I stayed in room 258 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. There was no heating in the room, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable, especially as we were traveling with three children and my pregnant wife.

Additionally, the room was not clean, which added to our frustration.

Overall, this was a terrible experience, and because of these issues, I will not be returning to this hotel. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your services for future guests.

Room never got cleaned, previous people who stopped in our room left a cup of water down the side of the bed, my wife couldn't use her oxygen machine as there were no plug sockets next to the bed the staff couldn't offer an extension lead and wasnt bothered about her situation

No heating whatsoever in winter, I had to buy my own heater. Walls had major rust lines from radiator, the food hall was the messiest area I’ve ever seen and I got woken up by people next door having an actual fight with arguments and screaming. Would not recommend

The general cleanliness around the hotel was lacking, in the room the radiator required bleeding meaning there was no heating for the first hour and half. While this was addressed prior to us going to sleep I feel radiators should be checked when rooms are being prepared. There was also no radiator in the bathroom making it cold.

The room itself was extremely clean and warm the downfall is you hear absolutely everything going on outside the rooms in the hallways and other rooms and we were woken up by all the fire alarms at 2:30am and the hotel guys couldn’t turn it off so it was going off for half an hour, so that’s it I was awake from then and couldn’t get back to sleep, I think we should of been offered some kind of compensation but we didn’t even get an apology

The hotel was good. The staff was so polite and friendly dinner and breakfast those food to feed two hotels lots of choice. The only one thing I would say for dinner they had no juice for children you had to pay for that so we had to give him water

The pipe in are room was hot but the radiator didn’t get hot.

Room was awful. Huge rolled cobwebs around ceiling. Hotel information covered in stains and food debris. Window sils dirty with black and mus shaped due to water damage. Bathroom freezing as dbl glazed window is broken and doesnt vlose properly allowing West wind off coast in. Bed mattress had little support and duvet was stained and marked. Not wasting time going on. Corridors not cleaned and had debris left for 3 days i was there. AVOID. They want to charge you to park in their car park and the pool facilities you also have to pay for.

I was told we could order which i did but it never showed up. This was not the hotels fault.
Toilet was making noises which so.eone came to look at, we ended up moving rooms. The Man was lovely and did all he could. Service has been great.
The bed and pillows were very very hard!
No hot water in the room for a shower. Ran the water for 10mins and no hot water came out.
I paid for park before checking in and paid full price. It should be made clearer to pay at reception for people stopping to get the discount.

Room was warm and adequate. Beds comfy. Staff are helpful and pleasant. No soap in the dispenser, dust and fluff on the skirting boards. Evening meal was reasonable. Breakfast was dire! Never had a breakfast were everything in the plate tasted off. I think Norbreck cook with WD40. Even the milk tasted weird. And the tea bags taste like they contain sawdust. Would stay there again, but we will be in Wetherspoons for breakfast.

Hotel on outside approach and initial check in is run down, outdated and grubby.

Not to the point that it’s unbookable, but even for £80 a night basic cleanliness is an absolute minimum and effort had been made sporadically at best. That’s being generous.

The hotel is run down and dirty, well in need of a lick of paint and a deep clean. In my room, the bathroom bin contained used tampons, and there was dirt and grime on every surface.
The mattress and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.
The staff seemed constantly to complain about the state of the hotel and how everything was falling apart.
The worst part of the visit was that it wasn't even Halloween, yet there were Christmas decorations and Christmas music constantly playing.
Would advise anyone thinking of staying here to think twice.

Health hazard ....beeds shutting down

Absolutely disgusting that they can charge money for this absolute dump the minute i walked into the room it made my skin Crawl i booked to stay with my 3 y.o daughter. As soon as i seen and smelt the room i took i removed my little girl and went to reception in the filthy lift to complain. Unfortunately we was running late for her show and tge que at reception was so long with complainers that we just had to jump straight into the car and go. Once we returned a few hours later i went back to the room collect our case and went to reception to inform them id be checking out as its a health hazard i explained about the pubic hairs in the bed bath and sink the damp carpet and the food crumbs and confetti all over the carpet the walls were marked with what looked like bogies and excrament around the beds. This plave needs a swift visit from Health inspectors and shutting down !! No refund or apologies offered ....disgrace !

This time,Day 1 We’d checked in online but had to stand in line to check in once we arrivedAnd no tv remote.Day 2 found no soap/ body wash in dispenser. Night 3 noise night, upstairs moving furniture around all hours. Next door room poorly child coughing & crying all night. Then the most exciting night 4,
Woke at 3am to warm water pouring though bathroom ceiling. No working phone in room.So had to move rooms. Apparently the heating system. As yet we’ve had no recompense.
However breakfast nice as always and beds comfortable.

Plenty of parking but hotel in need of a refurb. Window seals were gone so room was drafty and freezing cold. Hotel did provide a plug in radiator to take the edge off, luckily we had extra beds so doubled up the duvet. Corridors all smelt of weed. Staff were excellent very friendly. Police were onsite due to man drunk asleep behind the wheel of his car; it was 1pm. It's rough. Exhibition area was excellent.

The staff were friendly. The whole place needs a bit more tlc being given in decorating etc. You can see they are trying to bring it up to date. What I found was I didn't like the restaurant after I tried it the first nights stay. It reminded me of a school hall. The coffee shop was lovely but could only open when restaurant shut in the mornings. The bar seemed to open when it wanted to so no one could plan to meet friends or work colleagues before 3pm. Had bar meal 2 days running which was nice. Tried to order a third time but said he wasn't cooking and gave me directions to the chippy behind the hotel. The cabaret singers were okay for free entertainment. Was a bit annoying being asked to play Bingo about 3 times a night. If you don't like Bingo, you don't like Bingo. On the whole I had a fantastic time but there are some big flaws that can't always be ignored.

Extremely disappointing

Had to queue for 30 mn at least to check in. Reception poorly staffed when one considers the size of the hotel.
Tried to check in on line, as recommended, but impossible to do so before our departure. Nothing worked !!!
On arrival, discovered that one had to pay to use the swimming pool. This was not mentioned in the on line description of the hotel. Therefore we did not use the pool as we looked forward to .....
Had to pay £10 a day parking fee, which, again, was not mentioned in the on line description of the hotel.
Our basic bedroom did not have a shaver socket, nor an extractor fan to get rid of the steam in the bathroom.

The room was filthy the bed had stained bedding which clearly had not been changed. I complained to the hotel reception who took me to 2 other rooms which were just as bad. I told the manager we could not stay as the rooms were so bad and that we wanted a refund. He said we would have to take that up with Hotels.com. We left the hotel and booked at the premier inn instead.

Waited almost an hour to get the room key despite being checked in online. Then got a dirty room ( beddings filthy, bathroom dirty) which was changed to a different room where outside of the window there was a noisy AC engine ( or something). Night we couldn’t sleep from the noise and the rock hard pillow and mattress didn’t help either.
The hotel was charging for the swimming pool facilities which was not mentioned on the Expedia website. It was overall an unpleasant experience. We checked out a day earlier because we couldn’t afford another sleepless night.

We liked the pool area of the hotel and the large carpark, we had no trouble parking near our room. Breakfast was really good.
BUT we were in an accessible room as my sister has health problems.
Unknown to us she had touched the alarm call button by her bed.
The light was on outside the room but no one came to see if everything was ok. Luckily for us we were all right but it could have been a single person in trouble. We mentioned this to a maintenance man and he said people are up and down the corridors all night.!!!
So why did someone not check on us when the light was on.
Perhaps these call buttons need to be connected to an alarm by reception.

Upon arrival there was only one member of staff on the desk for check in which meant check in took 20 minutes stood in a Que on a hot day 28” outside which wasn’t fun, need more staff on desks! The woman defo needs a pay rise doing it all alone!
Got to the room there was foundation marks in the bathroom by the mirror and on the shower curtain, hair in the bath (not great on the cleaners part, weird musky smell in the room again a good scrub would of fixed it,
The hall way had rubbish/towels laying around so maybe add in another cleaning schedule to avoid this

Just a few tips that could make the place much better other than that was okay
If these things are fixed I’d happily stay again

We had 3 rooms. One had not been cleaned and was still dirty but this was sorted. Our sink didn’t drain so used the bath which had hair in the plug. Bed was really uncomfortable and a stain on our bed sheet Noisy at night (could hear snoring, next room was smoking, was woken at 1.30am by security in the hall way to sort it out. It didn’t happen the next night but was woken at similar time by someone talking, on going 1.30-4.30pm luckily I have ear plugs but could still hear it.. Very thin walls, can hear toilets flushing and others showers during the night. Drinks at the bar are in plastic cups but a good selection of drinks, can have beer in a bottle.
Breakfast was good. Lots of it staff worked hard to top it up and clean the tables. Found staff to be friendly and helpful. lots of litter, cigarettes ends outside.The outside was a mess. Lots of parking and really good location for Blackpool sites and tram outside the hotel. Had already seen the reviews so not surprised. Would not stay here again.

I've been to the Norbreck before. Its basic, but fine for a base to explore Blackpool Cleveleys and Fleetwood. The bar, Copper Face Jacks was only open once during my 5 day stay, and when i asked why it was closed, i was told it was due to lack of staff. Apart from that, it was fine and i will be back.

No brush, toothpaste, soap, shower gel, tissue were provided. These are basic things to get in a hotel room but unfortunately nothing was given. When asked they replied “ they don’t offer these things”. And how come it’s acceptable for guest to pay for car park I have no idea. Customers need to pay for car park when they are staying in the hotel make no sense.
