AMit, Sagar, Aditi and Dharmi, are fantastic - helpful, attentive, kind, professional. The food and beverage offering especially between 6-8pm is fabulous. This lounge is the reason alone why we keep coming back.

I reached a bit early but was only given a room when I had to pay extra for a Horizon Package. The room I was given originally had a leaking toilet so I had to change soon after. For the Horizon lounge, when the staff knew I had kids with me, and I had paid extra for the package, the staff in the lounge told us it was a business lounge and asked us to keep our kids quiet which was frustrating. The policy didn't seem consistent when they insisted I had bought the Horizon package knowing full well I had kids with me.

Quite a few of the staff at the hotel were quite rude, though some very helpful and even after checking out and leaving the hotel, some of the staff continue to hassle me even though I have given them feedback on the negative experiences during my stay.
