Clean room. Though shower area was too small, the shower curtain sticks to your back while having shower. The concierge who welcomed was not so friendly, she was somewhat preoccupied when we arrived. Elevator wasn’t working so we had to use the stairs to bring our luggage to our room, though it was fixed that next day. Area was close to the train/bus station which was good.

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. From the moment I walked in, it was clear I’d made a mistake. The “lobby” looked more like the entrance to a community centre than a hotel, and the man behind the desk seemed genuinely confused when I said I had a reservation. I even had to ask, “This is the hotel, is it?” Not a great start.

The room was even worse. Tired, outdated, and depressing. Two worn-out single beds pushed together to create a rock-hard ridge down the middle — hardly a double. The pillows were flat, lumpy, and likely older than the building. On the walls? Smeared mosquitoes — a grim reminder of past guests’ battles.

The bathroom was falling apart: cracked tiles, broken furniture, and a shower that only offered cold water. I reported the lack of hot water to reception. Two staff members assured me they’d come to the room to look into it. They never did. I could’ve waited a lifetime. When we checked out and I asked what happened, I was told, “He’s not a technician” and “he did the best he could” — though no one ever even came to the room to explain that.

This place needs more than a deep clean — it needs a complete renovation, some staff training, and a reality check. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even for a single night.

Great location as I was taking train trips. Very comfortable bed. Duvet provided but with no cover. Toilet and shower were so close together I could hardly navigate between them. Extractor fan was broken, so the room smelt permanently damp. Some very unsafe looking plug sockets too. Needs a makeover!

It was close to the rail station. Place is needing a good renovation update. Annoyed didn't get room with walkin shower then had to move 2nd night. The walk in shower wasn't the biggest couldn't even bend down.
Area a bit dark and intimidating.
We used it mainly for a base.

The bathroom shower was extremely small with broken tiles, the television didn’t work had a crack all the way across it. There are no laundry facilities, toilet leaked and would stay running. Room did not look anything like the picture.

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel in Pisa. The location is unbeatable—literally right across the street from the main train station, which made it incredibly easy for us to visit nearby cities during our trip. Just in front of the hotel, we could also catch the bus that took us directly to the city center, where the famous Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli are located.

The staff was very kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed the breakfast—it was simple, good and a perfect way to start each day.

Overall, this hotel was a great base for exploring Pisa and the surrounding areas.

Fine room in a pinch. We were unable to get to Florence due to the rail strike so we went to Pisa instead. The hotel is older but adequate, comfortable beds and air conditioning worked well. There was a very shabby damaged table in the bathroom that should have been in the trash. Other than that, the place was comfortable.

The hotel is very conveniently located to the train station but the rooms are tired and dated and the shower and lift are extremely compact. The staff are very friendly and if you’re only looking for a place to rest your head for one night then this hotel will do as it’s clean and should meet your basic needs.

The online photos are not accurate. The hotel probably was like that 10 years ago. The shower is tiny and leaking. The beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good, orange squash instead of juice and the bread was not fresh. I would have gone elsewhere for breakfast.

The hotel is very convenient for the station and the main sights are walkable from it. If you have a room on the road side there is a fair amount of noise. It is comfortable and everything is very clean. Our shower worked well but I found it impossible to stop it spraying on to the bathroom floor. The breakfast is continental but with a fair range. Overall it's good value for money.

The property is ranked 4 star but the service and the room is very poor.
I booked a double room for 1 adult and 2 toddlers. I was given a single room with 2 single bed joined together to create a double bed. Very uncomfortable cause the bed kept shifting and I had to keep pushing it back together to prevent my kids from falling. The room was very hot and when I ask the staff to provide me a remote to on the Air condition he said that the AC is not working. My kids were bitten all over their body by mosquitoes cause they’ve got no protection against mosquitoes and since the AC is not working had to sleep with the window open. The was very small and uncomfortable. There was no toilet roll in the room and had to go get one 6am in the morning cause my child needed the toilet. I couldn’t sleep because there was a terrible noise coming from the mini bar fridge in the room. I am so disappointed because the hotel has a good potential due to the position. Very close to train station and to the airport.
My disappointment was also experiencing the ignorance of the owner of the hotel who heard me speaking Italian and asked me what country I am from. I confirmed that I am Italian and she went ahead a state that she was asking as she could only see a black woman. I didn’t escalate it due to my children being around and didn’t want to give her ignorance any attention.
I was charged 100 euro per night plus extra 15 euro for staying tax. The property is not worth the money and star.

The Air conditioning didnt work and it was 37 degree. When I asked to change the room they said no, and that is only it, they didnt even try to compensate with a fan or something! Apart from that the room was ok/average , but the bathroom had a minimal shower space with a broken shower curtain. No 3-star hotel at all. the only good thing is that is in front of the station and walk distance of shopping stores

Worst hotel experience

Air condition was not working well. When we complained they gave us a fan that wasn’t enough. The room was so small. You could hardly get into the shower. We requested to be transferred to another room. They said all rooms were taken. We learned the following day that it was not true and that the air condition was working better in another room. We demanded a refund and we were planning to go to another hotel. They said there was no refund. We had to bear the heat 30 that became 32 degrees until the following morning. It was the worst hotel experience we had.

Very poor stay, I knew it wouldn’t be luxury stay, but the little they offer, it’s bad. The room was very hot, the AC wouldn’t work after a long time, I got in touch with the front desk and the guy pressed a button and it came on, but it did not cool the room. Breakfast was bad, I asked for eggs, the front desk he said he would bring, but after 20 minutes, I went back to him, he said it would take 20 minutes to cook them, we waited 45 minutes for 4 boiled eggs. The coffee was terrible. And, I got a parking ticket for parking where the front desk guy told me to park.

Perfect location--a 5-minute walk from the starion, where taxis to the center of town are readily available. Fast and efficient check-in. Adequate breakfast. Well-worn and dated furniture, fixtures, and flooring, but basically clean. AC was barely keeping up, so the room was a bit warm. Tiny claustrophobic elevator with room for two without luggage, but only one with luggage. It was fine for a quick one-night reservation, but probably not a good choice for a longer stay.

Though the staff were friendly enough, the breakfast ok but not great. For example there was no fruit or salad. I kind of expect that when paying £90 per night. The rooms are not very secure though there's a safe. Inadequete staff at reception meaning they have to lock the doors. I was not able to come and collect my luggage that I left during the day. Security needs updating. The room had ants on the floor plus, I was bitten a lot by mosqitos. The shower was so small I had a job to turn around. I'm glad I stayed just one night.

While its nice that its close to the train station. I would stay away from this hotel. To begin, the front staff were rude and unwelcoming. The shower had mold and it didnt drain. The hair dryer couldnt be used for more than 30 seconds without it starting to burn up and become unsafe to use. The bed was advertised as a queen and was two singles pushed together and continued to slide apart all night; and to top it off, management decided to shut off the AC for the week because it \"was too cold\"... while it was sitting at a high of 30. For the buffet, there were hard boiled eggs that were sitting on the counter in the heat, without ac or ice or a fridge, as well as the milk - it was room temperature when we went down around 7am before we were leaving for the train. If we were supposed to stay for more than a night we would have found somewhere else to say. Find anywhere else to stay

Booked 3 nights left after the first , and booked else where. Didn’t get a refund but couldn’t do another 2 nights . Wanted a good location , reasonable price stay in Pisa as we only needed a bed with a good location. Pictures looked decent however arrived the room was not what was advertised , 2 small single beds pushed together when it was advertised Queen bed. Aircon advertised however no aircon available. Black mould in bathroom when complained was told “there’s no windows that’s normal”. No air flow had to have window open but mosquitos came in so was bitten all night. Had to use clothing as pillows due to the bedding offered. Save your money do not book here the only good thing was the location but even then you get better value you for the same money elsewhere. If the price wasn’t as high as it was and was a lower price wouldn’t complain as to be expected but this was absolutely terrible

Location & friendly staff were the only positives

The location was extremely convenient to train station and Pisa central. Additionally the staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately everything else about this place was extremely disappointing.
The bed was truly the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept on. There was hair from previous guests in my room. What looked like mold residue in and around the shower. The walls were scuffed everywhere. The paint looked old and extremely outdated.

The owner should be arrested for crimes against hospitality.

Upon arrival, we were checked in by Margaret who was extremely friendly and helpful and give us a list of must visit attractions, although it’s Pisa so the list is pretty short.

When getting to the room, the door frame was broken with the metal beading lying upside down, nail side up. Inside the room, dead mosquitoes were all over the walls, the sheets were stained, tiles were cracked and the whole place felt dirt.

The fact the the mosquitoes remained all over the walls showed that the room was either never cleaned or done to the most basic standard each day.

The only plus point was it was close to the station for a quick exit from Pisa.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. You will feel itchy for days after leaving.

The hotel was in central location so was really close to the railway station and also about 20 mins from
Leaning tower. There was daily housekeeping and the hotel
Was pretty clean. Little bit of mould in bathroom. The second day we had no hot water but by evening time it was resolved. The beds were two single beds joined together and to be honest they were so uncomfortable that we both ended up with back ache . The breakfast could have had a bit more variety but overall we were happy.

The hotel is very close to Pisa Centrale station, but there's a pleasant walk to the river and then on through historic streets to the leaning Tower etc.
The hotel is comfortable and well managed, with helpful, friendly & efficient reception. Our room was large enough, with a large comfortable bed & modern ensuite. It was reasonably quiet and had a good choice of food for breakfast. We have stayed there before and hope to do so again.

Pisa was a surprise, such a clean, cute town famous for its leaning tower, but also universities, therefore many young people give it vibrancy.

Check in at the hotel was good but had been traumatic earlier that day due to systems processing visa had complications which almost cancelled my reservation. This was not a good start, however, Margarita at Reception worked so hard to resolve for me when I telephoned her from the airport just before boarding my flight. Margarita is a total star, such a lovely person, so helpful with local knowledge.
My room was good, comfortable. The bathroom very small but I was alone so worked out fine. There are safe boxes at Reception which are handy for small deposit items like your documents and cash. The breakfast is basic continental and if you need to be straight out to begin your day, a good option. Pisa Centrale is a couple of minutes walk so very handy. Area has plenty of shops and restaurants close. 20 mins walk to Leaning Tower and Piazza di Miracles. I would stay again.

This hotel is very convenient for the railway station and has plenty of places to eat nearby. It's also a quick walk to the main shopping street and the Leaning Tower is walkable too.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, albeit a little old-fashioned. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty with a fair range of food to choose.
We would be happy to stay there again.

This hotel is excellently located for all transport needs Bus, train, airport, and sightseeing, the staff are friendly and enthusiastic, The best breakfast i had in Italy this trip. Plenty of local bars restaurants at a good price.
I booked a small single room as i was travelling alone on a budget, and it is best described as better than my daughters (Brand new) student accommodation, i wanted for nothing, aircon (With remote), balcony, lift, shower room,ALL GOOD.

When i arrived at 23.30 hrs the hotel night manager did not wish to provide double bed /single used as booked - possibly due to miscommunication between hotels.com and hotel.
Instead of being polite and trying to find a solution the night manager had a rude attitude and did not care what it said on my reservation. Eventually after having called hotel.com he changed his attitude and provided booked room, could all have been avoided.

This is a low cost hotel. Very close to the train station (2 minutes walking) and about 20 minutes walking to The Leaning Tower. The lady in the reception was very helpful and friendly with my requests. Room and bathroom very small. If you do not find the shower out, just look up right in front of the bathroom's room :)

I booked an overnight stay at your hotel from the fourth till the fifth of August. When I got here everything seemed fine, until I found out that there were bedbugs crawling all over the bed, walls and ceiling.

Sceptical to book due to many mixed reviews but overall had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and we had no problems with the room or hotel in general however cannot comment on the breakfast as we went elsewhere. The hotel is really close to the station which is handy. We stayed for one night arriving at midnight and leaving the next day and I’m glad that we only had that short experience! I would not go back! The hotel is very dated, the rooms are small and very stuffy, ours also had a really horrible smell especially in the tiny bathroom, so happy we did not have to spend a lot of time there! We wouldn’t even use the shower it was that grimy! Then there was ‘breakfast’ - to be fair we arrived about 9:15 (the breakfast finishes at 9:30) but there was nothing left really and all the tables were filled with dirty dishes even after we sat down at one the staff cleared all other tables and left us sitting with the mess, there were no clean cups for coffee and the staff were not impressed at being asked to provide, overall not a good experience. If you want somewhere cheap for one night maybe consider but I’m sure there are better alternatives.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was a bit too small but didn’t bother me a lot as we were out most of the time. The downside for me was that they didn’t have iron in the hotel. The rest was excellent and would stay again if I travel to Pisa.
