The staff were lovely and try their best to make your stay. The location is great with limited long tails parked in front of the beach. Beach is nice and there is good snorkelling. There are plenty of local stores, bars and restaurants. The food in the hotel is decent - breakfast offers a limited range of food which is not always very hot. There is free tea and coffee all day (no milk for tea is available).

However the nearby long tails are very noisy (even at night). The rooms have no inner curtains so you have to have them all closed all the time for any privacy. The bed is Thai hard! Despite the hard work of the staff the hotel really needs upgrades to replace ripped or very baggy/rock hard sunbeds. The pictures for the hotel are not completely reflective of the need for upgrades.

Great resort near to walking street and various restaurants and shops.Beaches easy to get to or Starling Tuk tuks 50 baht per person . Hotel had lovely pool and the cottages were great with nice furnishings .Staff were happy and friendly nothing too much trouble . Bar food was good but breakfast could be improved more quality ingredients . Would return .

The resort was in a great location right on sunrise beach which is great for swimming and snorkeling
We had no issues getting a sun lounger when we needed one.

The staff are very helpful and provided a pick up and return to the pier great service

The resort itself is lovely for what it is although the walks between rooms are paper thin you can hear everything that goes on!!!! We had a pool room view.

The breakfast was very basic so don’t expect a great deal.

My wife and i stayed at Anda Resort Koh Lipe in March 2025. Staff were friendly at check-in but that was it. Our room was big, but dark as was the restroom.
The television didn't work so had to get another one. That only had one English speaking channel. The remote didn't work properly. Upstairs was noisy from kids running around from other customers
Breakfast was terrible. Cold scrabbled eggs in a tub and no one to cook fresh eggs for you. Line up to cook your toast and and not much more to choose from. Best part, scrapping the dishes in front of me at the table from our left overs and staff smoking while working. Awesome!

Mosquitoes in my room. Many bites when you wake up in the morning. Hard to sleep. Some rooms have mosquito nets over the bed. Mine did not. Exterior door and windows not sealed well, mosquitoes come in through cracks. If you like mosquitoes, then it’s a great place to stay.

Great location, lovely staff and a very relaxing few days. My room overlooked the sea and had everything I needed. There were loungers on the beach to use and tea/coffee/water available all day. The food and drink offering was good and breakfast was also good. The pool looked good although I didn’t actually use it as the sea was too inviting! An easy walk to other restaurants and bars either towards Walking Street or along the beach.

The resort is pretty outdated, the shower head was caked in sediments and overall super basic cheap looking appliances. Also only one single outlet in the room (and not near the bed). I stayed at idyllic resort next door first (had to change resorts because I extended my stay on the island and there were no rooms left there), and the quality of stay was significantly better at Idyllic. Some examples:
1, When Anda resort figured out I was the only person staying in the room, they look away a set of pillows on the bed (seriously?)
2, They give you a beach towel card that allowed 1 towel a day, and you have to trade in your towel (going upstairs into the lobby to do so) to get the card back—they also charge 2000baht if you lose the plastic towel card.
3, They won’t help you set up the beach chairs (minor annoyance but idyllic helps and also helps you set up an umbrella) .

Anda pros:
1, I had the beach front villa so the saving grace was the view and the porch was a very nice touch. That alone made the stay memorable. There is only 3 beach front villas so definitely book in advance!
2, The resort looks super cute walking through it.
3, The staff is friendly.
4, There are mosquito nets protecting the bed.
5, Idyllic and Anda are on the far side of sunrise beach so there aren’t as many boats parked in front of the beach as the other resorts.

The best thing about this Hotel is the location and the beautiful beach...we were there with 2 kids and they manage to even snorkel just few steps away frm our room and discovered more than 10 species of fishes...

We were very dissapointed with the bathroom and the water supply...it was very little...hardly could shower properly....
The staffs...most of them was very friendly especially Ms Ann n Ms Beer at the reception...Ms Ann was so helpful and took the extra mile just to make sure we are happy with our rooms.. but we were very dissapointed with the MARKETING MANAGER MR JOHN...he was very cold towards us and was rude with a long face all yhe time ...even when we smiled at him...he just stared back...

To the owner of this hotel...overall...we loved our stay here and will definitely recommend all our family n friends to come over to yr place too....and we will for sure return n stay at yr hotel again....the location is simply PERFECT.....but just hoping that staff like Mr John...learns some ethics and treat his customers well..probably he should go for some training on this!!!!!

Not worth it for the price - look elsewhere

Pretty disappointed. I would never recommend staying at the Anda. The rooms are old, crusty, so loud and they shake whenever anyone walks around. The up and downstairs huts have zero sound protection so you can hear everything as if you’re in the same room. Tons of brown liquid on the floor of the bathroom when we arrived - other guests said the same. Food a la carte was great but not cheap. Breakfast buffet was whack. Location was great - close to walk its street but on the beach and away from the craziness of Pattaya Beach. The two neighboring properties looked awesome. Would not ever stay at Anda again.

Nice resort, not very relaxing due to building wok

Very nice resort on the beach and a large swimmung pool, which is great for kids.
Unfortunately our room was right next to a building site - there's building everywhere on Lipe now.
Paid 30,000 Baht for 5 nights (incl 1000 baht per night for a mattress on the floor for my daughter!!!) over Xmas and looked forward to a nice relaxing time.
Unfortunately our stay was constantly ruined by the building work and don't see how they can justify charging this much.
I would stay here again, but would have to be a lot cheaper and no building happening.

The island is a beautiful place with some nice people,but I find it hard to understand that when it is low season & there are not many tourists,service falls ,no one really cares if you are there or not ,1 arriving at anda resort we checked in ,unpacked & then decided to try the hotel food,we were met with staff that were not helpful,&f slow,we orderd two meals one was delivers promptly the other took 25 mins,that I don't understand because we were the only people there!! 2 time for breakfast,that was horrible! Eggs uncooked ,bacon burnt & cold ,toaster not working well juice warm.very dissapointed with all of there food .3 we then decided to try a pineapple juice from the bar,that was excellent but that was the first & last time we could get one because they say they have run out of pineapples ,I find that hard to believe? From that point we never went back to resort restaurant. We did have some great food around the Island & some excellent hospitality ,I would probably not visit the island again.

The only thing I like about Anda resort is the beach!! The water is so nice and clear . The room is just ok I stayed at the second floor with balcony type. The shower taste lightly salty . The water pressure of the faucet for the sink is extremely low . The breakfast are buffet style but didn't seem prepared and served properly. No value for money, lack of customer focus

For USD 200 per night, this place does not offer what it should. When you check in at reception, the area is somewhat unkempt and opens only 8am.
We did not have transport waiting for us at the arrivals/ immigration at ko lipe. We had to call the hotel. 7.30am when food comes out fresh from the kitchen. It's cold. No heating mechanism to keep it warm. They served Nescafé
It is unbeatable that the single bungalow is right on the beach. But it feels and looks tired inside. It could use a brighter bathroom and more care in getting the room conducive.
Housekeeping is not up to standard. Bathrooms are not cleaned and there is always a stale smell. Everything is left as is. There is also no natural light in the bathroom, making it rather dingy and somewhat dark during the daytime.
There is no monitoring of people using the sun deck chairs. We've often had people who are not staying in the resort using the deck recliners in front of our room. Making it impossible for us to get one.
The beach towels provided are in poor condition and sometimes still damp.
On the last day we had an influx of hong Kong tourist by a charter which made the situation even worse. The hotel needs a focus on service and value for the customers. The employees were friendly but lack leadership for services.
Overall I would give anda resort a two to three stars.

Ok hotel if you have a room by the beach

Ok hotel if you have a room by the beach. The entrance from the beach is fine, the entrance from the main street is a total building site, there is not even a sign for the hotel.
We had a good room very close to the beach. If I had a room by the pool I would not have been happy due to the building works that looks like it has been going on for a year or two and looks like it has a few more years until completion.

Breakfast was very nice and so were the room.
Location wise I personally feel it was a bit out the way of the nice restaurants, bars and general nightlife. This island is not party central at night so if you do stay closer to the action you will not be disturbed. We also stayed on Walking Street, The Box which was a great location.

It was our second stay at the hotel. we asked for a room by the beach and we were booked by the pool side! Finally get to have a beach view but for only 2 nights.We had to move to another room again because there was a leak....
Also we found the breakfast boring and the hotel serve the same food every day.
The positive aspect is the site, wonderful beach, clean quite.
We regret though that they expand the hotel adding concrete to this wonderful environment.

Great location but undergoing MAJOR building work

Good hotel but it is currently undergoing a massive renovation. This means lots of loud work going on from about 8am until around 7-8pm. The pool area and main entrance was a proper building site.

However I reckon in about 6 months all will be finished and it will be a much bigger and fresher hotel.

Location is amazing. Right in sunrise beach an about a 5 minute walk to the walking street (where most of the bars and shops are).

The sunrise beach is fantastic during the day, lovely sand and water that's crystal clear.

Restaurant is a bit prices for the island but it does serve very nice food- western and Asian.

Staff are really nice and all of them have time to talk and help in whatever way they can.

I would probably stay here again after the building work is done.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel, où plusieurs aspects ont retenu notre attention. La chambre était impeccable : propre, bien aménagée et très confortable.
Le personnel mérite une mention spéciale : accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions ou nous conseiller sur les activités locales. Leur gentillesse a vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour mémorable.

Côté environnement, l’hôtel est idéalement situé, avec une vue magnifique et une ambiance apaisante. Parfait pour se ressourcer ou explorer les alentours.

Un petit bémol cependant : le petit déjeuner. Bien que varié, le café laissait à désirer – un peu trop faible à notre goût. Dommage, car c’est souvent le détail qui fait la différence pour bien commencer la journée.

En résumé, nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel pour son confort, son cadre et son équipe.

Det som drar ner betyget var restaurangen som vid frukosten var ”stökig” med mycket folk på liten yta. Tråkiga bänkar att sitta på och maten var sådär. Inget var varken tillräckligt varmt eller tillräckligt kallt. Kaffet var endast Nescafé.

Très belle vue sur la plage, grand piscine ( nettoyée tous les jours ), breakfast not so good. Difficile de prendre une douche car l’eau coule très peu. La salle de bain n’a pas été nettoyée correctement pendant 1 semaine. Notre chambre était pleine de poussière à notre arrivée.
Restaurant , la nourriture est correcte , le prix des jus est beaucoup plus cher que dans d’autres établissements.

Dårlig kommunikation.
Værelset blev ikke gjort rent, sengen blev redt og der kom rene håndklæder - men ingen rengøring.
Vi havde et ophold på 7 nætter og måtte selv bede om at få skiftet sengetøj efter 4 nætter.
Yderligere oplevede vi at komme tilbage til værelset og det ikke var låst efter rengøringen havde været der...
Generelt slidt og dårlig stand.
Aircondition lugtede muggent og vi fik dårlig vejrtrækning ved at have den tændt om natten, så det måtte vi opgive.
Virkelig kedelig morgenmadsbuffet.

Sängarna och kuddarna var stenhårda. Badrummet var väldigt litet och det fanns inga duschväggar eller draperi. Det var jättedåligt tryck i duschkranen och golvet blev översvämmat och rann inte undan när man duschade då golvet har fel lutning.Poolen var ganska smutsig och inbjöd inte till att bada där.

Vi hadde et av de rimeligere rommene og prisen stod i stil med kvaliteten på rommet. God service. Hyggelige ansatte og henting ved havna. Liten strand tilknyttet hotellet så det er begrenset med solsenger dersom man kun vil ligge på hotellet. Fin utsikt. Helt ok frokost. Hard seng, som i resten av Krabi. Kort vei til «sentrum» og restauranter, men fortsatt rolig.

We had a good stay overall, mostly thanks to the location. The hotel is perfectly placed—right on Sunrise Beach and only about a 5-minute walk to Walking Street, which made it really easy to explore and still come back to a quieter, scenic spot.

The lobby/bar area is especially cozy, with a lovely view overlooking the beach—definitely a nice place to relax. The room was decent, and it was a nice touch that the hotel picked us up directly from the ferry terminal, which made arrival super smooth.

That said, there were some downsides. Our room view faced what seemed like a trash/utility area, which wasn’t great. The beds are very hard, and the breakfast was underwhelming compared to expectations. Also, even though the hotel is relatively expensive, the bar adds an additional 10% service charge, which felt a bit surprising.

Finally, the biggest frustration was the lack of sun loungers. Guests often reserved them early in the morning and left them unused for hours, and we were only lucky enough to get two loungers on one day.

Overall: Amazing location and a nice beachfront atmosphere, but the hard beds, weaker breakfast, extra bar charges, and sun lounger situation took away from the experience.

Wir hatten ein Häuschen mit seitlichem Meerblick fast ganz vorne! Wir würden empfehlen nur diese zu nehmen, da kommt echte Urlaubsstimmung auf.
Es hat alles geklappt und man hat kurze Wege zum Essen und Strand. Die Aussicht aufs Meer beim Frühstücken ist unbezahlbar!
Ein Spaziergang zum Nordpoint am Strand entlang ist wunderschön.
Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Würden wieder dorthin fahren!

Ingen tvivl om at det er en smuk strand lige uden for døren her... Dog en strand med meget trafik af mennesker og longtails boats, der tager lidt af Bounty stemningen.

Boede i deres dyreste bungalow direkte ud til vandet... Smukt... På billederne ser det meget idyllisk ud, og det er der også, men der er noget mere gang i stranden lige uden for vinduet end billederne viser.

The cleaners were not very serious, and spent more time making elephants and swans out of the towels, than cleaning. Cosy pool ! Terrible noisy aircon. We were given one key only, so could chose between a locked door/ hot room to return to, or unlocked/cold room. We were denied an extra key. Asked cleaners to come back in 5 mins, and they didn’t come at all. An almost worn out hotel.

Vi bodde på Anda i 17dagar, det var bra.
Men några saker var sådär..
Frukosten var kall, trots att vi var där vid öppningsdag.
Saknade bacon.
Det fanns för få solstolar, var tvungen att passa stolarna för att få några.
Sen så städades rummet alldeles för sent 4-5pm, det kunde ha gjort tidigare.
Vill inte ha städbesök när man duschar efter en dag på stranden.

La chambre 217 était top pour notre séjour en amoureux, un peu en hauteur et sans vis à vis . Piscine parfois rempli de petits enfants très agités !! Petit déjeuner correct mais parfois bruyant avec les enfants des autres ! Hôtel idéal si vous êtes en famille avec des enfants en bas âge. Un peu moins cool si vous recherchez la tranquillité en couple comme nous. Néanmoins vous pouvez faire du Snorkeling juste en face. Kayak à payer en supplément, dommage.. Pas d'éclairage au dessus du lavabo... Plage privée avec transat pris d'assaut dès 8h ! Nous avons préféré en profiter un peu plus loin à 'lEst 😉. Un bon hôtel malgré tout ! Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour.

Bel hôtel avec une architecture typique. Nombreux transats sur la plage. Le snorkeling de la plage est super, des milliers de poissons. Le personnel est aux petits soins et le petit déjeuner copieux.

Das Resort ist direkt am Strand aber leiden reichen die Sonnenliegen nicht aus, ebenso beim Pool. Das Personal ist freundlich aber beim völlig ausgebuchten Resort, ist die Zimmerreinigung erst abends oder gar nicht. Das Frühstück ist völlig unentspannt - laut und völlig überfüllt (entspricht eher einem Frühstücksaal in der Mensa). Frühstück am Meer sieht anders aus.
Alles kostet extra z.B zusätzliche Bettdecke oder Kanufahren). Beim dem Preis nicht nachvollziehbar. Einen ruhigen Schlaf hat man ebenso nicht, da alle Zimmer in einer merkwürdigen Holzkonstruktion zusammenhängen ( es wackelt alles und der Schall vom Nachbarzimmer übertragen wird)

OK hotel, old rooms, nice staff but too expensive

Quite expensive for the hotel quality, rooms are ok but not worth the money you pay to stay. Bathrooms not great, very busy hotel. Nice staff and nice breakfast but food and drink prices are very high in the hotel, we went to use the bars at other hotels on the same beach and they were much cheaper. On arrival there was a mix up and we were given a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guests had left, so we were given an alternative room after a short wait. Hade först ett rum på tredje våningen som passar par och inte oss som familj så vi bytte rum och fick ett väldigt bra rum vid havet. Ägarna är väldigt hjälpsamma, trevliga och serviceminded.

Nos alojamos en el cuarto que esta frente al mar en planta baja. Es muy lindo, la vista es increible y el acceso a la playa también.
El desayuno es de tipo oriental (arroz, fideos, salchichas, atun) y alguna fruta (anana y sandia).
Como punto en contra, el aire acondicionado que tiene el cuarto no es suficiente para el calor, quiza este viejo.
Las sabanas son humedas.
De todas formas la pasamos bien y el personal es excelente y muy predispuesto.

コテージの下の部屋ですと上の部屋の足音がうるさすぎて寝れなくなりました。

それ以外は問題ありません。

Underbart ställe! Mysigt och jättefin resort precis vid havet. Mycket god frukost och thaimat!
Personalen är fantastisk och har en mycket hög servicenivå.
Vi är besvärliga gäster men fick alla våra önskemål uppfyllda.
En extra stjärna till ”Beer” som arbetar i receptionen!

Great place to stay at!

Vi hade det jättebra, oerhört mysigt ställe med lite djungelkänsla. Mysigt poolområde med stor pool. Rummen var stora, badrummen var stora! Städningen var bra och noggrann. Nya handdukar & vatten på rummet varje dag. Kylskåp fanns också. Alla rum har en bra och relativt stor uteplats. Ganska många solstolar, strandytan ner till vattnet var ganska liten (men påverkas av
Hög eller lågvatten) sunrise beach var helt rätt för oss, den lugnaste av de alla (om man bor ner mot Anda eller Idyllic hotel) längre upp mot Zodiacbeach ligger Öns taxistation och där är det många longtailbåtar & på patayabeach kommer alla färjor in dagarna till ända. Walkingstreet är egentligen uppdelad på 2 långa gator så folket sprids ut lite men det är fortfarande väldigt mycket folk på gatorna.
