Wonderful bed and breakfast right in the main town square. Very easy access and overall a great location. Maria and Maria did everything they could to make our stay a pleasure. They were both lovely and the highlight of our stay. While it wouldn’t affect our decision to stay there again, the beds are quite firm. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend this hotel.

This location was ideal. My window looked directly at the church so it was great for people watching. Very busy area. I forgot breakfast was included and had a bus to catch, so the host offered to send me with a to go cappuccino and croissant for the road. She was so sweet. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Many dining and shopping options nearby. About a 5 minute walk to the port so you won’t have to haul heavy luggage very far if you’re coming in on a bus or ferry.

I travelled solo - staying in single room 3 overlooking Amalfi Cathedral. Clean, comfortable, A/C, hearty breakfast - Maria was a really lovely, warm host. The accommodation is a little dated but I would wholeheartedly recommend this very convenient little hotel. Thank you! I hope to return one day! X

Don't be put off by decor. Small room with tiny bathroom, but comfy bed. Choice of using kettle or plugging in fridge due to weird plug sockets (that wouldn't take all the plug sizes). Dated decor but made up for by 5* location and 5*++ service. Host was amazing, charming, friendly, couldn't do enough for me. Offered coffee, tea, water or juice on arrival. Bag carried up to my room for me - a first! Wonderful fresh breakfast with loads of food and choice - best I've had at any hotel in Italy. Fresh hot croissant 😊.If the decor was updated you would have to pay 3 or 4 times the price so still good value for money.

You are literally in the heart of the amalfi city (see the photos of what’s right outside). The rooms are tiny (showering was a bit of an struggle) and a bit outdated but that’s part of what you get for the location as it has limited space. The staff as extremely friendly. I loved being able to walk outside to a place people have to travel by boat to for a day trip. I had a single twin bed . Perfect for a solo traveler that cares more about the location than what extra amenities you get.

Lovely location right across from Sant'Andrea Basilica. Staff okay. Older woman very nice. Big problem with water pressure in the shower. Room 6. Very weak. Not strong enough to hold the shower head fixture open. Youll have to hold the wand the whole time because the pressure was so low, the water just basically drips out, rather than shoot out. It starts out somewhat okay but then gets very weak. Maybe this is something with Amalfi in particular? I don't know. I can't imagine the restaurants and cafes having such low water pressure.

Another issue is that the beds are way too hard. Probably the hardest bed i ever slept on. I moved to a single bed in the room, and it was a little better.

Overall the room was clean and designed nicely with colorful tiles. BUT the bed uncomfortable if youre not used to extra firm mattresses. And it had no soft topping either. Price was very good. I went first week of May. Again, if you cant sleep on extremely firm mattresses dont go. Or ask for a room with a different mattress perhaps.

It's only a minute walk from the public transportation Lovely room, with a window opening for a view of the Cathedral. This lovely property is right on the beautiful Piazza and you can walk to so many shops, eateries, and the water. The breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋 and more than enough to get your day started. Maria was helpful with so many questions we had. Just be aware for those with mobility challenges there are ~10 stairs outside up to the door and ~10 stairs inside to reception. The entry is around the corner on the right of the building. Highly recommend this property! We were very pleased.

A wonderful place in a perfect location. In the main square, directly across from the Duomo. The only downside to this property is that here are no common spaces other than the room for breakfast. There are plenty of benches along the ocean to relax in the afternoon, and of course always cafes to sit and have a gelato or glass of wine. The rooms are clean with crisp linens and a nice bathroom. Although the description said double bed, it was a king.

No English here, but I managed. Maria was absolutely outstanding; she came down to where I was sitting absolutely lost at the port, picked up my suitcase and hauled it back to the B&B. Stairs to the main square, stairs from the main square to the B&B and stairs up to the B&B, about 30 stairs altogether. This is a very expensive tourist resort town.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and it was so convenient and best choice for us.
Here are some points:
1) It’s literally a 2 minute walk from the bus station and ferry port. 2) It’s located across from the Duomo right in the centre of it all. 3) Not many stairs to climb to get to your hotel or your room, which is awesome 4) Included is a hardy breakfast! 5) Rooms are clean and staff is so nice!

Needs a little (lot of) something

Breakfast was good. Other than that, the room was small, old and in need of some paint and upgrading The shower head only dribbled water, and when I mentioned this, a promise was made to fix it. This never happened. The hangers were all leftovers from previous guests, bent, broken and a variety of wire and plastic materials.I requested 2 or 3 extra hangers, this also never happened.The bed was a mattress on a spring support that creaked. Also extremely hard. I like a firm bed, but not like this.
In 4 days, not one towel or bath mat was changed.
As I mentioned, the breakfast was good, and the location in the main tourist square was convenient,

Room with a view!

This room had an amazing view! I opened the window and there was the Cathedral right in front of me!

The bed was a little hard, but the AC worked great and the breakfast was amazing!

It was also super close to the port where the ferry and tours leave from. I would definitely stay here again!

As a solo traveller i was looked after very well. As I have limited Italian, the owner was very helpful in making enquires and confirmation of further travel plans. The hotel is in the centre of Amalfi, conveniently close to shops, restaurants, the Cathedral and the harbour.

Reservation changed without notification

My reservation was changed without notification. The reservation for a room facing courtyard became a room next to the major street. The noise from street until 2-3 am every morning really drove me crazy. No hot water for the first night. No apologies after I complain. Strongly not recommend to anyone.

My wife, son, and I spent 5 nights here. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was great! The location is perfect — right in the Amalfi Plaza in front of the Cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants and gelaterias nearby. The beach was just a very short walk away. Every morning we were served a complimentary breakfast of delicious pastries, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate. Maria and Ana Maria were exceptional hostesses!!! Friendly and always helpful. Maria reserved us a private transfer to the Naples airport on our day of departure. The next time we vacation in Amalfi, we will definitely be staying here again!!!

Good budget stay for Amalfi coast

By Amalfi coast standards, this place was a good deal. We stayed in May, well before peak season, but still there were a lot of tourists.

The hotel is right on the busy main square, across from the cathedral, but the soundproofing in the windows is quite remarkable. I don't know if this was a recent upgrade, but we didn't feel other reviews complaining about noise were valid. We slept well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they speak very good English, and they have some planned events. Breakfast was standard for Italy, with bread, pastries, yogurt, and good coffee. Overall good quality breakfast.

Very central for the Amalfi coast. We stayed without a car and many bus lines terminate at the bus station a 5-minute walk away.

Great value in a wonderful place!

Great value in the heart of Amalfi. Super convenient location - close to restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and public transportation. Breakfast was basic - but a great perk for the price. Would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel!

Excellent Location

First of all the location is amazing right in the middle of the Amalfi Square, right opposite the Cathedral. The owner of this B&B is lovely and helped us with excursions and made our stay really welocming and comfortable. This is a good base to travel around from via Sita bus, boats etc.

Great location, small but clean and friendly

I was by myself and the room was plenty big enough for myself and my belongings. There was a wardrobe with a full length mirror which was great. The room was cosy and comfortable, air conditioning worked great and the bathroom was a decent size. The shower was small but it wasn't an issue for me. The staff were so friendly and lovely and the breakfast in the morning is awesome!! You get so much food you could skip lunch and just have an ice cream in the middle of the day like me. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Also the location couldn't be better. Amalfi is pretty small so everything is close regardless but this place you step out of the street and you're in front of the church. It's definitely not a luxury hotel but it is comfortable and I would definitely stay here again. It's a little pricey but you save money with the breakfast and its great to have your own room unlike in a hostel. Worth it for a few days or more if you have the money. Also the wifi worked well, no issues at all!

More than expected :)

We were stopping by Amalfi for a night before heading up to Ravello for a wedding. This place was everything and more than I expected! Right after we checked in, we were offered coffee and tea (which I was not expecting). The room had an amazing view of the Amalfi Cathedral. The breakfast was served in the dinning room (instead of buffet style that I was expecting).
We were planning on taking the afternoon bus up to Ravello, so we left our bags at the hotel the next morning and explore the city a little bit.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is going to Amalfi. :)

Great hotel with great hosts. The room was very clean. The breakfast was nice and got our day off to a great start. The location was very centralized, right on the piazza. We loved it, but if your noise sensitive be aware of that. I look forward to returning for another stay. Amalfi itself is beautiful.

Wonderful stay!

The location of the hotel right in front of the Duomo in the main piazza in amalfi makes it the most special hotel. We watched the Good Friday procession from our windows which made our trip very special. The room is adequate with all facilities. The staff is remarkably friendly and go to great lengths to make you comfortable. We felt like home there. The staff helped with our luggage as well. The breakfast is great with home baked exceptional tasting warm cake, croissants. We loved our stay there. Absolutely recommended!

Lovely hotel, few stairs

Maria was a lovely hostess, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Sant' Andrea. The room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked. And the location on the square with only one short set of stairs was just what I needed. It's true the square outside our window was quite noisy even through the wee hours in early November. But the comfort and convenience more than made up for that. And the windows do have heavy wooden shutters that block most of the noise. If your needs are similar to ours, then I highly recommend this hotel to you.

Wonderful location and reasonably priced

Great little hotel and great stay! Wonderful location and reasonably priced. Easy to get to public transport and right in the heart of Amalfi with a beautiful view of the Duomo. Luckily the windows have excellent shutters the block out the noise below if you want to rest. My only downside was that the breakfast room was tiny and that you are asked what you want and then it is brought to you instead of being able to choose from buffet or self service. Not a major problem as the lady that served me was lovely, but was confusing on the first morning and one had to get used to how this works.

Nice basic hotel

This is a nice 2 stars hotel situated right in the center of Amalfi. The room and the bathroom was small but the views were great! Amalfi coast tends to be expensive so for 2 stars it's a bit overpriced considering that I can get a 5 stars hotel at the same price in other placed, but the room is clean and with a great location! The beach is also 3 minutes walking, I had a lovely time over there.

Great location but...

I enjoyed my stay for the most part with the exception of the room selection and location.
Another issue I had to check out I was double charged for my stay because they said they hadn't received payment from Hotels.com. So I paid again to check out of the hotel, that was a bad experience.
The funds have not been credited back yet. So I will have to monitor with my bank. Fantastic location and friendly staff.

Central Location

We booked a 4 persons’ room. When we arrived there were only 3 beds in the room and they put a bunk bed for the fourth person. We asked for a bigger room, but they told us that they don’t have a big one, only this and that we have paid for triple room which wasn’t right because we showed the booking confirmation with the details. Anyway the hotel is good if you just need to sleep. The location is very good, because it is just in front of the Cathedral and is in the center near everything you need. You can leave the car to paid parking for 20 euro per day. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel because we used it just for sleep and a bath.

Perfect location. Very kind staff.

I started this hotel for 3 nights by myself. It is in front of Duomo and very close from ferry and bus terminal. They made coffee anytime I wanted, which I needed to pay 3 euro outside. Breakfast is good. They gave n me a bottle water. Very nice hotel!

Great stay and perfect location. The best part was the service. Very friendly staff and complimentary breakfast + cappuccinos every morning. We took day trips to Ravello and Positano so this hotel was perfect because it was within 200 yards of the ferry/bus. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. All things considered, the place exceeded our expectations for the price we paid.

Overlooking Square - Plus and Minus

We were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. The hotel room looks onto the main square, directly across from the large church. This is a convenient location, though the result is never escaping the large crowd that gathers there until 10 pm or so. The overhead light is quite bright. One result of that is that you are apt to attract mosquitoes if you open the window in the evening. There is no hotel lobby. The dining space for breakfast is a small room behind the reception. The breakfast is disappointing - we skipped it our second morning in favor of eating at a cafe. In sum, the room met our basic needs but no more.
