Great deal on this hotel and they let me pay a little extra for a late check out since my flight wasn’t until sunset. It’s a bit outside of the downtown area but I was able to walk to the beach just fine. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. It’s not the Ritz but the price is right and was comfy. Even had a balcony

My watch has been stolen from my room!!!
I would say be careful and don't leave any belongings when going out of your room. My watch has been stolen while I was was out going to the beach in my last day of stay in Elysso hotel. I realised that I lost my watch when I arrived at the airport. I called the hotel and reported the problem to the hotel receptionist . I have been promised that the hotel manager will contact me, but no one did. I called three times after I got back home and no one bothered to contact me.

I stayed at Hotel Elysso for two nights and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
**Room Issues:**
From the first day, the shower faucet was a big problem. No matter if you turn it to the right, left, or keep it in the middle, only extremely hot water comes out—so hot it could burn you! There was no way to get cold or even warm water.

The Hotel is not in a bad location if you have a car. The Main road that is sits on seems to be used for Boy Racers on their very loud Cars and Bikes. 3 Nights in a row until 2am. Also the Bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete and the shower does not get warm water. When I asked about warm water I was told to leave the tap running for 5 min and it will warm up. Well it did not and that is such a waste of water. So much potential though.

Overall, for the price i paid, i would recommend staying here. The staff are friendly and the room was nice enough.
However, only two complaints i have is with how the air conditioning works, reception control all of it. You can call them up to turn it on, but this is an odd process. The swimming pool was also closed, it only opens over the summer. This makes sense, but the temperature was 28 degrees in May.

Budget hotel that - punches above its weight.
This is my second or third stay at Elysso hotel in Larnaca and most likely not my last as the price / quality ratio exceeds expectations. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is also convenient for grocery shopping as it is located between two supermarkets - including a budget friendly Lidl. The beach is a 20-25 minute walk or 5-minute bus ride. I didn't use the pool, but if you don't want to walk to the beach there a rooftop pool available for use.
Housekeeping and front desk staff are very friendly and accessible as the front desk is open 24/7.

This is a lovely little hotel a short walk out of town…. It was simple and no frills but did the job…. The aircon situation was a bit odd as it is controlled by reception staff and often does not come on and doesn’t turn off…. But other than that it was great 👍

The hotel room was quite difficult for me to breathe in for some reason and smelt a bit musty. It reminded me of an old hotel room in the UK that is specifically designed to keep the heat in due to the cold - unfortunately in Cyprus this isn’t necessary and lighter fabrics and an airy feel is what is needed. The reception staff were nice and the room served its purpose for me.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the room is large. It is also clean with a balcony and a clean refrigerator. The bathroom has hot water 24/7 which is nice as not all budget hotels In Cyprus have hot water when the sun goes down. Two supermarkets are located close by (5-10 minute walk) including a budget friendly Lidl.

Solo stay for international football
Booked single room, got large double. Air con not working and not fixed in time there but large room fan provided. Bit far out from Finikoudes but stepcounter enjoyed it and reflected in price. Breakfast is basic but enough and at good price. Worth the price paid and got my purposes overall.

Well, I booked to a guest of mine because it was near my house. I booked a double room for 2.but at the arrival main office blond lady in a rude way said that it was forbidden that 2 people get inside the room. Then I explained that I booked a double room which is more expensive than a single room for 1 person and in that case she owes thr price difference between single and double.Then she retracted and said nothing nothing... You also can not control the A/C of the room. If you want to stop or turn you need to contact reception for that and it is not practical at all.... Breakfast is a poor. Anyways if location is not an issue. Plenty of other hotels could do it better.

Everything was fairly clean. The room was spacious, the staff was kind and WiFi worked well. The location is not very convenient, given that you need 20 minutes by foot to reach the town centre. But the neighbourhood is quiet and there are two big supermarkets in the vicinity. The only big drawback was the bed with its bad mattress which affected the quality of sleep here.

First of all the room was spacious clean and comfortable, the location is ok, no more than 15 mins walking from larnaca downtown and beach which is great, however there were two things that wouldn’t make me comeback first of all, in order to give you your key they request you give them the passport of everything staying in the room, I can understand a deposit for the keycard or even maybe some kind of national OD you may carry but the passport made us quite uneasy. The other thing is that they have a central air conditioning for all the rooms, so basically if a guest request the aircon to be lowered or rauses (temperature) it’s going to affect everyone

If your on a budget this hotel is a good choice as it offers good value for the price. Room was clean and had a compact refrigerator. Not located in the center of Larnaca, but it is conventiently located between 2 supermarkets (5 minutes walking each direction). Also, the staff were friendly and available 24/7 for any assistance.

The personal was ok. About room \"studio,\" is really different like at photos. The bed in not comfortable. Mattress was so hard and dirty. I book more days because i had problems with flat just after I was really happy not stay more. The people from reception are so nice they help me also after with charge me phone battery

basic and you need a cab to get to the beach
This hotel is very basic - the rooms are clean - air conditioning is managed downstairs so I woke up cold in the middle of each night of my stay. The breakfast for 6 euros is horrible and is set - ham, cheese and egg still in the shell and cold! The coffee is horrible packets of nescafe and you get toast - if you want just toast you still pay 6 euros!

There is not much nearby so you do have to travel to eat out etc - I would not stay here again.

14 nights at the Elysso Hotel (winter)
Two of us stayed at the Elysso over Christmas and New Year for 14 nights. The staff ate friendly and helpful. Room is basic but has a fridge, lots of cupboard/wardrobe space and the bed was harder than we are used to but we slept well. The aircon is controlled by reception just cal 01 and tell them what you want. Its no problem. The only thing I would improve is the breakfasts as they were exactly the same every single day. Nutritious but a help yourself selection of cereals would have been a welcomed change. Other than that, we would stay here again. Its affordable, is 15 minutes walk from the beach and there is a Supermarket close by.

Dissapointing Larnaka
The room service was not good, first day, there was no soap, no shower gel, also only one towel left one day, the room was not cleaned properly with bed not made, we did the bed ourselves, sheets not changed all week. Most of all the bed had an old mattress which had springs that were sticking up and making sleeping almost impossible, at the end of the stay I was glad to go home as my back was killing me. Earlier this year we stayed in Pathos which was excellent, so I can say that Cyprus is a lovely place but certain areas I would not visit again.
