Absolutely fabulous stay. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming.
We stayed in a deluxe double which was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable.
As the hotel is a short walk from the centre it was extremely quiet.
The garden looked lovely and would be welcome in the summer months

Great hotel within walking distance of major attractions. Bed was comfortable and the room was decent sized. There's also a grocery store down the street which was convenient.
I was hoping for a bit more character since this is a former monestary, which was the primary reason for the booking. If I visit Den Bosch again I would probably select a hotel closer to the city center.

This hotel is an ex-convent and is an absolute gem to stay in. Good sized rooms, helpful staff and \"just a little bit different\". The location is walking distance to the main station and very close to shops and restaurants.

overall hotel and location were great. However room was small for the amount of money, and there was no airco and it was hot.. uncomfortably. Second, i asked if breakfast was included and the answer was ‘yes it had been booked’ .. turns out that does not mean it is included? so paid a lot of extra money for a not so great breakfast. Would have preferred to go into the city for breakfast

Lovely modern hotel with a social mission
De Soete Moeder is a small modern hotel created inside a former convent building. Rooms are comfortably sized with excellent bathrooms and showers, and a good breakfast is served in the dining room.
The hotel is about 15 minutes walking distance from the Markt and thus not as convenient to restaurants, shops and historic sites as more centrally located hotels. However, the hotel has a pleasant quiet courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner, and is just across the street from a large park with walking paths and a small zoo.
What is most special about De Soete Moeder is its mission to train young people for jobs in the hospitality industry. It is clear that a strong emphasis is placed on customer service. All the personnel, from the reception desk to the kitchen and dining staff, are extremely friendly and welcoming and appear to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

Stayed for business. Can recommend for vacation as well. Nice quiet rooms because just outside of the center. All is simple but comfortable. Unless you look for a full minibar and gadgets in your room, this is a great experience. Good matress, nice decoration and coffee and tea option in the luxury room.

Great location and nice filling of an ancient monastry. Some details to be improved like a very basic breakfast. Dinner is not to refined. Wine choices very limited. But you are in a monastry, where the Nuns surely did not have broad choice either. The rooms however have all you need. Decoration in style with the simplicity of a monastry. If you like simple, down to earth rooms, with an original setting around it, this is a good choice. The garden looked great and the options in the neighborhood are excellent. Close to the city center with great dining and drinking.

2 heerlijke dagen in het hotel verbleven voor een zakelijke bijeenkomst. Heerlijk rustig in een woonwijk gelegen, maar daar merkte ik absoluut niets van. Een geweldig ontbijt gehad. Helaas geen bar in de avond, maar Den Bosch heeft anders genoeg alternatieven. Ik heb het niet gemist.

We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen, de kamer was tiptop in orde en we hadden heerlijke bedden, die in alle standen verstelbaar waren. Ook de badkamer was heel ruim. Het ontbijtbuffet was prima. Kortom, we hebben een perfect verblijf gehad.

Leuk hotel met mooie aspecten, zoals het glas in lood. Lekker bed en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid. Het hotel ligt op 10 minuten lopen vanaf het centrum. Parkeren kan in een parkeergarage twee straten verderop. Badkamer en toilet vielen ons tegen in de kamer. Heel basic en douchen doe je zelfs op de tegelvloer. Ik kreeg er een zwembad gevoel van in combinatie met de TL-verlichting, dat was jammer.

De \"Soete Moeder\" was een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en regelde van alles, zelfs na aankomst na sluiting van de receptie. Alles tot in de puntjes geregeld van parkeren, ontbijt en uitchecken. Een heel moderne klooster.

De Soete Moeder is een mooi hotel. Wij hadden een kamer helemaal bovenin. De kamer zag er goed uit. Een minpuntje vond ik dat je een trappetje af moest als je naar de badkamer wilde. Dit vond ik 's nachts wat minder, er was wel een klein lichtje bij de trap, maar die werkte niet goed. Ook vond ik het scherm in de douche te klein, als je gedoucht had, was bijna de hele badkamer nat.
