The electrical socket didn't work to charge my phone had to check every one to find one that worked. TV wouldn't turn on. There is hardly anyone working there. Bed very uncomfortable. We won't be going back.

I had no issues with this motel. It's named "Budget" so you know it's not fancy. However, Destiny at the front desk was very pleasant and my room was clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. If you're looking for a lot of bells and whistles, you won't find them here. But if no frills at a good price is your thing, I think you'll be satisfied.

My experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I arrived just 30 minutes before my booking time and mind you I live and 1hr and 30mins from the hotel. To add to the inconvenience, I was informed that my room isn’t ready until 2:15pm & I couldn’t park in the open parking lot and was directed to find parking elsewhere. When I unknowingly parked in a resident’s space, the manager’s wife appeared visibly upset and asked me to return at 2:15 PM, even though Expedia had confirmed a check-in time of 2 PM. I eventually received my room at 2:20 PM.

When I mentioned the delays and inconvenience, the manager’s wife dismissively responded, “You can’t expect everything to go your way,” and continued muttering under her breath. Her lack of professionalism was astonishing.

To make matters worse, the room itself was subpar. The pillows were not only uncomfortable but also had hair on them that resembled pubic hair, and they smelled as if they hadn’t been washed in weeks. The entire room was dusty, and the blankets were stiff and uncomfortable. After check out I wasn’t even met, they had told me leave the keys in their mailbox which is unsafe.
If it were possible to give zero stars, I would.

Expensive for a bare bones room. There was no safety deadbolt. There was no alarm clock, coffee pot or hair dryer. Room was freshly remodeled and smelled fine. Water was hot and clean. The cheapest mattress on earth was wrapped in plastic so no bed bugs but every time you moved you woke up. One very thin sheet that upon arrival we found two hairs. No extra blanket or way to adjust the heat however heat was nice on a 20 degree night. Cost high for bare bones.

This place is not for families at all!!! There were some suspicious activites going on. Thankfully our children did not notice anything at all and missed crazy things going on. I was not happy with the manger and talked to rudely and not like a customer at all!

Pleasant stay

Use to stay in the past before renovation and was pleased with the changes that were made. Love the changes to the floors and the bathroom. John and Destiny were very helpful and accommodating. The only suggestion that I have is to put a mirror in the bedroom so you can do your make-up out there if someone is using the restroom. I would recommend staying here was a pleasant stay.

WiFi does not work. Shows two bars but couldn’t even load a google page for a week. Had to go to Starbucks to use internet. Not even able to hotspot from my phone because only one bar service at motel.
Bed was so loud because of the plastic covering the mattress. Like sleeping on potato chip bags. No fitted sheet only two flat sheets and a mattress protector.
Staff was friendly so that was the only thing that made our week long stay tolerable. Motel is undergoing renovations so hope it improves, but I’m not willing to stay there again due to the annoying bed and no internet.

What you'd expect just worse. I knew what to expect but to not have under the bed vacuumed ever, no shower curtain, stained sheets and even worse mattress, reeking of smoke even though at checkin they told me not to smoke, asthma within 5 minutes from bad air and many other things I don't feel like typing but Ive never stayed at a fleabag since I was 19 but this is my fault. Buck up another $50 for somewhere else, you won't hate yourself all night like I did. If I had a carton of marlboros and some illicit drugs Id have maybe been ok.

Room was supposed to be nonsmokung but smelled like smoke. The pictures used are old from when the room was in good condition. There were holes punched in the walls and dirty stained walls that need repainted. Tv doesnt work. Water damage on bathroom walls. Mildew in the shower and all over the shower curtain. There is only a doorknob lock on the door, no deadbolt. Not worth the $113 we paid for a nite.

The room was the most disgusting place I ever stayed in! There was blood on the walls the floor wasn’t vacuum it was musky overall it was really nasty! He tried to give me a different room and it was worse than the first one that I was in never again! I ended up booking a different hotel because he refused to give me a refund!!

New owners. The last owners were great. I arrived late - around 11PM - the way I have for several years on business trips. The guy told ne he has no reservation for me. I showed him my confirmation but he still said no! Wow, I asked him if he had a vacancy. He did and charged me five bucks more than my original reservation. Not very good business at all. Just canceled my upcoming two day reservation.

A couple of friends and I visited the beach and decided last minute to stay overnight. We booked a room for 4 adults. There was a total of 6 of us, I told my friends to visit our room while they looked for another room. We weren’t 10 mins before the man working the front desk called up to the room to ask why there was more than 4 people in the room. He barely spoke English and was very hard to understand. I told him they were just visiting until they could find their own room. 10 more minutes he comes knocks on the door and asks me to come downstairs to speak with his boss. I can barely understand him but he was harassing me telling my friends to leave and their is no other rooms available. The only room he said was available for only 1-2 hours and didn’t have a working bathroom. The service here is horrible, there is no deadbolt on the door just a normal door lock. The beds are very uncomfortable, flat, and you can feel the springs. Pillows are flat, I inspected under sheets for bed bugs which surprisingly didn’t find any. There was crumbs and stains though. The room is very small and dirty. I found pieces of candy from a previous guest between the bed and night stand. The bathroom is also dirty and the towels are small and you do not receive a very large amount. This place was disgusting, even for a last minute place to stay at shore. Cost $239 for ONE night.

The building was old and in very poor condition. There were actual holes punched through some walls. EVERYTHING was old a dilapidated. I wore flip flops so as not to touch the floor, I went down the street to Big Lots to buy new bed linens so that we didn’t have to touch the ones on the bed. I’ve been camping in cleaner places. The room ended up costing 270 dollars. .......seriously, 270 dollars. Don’t even think about this one. It’s a no brainer.

When you 1st walked into the Room the window unit said 60ﾟ. It felt nice and cool. Within 10 minutes, myself as well as by 2 children were sweating like crazy. There was a table and chair set up that appeared that it was half of a science table from a high school circa 1990. The bed frame was made out of plywood which was exposed. Very classy joint

I dont know where they got this picture of the lobby. Its not what it looked like at all. I walked in and stayed an hour and drove home. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. We were only going to sleep there for one night. I took a shower to take the sun tan lotion off. I had one little bar of soap a hand towel and a wash cloth. No bath towel to speak of it was so small. No towel for the tile floor. I never sat down. The place sceved me so bad. The table had hunk of wood carved out of it like someone threw it at some point. The wall were cement blocks. The flimsy door lock was not safe at all. Anyone could just turn the door handle and walk in if they wanted. I would never stay here again.

The second shift front desk personal didn't want to check me in. He told me my card was declined, but as soon as the third shift person came in it worked. But before that they both argued in front of me for 5 - 10 minutes. The bath cloths were stained very badly. There was mattress in the hallways and in the parking lot. The internet didn't work at all. There was a guest that checked in before me. Her toilet was overflowing and the front desk guy gave her a plunger. And said " Don't let it get on the carpet ". The pricing for the hotel was outrageously high. But I had no other choice for that day.

"Budget" is an overstatement.

I read the reviews for this property and decided to reserve a room. We did not plan to spend much time at our hotel, so accommodations were not of utmost importance. Next time I will spend a little more for something better.
Check-in was quick and the (one) staff was friendly. The hotel was close to everything (restaurants, stores, beach). Those were the only two positives.
The room was pretty small, smaller than it seemed to me in the pictures. This wasn't a huge deal. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. We stayed two nights and I woke up both mornings with an aching back. There were potato chips in the drawer in the nightstand (gross). There were used wash cloths and empty soap wrappers between the wall and the sink in the bathroom (grosser), and there was a bright blue piece of chewed up gum in the radiator (grossest). The room was dusty and looked like nothing had been thoroughly cleaned for a while.
I was on a trip with my family, however I would have been disappointed that there were empty drug baggies in the stairwell even if I was by myself. I told the manager and he obviously did not know what they were (even though the powder granules in the baggies was a giveaway) and he told me that "people buy this stuff and you can't control it" and that the hotel was a public property. That's funny, last time I checked, hotels weren't considered public property.
If I was going to give a rating out of five I would give a two. I definitely will not book here again.

Overall bad hotel. Smelled like smoke even though it’s non smoking. Cigarette burns in the sheets and smelled of mildew as well. Disgusting bathroom with no toilet seat, small shower, barley any outlets, no WiFi, walls were paper thin and patched up as though someone punched a hole in it. Needs better lock, and overal creepy vibe. I guess that’s what you get when you stay someplace with the word “budget” in it! You get what you pay for!

Disappointing Experience

Outside is presentable BUT...rooms are: very small, furnishings old/ tattered: curtains torn & dirty, bedspread (cigarette??) burn holes, apt. size refrigerator positioned outside of the square in furniture intended for it exposing water-stained insides...eyesore, tile in shower moldy, sheets top & bottom for full-size rather than Queen bed, carpet dirty, luggage stand mounted on the wall 5ft above floor(!!), no closets, air-conditioner wouldn't work properly, one (lamp base) electrical outlet available in entire room, 2 towels+2 washcloths (proprietor was nasty when second day I asked for more) & management provided iron & small board but cautioned that he'd send other clientele to my room if I kept it overnight. I checked in at 10pm!!!...so seems they only had one iron & the board.
This was not an inexpensive place!!! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!
