The only complaint was that the bottom floor hears every single sound from the top floor with people walking around so early morning noise woke us up at 5:30am unfortunately otherwise great in every other way.

Liked the second floor room with lake view and balcony. Wi-fi service was spotty and slow, but we weren’t told at check-in that they knew about the problem; only found out when I mentioned it at checkout. Enjoyed the attached restaurant and lounge, as well as the fantastic scenery of the Waterton National Park. Our 3-day stay was busy but relaxing.

Was a beautiful day I basically got to stay at every national park on this trip and I got a set of all of them. Waterton had maybe the best accommodations and the best food. The staff are super friendly and the area where the hotel is is kind of perfect. It’s right in the cove you can walk to the beach. Everything is with our arms reach Wi-Fi was really good and I really have no complain. Such a beautiful spot.

The room that was booked thru Expedia, was not the room we received. Management did not seem to care. Our room definitely needed some work. The door was not flush with the frame with gaps that you could see outside. The room was very noisy as there seemed to be no insulation between the rooms.
The manager was difficult upon check-in but the rest of the staff were very pleasant.
This was an anniversary trip. Waterton did not disappoint. Some of the most beautiful scenery.

Good hotel. It’s a little older, but it’s clean and the staff are friendly.

During our stay, there was a Corvette gathering, and a lot of attendees had taken over much of the parking lot (not the hotel’s fault). We ended up having to park in the back. Some people were even sitting in chairs in the middle of the parking area, which made it little bit awkward if you coming out of the shower and forgot closing the curtain.

Overall, it was still a good stay, and I’d consider staying here again.

Over all the hotel was nice and comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake and marina! Very comfortable beds too.. but for the price we paid, their TVs weren’t working, there was no complimentary water at all. And there were no napkins/ tissues in the bedroom. Other than these minor issues, we really found this place to be comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

When I checked in, I was informed that my room was not yet ready, despite arriving after the advertised check-in time. The front desk agent stated that check-in is only guaranteed at 4:00 PM. After returning later, I was asked to come back again in 30 minutes. They even took my phone number and promised to call when the room was ready, but no one ever contacted me.

It wasn't until around 5:00 PM that I finally received my room key—an hour after the guaranteed check-in time. What was most disappointing was that no apology, explanation, or gesture of goodwill was offered for the delay.

The parking situation added to the frustration. Most of the parking spaces near our building were reserved for a special group, leaving only distant parking available. As a result, we had to haul our luggage from the far end of the property to our room, which was particularly inconvenient after an already delayed check-in experience.

The hotel seemed focused on accommodating a select group of guests while the rest of us were left to deal with the inconvenience. Management was actively attending to these guests, and some even received complimentary bottled water and other courtesies. Meanwhile, those affected by delayed check-ins and parking issues received no acknowledgment or accommodation. The contrast was difficult to ignore and gave the impression that some guests mattered more than others.

To be fair, the front desk associate (woman) was genuinely apologetic

The hotels location is amazing, probably the best hotel location in the whole town. Right on the beach, next door to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. The downside was how thin the walls are… I’ve slept in tents with better sound proofing. We couldn’t fall asleep cause of the noise from the restaurant next door, then woke up in the middle of the night to drunk people yelling outside.. no chance of sleeping in cause by 7 everyone was up and you can hear people outside so loudly you’d think they’re inside the room. Safe to say we had a terrible sleep and won’t be back cause of that.

The rooms are renovated but the overall building / property is not. The patio we had was tiny and looked immediately into the parking lot - so all we could see was the grill of a SUV. The property was noisy - we were on the main floor and could hear footsteps above us not to mention doors slamming in the hallway. This is a 2-3 star property. I was disappointed that there is no housekeeping unless you specifically call and request it. The pluses were the location right in the heart of Waterton and the renovated bathroom with plenty of hot water.

This hotel is very conveniently located by the Waterton Lake at a scenic and beautiful spot. It is close to all the restaurants and amenities in town. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 years old toddler and overall had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has ample free parking on-site, wifi access, ice-dispenser machine, and very comfortable beds. There is also a Starbucks and fancy restaurant/grill next to it. the only negative issue we encountered was that the room appeared not to have been properly cleaned when we first checked in, as we noticed the bed sheets had hair and crayon marks on them, and we found some small garbage at the corner of the room. We brought the issue to the front desk's attention the very next day (as we had checked-in late and were tired the night before). Ultimately after a second follow-up, the staff cleaned the room properly. Overall, just a relatively subtle inconvenience which was resolved in the end. It would be fantastic if the hotel could do a more thorough vaccum cleaning, specially for us with a toddler who is at an age that tends to put everything in their mouth, a clean room is a top priority. That said, overall our experience was positive and we'd still recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Bayshore inn is a very basic facility with everything needed and no extra frills. It is right by the lake. So lovely to sit on the deck chairs and watch and listen to the water and trees. Being in the town center means nearly everything is in walking distance. Clean, quiet, and all that is needed.

We booked a Lakeview standard suite, so 2 queen beds. We got a upper floor room ( 2 floors) which meant it was quieter but due to trees, a very limited lake view. Still pretty though. The beds were uncomfortable-kept rolling to the centre. Tge room looked recently refurbished. The TV was barely usable due to poor internet. Parking is sometimes full when the hotel is busy.

We were given 10% off Lakeside Chophouse breakfast. Stunning location. Service was good. My breakfast - shakshuka had to be sent back, my eggs were raw. When I got them back, they were still raw and the sauce was cooler, I suspect it went on a tour to the kitchen and back. I was not charged for the breakfast as I could not eat it, which was a shame as it was tasty

Bayshore was a great location, it would be hard to find a poor location in Waterton.

This is a bare bone really nice hotel right in Waterton Lake steps from Peace Park. The rooms were LARGE CLEAN NEWLY remodeled!! There are separate buildings for a spa, breakfast and dinner. No pool or fitness center which most Waterton hotels are similar. GREAT STAY WOULD RETURN!!

Room 1 the key card did not work and had to have front desk rekey 3 times until they decided it required maintenance to replace batteries 40 minutes later got into room. room did work upon arrival but when we returned from supper door would not open staff tried for 45 minutes and door opened once. they now had no maintenance on staff and they were moved to a upgraded room. in the morning I spoke the manager and his first response was you booked thru Expedia so he could not make a refund. I wasn't interested in a refund as the rooms were nice a the staff was trying there best. but to not have a maintenance person on staff after four pm is not good.

Unfortunately the staff gave us incorrect information twice and seemed very uncaring. They told us the boat to Crypt Lake Trail had stopped running, and that changed our plans completely. The boat was still running for three more days. The staff also told us that almost everything was shut down when in fact, it was not. It seems as if they were ready for the season to be over and it actually wasn’t.
I’m advising that when giving out information please make sure it is correct and take care of guests until the last day. The trip is special to them despite the time of season.

It’s a motel, not a resort / spa. The price does not match what you get. The room had nice furnishings. But we were placed next to the staff laundry room. It was so noisy in the morning. The machine gave the room a nice 72 decibel droning sound. Actually have a headache from staying here.
Also apparently the town shuts down the last weekend of September.
Bring a kite. It’s windy AF!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is an older one, as are all of the hotels in Waterton Park, but that makes it charming and this one has had some recent upgrades. Jeremy was extremely helpful in fixing a booking mistake i'd made. I'm forever grateful. We loved walking up to the Prince of Wales hotel for afternoon high tea and so many restaurants were in walking distance. Great stay!
