Our family stayed overnight and it was okay. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and breakfast too. Breakfast was buffet with several options from cold cuts, bread, cereal, hot meal - eggs, bacon, sausages. Open parking was right outside our family room!

While the hotel is under construction (July 2019) their rooms are still kept up well. The restaurant was very busy and the room comfortable. Close to the newly built windmill in Vinkel which is worth a visit.

Friendly hotel with great family rooms in a detached block, and good food in the hotel restaurant. We only needed the one night stay but wished we had time to stay on. The family rooms are beautifully designed and set in generous space so our two boys had plenty of room, and have two large double beds - that was a novelty for our boys and big enough so they weren't fighting for covers! We'll go back again next time.

We liked the look of the hotel from the web details, looked awesome . The hotel staff were superb, very friendly , professional and courteous. There were a few disappointments. On walking to the main entrance , you could see what looked like old discarded cabinets where people sat and smoked , sort of spoiled the initial impressions . Our room was at the very rear of the hotel, a seperate building. The room itself was fantastic , very well laid out, although the front sort of felt like a shop window, a huge glazed front section with a door opening outwards, with curtains that came across the front for privacy, this was quite frustrating trying to get in and out of the room and not leave the curtains slightly openin leaving your personal possessions on full view . It was also slightly frustrating being a good 5 minute brisk walk away from the hotel with no obvious rear entrance , meaning a walk right round the perimiter was required, sometimes in very cold rain . The restaurant was well laid out, although the food range fairly limited and although nice fare, was not of a massively high standard, although was presented well and again served by excellent staff.
We felt that for a hotel of this size and price , there could have been more on offer , no entertainments at all, a downstairs bar that was not easy to find , rather glum , and down a corridor littered with goods cages and other bits and pieces , no pool

Great for families - we booked a large room so as parents with 2 young children we could stay together ahead of a family event. The standard of furnishing was very high, with a great deal of space and easy access from the parking lot. Bath and shower of an excellent standard. Would seek out a Van der Valk for these same qualities when staying in the Netherlands in the future.

We hebben twee nachten verbleven in dit hotel en hoewel we een aantal fijne ervaringen hadden, waren er ook enkele verbeterpunten.
De pluspunten waren zeker aanwezig: de privé parkeerplaats was erg handig, en bij aankomst op de kamer vonden we een persoonlijk kaartje, wat een warme en persoonlijke touch gaf. De kamer was ruim en het bad was heerlijk om in te ontspannen. De service van de receptioniste was echt een hoogtepunt van ons verblijf; ze deed haar uiterste best om ons verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. We voelden ons absoluut geen nummer, maar echte gasten. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en bood veel keuze, wat de ochtend goed begon.
Er zijn echter ook enkele punten die beter konden. De kamer had schoner kunnen zijn; we vonden veel stof en zelfs enkele spinnenwebben. De kamer was ook behoorlijk gehorig; we hoorden alles van de kamers naast ons. Nadat we dit hadden aangegeven, werd er 's nachts wel extra op gelet, wat we erg waardeerden. De douche was gevaarlijk glad, en mijn vriendin is zelfs uitgegleden, wat natuurlijk niet prettig is. Verder was er bij het ontbijt geen chocomel verkrijgbaar uit de automaat, wat we jammer vonden.
Het diner viel helaas wat tegen; het was prijzig voor wat je kreeg en niet bijzonder van smaak. Ook was de kamer wat gedateerd, wat het luxe gevoel iets afdeed.

Der var skimmelsvamp på værelset. Aircondition/varme-anlægget larmede så voldsomt at vi skiftede værelse. Det hjalp en smule, men det var stadig frygteligt. Man kunne ikke sove for den. Den larmede også i perioder selvom den var slukket.

Was in orde waren wat min punten vooral kamer 201 ligt naast de gym waar menssen nog laat gingen sporten. En overlast op die kamer veroorzaakte kwa geluid. Kamer was schoon alleen de verwarming deed het zeer slecht. Handdoeken werden binnen op de vensterbank gelegd terwijl het kaartje niet storen aan de deur hing beetje jammer. Op zondagmorgen was het ontbijt buffet slecht bijgevuld. Voor de rest een heerlijk weekend gehad met heerlijk eten in het restaurant. Niet lang hoeven wachten en echt super lekker eten gehad complimenten aan de kok. Niks aan veranderen diner was echt top.

Booked a hotel.. and they stashed me in a cold, noisy motel with a bit of makeup. Worst van der valk experience ever. He main hotel was completely full (or so they said) so they put me in the adjacent building which was just an old motel which was super cold, so the ac had to be turned on to make it normal but the ac was more noisy than a boing engine, and to top it the old fridge was even more noisy - and in the bathroom the ventilator fought to be even more noisier. Didn’t sleep all night due to the noise. Never booking that place again.
