We loved the amazing view. Fortunately the neighbours did not smoke so that we could use the balcony and open the windows. Strange that people in principal are allowed to smoke on the balcony, there should be no ashtrays. We expected to pay the hotel fee in the hotel and put Euros on our cash card, but then the hotel already charged our credit card before we checked in, so that we had to pay the card fee and use an unfavorable exchange rate. Except, excellent service and a great place to stay.

Fantastic Hotel. We hiked for 4 days in the area. Amazing scenery, great food, perfectly located hotel. Reception area was helpful and friendly. One night there was a Alp Horn Concert at the Weissensee, immediately below the hotel. What a treat. Well maintained hotel with all the amenities. Highly recommended.

We are amazed! Such a beautiful place! Loved the apartment, clean, comfortable, bathroom with tub!! Enjoyed the warm pool and spacious sauna! FANTASTIC view! Very friendly staff! Awesome location at the lake with walking trail around it, very close to the city of Fuessen - great for shopping and sightseeing - and another 5 minute drive to the famous castle Neuschwanstein (Fairy tale Castle)

This is a beautiful property run by very friendly people. It is expensive, but no more than any other places in the Füssen area. The restaurant is great and affordable, and the games rooms and pool/spa are wonderful. There are many extra touches like free coffee and cookies every day. And the surrounding area is gorgeous. Our only complaint is that the WiFi was slow and undependable — but for our stay it wasn’t our top priority, so that was fine.

Perfect Vacation

This is the perfect hotel/apartment for your vacation to Southern Germany. Quiet, peaceful, scenic location. Many outdoor recreation options. Many historical sites nearby as well. Fuessen is five minutes away and has great restaurants. The hotel itself has everything you need. Great staff. Very, very clean. Lots of good instructions and ideas for recreation in the room.

on a beautiful lake

The hotel is located on a beautiful lake a short drive from Fusson. We did not get a unit on the lake side however, so we only saw/heard the noisy street. The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable. We came to the area to see the castles so wish we were a bit closer to the town. But quiet area; dog friendly, nice staff.

We arrived at this hotel around 7pm and the owner had left a note for us with our key. Just like the reviews said, the owner spoke zero English, but it wasn't a problem commincating. She was very friendly, and the notes she left explained everything; to our rooms, breakfast instructions, the underground garage/parking, and the resturant. I booked this hotel because of the reviews and the amazing view. The view was so out of this world amazing. We felt like we were in heaven! The reflection of the mountain on the water, captured the most beautiful photos!!! We dropped our bags off and went straight to the hotel resturant, which was an amazing dinner!! We will definitely go back!!! Oh and the man at the counter in the morning spoke English and he was sooo helpful with directions and where we needed to go to get safety vests.

Fantastic location by the side of a lake near the \"chitty chitty bang bang\" castle in the Bavarian Alps.. Hotel with self catering rooms available. Excellent pizzeria restaurant on site. A lot of thought has gone in to the facilities..swimming pool, sauna, gym, games room, laundry, garage etc etc. The hotel is very child friendly. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great for vacationing with kids!

What a great find! We stayed here for a weekend trip to visit Neuschwanstein castle (only 10-15 minutes away). Friendly service, roomy balcony apartments with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains, great indoor pool/sauna/workout facility, fun game room, and even a laundry room! You also get an assigned parking space in their underground lot for free. The italian restaurant in the hotel is delicious (highly recommend the lasagna) and they are very kid-friendly. We have nothing negative to say about our stay here! And to top it all off, they give you a parting gift when you leave. Best place we've stayed in a long time!

Get the lake view room. Awesome location, beautiful setting, nice size room, great people, great restaurant. Uncomfortable bed. I would have given 5 stars for this place, but I stay at hotels to sleep and the bed was just uncomfortable. It was two singles pushed together, but it was inches higher in the middle than the sides and it was not good at all. Te balcony view was spectacular, the style of the room I liked very much. The other thing I rate hotels on is the shower, this one is great. Was a short drive to the castles past Fussen. I would not stay here without a car. I don't even know if a bus goes from here to Fussen. I rented a car from Kempten and it is was great.

Peaceful hotel with lakeside situation

We love this hotel. The owner and staff are all very friendly. It occupies a lovely situation on the banks of an alpine swimming lake. The room was very clean and there was a welcome bottle of sparkling wine. The hotel offers breakfast (we didn't get a chance to try this but looked very nice) and an onsite Italian restaurant where the food was very good. We had a one room apartment with a balcony overlooking the lake - definitely worth paying extra for this as the view's fantastic. The room sleeps 4, a double bed and double sofa bed that pulls out easily. There's a kitchenette with 2 ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, crockery, pans etc. The two room apartments have bigger kitchen areas. The room has a TV - most of the channels are German. The hotel has a small pool, sauna and gym open 24 hours. There is a Kindergarten on site - I believe under 7's can join in when it's open. The hotel promotes well-being and there is a massage studio on site that offers a range of treatments (sports massage as well as Reiki etc.). You are allocated a numbered parking space in underground garage. There's free internet access (WiFi too I believe), free coffee (Nespresso) and table football.

There's a flat 2 hr walk around the lake, a cafe at the lake and a grassy area to stretch out on. A small supermarket is 5 mins walk away. The lake freezes in winter with opportunities for ice sailing, skating etc. The hotel's about 10 mins from Fussen.

Very nice apartment hotel at a beautiful lake

Good hotel for families with children. Rooms are big - the room we were in was ample large for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 17y-olds). We didn't use the kitchen but had dinner in the nearby Italian restaurant on the same property. We had breakfast in the Stueble downstairs - excellent with lots of choices but expensive for adults any kids over 1.5m tall. Luckily, despite the boys being taller than 1.5m, we only had to pay the children's rate per person for them instead of the full adult rate.
Room has basic comfort - nothing exceptional. Nice balcony. Unfortunately, no AC so it was quite hot in the room.

Even though the furnishings are dated, it is clean and comfortable and very near to all we wanted to see and do in the region. We stayed two nights and we were treated like family. The owners are two of the most charming \"innkeepers\" we've met. Would definitely stay here again.

The most beautiful view from balcony I have ever had. The hotel was pleasant and the suite was roomy. Downstairs they had a sauna, heated swimming pool overlooking the alps, a gym, washing machines, tanning beds and just about anything else you can want. Underground free garage. Gorgeous location, easy to find. The woman who was at the desk when we got there was a bit rude and didnt speak any English, but the gentlemen who checked us out the next morning was very very nice. I would like to stay in this hotel again one day, I regret only having one night to stay there.

A real gem in the mountains

A real gem of a hotel located directly on a lake in the mountains. We were just a 20 minute drive from our ski destination. We had a spacious room with a small kitchen, well appointed. The manager that greeted us was very helpful. The pool and sauna were lovely. I recommend the italian restaurant located in the main building. The owner was friendly and the food was delicious.

Great Hotel, Great location

I have stayed at this hotel two times. The three room apartment is Great with a child or two. It has a seperate room with two twin beds, a living room (for sitting), and a master bed room. The price waas very good for the location. It is not in the town of Fussen but we went to the castles and the museum and shops of Fussen. Great location. The staff is great and the on site Italian restaurant is very good. Great pizza and pasta. If I'm ever in the area again I'll stay there.

Beautiful property opposite the lake.

Negatives: No cleaning service. No trash removal/towel replacements. Very meagre basic supplies such as hand soap/shower gel. Kitchen had all kitchen utensils, cutlery etc. but no salt/sugar etc. Breakfast (not included) was very basic. Plus: This was such a great stay that we extended by another night. Right next to the lake, (our room was on 1st floor), with a huge balcony, this was a wonderful relaxing getaway. Had all the amenities, as a house - with kitchen. Very cozy. All in all, it was a wonderful stay regardless!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 5. I wanted to stay closer to Munich but couldn't find accommodations for 5. Fussen is about 1.5 hours to Dachau, which we drove to for a tour of the concentration camp. Our apartment overlooked the beautiful lake in Fussen. It was convenient to have a kitchen available to make our own supper and save a little money. The kids loved the pool, and the free Internet was a plus as was the free use of laundry facilities. Also, the hotel is just 15 minutes to the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.

Overall, a very nice stay at the Seespitz

Overall, we had a great time here. It was close to the castle attractions and the town of Fussen, which we had come to see. The views from our balcony were stunning! We enjoyed walking on the path below the hotel to see the lake and to the nearby store. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had a very nice meal. Our only complaint was the small size of the bathroom in our room--had to leave the door open to prevent claustrophobia!

Good stay but beware of breakfast cost

The 3 room apartment was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children under 2) and facilities (washing machine, kitchenette, parking, baby cots etc.) made everything so much easier.

My only initial concern was the distance from town, but in the end it wasn't a major issue. The restaurant downstairs was good, but we wouldn't have wanted to use it every night.

You have to book breakfast the night before and it is really expensive - 15 Euros per adult and 5 Euros for each child above 1 metre. It was nice but wasn't worth 15 Euros each and we went into town for breakfast after the first day.

Great family holiday, bring a car, or use taxis

Overall a great holiday destination. An older residence but everything is kept in great condition. Rooms come equiped with everything you need. Hotel facilities are as described with some activities when the weather is gloomy. A little far from other places. Restaurant is good enough for a night or two. The people in the village were extremely nice. Quite a different Bavarian experience to staying in Munich.

Just a great spot

We had a great time at the Seespitz. Close to the local attractions, and very accommodating staff. Restaurant onsite was great, and the room was perfect for our family of 5. Highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting the local sites and have a large group. Much more affordable than getting 2 room hotel at other locations and very fun. Our girls were 17 and 20 and they had a blast on the lake and hiking the surrounding area. Definitely would stay here again!

Worth the time and money

March 2012 visit to Neuschwanstein

Great hotel (apartment) for kids. Had a room within a room for the kids, seating for all of us to eat, a large balcony, and a very functional kitchen. We are a family of five and it was perfect. Indoor (24hr) pool and park (playground) down the hill keeps the kids busy. Owner met us at the door and showed us around. Restuarant on site for family or can walk to other options or a store near by. Ten minute drive to downtown or 15 minutes to drive to the castles.

Great View, Great Reception, Great Visit

We were lucky to find this hotel because we loved it so much. It was a short drive to Fussen and Schwangau. The hotel receptionist was terrific and gave us info to help get around. The owner greeted us at breakfast (15 euro so eat hearty) and also shared personal favorites while welcoming us. There is no internet for your room, but there is a computer and coffee lounge for your use. The room had apartment amenities that made your stay convenient (cooking, dishes, etc.). The view was great! Wish we had more time than the two nights we stayed!
For families: The family room (3 zimmer) had a master bedroom, a bedroom with two twin beds (no window), a living/dining area and a kitchen. No worries about space and affordable.
Game room needs some updating. Plus you need to put a deposit down for pool table access but reception closes as 6pm.
Attached restaurant is independent of the hotel. The food was very good Italian fare, but service was no great :( I don't know if our server was the owner or an employee but the cell phone rarely left her ear.

We loved our three days at this hotel. The only downside was the cost of the breakfast which we thought was a little high - 15 Euro; however, we had a vehicle so were able to drive to Fussen to a lovely bakeshop for breakfast at a cost of 4.70 Euro each. The view from the hotel is incredible and the people there are super. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Romantic getaway

Apartmenthotel Seespitz was our favorite place we stayed in a week-long trip all over Germany. It is in an idyllic setting on a beautiful alpine lake, near Fussen and the King's castles. We liked that it was outside Fussen, very quiet and the staff is very friendly. The amenities are also wonderful, the pool, sauna, hot fresh bread every morning.... all in all a great place to stay. The only caution I have is that we did not realize until checking out that breakfast was not included, and it's pricy.

Lovely spot on an alpine lake

Our family (two adults, two children) really enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend the lake-view rooms, it is so lovely to be on the large balcony and look over the lake and mountains. There are two low-rise buildings, we stayed in the one with the Red door. We hiked, swam in the pool and in the lake via the public beach next door. We rented a pedal-boat (9 euro for one hour) at the beach. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant on-site - it serves great pizza and has a patio, and was a nice change from the usual Bavarian roadside fare, although service can be slow on busy nights. The hotel owner was very friendly and everyone made us feel welcome. This hotel is actually in the village of Weisensee, about a ten minute drive west of Fussen, near the tunnel into Austria.

Very nice hotel and friendly owners

This hotel is right on the edge of the lake in a quiet village. It has lots of underground parking, pool, gym, sauna, table tennis, internet etc - the kids thought it was great.

The rooms are not serviced, but they are a decent size and have most things and you can order fresh bread for breakfast.

A car is useful/essential, as it's a few miles into Fussen and to the castles, but it's an easy drive and not too busy.

There's a few grocery shops in Fussen and Lidl/Aldi etc, but lots of inexpensive restaurants.

Good for castles, walking, lakes activities (canoes, pedalos etc).

The hotel also has a good quality and reasonably prices pizzeria, again with friendly staff and good food, but the service was slighly bizarre sometimes, but not a big problem. I had better explain - one night it took 2 hours to get two courses and the next night we had to be in and out in 30 minutes because they had a big party of 15 people - it's a small kitchen - but they did their best :-)

Family trip with 2 teenagers racing from town to town. Wished we could have stayed longer than one night.. We had an apartment with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living room area and deck. Close to Neuschwannstein and Fuessen. Even washers and dryers free of charge! Underground parking. Beautifully situated on a lake. Wished we would have had more time for exploring the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

Worth the $$$ and not too far from Neuschwanstein

We stayed at the Seespitz a year ago and did again this year. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have all of the things you cherish the most when traveling. My boys love the cozy little bedroom, it becomes their secret get-away when we visit. I highly recommend the lakeside view, nothing like drinking coffee while watching people fish on the lake. They care about their hotel, and it shows by all of the upgrades noticed from our last visit. The restaurant in the hotel makes some of the best Italian food around. Go early, alot of people visit it for dinner and space is limited.

The staff is very welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home! I challenge you to find that at other places.

They have garage parking, free internet bar, free coffee, dishwasher, microwave ,dishes, cups, silverware, stove, patio furniture, lounger, dining room table with 4 chairs, full living room area, walk-in closets, flat screen TV, compact disc player/radio, blow dryer.....that is in the room. Other nice things...massages by appointment, game room with pool table, fussball table, ping pong table, pool, sauna, private outdoor sun area, and direct path to the lake with an awesome path around the lake. I could go on and on, but we plan to make another visit next year! You can't go wrong with this place.

“Can't Wait to Go Back” IT NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED ON THE 4 STARTS LIST!

Lets start by saying this is one of the unfairly rated as a 3 stars hotels...it should be a 4 stars (min) specially for Europe standards.

GREAT location, overlooks the lake, great facilities, more than confortable appartments, EVERYTHING was spotless clean. Everything looked new inside the room. All apartments have a small terrace with outdoor furniture.
They print for us the instructions for indoor parking (free), internet (free downstairs) , pool, spa, etc. in English

The park for the kids is fun and fenced. You can walk or run on the lake path ...the view priceless.

Mi kids loved it, we did too.
The restaurant was really good ( try their soups!)

Service fantastic... they all speak English and on check out we even got samples of home made jellies and a DVD with more information about the area.

We will go again before the end of the year and we will try to over the summer! loved the place and the location.

This hotel was extremely nice. It was basically a small apartment with a little kitchen, kitchen table, sofa and balcony. They had a nice underground garage and free laundry machines. The hotel managers were very helpful. We were here for only one night, but this would be ideal for a longer stay.

We came here to stay for one night - liked it so much , stayed an extra night. Away from town, right next to the Lech in Weisensee - Beautiful location and beautiful views - both the apartments we stayed were great. George, the manager is very pleasant and the owner takes personal interest in her guests. Good facilities including wireless internet, table tennis, parking, free coffee machine, laundry and parking. You MUST be driving to stay here , and if you are, this is HIGHLY recommended. All sights are easy driving distance including Fussen center, the castles and Steingaden and Garmische Patkirchen et cetera. We would stay here again, absolutely.

Nice clean comfortable hotel, with exceptionally friendly attendants. Recommend lake view room with balcony overlooking lake and Alps, had great view. Apartment comes with plates, glasses, silverware, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and fridge. Also, no breakfast buffet, so bring something to eat or you will need to go find a restaurant. Bring swim suit for indoor pool. 3 adults and two children slept comfortably in the room. Nice walking trail around lake.

Spacious room with picturesque view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Fussen is just on the edge of the mountains, and we had a fantastic view of some of them from across the lake. The atmosphere of the hotel and town was very relaxing. Our sons enjoyed having a room to themselves for a change as there are multiple sleeping areas in the apartment. We also liked the additional touch of the enclosed garage.
You don't need to go too far for good food as there is an Italian restaurant in the hotel. There is a breakfast room in the morning for a traditional continental breakfast.

Comfortable and Convenient

The Seespitz was comfortable and very spacious for myself and my 3 children (one infant). I had booked a 3 twin sized bed room and checked into a double bed in addition to the 2 twin sized beds room. The front desk staff spoke very good English and were helpful in our locating a nearby snow boarding instructor and site. The continental breakfast was not included in the room rate however for the cost charged it was worth it. There was a large variety of coffees, teas, juices, bread, cheese, jams, cereals, meats, yogurts and fruits available. The space provided for the breakfast was also comfortable, quiet and clean. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was also delicious providing a wide variety to select from and everything ordered was delicious and fresh. We were satisfied with the prices and service. A secure underground parking garage was also available. Although not utilized on this visit, there was an indoor pool that looked out onto the grounds and lake. We'll be sure to bring swim wear on our next visit. Overall the experience was a pleasant and positive one.

Really nice but watch out for breakfast

The hotel was really nice, would definitely stay there again. The only thing to watch out for is the breakfast buffet. Every other hotel I have stayed in while in Germany had a free breakfast buffet. The one at this hotel was not only inferior to the these, but it was 15 Euro. My husband and I literally grabbed a piece of toast on the way out of the door and we were somewhat scolded and charged 30 Euro and somewhat scolded. I wouldn't have minded paying, but because we didn't know and there was no one there to tell you (you would think that someone would be there manning the buffet to explain and serve coffee--I couldn't find the coffee), so it just created awkwardness. I think I also would have eaten a little more than a piece of toast, although there was little there to eat. That being said, it was a great place to stay. It has a great view of the Alps and the lake and great amenities. It was great having laundry facilities, and we really enjoyed the pool, sauna, and playing ping pong in the rec room, which was also equipped with pool and board games.
The only recommendation I have for improvement is either make the breakfast buffet free or improve the selection and provide staff to at least bring you coffee like all the free ones just so people like me aren't made to feel like we did something wrong.

Seespitz was a very nice surprise. A lot of space in the apartment with brand new furniture and a perfect view from the balcony: a beautifull lake and the austrian mountains. Friendly service completed the magic formula. Don't forget: book a lake view room!

Seespitz stay September 2010

We booked this hotel during our recent trip to Bavaria to view the castles mostly due to a lower cost compared to ones in town in Fussen. (The pictures of the lake were also a selling point!) The drive from Fussen took about 10 minutes. At check in, we were given an arrival gift of champagne and a personalized letter written in English. The room we were given was lake front with an amazing view of the lake and the Alps in the background. The mountains were reflected onto the still lake surface in the evening. The scenic view and the peaceful surroundings at the Seesptiz were well worth the extra driving time through Fussen back to Neuschawnstein castle. This is one hotel we wished we could have spent more nights at! Any future trip to this area will find us booking at the Seespitz again and spending more time exploring the outdoors around the town and lake. This hotel is a hidden gem of the Fussen area.

Wish we could have stayed a week

Unfortunatley, we did not get to the hotel until really late at night and then left early to go see the castles. We kept commenting on what a wonderful place this would be to stay longer. The town is pituresque. Our room felt like a cabin, the lake is stunning and it is an easy drive to the castles. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Wow! What a view.

Excellent location with a truly wonderful view over the lake. Clean, well decorated and comfortable room. Good hotel facilities- fitness room, sauna and pool. They also have washing machines and driers for their guests to use at no extra charge.The only criticism I have is that the second bedroom was a bit small for our two teenage boys ( one being 6' 3\"). The restaurant attached to hotel was friendly and the food tasted very good.

Unexpected surprise!

We booked this hotel on a whim and we're very happy we did. Spend a little extra money or ask for an upgrade to a lake view. It's spectacular! Little bottle of bubbly waiting in our room. Clean, spacious, slightly tiny bathroom but great balcony and view of the alps. The only thing that made this stay not perfect was the kitchenette was missing coffee filters -- coffee and the coffee maker but no filters! I would have loved a cup on the balcony in the morning. Anyway, it's about 5 minutes from the main town of Fussen but out of the way of all the hoards of tourist and much quieter. Walking path from the hotel down to the lake, walking distance to other eateries and the Italian restaurant is worth visiting. It appeared that the restaurant is really run by Italians! I had a great glass of Chianti, my hubby a regional beer and we split a fantastic pizza all by candle light watching the view of the mountains slip into the evening. We liked it so much that we tried to rearrange our plans to allow for more time there! It didn't work out but we'd love to return. Great value for money.

Short stay in Füssen

The Seespitz hotel suited us fine for a nights stay driving through Europe. A nice location at the beautiful lake and mountains and even activiteis in the basement. Dedicated car parking room as well. Some other guests complained about no air-conditioning, but I guess normally not a problem in Germany (this week hit 36 !). Only negative is that the hotel does not accept credit cards - even some restaurants in Füssen had the same practise - where have they been the last 20 years?! Very friendly personell!

A great less-touristy option for visiting Füssen

This was a great place outside of the touristy part of Füssen. Very comfortable place with lots of fun options like swimming (both in indoor pool and adjacent lake) and recreation room (ping pong, foosball, pool table). Very clean, comfortable. We had a room on the road side - was a little noisy when traffic was busy in the evening, but fine otherwise. Would probably recommend the lake side, because of the view and the quiet.

We were only there for one night, but it would be an excellent place for an extended stay, especially because of options like free washer/dryer, coffee/espresso in the lobby, internet. The location is lovely, with a great view from the restaurant patio across the lake at some beautiful mountains.

The restaurant was very good, with medium/upscale Italian cuisine, I think run by an Italian family. Fine food and very reasonable price.

The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They told us about all of the hotel options and made useful suggestions for getting to the castles and for eating.

Seespitz is a must if you are in the Fuessen area

First, we arrived after hours and the attendant had already gone home (or to bed... not sure which), but the key was left at the front desk with detailed directions as to where to park and how to find our room. We checked in easily the next day with zero problems. The room was exactly as described with two quaint bedrooms and a walk-in closet along with a pull-out couch for our extra guest. One of the bedrooms was perfect for our two young children and the other was larger and perfect for two adults. The \"children's\" room had a beds that had a short slide-in bedrail for the toddler and a taller slide-in bed rail that pretty much served as a crib for our youngest. Everything was clean and neat and the view of the lake and mountains was spectacular! We had our own balcony and the slats in the railing were perfectly spaced so no kids could fit through. they could wander on the balcony without fear. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to get away either romantically or with family and enjoy the area. Breakfast was not included in the cost of this particular room and there was no soap anywhere to be found in the apartment, but that could very well be part of the \"apartment\" aspect. The local shops carried all we needed so it worked out well. The apartment was also fully stocked with dishes, glasses, a small stove and fridge for any of your cooking needs. Again - a truly recommended place to stay. Appx 20 minutes drive to the Neuschwanstein Castle and a tunnel away from the Austrian border!

Highly recomendable hotel. Very clean ,the staff is friendly and helpfull. The italien Restaurant downstairs is worth dinning at.
We loved the view of the Lake and the mountains sitting on the Balcony for BKF and after dinner watching the sunset...
If we go back we would stay there again, it's worth it.

seespitz--wish we had more days scheduled there

We were touring the castles and had 1 night booked at Seespitz. The attractive thng for us was that we are a family of 5 (grown children) and they could accomodate us in one room, where most others will not allow more than 3 in a room. We had a 3 room apartment, and it was great. This was the best value of any accomodation we had on our trip to Europe. The room had been recently renovated, and very clean. This would be a great place for a destination vacation of some duration.
It is located on a beautiful lake, a few miles outside of Fussen. We had a car, so no problems gettng around, not sure how that would work if you didn't have a car.

Not serviced Apartments - bring plenty of food

Awesome location by the lake and close to magnificent castles but that would be it. Huge self catering rooms but not serviced and quite a trek into Fussen for supplies. Definitely need a car. We drove to 3 different towns one night at half six but no grocery shops open anyway, what a diaster, bed on an empty stomach like naughty kids!

Fint ophold med børn

Vi var 2 voksne og 3 børn på ferie. Vi betalte for udsigt til søen, hvilket var et godt valg, for ellers havde det været trist at opholde sig i lejligheden.
Poolen var god for børnene.
Lejligheden har ok, men det ene soveværelse var meget småt og med begrænset mulighed for udluftning.
Køkkenet havde kun to blus og en mikroovn. Så det begrænsede muligheden for at lave mad. Der var kun service til en omgang ad gangen. Så 6 stk.af hver.
Vi valgte ikke at spise på Seespitz restauranten, da der var en pizza restaurant. Vi havde håbet på et sydtysk menukort.
Det var et fint ophold med Alpegne tæt på.
