Nice decor (saw two rooms on different floors and both were nice - not boring beige. Wonderful location - right in the heart of towna dn easy walk from train/bus station. Staff Excelletnt. Fabulous in room amentities. Loved the breakfast room. If I had to say negatives it would be - Toilet paper quality very poor which was a surprise given how nice everything else was. Also TV channels - very limited. But these are minor things I would happily stay here or at another hotel owned by the same company.

Very central for all tourise sites, shopping, station mand amenities. Room a decent size and comfortable bed. We stayed in room 213 which is directly above the conference room and they tend to move furniture late at night (after 10/11pm) to set up for next day, which would disturb sleep.

Hotel itself is set right in the heart of Den Bosch, which is a very unique and beautilful town, just under 10 mins walk to the train station and bus lines. Stayed at the Golden Tulip many times. Always a bit of a lottery on the quality of the room you get. This time I did well. Huge room with a sofa in it. Rooms could do with a refresh. But service is good with a friendly attitude. Showers are always a bit of a struggle in the tulip. Surprising considering how tall the Dutch are! Difficult getting a drink after 10pm. But overall a good stay.

Sorry, but this place was disappointing. The wifi is terrible and, like it or not, that matters. And my room was ridiculously dark, even with the window/blinds wide open. The room was also really dated, except for the washroom. That was very new and very cramped. I doubt I'll ever be back in den Bosch. If I am, I won't stay at this hotel.

Fantastic central location overlooking the Markt. Welcoming reception staff. Great room with large bed, well designed and well equipped. Smart brasserie on ground floor. Didn’t try the breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Den Bosch. The only slight criticism would be slow (free) WiFi and slow queue to check out, but neither detract from high quality experience.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. However everything else is bad.

This is my second visit. Great service and welcoming attitude all over the hotel. The only complain I have, is that the rooms are very warm. Even with the window open, it was really warm during the night.

The Golden Tulip is my hotel of choice when going to Den Bosch on business. It might not be hip and trendy, but the hotel is top notch and the personnel super friendly and helpful. I've stayed many times and it's never let me down. 15 minutes' walk from the central train station and overlooking the old Market Square. I wouldn't exchange it for another hotel.

The room and the staff were awesome. The WiFi needs to be upgraded. I was unable to communicate home via Skype because the WiFi was so slow. The breakfast was really good, although the eggs were not fully cooked. 1st 2 days I ate the eggs and felt sick after breakfast. Balance of days I asked for a thoroughly cooked omelet and felt great all day.

Location, location, location. Right on the market square where there is always something going on. If you have a room facing the square it can be a bit noisy, but for us that just added to the charm. Very comfortable beds. Only complaint is that they did not always replace the coffee supplies each day. Nice bar and restaurant and very pleasant staff. Also, just a short walk to the train station if you wanted to take a day-trip somewhere. Highly recommend the place.

We stayed three nights here and ate in the restaurant one night. The room on the 5th floor was large and quiet with a nice view. The beds were larger than average twins and very comfortable. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our meal in the restaurant was great and professionally served by experienced waiters. We liked the ambience of the hotel generally and it was in a perfect location to walk from the station and round the town.

Den Bosch is a great place for a short city break. The art museum is terrific and the town is very proud of their famous artist, Hieronymus Bosch. There are plenty of choices for food, but the hotel is also good and don't miss the local boat trips, which take you under parts of the town.

Stayed here for only I night, visiting the Hieronymous Bosch exhibition which was splendid. Hotel was very centrally located and easy to visit the museums by foot.

Location, location, location
Visited Den Bosch for 3 nights to take in the Hieronymous Bosch 500 year event and The Golden Tulip was perfect for this trip. Its location - in the centre, right on the market square - was ideal (though make sure you use the 'back entrance' in Burgemeester Loeffplein when arriving - where Reception is actually located - if you don't want to trundle all your bags through the restaurant from the Market Square entrance). Not a huge problem but a little confusing at the time. Anyway, everything (museums/bars/restaurants/shops - even the railway station) in easy walking distance. It helped us to feel very much part of the 'Bosche Experience'being in the centre of things. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful; there were places to relax - even in such a big, bustly hotel and the room was spacious and comfortable (separate w.c. & bathroom was a nice feature). The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were a disappointment however - too little of 'everything' (only two small sachets of coffee,two indifferent tea bags,two powdered milk creamers (yes,powdered milk!) - and NO biscuits/koekjes at all). This may sound petty but first thing in the morning it took the edge off what was otherwise a very pleasant stay - and was a strange contrast to the rest of the hotel's offerings/sense of style. Perhaps they wanted to encourage you to get down to breakfast asap? However, all in all, a good hotel, perfect location, reasonable rates - to be recommended.

We had pre booked tickets to the Bosch exhibition so the hotel's location was perfect as it's only a short walk to the museum. We booked an executive room which was comfortable and clean and larger than the standards room going by trip advisor reviews.
The hotel also has a gym at the top floor with magnificent views over the town.
The staff were very pleasant and efficient although the only dissapointment we had was that our safe box in the hotel room did not work as it had run out of battery power. A clear oversight on their part. Although the reception staff offered to keep our valuables in a safe at reception it would have been much better to replace the safe in our room or fix it as to avoid the inconvenience it caused. But other than that it's a great value for money hotel. Can still highly recommend.

We visited Den Bosch for the exhibition of the artist with the same name. Great exhibition but not much else to do in Den Bosch. Architecture a little boring. A couple of good museums. Not much else!

However, aircon failed final night and could not be repaired. Also, when I went use them (also final night) both fridge and trouser press were out of order and could not be repaired. Hotel offered me to change room, but this was not a major problem for me so I stayed
