Worst hotel I have ever experienced

The place stinks, the towels were completely worn out and stinky. The bed was not comfortable.The toilets/bathroom were shared between 4 rooms which can accommodate 6 person in each rooms. The shower tray is extremely tiny to take a bath. The bathing shower is pathetic either too cold or too hot.
Only plus point is that it's close to station and Airport.
Definitely not recommended when traveling with family, especially with kids.
Yes one more there were mosquitos, my 9 yr old had red spots all over his face.

The property is in walking distance to the airport. We received clear messages from the owner how to access the building and the the room itself. It is very basic but clean, enough for a few days for a stopover. For being close to the airport it is noisy but we were tired so didn’t wake up at night.

Room was clean. Bathroom also clean. Shower didn’t have much pressure. Coffee and tea available for use during stay. Room was very cool and no heaters. Good location for airport took us 5 mins walk. 40 minute walk to tower of Pisa or €20 in a taxi which was a bit of a pain. Good value for a short break

Adequate, but loud locks disturbed sleep.

The accommodation is all that I needed, for a one-night stay, prior to an early flight from Pisa Airport, which is only a five minute walk away. Check-in was rather clumsy, involving a phone call with someone with limited English, and a bit of hide-and-seek for the key. Once in, the room was all that was needed. However, the locking mechanism on the doors was ridiculously loud, and I was continually disturbed by other guests leaving and entering. That really requires some attention, as the majority of guests will be on one-night stopovers prior to flights, and a decent sleep would have been very welcome.

It was really noisy. No sound proofing between the floors and people upstairs sounded as if they were moving furniture all night. We were attended to by a very surly woman who did not seem at all happy to be there.

Ok to sleep for a night

The place is clean, although shower was clogged and for being a shared bathroom I wasn’t very confortable. Beds are good and location is fine. Breakfast is soluble coffee and a piece of bread.

Convenient for airport, noise from other guests.

The apartments are not far from the airport in Pisa so other guests were up at various times through the night getting ready to leave to catch flights and their sounds travelled. If you are there to see Pisa, as I was, it would make more sense to book into somewhere closer to the city centre. Breakfast consisted of a mixed fruit juice, tea and coffee.

Extremely convenient for pisa airport

Simple 400 yd walk to terminal front door. Our room was a marble floor Spartan experience. But given our very early departure time ergo limited actual time in our room and with the price then no complaints. Do call in advance, day before, to agree arrival time.

Our flight arrived 30 minutes late. The host called us to see if we were coming. I cofirmed that we were. We reached the address and nobody answered. We called over 20 times and were ignored with owner even turning the phone of so we could not contact.

We had to find another hotel at 1am

We needed a place close to the airport as our flight was early. Gate52 is reasonably priced, comfortable and clean. Staff member we met was very nice. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the airport.

Our stay here was fine. We were more worried about catching our early morning flight so we didn't sleep very well and could hear so many noises all night. I think it is probably normal, just we were so anxious.
You get what you pay for. Great location to the airport, it's a 10 min walk. And it's also easy to walk to the train station. We took the bus to the leaning tower and walked home to the hotel. If you have an early flight, it's an affordable option.

Arrived at gate 52 and rang the owner, after
a few minutes we were showed are rooms, they were basic but clean, the bathrooms are shared but one was large enough for 2 people to use at the same time. I would recommend this b and b for anyone with a early flight who wants a day in pisa.

The hotel is not bad in terms of Location and facilities. But the girl who received us said that she would personally serve us the breakfast in our room in the morning; but we never saw her again, the only breakfast available was a half litter bottle of Orange juice, three pieces of bread and two K-Cups to make coffee.

The hotel is 10 min walk from the Pisa airport which is really convenient. The owner was very helpful and let us come and stay on a night different than initially booked (we messed up some dates) which was very kind of him. There was food waiting for us in the room.
The place is basically a flat with a bathroom and few rooms so bear in mind you'll share it with other people. However, it's cozy and convenient and would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay if you have an early flight.

Nice hostel with a difficulty checking in

This is a hostel. Which means it is an apartment, close to the airport, in a nice neighborhood, in which you will have a room for yourself. The apartment was nice, clean, and smartly equipped. Which means it had pretty much everything you need, coffee, small breakfast, fridge, kitchen, etc.

On the downside, we had a difficulty checking into the hostel. It occupies a floor in an apartment building. Upon our arrival, no one answered the door bell. No one answered the phone either. So we were stuck for a few good minutes, after which I started to press various buttons on the intercom desperately trying to get inside (we did not have any other reservation in Pisa for the night, and I know it sometimes is not easy to find one right away). A lady from an upper floor answered my buzz, and let me inside the building. But she was not the one from the hostel ! She only lived there. I got back downstairs, and was pretty much resigned (and angry too !) to leave and find a different hotel. All of the sudden two ladies materialized, and it turned out they were running the hostel. Ufff ! We were saved. From then on everything ran smoothly. They let us in. And the hostel turned out to be a nice inexpensive place to stay. There were some other guests, but they were so discreet, we hardly noticed they were there.

We were looking forward to our stay at Gate 52, with our family of four small children. When our flight was delayed, I emailed ahead to the hotel, informing them of the delay. We landed around 1am, and by 2am we arrived at the door of Gate 52. No answer at the doorbell. No answer by telephone. I walked back to the airport to check my email. No message. After waiting more than half an hour, we found another hotel with an available room.

I heard nothing from Gate 52 until the charge (at 100%) was billed to my credit card. When I contacted Gate 52 by email and explained the situation, Rocco responded that he waited 35 minutes after our flight had landed. When I asked for a refund, he said \"the system bills in advance\", and refused to refund. (Was it a \"no-show\" on our side or on his?)

Now ten days later, all email contact has been lost, and I cannot reach them by phone. (The hotel number goes to the fax machine, and the one answering the cell number told me curtly that Rocco is on vacation for three weeks.) I wanted to talk to him in person before writing this review, but he hasn't given me the opportunity.

The whole experience has been very frustrating. Fortunately, we found that there are good accommodations available on Via dell'Aeroporto in Pisa. However, Gate 52 is not one of them!

Worst hotel on my Italian trip.

There are only two positive thing about about the hotel and there are that it is clean and that it is 5 minutes walking distance from Pisa airport, other than that there is nothing positive about this hotel.

Now all the stuff that I did not enjoy ;

I had a sleepless night at Gate 55, this due to the combination of it being too hot, as the room did not have an AC and the other being the fact that the walls are paper thin, I could hear every thing that was happing around me.

The mattress itself was very uncomfortable and it's not a double bed as advertised. lol It was two single beds side by side.

The breakfast is also off very poor quality as they are just packaged dry snacks, two mini sweets and 2 cheap coffee pads.

The caretaker of the hotel needs to learn to speak a little softly and be less rude.

There is no 24 hour reception, as there was no one present when we arrived at the hotel.

and to end my review the hotel do not have a lift, this can be an issue as the hotel itself is on the 3rd floor.

Any one that is used to staying in good hotels and like good customer service might be disappointed.

Came in unexpectedly a day earlier and B&B Pisaland host offered this room since Pisaland was full. We were grateful. Although the accommodations were basic, everything was neat and clean and it was all we required!

Overall we found gate 52 below our expectations based on the price. The shared washroom was dirty and we found it difficult to find a clean place to put our toiletries. I would recommend bringing your own flip-flops and bag to carry everything. The doors were annoying because you had to use this antique key to open and lock the room door. It was very inconvenient. Gate 52 provided only one towel for everything and the towel was hard as cardboard.

When we checked in, the owner requested the payment in cash so he could avoid using credit card. We found that a bit sketchy because he could double charge.

We were most disappointed by gate 52 by both the quality, cost and service. There were no maps, concierge or staff available. we have been in five other hotels during our trip and this one was the worst. It was also very noisy because the windows could not close and there were no barriers to prevent it. Oh and breakfast was a puny cake you can get for 25 cents. So would I recommend it, probably no.

Great B&B - Poor Parking

The hotel lists \"Free Parking Nearby\" however the parking is in the local Coop grocery store a block away. The grocery store's parking has posted signs stating \"2 Hour Parking Only - Cars will be towed\". In addition the grocery lot had several areas where car window glass was shattered all over the place. It appeared there had been several vehicle break-ins as we saw three spots with glass piled in mounds [car was not present]. I did not feel comfortable parking there and would not have slept that night. When I spoke to the owner, of Gate 52, and expressed my concerns he told me I was OK to park in the grocery store. I told him about the shattered glass all over so he told me to park after 8 PM on the streets. [Parking is free from 8PM on the street he told me]. I am not sure if there was a language barrier or not but I did feel as if the owner was frustrated with me. I was trying to confirm what my options where so I asked him ok so I can park for free after 8 PM?. He said \" I am trying to explain to you the parking\" and reiterated the option to park at the grocery or free spots after 8PM. It was a bit furstrating as I felt a bit uncomfortable from that conversation. Luckily we were able to find spots on the road after 8 PM! Thankfully! Other than the parking the hotel was great!!!! No complaints about the accomodations, the wonderful woman who greeted us, the internet worked great and the room was comfy!

5 Minutes Walk to the Airport

Location ideal for anyone flying in very late or flying out very early from Pisa as it is really 5 minutes walk from the airport. Other than that, this place has got nothing else to offer.

About an hour walking distance to Piazza dei Miracoli. Half an hour from the train station.

Easy to miss as the first sign you see is for another B&B. There is a small sign on the door bell and a fairly big sign on the balcony on the first (or second?) floor (so, look up!).

Make sure you email your estimated time of arrival beforehand because generally there is no one at the property unless they are expecting guests.

Spacious room. Fairly clean. Two bathrooms. Both fairly clean.

A lot of coming and going during night. Many unanswered doorbells!!

No air conditioning but a roof fan which is noisy but sufficient.

Breakfast on offer consists of coffee, french toast and some jams. Ideal for a quick breakfast.

We spent one night there and that was enough! Having an early morning flight necessitated needing accommodation close to the airport. It's within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.... It was very noisy, as our room C faced onto the main road. Other guests were very noisy also getting up for their flights at around 4am. We got very little sleep as a result as we were getting up at 5am....

Made reservation at last minute so got date wrong. Management was great and moved people around to accommodate us, AND cancelled our reservation for the next night. You could literally walk to the main airport terminal from The hotel was more of a hostel. Lots of youth. No en suite rooms so had to share bath down the hall which was ok for kids but not so swift if u r 70+. Bad mosquito problem.

Clean and convenient location near to airport. Fairly easy access to city centre.
Emailed my arrival time and spoke to manager on the phone to say I would arrive at 8pm but when I arrived the room was not ready and they said they had expected me at 9.30pm. Not sure where the confusion lay.
Clean room. Basic facilities. Poor refreshments selection. Wifi only worked after 9pm. Shared but clean bathrooms.

The hotel is very difficult to find because the lights are not turned on in this part of Pisa. In the darkness there is nothing to identify that this property is a B&B.It is on the second floor of a block of flats and the only way I managed to get a response was by ringing one of the other bells. We then managed to get into the property but there was no response from the doorbell of the B&B or from hammering on the door. It was 10pm so after 10-15 minutes we contemplated going somewhere else however just as we were going someone turned up. So we eventually got into our room. Through the night we were kept awake for an extended period by someone else desperately trying to get in and then at about 3pm by a really noisy group of guests leaving for a flight. The badly fitted bathroom door added to the noise.The next morning we had a pre-packed breakfast and machine coffee and left without seeing anyone from the B&B.

Exactly what we had hoped for. Easy to find from airport, easy to check in late at night, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Just wish we had known it was a cash only payment. A bit of a walk into central Pisa (if you are staying more than one night, which I would recommend to see a little more of this lovely city), but easy to navigate.

This is more airbnb type of hostel without personnel than a hotel. Next to airport (walkable) and there is plenty of noise, also when windows are closed. Nevertheless, suits the purpose if you land late or take a early flight. For other type of use, there are other alternatives

Praktiske, nära flygplats. Fanns enstaka restauranger i närhet. Fyllde funktionen då vi skulle sova över för att boarda ett plan väldigt tidigt. Däremot var det smuts på sängkläder och gemensamma badrum där de andra gästerna hade smutsat ner ganska mycket.

Helt fair sted til prisen.

Min ven og jeg kom fra ferie andet sted i Italien. Og da vi skulle flyve allerede kl 6.00 fra Pisa, så var det en perfekt og oplagt mulighed at overnatte der. En overnatning var så det eneste vi havde brug for, så jeg kan ikke udtale mig o andet. Vi blev ringet op af udlejer og fik at vide at vi skulle ringe når vi stod foran huset. Det gjorde vi og blev guidet igennem låse og koder. Så når en overnatning stort set er det eneste an har brug for, så er det helt fint.

Dommage d'avoir été dérangé par les gens en pleine nuit qui arrivait et qui ont fait un bruit démesuré. Les chambres sont spacieuses mais les lits d'une personne sont des lit de camp et 1 lit de 2 personnes est un canapé.
La salle de bain commune a besoin d'être refaite au niveau de la douche.

Genial. El personal del alojamiento contacto conmigo para saber mi hora de llegada y al ser tarde me dejó instrucciones para acceder. El hotel está a 6 minutos andando del aeropuerto y a 15 minutos andando de la estación de tren y de bus lan Rosa q te lleva a la torre. La cama y las almohadas muy cómodas. No tiene aire acondicionado pero tiene ventilador, así q muy bien.

Helt okej boende om man vill ha nära till flygplatsen. Man rår sig själv här - både vid incheckning och på plats - och bor enklare till en billigare peng. Delat badrum och toalett. Bra för dig som bara ska övernatta och ge dig av till flyget tidigt på morgonen.

hotel semplice adatto per passare una notte davanti all aeroporto. pulito ed essenziale. il bagno è in comune. io l ho trovato pulito ma dipende anche dagli ospiti che lo usano durante la giornata

Non c’è ascensore, pulizia sufficiente . Estremamente comodo perché deve alzarsi presto per andare in aeroporto ho per chi arriva tardi dall’aeroporto Zanzara in quantità industriale

Il breakfast è stato poverissimo e deludente in tutti gli aspetti. In contraddizione con al camera spaziosa e pulita, anche se con tante zanzare, purtroppo!
