Beautiful views. However rooms, at least our disappointing panoramic sea view room, can be very different from the hotel pictures. Suggest inquire prior to arrival. Also rooms can be across the street in separate building.
Surrounding area has nice restaurants and friendly staff, less so at this property.

The location is good and I like the private beach area. The room I was in could have been better for the price. TV was attach in a way that you cannot watch it. Some noises from the bathroom alarm all night, WiFi terrible not working the majority of the time ( connected but not able to surf). Just a small note: in Italy you need a real coffee machine. Not an automatic one or a capsule one.

We would have liked to use the beach; unfortunately that was impossible due to tides, waves, and the very narrow strip of actual sandy beach. But it was great to watch the waves crashing on the cliffs from the various outdoor seating/lounging areas.

Drawbacks: Shower stall could use a deep cleaning to get rid of the heavy mildew in the tile grout, Bed is a bit unsupportive. Stairs all over the property making this property not accessible to individuals with mobility concerns.

I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel il Nido. The views of the ocean were stunning from the restaurant at the hotel and from sunning deck, which were just down some steps as you head down toward the beach. The beach is small and only accessible when it is low tide, but the views are stunning. The rooms were nice and clean and the views from our hotel room were nice. You could see the ocean but there were electrical wires that were in the way of the view. If you are driving a car, you definitely want to stay here as parking in this area is a premium, and they have a lot of parking space, up on the hill behind the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and hotel staff was so helpful. The hotel is on the side of a hill, so there are steps that you need to go down to get to the reception area. There are several nearby restaurants that are within walking distance of about a block or less.

Nice B&B hotel if you don't mind the steps

Hotel is split by the road from Lerici to Tellaro. Most rooms are on the opposite of the road to the main part of the hotel. Not suitable for the frail or disabled due to many steps and no lifts.
Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Superior rooms have a terrace with sea views, sun loungers and a small table. You are not allowed to keep food or drinks in the room fridge. Don't know why.
Good choice of food for continental breakfast but no hot food and no self service (due to Covid rules). Nice sea views from restaurant. Breakfast is the only meal available in the hotel but there are some excellent restaurants in Tellaro (approx 1/4 mile away) and Lerici (approx 2 miles away).
There are lots of steps from the rooms to the main hotel and then down to the (very small) private beach. There are several (south-facing) terraces on the way down to the beach for sitting and lounging and a small bar just above the beach for drinks and snacks.

This hotel was a short walk into the heart of the beautiful village of Tellaro. Parking was very convenient and secure. Clean room with excellent air-conditioning. Pleasant hotel staff. Easy bus to Lerici to catch Cinque Terre ferry for a day trip. However, hotel does not allow you to bring your own food/drinks to the lounge/beach areas (there is a snack bar). The absurd notice to not put your own drinks in the minibar in the room was off-putting. Beach is only OK -small and crowded and there is a nearby public beach (short 5 min walk) which is very nice. Paying premium to have beach access at the hotel not worth the extra money.

Il Nido is Neat-O!

The place is well worth the harrowing drive to get to it. Room was small—not much more than a full and a single bed, an armoire and a small bathroom—but we weren't there to hang out in the hotel room. The room was very clean, there was plenty of hot water, and the A/C worked very well. Enough said.

The hotel's beach is small, but they have many levels cut into the hillside with lounge chairs. The swimming alcove is beautiful, clean, calm and not at all crowded. The little snack bar will tide you over until you can walk into the village for a real meal.

Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice place to stay if you're spending a couple of days in the Cinque Terre region!

A scenic, relaxing stay.

Please note that this review is based upon visiting during Spring Break, so it is not quite the high season for tourism.

Pros
Very clean - The room was cleaned when we arrived and during our stay. Lobby, sitting areas, and even outdoor were well taken care of
The breakfast - it is a buffet (meat, cheese, bread, cereal, bacon, eggs, juices) with a very nice espresso/cappuccino.machine. Additionally they have gluten free and organic options. Get there early and have a great window view.

The outdoor area - while the \"private\" beach, is a strip of about 30 ft during high tide, there are multiple decks and seating. Excellent scenic area
Location - near a host of great restaurants with a 2 minute walk.

Cons - The bed - a little firm and uncomfortable. Lacking sheets.
Two properties - The view is nice from the balcony, but obstructed by a powerline; however, it is still pretty nice!

The closeby town, Tellaro, is an excellent visit and walk. Not much to do, but that is kind of the point. Must sit on rocks in front of church, and view it during the day and night. If you go to a restaurant - Osteria la Caletta. Everything we tried was great - Seafood pasta, Squid Ink Pasta, Mixed Fried Seafood, Ricotta Cheesecake, House Wine, Lobster Ravioli, etc.

Overall, an excellent, scenic place to stay. Loved being here, and plan on returning. May bring my own pillow next time though.

Superb ten day stay at Il Nido

My husband and I love Italy,but it was our first time to stay in this Cinque Terre region.It was spectacular and a true delight. A highlight was a day in Porto Venere,accessed by ferry from Lerici--wonderful and memorable day.
The hotel was brilliant-quietly under-stated, first-class service in every way,and the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant.Crisp bed linen and fluffy white towels replaced every day are just one example.Would happily recommend to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet and great food.

We had a great time at il Nido hotel, we enjoyed the great and beautiful location. For us, the privet beach was a huge plus.
The breakfast was very good, a lot of choice and every thing was fresh and tasty. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms and other parts of the hotel are kept very clean.

No fiasco in Fiascherino

This is the second short break we've stayed here and we're just about to book a third....which should say it all! This is a stunningly-located hotel. We've had a top floor room with a nice large terrace with panoramic views over the bay: be sure to specifically book the deluxe sea view rooms- well worth the few extra quid!!! The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a huge range to choose from. We've only stayed off season so we've never seen the bar or beach bar open. The private beach, accessed down LOTS of steps, is fantastic, with a multi-level sunbathing deck set down the cliff side. There are lovely restaurants within a short walk, and Lerici is about a 30 minute walk away with a huge range of bars and restaurants beside the harbour. Beware that the nature of the terrain around here means there are LOADS of steps to climb and descend wherever you go! The rooms, whilst quite basic, are very clean with the best value mini-bar I've seen!

Totally worth it

This hotel is a hidden gem. The private beach, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, and spectacular views are worth far more than what you pay. The breakfast buffet is by far one of the best we've had in Europe, and we've lived here seven years and travel every month. The staff is more than accommodating. I guess living in paradise will do that to you.

There are some issues to note. We stayed in the other building across the street from the lobby with our two children. The road you have to cross to get to the main part of the hotel is very windy and quite scary. It's like a human version of the game Frogger. With our sensory-seeking child, it made the approach to crossing the street quite nerve-racking. Also, there are several sets of stairs everywhere. I had recently broken my lower leg and was walking with a boot. Navigating the stairs was tricky but worth it once I got to the beach.

Everything was great, except for the comfort of our bed. The bed was like sleeping on a board. We had a family room. I am guessing that the other rooms might have more comfortable beds. The family room did not have a view and was across the road. Without kids, you probably get better rooms. The room was very clean and modern. The staff was great.

Great Location, Polite Staff.

The location is away from the town of Lerici, about 2km away on a winding road. An easy 45min drive to Pisa, easy to drive to Firenze, a short drive to Portovenere. Location is convenient for other car travels & close to town shopping areas. The staff was very friendly & spoke English (no Deutsche, but that's ok). Breakfast was good w/ eggs, bacon, fruit, brotchen, juice, coffee, milk. The view from the breakfast room was great. The rooms across the street can view the water when outside. Parking area is locked with a gate. The very beach is small but private. There are many places to lie in the sun as they have many levels of chairs on a porch and up the cliff. The only problem was that we found the beds to be uncomfortable. The room itself was good & had AC, stand up shower, & bidet. Overall, we'd go back there without hesitation.

You have to be able to handle stairs. The hotel is devided in two buildings split by the village road. Not much traffic, so no big issue. Nice view over the ocean and a private beach. Reccomendable!

Erinomainen sijainti, upeat näköalat ja mukava ranta myös lapsille! Hotellin ja toisen rakennuksen välissä kulkeva tie saattaa häiritä herkkäunisia, vaikka liikenne onkin vähäistä. Tilava (perhe)huone ja kylpyhuone, hyvä suihku. Ilmanen pysäköinti. Hotelli on hieman kulunut, mutta siisti ja palvelu oli erinomaista. Monet kohteet ovat lähellä mutta todellinen helmi on viereinen kävelyetäisyydellä oleva Tellaron kylä, jossa päättyvän tien päässä on ruokapaikkoja ja idyllinen keskiaikainen kylä ilman turistiruuhkia. Tullaan uudelleen!

Für 2 bis 3 Tage kann man buchen

Das Hotel ist komplett veraltet, von Zimmer bis Wasser, haven wir 200 Stufen gehen müssen, laut Beschreibung in internen und die Bildern, sind Welten. Das Frühstück war sehr mager, omlett oder Eier sind extra zum zahlen, das Personal sehr laut, absolvieren wie am bahnhof so ein Lärm mit besteck, hat uns absolut nicht gefallen. Das Wasser komplett verschmutzt, auf die Liegen keine matte, hart wie beton...Der Strand Bar überteuert und bekommst nur Plastik becher, alles abgenutzt veraltet, vor 30 Jahren hat sicher gut ausgeschaut ...
Wir werden nicht nochmal kommen.
Am Strand in lerici zahlt man 46 Euro Eintritt für Liegen und schirm.
Kleine Geschäft in der Nähe, darfst du nichts selber nehmen nur die Bedienung kann dir einen obst oder Tomaten anfassen. Wir sind einen Erfahrung reicher geworden.

A true gem along the Italian coast - both the hotel and the small town of Tellaro. Both highly recommend.

The hotel is situated right on a small beach and is very secluded. The room we had was very simple, but had everything we needed and was spotless and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You get a free workout with all the stairs. And it is an easy walk from the hotel to several nice restaurants and bars nearby.

Room was ok sized, a bit smaller than anticipated (three bedrom - panorama, sea view), but the big balcony and view was amazing. Nice beach access and free to borrow kayaks. Breakfast was good with the basic necessities, big plus for pancakes!

Good location, short walk to Tellaro. Tellaro is a beautiful small town similar to Cinqe Terre, but less crowded and cheaper food. Several restaurants located between the hotel and Tellaro. Also easy to take the bus to Lerici.

Note: This hotel has a lot of stairs, so not recommended for people with disabilities. Also not allowed to have privat food in the fridge in the room.

Fantastic service, all personnel was SO nice and helpful. The view is amazing. The only thing to complain about is that the other guest put their towels on the few sunbeds early in the morning and then they didn’t lay there. Maybe hard for the hotel to keep track on this buy maybe the lifeguard could remove towels after a while. The sunbeds were occupied with towels for the whole day and there were no one lying there.

Un vero nido per coccolarsi.

Posizione splendida, la nostra camera vista mare con terrazzino aveva una splendida vista; il parcheggio (gratuitto) essenziale per la zona (grande difficoltà di parcheggio). Silenzioso per il riposo notturno, colazioni di livello superiore alla categoria con ampia scelta per tutti i gusti. Personale molto gentile. Consigliabile (specie scegliendo la camera fronte mare!)

近隣の公共ビーチへのアプローチも簡単！

ギリギリでの予約だったので料金は高めだったが、レストランも近隣にたくさんあり、とても快適なホテルだった。狭いながらもプライベートビーチもあり、駐車場も広くて便利だった。崖に立つホテルだがエレベーターが無く、に上下移動は階段に頼るしかないのが玉に瑕だった。イタリア人より他の欧州諸国からの利用者が多かった。

Struttura accogliente,camera semplice e pulita ,scelto anche per il parcheggio interno e la spiaggia privata (molto particolari i vari balconi attrezzati); molto comodo a due passi dal centro e dalla fermata bus x Lerici ,serv.colazione ottimo,idem il bar alla spiaggia ,nota negativa nel mio soggiorno il servizio bagnanti

Underbar utsikt

Vi bodde där i en vecka och hade balkong med utsikt över havet. Det var fantastiskt. Hade vi inte haft det hade vi inte varit lika nöjda. Rummet var väldigt litet och även badrummet men det vägdes upp av balkongen. Många trappsteg ner till den privata lilla stranden. Fanns solstolar på olika terassplan så det räckte. Man fick fritt låna kajak vilket var super!
Frukosten helt ok men inga grönsaker och väldigt få charkuterier med tanke på att vi var i Italien. Minus att man inte fick förvara något i minibaren som ändå inte hade ngt i sig mer än två små flaskor vatten.
Vi är ändå väldigt nöjda och omgivningen är väldigt vacker och lugn

In generale tutto bene, in particolare pulizia e cortesia, a parte le difficoltà di accesso per me (ho bisogno del bastone per camminare). Tante scale... delle quali non mi ero reso conto alla prenotazione.

La prenotazione web non corrisponde con il servizio offerto dall'albergo. Abbiamo PAGATO una quadrupla (2 adulti 2 bambini) ma l'albergo ci ha riservato una matrimoniale 2 posti. Ci ha proposto una seconda camera in una struttura a 10 km di distanza, pagandola a parte.

Alles großartig, nur Schimmel in der Dusche oben unter der Decke (Meeresnähe, Feuchtigkeit dadurch ist natürlich ein grundsätzl. Problem, Abhilfe würde evt. schaffen, die Dusche komplett zu fliessen)

Accueil formidable dans un établissement très bien situé. L'accès à une petite plage privée est assurément un luxe dans cette région surpeuplée au mois d'Août. Le personnel s'est montré vraiment disponible et très professionnel.

Fantastisk fin beliggenhet. Fin liten privat strand, fikk alltid strandstol- kajakk til gjester.. badevakt. God frokost m/nydelig utsikt. Uheldigvis var familieleilighetene i bygningen som lå i bakkant av hovedbygget, måtte over veien for å komme dit (ikke så mye trafikk). Vi fikk heller ikke balkong eller utsikt, dette var et stort minus for vår del.
