The Saint is majestic when you enter. It is calming as you you enter from a hectic travel schedule. The staff got us checked in very quickly, and we were in our room relaxing, luckily split.
I loved the ambiance. It is a very nice hotel.

What they don't tell you is that there is no onsite parking. Parking is located 7 blocks away from the hotel you can either pay $52 for valet or take that walk.

This hotel is showing its age and is in serious need of renovation. The unpleasant experience started as soon as I stepped off the elevator, where the carpet had a noticeable odor. The hallways and floors appeared dirty throughout my stay, and I never saw them being vacuumed.

The guest room also had a musty smell, likely due to the old carpeting. The bed was made with two flat sheets instead of a fitted sheet, which was disappointing. The room felt dark, dated, and grimy, and the view was of a dirty rooftop rather than anything appealing.

The bathroom was equally disappointing. The toilet paper holder was rusted, the shower glass never appeared truly clean, and the bathtub looked as though it had been repeatedly painted over to maintain its white appearance instead of being properly replaced or refurbished.

Overall, the property needs significant updates and better housekeeping standards. Unfortunately, this was not the quality of stay I expected.

It’s a nice hotel, looked more refreshed in the photos, however it was clean. They only had one bellhop, which also did the valet parking. Plan to load and unload all luggage. Everyone was very nice. It was a great walking location. Since it’s on Canal street close to Bourbon Street you do hear some sirens, but not too bad.

Our room was very clean and the AC was EXCELLENT. It wasn’t a huge room, but it had plenty of space and was very well-laid out. We were offered water bottles and shortbread cookies upon check-in. The hotel staff was lovely-very courteous and helpful. We heard very little from the hallway-and the elevators were quick. Location is fantastic-especially if you have theatre tickets to the Sanger-and it’s at the beginning of the Quarter. Everything is easily walkable there. The things that could be improved? They have the mattress set into a box type bed frame, so when you sit on the edge of the bed, it’s very uncomfortable. It would be nice if the bed was higher. The toilets are low. The rooms with King size beds need tables on both sides-there’s room for it. Lighting could be better. Get rid of the throw pillow things on the bed. It’s almost impossible to take a shower without getting the floor of the bathroom wet. And our shower was SLIPPERY-so I was thankful for the handrail. And the water pressure could be a lot better-but we had plenty of hot water :) overall, it wasn’t a great hotel, especially for the price. We will be back

The Saint is an amazing hotel. The only issue is with the pillows and the mattress. My neck and back have hurt since the first night there. It is partially my fault for not taking my own pillow, but the pillows while offering a variety none had any support. Other than that the hotel location is great and the staff were as friendly.

The Saint is a great, lower cost option to stay down in the French Quarter. The staff is super helpful and friendly. It’s on Canal street, only a couple blocks from Bourbon Street. They also allowed us an hour and a half later check out because or flight was in the evening. It gave us time to get lunch and shop some in the quarter. Definitely recommend.

My rating is really something like a 3.5 star - but I rounded up because many of the 1 star reviews for this property really are not fair. First off the good: staff is amazing. Everyone helpful, friendly - we dealt with the valet, front desk, and bar staff and every single person was amazing, especially Candy. Common areas were bold and interesting, loved the heaven/hell theme. The location was perfect - right on the northwest corner of the French Quarter, everything was convenient by foot or trolley, but none of the noise you'd expect being so close to all the action. The bad: The rooms need help. Everything is visibly worn, which of course means some areas look dirty (but really, it's just general disrepair). The desk chair bottom had collapse, so uncomfortable to sit in. Despite being a king room, the bed only had a night stand on one side - a surprisingly inconvenient situation. There was not a bathroom fan so the chandeliers were rusty because of the dampness. The shower pan was improperly installed so water pooled at the non-drain end. But the absolute worse issue was the glass shower door, which had a 3/8\" gap between it and the adjacent glass wall and no seal. This gap was right in the middle of the shower so water splashing off of your body just sprayed right into the bathroom and on the floor. We had to keep a couple towels on the floor to keep from flooding the bathroom. But, water pressure was amazing (but also made the gap issue even worse).

Pros: Location- close to Bourbon St. CBD and public transportation.
Cons: Service was ok, definitely not what we would expect from a 4 star property.
The property is in need of a refresh. We were in 2 different rooms and in both rooms there were visible stains and tears in the carpet, rust around the bathroom fixtures, nicks in the furniture. The rooms were decently cleaned, except for the layers of visible dust around the baseboards.

Lastly, while sitting in our room a large water bug ran across the floor. After we chased it down and killed it, we went downstairs to talk to the front desk. The young lady at the front desk was sweet but clearly didn’t know what to do. As we were explaining the situation and showing pictures, one of the workers (we believe security) said ‘you only found 1’. As if we shouldn’t be complaining since there was only 1. The young lady said she would send maintenance to our room to look for other bugs. She offered us a coupon for a free drink at the bar and said she would talk to her manager. We were headed to dinner and said the maintenance guy can enter our room and when we get back we might want to switch rooms. We returned, the front desk said they were going to move us to a different room and the manager was going to add bonus point to my bonvoy account. So we were moved- to a smaller room. At this point it was late and we were tired so we decided to just deal with it for the next 2 days. No upgrade or comp was offered.

There was a bar of soap used in the bathroom that was use from the prior guest. This was the hotel soap and pieces of the soap was found in the shower. It made me question how clean the bathroom was.

This hotel doesn’t have exhaust fans in their bathrooms so all of them smell like mold. We both got sick from staying here for 4 days. The beds were also terrible as well as the pillows it felt like we were sleeping on cots. I would not recommend anybody staying at this over priced hotel the only thing nice about it was the lobby and lobby bathrooms.

Hotel was good but I noticed when I got back home my truck bumper had white paint from a concrete wall and my bumper was bent down and now I can’t open my tailgate all the way. I’ll have to get bumper worked on to even be able to open tailgate properly.

The hotel is gorgeous. Its exactly what I was looking for, upscale but with the New Orleans vibe.
We arrived a little after 11am and they let us check-in early. The staff was exceptional friendly and we each received a little welcome bag containing a small bottle of water and shortbread cookies. I was also able to snatch up a complimentary coffee.
Our room was so cute. Definitely IG worthy.
The location is perfect. Bourbon Street is right there. The street car is steps away. You can essentially walk most places. Cab from the airport is $36 for first 2 people, $15 each additional person. Uber back to the airport was $46. It about a 20 minute drive.
The lobby has a free pool table, a really cute bar, and plenty of sitting areas if you have a large group.
Downside is the bed and pillows. It is a very hard spring mattress and the pillows are equally hard. I would bring your own.pillow if possible.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the Valet parking attendant who immediately assisted us with the luggage transfer from the trunk to a luggage cart. We then proceeded to check in while he parked the car. Check in was a breeze and we were given 2 little goody bags containing a small bottle of water and a bag of shortcake cookies in each.
The room was surprisingly large and very well laid out. The bathroom was large and had adequate towels and space to put toiletries.
The room itself had a very comfortable king size bed, a desk and 2 additional seats. Everything was very clean and conveniently located just 2 blocks from the Saenger Theater on the corner on Burgandy and Canal in the French Quarters and walking distance to the world famous Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and all of the famous French Quarter attractions .
Valet parking is a little pricey at $52 per overnight . I feel as though a discount could be offered to customers staying overnight. However, we will be staying again here due to the close & safe proximity to the French Quarter and the spaciousness and newness of the rooms. Some of the hotels inside of the French Quarter are old, small rooms , have outdated facilities and are noisy. The lobby of this hotel needs a little updating but the rooms are perfect.

This hotels was very nice. Staff were very nice and it was clean. However; the cleanliness felt off because there was a moldy type smell in the room that was very distracting. As if the carpet was washed but did not dry effectively. I stayed for only one night so I cannot speak on any of the other amenities.

The staff helped accommodate us to have a room with a city view, and Candy was extra sweet giving us a congratulatory card, bottle of wine and macaroons.
