Great location near the beach, nice garden with pool. Zoutelande is a 30-minute walk through the dunes. Would definitely stay here again.

Make sure to rent bikes at the hotel in advance. They only have a very limited supply.

Not worth the 4 stars

Staff was very hard working especially considering the very hot temperature.
Definitely not worth the 4 stars or the price since there was no air conditioning anywhere. No cofeepot or small refrigerator.

Excellent stay on our way north.

We have stayed here twice now in the past few years. The service is always good, the restaurant food is excellent (although a bit expensive). We stayed en route to somewhere else out of season but the lovely garden with pool and the proximity to the beach would make it a great summer hangout.

Such a beautiful hotel (duplex room)

This is one of the nicest Fletcher hôtels. We had a great time in the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, very recently redone, with style and lots of space. The bathrooms look great.
Book the breakfast buffet, which is exceptional.

Nice place to be, Value for money

Very good location in the dunes very close to the see. Great Hotel, nice staff, very good kitchen, very clean, family atmosphere. Nice swimming pool outside but heated.

More restaurant rather than hotel.

This is restaurant with hotel, not a hotel with restaurant.
Cons: there were so many disappointments with this hotel:
- Upon checkout they didn’t bother to speak English with us.
- They don’t provide electric kettle or coffeemaker in the room, not even in the lobby. If you want to drink something warm – go buy coffee in their restaurant.
- When we arrived, the room was very cold (it was December!), they didn’t even bother to turn on the battery. The room has only 1 radiator with a faucet – you need to turn the knob to intuitively increase temperature. Bathroom has another radiator. We had to sit in outwear for 30 minutes until it became warm enough in the room to take off coats.
- When we reserved room, we opted for a room with balcony because of the promised view. However, when we arrived to almost empty hotel (in December), we were given the only room with the balcony that has no view. While all other empty rooms with balconies had unobstructed view, our room had view of an outdated roof.
Pros:
very good location, near beautiful beach; good breakfast; nice lobby lounge with fireplace – everything a client of the restaurant would need.

Nice hotel. Enjoyed being able to rent bicycles. Could be helpful to have some activities available in the hotel for rainy days. Just a suggestion, but overall good.

Good hotel far from any town but close to beach

Close to the beach. Strangely the tarrifs for the hotel fluctuate on a daily basis so beware. The hotel is ideal if you're with your family as it has an outdoor swimming pool access to the beach nearby plus cycles can be hired on site.

Perfect family rooms...though expensive

This hotel had all that a family wanted from a beach holiday. Its a five min walk from the beach dunes and we had a lot to do there. The room was very spacious as we had a two level room perfect for a family of four with two television sets. Breakfast was good and thee was a kids play room with wii and other puzzles etc. wifi was good and parking was free. The bad thing was they charged for the sauna and lawn tennis.The swimming pool was outdoor and that was bad on a windy day as kids could not go into 26degree water as it was cold,

Great getaway to the beach!

The hotel was a great venue for a weekend with nature. It's proximity to the beach and dunes is fantastic. The breakfast was great value and the hotel restaurant was excellent! We would make the journey again just to have dinner!

Fpr einen Kurztrip ist das Hotel absout in Ordnung. Lage perfekt und alles vorhanden was man benötigt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Ich selbst würde aber nicht länger als 3 Nächte bleiben.

Zimmer: Einfach eingerichtet aber schön un alles vorhanden. Doesmal war unser Bett nicht so durchgelegen wie beim letzten mal. Leider etwas Annutzungen besonders an der Treppe (Suite) inkl Staub, Handlauf locker und im Bad viele Abnutzungen z.b. rostige Heizung und Fugen dreckig.
Schön finde ich das man Kaffee und Teestation im Zimmer hat aber wäre schön nicht nur schwarzen Tee dort liegen zu haben.
Bitte mal das Gästeservicebuch/Ordner überarbeiten. Sehr veraltet und der Aufbau auch nicht so toll und die Events von 2022 sind noch dort zu finden.

Terrasse bräuchte mal eine Renovierung. Die Möbel waren diesmal okay, beim letzten mal sehr veraltet.

Personal: freundlich und zuvorkommend

Bar/Restaurant: Leider diesmal nur eine kleine Karte mit 3 geruchten in jedem Bereich und dann nur auf niederländisch. War etwas blöd. Essen war lecker aber erwas zu wenig. Waren bei 2 Abenden nur 1x dort essen.

Frühstück; für drm Preis und die Kategorie alles okay und vorhanden. Es ist sauber, wird ständig aufgefüllt. Service nett.

Eines müssen die Niederländer lernen, das wenn es schneit oder glatt ist, das die Gehwege und auch besonders vor dem Hotel geräumt/gestreut werden müssen. War eine Zumutung ans Auto zu kommen oder fürs Ein und Ausladen, besonders auch für ältere Personen.

Prima ligging op wandelafstand van het strand. Echt een aanrader.
Enige minpuntje: het hotel adverteert met milieubeloftes waaronder herbruikbare mokken voor koffie/thee op de kamer, maar we kregen kartonnen bekers.

Net hotel, dicht bij het strand wel voor mensen met goede conditie traplopen bij duinen is lang, hoog en pittig.

Goed ontbijt, redelijk avond eten persoonlijk mis ik gezonde voeding, mooie ligging, lekkere bedden.

Over het algemeen is ons verblijf goed bevalling. De communicatie met het personeel en de receptie was slecht Dingen die stuk gegaan waren en een vraag voor even de badkamer schoon te maken met schone handdoeken is wel opgeschreven maar niet gedaan.
Wat we miste was een handgreep in bij de douche om veilig in en uit te stappen. Voor de rest was het goed

Vorige week viel het diner wat tegen, was niet warm en de keuze van de chef om over te stappen naar \"truffel\" (altijd nep) aardappelen was slecht, zeker nadat deze in de magnetron waren opgewarmd. Ze waren te droog en vielen uit elkaar. Personeel echter is heel behulpzaam.

Die Zimmer sind weder gepflegt noch sauber. Wir waren wirklich schockiert wie heruntergekommen ein 4 Sterne hotel sein kann. Spinnenweben an den decken, Stuhlgang Rückstände an der Wand hinter der Klobürste, Gelbe Flecken an der Duscharmatur und fleckige Vorhänge haben uns den Aufenthalt versaut.
Außerdem war die Heizung leider auch ohne Funktion.

Das Frühstück war okay und das Abendessen konnten wir leider nicht testen. Die Lage des Hotels ist aber echt gut.


Insgesamt können wir dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen und werden es auch nicht mehr buchen. Für leute die aber in die Region möchten können wir das Fletscher Hotel Kamperduin empfehlen. Das ist zwar von der selber Kette, aber viel moderner und besonders auch viel sauberer.

Von allen Fletcher Hotels die wir bisher besuchten, war dies das Beste bisher. Die Zimmer die wir hatten waren toll mit der Terrasse obig. Einzig die Treppe nach oben war Riskant. Der Empfang war etwas seltsam, wir hatten den Eindruck der Mensch an der Rezeption könnte Deutsch, doch die Konversation in Englisch war wohl wichtiger. Der Frühstücksraum bräuchte mehr Licht und Deko so wie im Restaurant. Wenn Sie einmal im Restaurant gegessen haben, verstehen sie was ich meine. Alles in allem, gerne wieder.

Schönes Hotel direkt an Düne und Strand

Es war insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir erhielten für unsere zwei Nächte ein Upgrade auf ein Familienzimmer und waren sehr angetan. Schöne Terrasse, saubere und ansprechende Zimmer, etwas steile Treppe, etwas kleines Bad, 30cm mehr im Gang des Bades würden schon Wunder wirken. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück (ich würde mich noch ein bisschen mehr über frisch gepressten Orangensaft und essfertig geschnittenes Obst ohne Schalen freuen, aber keine essentielle Kritik). Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Angebot in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. In der Nebensaison kommen wir gerne wieder.

Toller Urlaub

Wir waren jetzt zum 2. X im Hotel Zuiderduin und haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Ein übriges hat natürlich auch die tolle Landschaft in Südholland dazu beigetragen.

Das Problem war das Zimmer: sehr kleines Zimmer, sehr kleines Bett (140 cm breit), kein direkter Blick nach draußen, muffiger Geruch (Schimmel). Ich kann das Hotel nicht empfehlen, auch wenn die Lage toll ist.

Es ging uns ja nicht ums Hotel …

etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, sehr hellhörig, aber eben nur über die Düne und man ist am Wasser. Frühstück mit in guter Qualität - schön wären Brötchen in Bäckereiqualität gewesen … das Zimmer war zu Beginn von der Sauberkeit in orfnung - während der Anwesenheit blieb einiges liegen und es knirschte gewaltig…

Sejour de 4 nuits, hotel très bien placé pour exlorer la region à velo.( garage à velo sécurisé sur place👍)superbe plage et promenade juste à côté .
Hotel propre, reception, restaurant et salle du petit déjeuner agréables et décorés avec goût.
Personnels de la reception, du restaurant et du petit dejeuner très souriants,aimables et disponibles.
Trés bon restaurant .Buffet du petit dejeuner bon ,varié et bien approvisionné.
Chambre agréable.

Prima Fletcher dichtbij het strand waar zelfs ook nog een beachclub bij was. Wij hadden een suite wat betekende dat je 2 verdiepingen hebt. Lekker ruim dus.
Enigste nadeel was dat de laadpaal voor de elektrische auto niet lekker werkte. Voor zo'n uithoek betekende het voor ons dus de volgende ochtend bijladen in Goes helaas.....

Super schöner Kurztrip am Meer

Wir lieben es ,wenn wir Hotels „erwischen“ die keine Teppiche haben!Dies ist hier der Fall!Wir hatten die Suite,super schön super geräumig (Loft!) mit Wohnzimmer und Balkon oben!Die Lage (zum Strand) ist super und mit den hoteleigenen Fahrrädern kann man problemlos die Lage erkunden.Frühstücksbüffet ist gut und im Restaurant kann man ebenfalls gut dinieren.Kurzum ein tolles Hotel wo alles stimmt,inclusive Preis/Leistung!Absolut empfehlenswert!

Séjour merveilleux entre la nature et la plage

On a adoré cet hôtel, très bien placé, calme et agréable. La chambre en deux étages et avec une jolie terrasse était très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est très savoureux avec plein de fruits. Le sauna, top.
Ils ont une piscine fantastique, avec une zone de relax et ouverte même en fin septembre, on a bien profité pour y nager. La plage est juste derrière, a quelques minutes a pied. Il y a des chemins de vélo qui partent de devant l'hôtel et mènent aux différents villes de la presqu’ile, et aussi un sentier sûr les dunes avec des vues spectaculaires. Parfait pour découvrir et profiter de la Zélande.

Een enkele overnachting is te kort om een volledig beeld te krijgen van de accommodatie.
Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De algehele staat van de accommodatie ziet er gedateerd uit. De kamers waren goed, maar ook hier een gedateerde algemene indruk waardoor het luxe gevoel wat je zou moeten hebben bij een hotel ontbreekt.
Een minpunt van onze kamer was de schoonheid van de kamer. Er was redelijk wat stof en het bad was niet schoon.
In de avond hebben we er gegeten. Ook hier weer zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het menu is aardig, maar heeft niet de kwaliteit wat de prijs doet vermoeden.
In de kamer zijn bijna alle ramen in de kamer voorzien van een verduisteringsgordijn op 1 na. Daar hing luxaflex voor het raam, die redelijk ver voor het raam was bevestigd, waardoor het 's ochtends toch snel erg licht werd.
Het ontbijt was standaard en niet speciaal.

Al met al wel een fijn verblijf gehad, maar ik zal er niet heel snel terugkeren.

De bedden zijn vreselijk het ontbijt was een ramp je kon uit 3 ontbijten kiezen heel summier croissantje om vragen 1 gebakken ei te lang op de bakplaat het was of een hard broodje alleen wit of gesneden bruine boterham scrabbelde
Ei in piepklein kommetje en koud was alles op 1 bord gemikt thuis nog beter echt vreselijk witte kwark uitgesmeerd in een schaaltje zag er niet uit dat was het dan en dat kost samen 29.00 ik zeg niet doen

De kamers zijn prima, het personeel eveneens. Alleen het restaurant voor het avondeten is ondermaats. Smaakloos eten, garing van verschillende gerechten niet oké. De keuken moet echt beter. De bediening kan ook een tandje scherper, een kwartier na binnenkomst nog niet zijn aangesproken voor iets te drinken of een kaart is niet van deze tijd. Terwijl er meer dan voldoende personeel aanwezig was (5 stuks) op 10 gevulde tafels lijkt me goed te doen.

Mooie ligging. Gebouw zelf heeft weinig uitstraling, maar is netjes opgeknapt en goed ingericht. Kamer heeft geen airco. In eetzalen hangen oudere airco’s die tocht veroorzaken. Mooie zwemweide. Prima bistro/restaurant. Goede prijs/kwaliteit hotel & restaurant.

Das Hotel ist absolut veraltet und hellhörig. Das Frühstück ist qualitativ eine Katastrophe. Außenanlagen ungepflegt, Außenmobiliar veraltet und dreckig.
Früh morgens drang widerlicher Küchengeruch durch die offenen Fenster. Das Bad hatte eine mangelhafte Beleuchtung.
Das Personal machte einen unmotivierten Eindruck.
Man hat den Eindruck, dass das Management dieses Hotel der Fletcher-Gruppe schlichtweg abwirtschaften will.

Spijtig : Geen airco, geen ijskast op de kamer. Badkamer aan de kleine kant.
Alles netjes.
Lekker ontbijt en lekker diner. Mooi restaurant. Buitenterras (ontbijt, lunch ??? diner ???). Nette kamer (+ terras) indien met zicht op tuin en zwembad !!!!! Zeer mooie locatie, rustig gelegen, speeltuintje, springkasteel, verwarmd zwembad, kinderzwembad.
Geen lift aanwezig.
Prachtig om te fietsen, wandelen, vlakbij strand en strandpaviljoen zeer OK.
