This is a beautiful spa resort. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Lovely restaurant and bar, lovely pool and spa area, free use of bicycles, and great location near Fussen, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and we would definitely return.

The man at the service desk was simply mean and unapologetic about our shower breaking and messing up our entire day as it took hours to fix and our baby could not nap. We weren’t offered a room or any extra care to help make it better. Left a very bad taste to a very special and long awaited trip. There were flies all around in the spa and the room was very disappointing considering the price. I thought this hotel was going to be our greatest stay on the trip and it turned out to be the worst.

Excellent hotel, staff was courteous from the beginning to the end of the stay. They even found someone who spoke Portuguese with my in laws.
The room was comfortable and well designed.

The hotel is likely one of the best in Schwangau. Having said this, the staff could be better at anticipating needs, like toilet paper (had to ask for another roll) room service (no butter or salt and pepper, and missing items). There were little things like the floor being dusty and the minibar fridge having a room temperature instead of nice and cool. The restaurant is top notch—Michelin. The view if the castles —fantastic. Quiet, good bedroom beds etc. qualified endorsement.

I liked the proximity to the Castle. I liked the welcome Champagne. I did not like that staff did not take phone calls in evening. Also when I phoned for US adapter, which they had, they asked me to go down to retrieve. You would think a “Superior” hotel would bring it up to my room. Lastly they were not helpful when it came to getting train information. Amenities were great as well as it’s location but staff was not up to par.

Lovely hotel, little over priced

Hotel is lovely, overlooks the famous Neuschwanstein Castle with a gorgeous pool. Check in was easy and staff were super friendly. Breakfast was tasty, especially enjoyed the Buck’s Fizz on offer. I would say it’s just a touch overpriced, but think they charge the premium as there are not many nice hotels in the area.

The room and hotel were just gorgeous. I didn’t want to leave!! The only negatives was that they didn’t have air conditioning. Had Germany not been unseasonably hot, it wouldn’t have been a problem and the hotel, grounds and view more than made up for the minor inconvenience.

No AC makes summer nights tough

Pros:
- Great views of Neuschwanstein castle
- Clean
- Good breakfast
- Bike rentals great for rides to Füssen!

Cons:
- No air conditioning. Hot and hard to sleep in during hot summer days!
- Pool area has very few places to sit
- Bathroom layout was such that there was no privacy when taking shower. No door for this area of the bathroom.
- Free WiFi slow

Overall I would not recommend this hotel for summer visits. I had a hard time sleeping because to cool of the room enough to be comfortable I had to leave the screen door open for the night, introducing noise which also made it difficult to sleep. I will say though that the breakfast area is very nice and overlooks a beautiful pasture with the Neuschwanstein Castle in the background!

Das Rubezahl is a great hotel at the foot of the Bavarian Alps with a fantastic view of the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The hotel is comfortable with very nice facilities. Great rooms with nice bathrooms with a very well appointed wellness spa.The only area of improvement would be the breakfast which does have a great spread but there could be more choice in terms of local delicacies and fruits. While checking out, they do give you their home-made marmalade (delicious) which is a very nice touch.

Tolle Lage mit Sicht auf die Schlösser. Zimmer ok. Auf dem Zimmer keine Klimaanlage. Gut bestückte Minibar (kostenpflichtig).

Hotel Bar sehr gut. Super Cocktails, hochpreisig. Personal freundlich. Frühstück gut.

Alles schön renoviert. Restaurant und Bar klimatisiert.

Wellnessbereich blieb allerdings hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Zwei indoor Whirlpools entpuppten sich als zwei Whirlwannen für jeweils eine Person. Outdoor Whirlpool sich nur für zwei Personen und abends zu kalt. Pool klein und kalt. Für einen Wellness Urlaub nur bedingt geeignet.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unter diesem Gesichtspunkt weniger gut.

Als Hotel für Sightseeing und Ausflüge sicherlich besser geeignet.

Tudo ótimo, com exceção de que quando chegamos nos colocaram em um quarto diferente do que havia reservado e insistiram que era da mesma categoria, que só tinham 3 daqueles quartos e estavam todos ocupados, porém, em nenhum momento aparece esse quarto nas Fotos de escolha da categoria. Depois de insistirmos, nos colocaram no quarto que havíamos reservado.

Zimmer werden alle 2 Tage gereinigt und für die Einsparungen als ökologischer Ausgleich Bäume gepflanzt. Gute Idee wen no man die Story weiter verfolgen könnte. Wo und wieviel wurde gepflanzt usw. Da wir das Zimmer erst nach 3 Tagen gereinigt haben wollten, klappte der Service dann nicht mehr richtig im Rhytmus und Vollständigkeit.

Sehr freundliches Personal und kompetente Hotelbar mit Riesensuswahl. Tolle Weinkarte.

Mit Abstand das Hotel mit den meisten Leihfahrrädern (und das ist kein Sporthotel).

Absolut ruhig sind die Zimmer auf der Westseite bis auf den morgendlichen Anlieferverkehr was verschmerzest ist. Zimmer Ostseite mit umwerfenden Panoramablick auf die Schlösser, Weide,Kühe.

Schön wäre beim Checkin ein gemeinsamer Rundgang durch Wellness, Restaurant und Terrasse gewesen.

Troppo caro per i servizi offerti e per la qualità della struttura in generale. Ristorante costoso e cibo di media qualità. La SPA appena suifficiente. La cosa più grave è che se chiamavi in hotel per prenotare direttamente di facevano pagare oltre 100 euro in meno!!! Dei truffatori....

Muito bem localizado , mas não vale o que cobram .. sem ar condicionado , restaurante gourmet só funciona sexta e sábado. Conseguir uma mesa com vista seja para o café da manhã ou jantar, é praticamente impossível! Funcionários muito atenciosos !!!

Excelente surpresa. Estava em duvida de onde ficar, e fiquei muito feliz em ter escolhido o Hotel das Rubezahl. Quarto tinha vista frontal pros castelos. Comida e atendimento muito bons. Foi uma grata surpresa. Se tem algo que eles possam melhorar eu diria que é o cafe da manha, de resto tudo nota 10 !

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Aussicht auf das Schloss Neuschwanstein. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man braucht aber ein Auto, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Frühstück und Abendessen lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Leider war unser Zimmer sehr klein, was uns bei der Buchung (vor allem bei dem Preis) so nicht bewusst war. Wir reisten mit Kleinkind und wussten nicht einmal, wo wir unsere Koffer abstellen sollen. Zum Spielen blieb gar kein Platz. Zusammenfassend ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis daher für uns nicht ganz stimmig.

A estadia foi incrível! Queria ter ficado mais!
O hotel é lindo e o atendimento é maravilhoso!
As acomodações são super confortáveis! A cama é uma delícia, o chuveiro é agradável, o quarto possui aquecimento e uma lareira fake super fofa! Além disso, o quarto possui amenidades acima da média (fornece roupão, chinelo, itens de banho, etc). Além disso, o quarto tem uma varanda com vista para o Castelo de Neuschwanstein.
O hotel oferece ainda serviços de SPA, que são maravilhosos!
Quanto à comida servida, ela é incrível! Jantamos no hotel e a comida era ótima, além de cerveja e vinho de qualidade. E o café da manhã foi o mais delicioso que eu já tive na minha vida!
Por fim, no que se refere ao atendimento, é absolutamente incrível! Todos os funcionários são super atenciosos e prestativos.
Tenho apenas elogios a fazer ao hotel!
