The view from our front balcony room was perfect and the sunset from Vista on the 5th floor was great as was the bartender at Vista. Overall great stay. We came in late on a Saturday night and they were able to get us reservations at a nice restaurant a short walk away. Also set up taxi transportation for us the next morning for a boat trip to Cinque Terre that was leaving out of La Spezia. You won’t get a better breakfast buffet that is included in any hotel in the years I’ve been traveling.

Great location- bass from club until 1am Terrible

The staff was great- the breakfast in the morning was also amazing- the issue is that there are 2 clubs near the beach that played music until 1am in the middle of the week- there was nothing the staff can do- despite wanting the view of the ocean, it was the loudest place you could stay. The bass thumping until 1am made for a very tired morning.

Great hotel! Loved the location! We walked to amazing dining just 1/1 miles to the south along the beautiful waterfront where there were many excellent choices. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and kind to us and we appreciated that very much.
The breakfast was excellent. Everything we could have wanted and excellent service. Superb quality in all aspects of the hotel and service. Thank you very much!

What a gem!

What an amazing find! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel this clean—the attention to detail was incredible. The staff were so welcoming and kind, making us feel at home right from the start. Our room had a stunning sea view, which made every morning feel like a dream.

The breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was top-quality, and the lovely lady running it made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone we met, including the cleaning crew, was so kind and thoughtful.

And as a dog lover, I have to mention their adorable little dog, Lucky. He’s the sweetest, and it was such a treat to have him around for cuddles.

Hotel Florida is just a fantastic place, and I couldn’t recommend it more. I already can’t wait to go back!

Ricardo and Michelle are the main reception staff and are super helpful, kind and supportive. One night we had difficulty getting a taxi ( for my husband’s birthday) and Michelle offered to drive us there. Which is above and beyond our expectations.
The hotel is between Lerici main town and San Terenzo ( a lovely small town). We liked being able to reach both in about 15 minutes ( maximum) by walking.
Towels were changed and the room was cleaned every day. The hotel was very clean with an ample lift.
Breakfast was good and any food running low was always replenished.
We had an enjoyable safe time.

Two adults stayed for two nights at the Hotel Florida, Lerici. We absolutely fell in love with Lerici. As for the hotel, it’s situated a stones throw from a lovely beach. We parked in the public car park next door and it didn’t move for the two days. The hotel supplies 24 hr parking for the car park at a cost of 7 euro per day. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and polite even if my attempt to speak in Italian wasn’t great (staff spoke English anyways). The restaurants and bars etc are about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice also. Beautiful sea view from the third floor was amazing. The room was very clean and we would definitely stay again. Thank you staff at the Hotel Florida for an amazing experience! Grazie!

My wife and I loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. We greatly appreciate their ability and willingness to communicate with us in English. The room was very clean and everything we needed was a short walk from the property. The included breakfast was amazing. Not like the typical cheap breakfast you get in the States. Fresh, tasty and delightful!! A very high recommendation for this property.

Hotel quite a distance from Lerici but it is walkable even with your suitcase. Dreadful piped music which continued until at least midnight and started again at 7am. As it was downstairs, it was distorted in the room and most irritating. Very average breakfast, Room comfortable and good toiletries. Good view on Gulf of Poets from front of hotel.

Location: sea view and the beach across the road. Unfortunately the beach was closed due to some issues with the sand and the weather was stormy. But we had a great view at the bay and the castle.

An absolute gem.

This is one the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel location is perfect for visiting Lerici. The beach is across the road and the restaurants are only a short scenic walk away.
As you walk through the front door you are hit with the wow factor as the lobby is beautiful and classic. All the staff are fantastic. The breakfast was excellent and had a good selection of items.
I recommend this Hotel as a must place to stay. It’s only 3 stars because I guess no pool but I give it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel was lovely with beautiful cyclamens on every balcony. The room was very clean and in excellent condition. The staff were lovely and the breakfast delicious. This all was totally ruined by the worst bed I have ever slept in. It was harder than sleeping on concrete and with lumps thrown in. Such a shame as otherwise everything was excellent.

Lovely Hotel on the Water

Very nice hotel with wonderful sea views just across the street from the beach. The first night we had a room with an old bed which was not so comfortable, but the moment we told them about it, they worked quickly to move us to a room with a brand new bed. It turns out that they were in their pre-season change-over for all the beds. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is so beautifully situated right on the Gulf of Poets. Dining is a short stroll along the promenade which winds around the bay and is pure pleasure. Staff are super helpful and although the rooms are compact, the views make up for the size.

Great find!

The hotel was located in a prime spot in Lerici and close to many of the local sites. You can enjoy your vacation and time there at the property and /or while also visiting Cirque villages nearby. Also, the hotel staff was tremendous. Not only were they accommodating, but they were friendly and helpful as well.

We reserved 2 rooms overlooking the ocean, when we arrived we only received one of the rooms. The other room had a view of the alley, not a view of the ocean. When we attempted to resolve this with the staff the staff then was unable to communicate in English
I believe we are owed a refund on the room and will begin the process with Expedia and if im unable to resolve with Expedia I will deny the charges with our credit card company

Modern hotel with very up to date super clean rooms. Right on the public beach with great views over bay & castle. 20 min pleasant walk along sea front to town centre. Bus stop outside to drop you off/ take you to La. Spezia for 2 euros, buy ticket from tourist info point next to it.

The hotel was a triumph. On arrival we had a parking space right outside. It was meters from the beach and a great proximity to really good restaurants. The room was extremely clean with proper air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that was going to Levici, or anyone planning a trip to Quinta Terre.

The location was for us, perfect. We wanted to visit Cinque Terre and the ferry service up the road made it a great option. Lerici was a wonderful place with the hotel centrally located for restaurants and transport not to mention the beach across the road. The breakfasts were superb, if we are ever back this way, we will definitely come back to the same place

Perfect choice...right on the beach!

This was a perfect choice for us...great room with nice balcony overlooking the beach! The staff was so nice, from accommodating our early check in (so we could hurry to Cinque Terre!), to recommending a wonderful little restaurant. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Hotel Florida!

Lovely beachside hotel with great views

Arrived to a lovely reception and were given a great room with balcony overlooking the beach. This was a useful place to sit and read and watch the rain unfortunately. The staff helped with local information and were generally very smiley. All public areas were spotless as were the rooms. The breakfasts were substantial and lovely. The smell of fresh bread every morning was delightful. Would have no hesitation recommending.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfasts provided were more than adequate. The hotel staff were very helpful, ringing for taxis and to the pharmacy. The position is absolutely excellent - right on the beach. The setting is fantastic with wonderful views of the bay. About a 10 minute walk into the mani town square along a lovely promenade. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and I would also recommend it to others. It was in a great position overlooking a sandy beach and with beautiful views. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well looked after. It was only a pleasant 10 minute walk to town, where there were lots of restaurants. It's a ferry ride away from the Cinque Terre. The bus from La Spezia stopped at the front of the hotel.

We had a room with balcony overlooking the beach with a wonderful view of the bay. The room was fairly small but comfortable and adequate for our needs. The location is well situated for tourists as apart from the local area it is very near to such cities as Pisa and Lucca and the countryside of Tuscany.

Back to Italy after 40 years!

Awesome beachfront location!

Great location right on the beach and just a 10 minute walk to the main piazza and ferry to Cinque Terre. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are small by U.S. standards but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would gladly come back and stay again - as a matter of fact we're planning to stay there next year.

Lovely hotel on the water

This hotel was my favorite on our 2 week trip. It wasn't the room although the room was very nice. It was the staff.
They were so helpful in everyway. That makes all the difference.
Get a view of the water and beach. Lovely promenade to walk on. Take a boat the five towns. Better and safer than a train. Have fun. One piece of advice. Have enough Italian money on you. This town does not like to take credit cards.

Its a family run hotel-staff really went the extra mile with restaurant recommendations, advice on excursions and assisting with return travel to Pisa Airport. Hotel peaceful and barely aware of other guests

Lovely Town

The hotel is across the street from the beach and our room had a balcony facing the sea. The road to the hotel had been blocked for construction and although we could see it, we could not reach it. We called the Hotel and a gentleman gave us directions to go back up the hill, drive to the next town north, then return from the other direction. We became lost and ended up at the same dead end. He then drove to meet us so that we could follow him back up the hill and to the hotel. We would never have found it otherwise. We were able to park in their small lot, leaving the car keys with reception. The center of town is just a 15 minute walk along the seaside road. The room was pricey but for one night, well worth it. I plan to return.

This is a great location to visit Cinque Terre. We stayed for two night and had a bay front room with a beautiful view. The boat is a 15 min walk and there are a good number of restaurants within easy walking distance. They have free parking and a wonderful breakfast.

Beautiful location

This was a wonderful one night stay and welcomed escape from the city (especially Milan) during our road trip though Italy. Directly on the water in the center of a quaint Italian beach town, the location could not be better. Had a great balcony room that afforded stunning views of the sea and pleasant soothing sea waves breaking gently throughout the night. Wi-fi was accessible but somewhat unpredictable (touch and go) and could definitely be better... But in this place of tranquility and beauty, who cares! My only suggestion is improved bedding (especially pillows which are flat and not soft / fluffy). Otherwise amazing hotel. Friendly multilingual staff, great breakfast with plenty of choices. But the 5 stars was sealed with check out. I bought a bottle of alcohol I didn't like and offered it to the hotel gratuitously. But while graciously accepting, the sweet lady gave me a bottle of wine in return (like a trade)... So charming and kind. Would definitely love to visit Hotel Florida in the future if my travels ever take me back to the Italian Riveria.

fantastic hotel

even before going to Italy the hotel staff were so helpful giving times of buses, trains and info on taxi services.
Ideal location near everything beach, shops, resturants and beautiful views . The breakfast was a banquette and the service was amazing . Rooms were lovely and clean turned over everyday with clean linen and towels. All in all a great place to stay and will come back next year .

Italian seaside splendor

This is a wonderful hotel that is a little of the beaten, as you really need a car to get there. Will great views over Lerici, and a short walk to the village for a selection of excellent restaurants. The hotel was very clean, had very helpful and attentive staff, and a very satisfying breakfast each day we were there. I fully recommend that traveller seek this hotel out, as it was the best hotel we stayed at during our Itialian vacation.

We chose to stay here based on customer reviews instead of simply looking at the 3 star rating and are very happy we did! Everything about this hotel was outstanding, decor modern, the service was great, room was small but immaculate, location great, breakfast delicious, views beautiful ... Can't say enough! The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The young lady who checked us in was simply bursting with energy / ideas for making our visit enjoyable. As for the 3 star rating of the hotel, that reflects that the hotel is \"simple\" ... No fancy dining room (there are 100's of restaurants in Lerici), no pool (but right across the street from the beach), no gym. It is a short walk along the seaside from the hotel to the main piazza of \"town\", boat to Cinque Terra, castle etc.

Location between Lerici and San Terenzo perfect. Beach across the street and accommodations at the Colombo beach club terrific for a more private beach experience. The family that runs the hotel is the best along with the entire staff, totally there for you, more than one would expect. Breakfast very nice and a cheery atmosphere. Free convenient parking and swimming pool near by, a local tennis club and local public 9 hole golf course. Service excellent, even made my wife's birthday very special. Very helpful with all of our needs. Can't say enough. Vacation perfetto. The view from our room, sun deck, or balcony exquisite. Ciao.
