Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very nice the rooms were clean. The best was easy entry to the park with the two gates on the property. This is the only place I will stay when going to Cedar Point.

Location location location if spending time at the amusement park. Otherwise, rooms and hotel are very dated. Our hairdryer was broken and it took 4 calls to get a replacement. Everything is so convenient (restaurants, park etc) so we would come again if it weren’t for the 5+ hour drive

For what we paid, there were issues. No available in room coffee and no way to make hot tea. Had to go to Starbucks to get a paper cup. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. Clerk who checked us in was confusing to work with. Restaurants on site were all chain restaurants. On the plus side, the room was ready at check in although one of the two room keys did not work. Bed was comfortable.

We stayed in a standard 2 queen room with our 5 year old and 5 month old. I requested a travel crib/pack and play when I made the reservation, and the hotel noted my request but said they could not guarantee availability. We were able to check in a little early, and our room was ready at 3:00pm. I requested the crib at check in and a mini crib was delivered within an hour! The room is pretty standard but even with the crib and a stroller we still had plenty of space to move around.
The location is worth the premium price tag with small children! We used Early Entry and utilized the rider swap program for my husband and I to take turns for the bigger roller coasters.
We took a mid day break at the hotel during the hottest part of the day when the lines were the longest. Swim diapers are allowed and the splash pad pool was zero entry so the baby enjoyed splashing around.
No coffee in the room is annoying & the line for Starbucks gets long very quickly, but they did have several employees working to move things along.
Overall you’re paying for location, and for us, it was worth the convenience for the flexibility to come and go throughout the day.

I’m sorry but this place is a dump. Its only redeeming quality is that you can go back to the room while at Cedar Point. Which I know is a plus for many. But the amount they charge is absurd. Housekeeping never made beds or vacuumed the room during our entire stay. There was dirt in the bathroom corners including hair and pee on the bathroom wall. A used towel was shoved under the sink area. Everything was old and run down. There was dirt in the window sills and the place just smelled terrible. Never again. The staff seemed over all of it. Don’t get trapped on the island. Stay off property and just drive in. Breakers is a dump. I am sure people grew up going here and it’s nostalgic but for those of us who didn’t it’s just gross.

Beautiful beach ⛱️ easy access to Cedar Point, pools are very nice. Check in and Out not the easiest and staff seem clueless unfortunately but since they're probably new each year, not the best training in sure. They need more staff at front desk it takes a long time. Very convenient though if coming and going to Cedar Point. Very relaxing environment with the pools and beach. Minor inconvenience but a fun place to stay

If you’re looking for an amazing hotel experience while staying at CP this is it. When I ran out of steam in the middle of the afternoon it was really nice to spend 90 mins at my room cooling off, and an additional 90 mins beyond that enjoying the swimming pool/hot tub outside of the hotel. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the dining options were great as well. Absolutely recommend!

Car pass - when leaving facility and reentering we had to go thru security every time & show our email reservation. Why isn’t a car pass giving at check in to make this process easier?
The swimming pools were filthy, sand and dead bugs covered the bottom of the pool and duck poop that a fellow guest cleaned after 6 staff members ignored the problem.
Water fountains by the pools were filthy with dead bugs and bird dung!
Requested room service after they skipped our room, they left the dirty wet towels on the floor and the beds look like they were made by a 3 year old.
Why no coffee makers in the room? I know so Starbucks can make $$ but the line at Starbucks in the morning was 30-40 people deep.
The ice machine in the 5th floor didn’t work.
When we arrive in Friday there was a streak on mud on the tile at the elevators. When we left on Sunday it was still there!
The mattresses/beds and pillows were very uncomfortable & very low quality. We all had back & neck aches.
We had our coffee on the patio Sunday morning, it was hard to find a clean table because there were half empty pizza boxes, and empty cases of beer on numerous tables.
Only positive, the location. but when you charge over $450 dollars per night we expect an enjoyable, relaxing experience, unfortunately this stay was not. We would never recommend this hotel. the owner, management and staff should be ashamed of shelves because this was a team effort to the depths of customer service and corporate greed.

Rollercoaster view was enjoyable and easy access in and out. Perfect location to magnum gate and boardwalk beach entrance. Early entry to get in the park was great on the day you check in and check out because you can get in line for rides before the park opens to the public. Room was good, fridge and freezer nice size. Air was perfect kept it cold. Beds were comfortable. Our shower head was broken not a big deal just didn’t like it spraying water all over. Need a bigger garbage can in the room. The one night we wanted to go to the outdoor swimming pool closed because of lightening and the indoor pool was so over crowded. The ice cream selection at night had only one flavor so skipped that, The beach was nice except a few dead fish laying on the sand. My family has been staying at Breakers since I was a young girl. My own family has stayed here twice now. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was clean and the room had some nice amenities with the larger fridge and microwave. The air conditioning was wonderful and my view with the balcony was nice. However, I was in the West Tower and everything is in a different tower, including the front desk. None of the restaurants or gift shop took cash. There were machines to change cash into cards. But, this was not always handy. The line to get coffee was always long in the morning. Free parking was available, which was nice and the parks were in walking distance. Most of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I did not get breakfast any of the days I was there. The phone reception was very poor but the WiFi worked well. All in all, for what I paid I feel it was very overpriced.

This is a very good hotel but for the price I expected more. The bedding was bedding for an economy hotel. Pillows were basic foam and covers scratchy. Also there should be a coffee maker in the room. That just made for the budget hotel feel for the room but not a budget hotel price.

The room was very clean but smelled like someone cooked fish in the microwave. The tub did not drain properly and unfortunately due to the weather the staff in the water park had to rush out and left the music on till 12:30 in the morning. Checking out was easy peasy and the screens on the balcony was amazing especially at peak bug season. all in all I would consider staying again but not at over $500/night

The hotel and grounds are just beautiful. The staff is wonderful. For the price I was really surprised at how barren the room was. Very cheap looking, very sparse bedding no extra blankets no coffee maker. I recently stayed at a comfort Inn and it had free breakfast coffee maker in the room comparing the actual room. There was no comparison comfort Inn was so much nicer. The AC unit never stopped running! We decided it wasn’t The room itself. That was the jaw. It’s the amenities around it. There was no free breakfast not even free morning coffee in the lobby.

The room was clean, but very basic. The tv in room was tiny and had very few channels. There was no in room coffee maker. The pools were overcrowded and the lifeguards would not let you wear diving goggles that covered your nose. My son can’t get water in his nose so that pretty much ruined the whole pool experience for my family. Over all it was a clean place to sleep that was very convenient for walking to the park.. but for what they offered it is not worth anywhere near the price. Cedar points express hotel costs a fraction of what this hotel costs and the rooms are better all around.

My only complaint was that their systems went down and they were unable to issue us a room/room key for about 4 hours and they did not text us when the system was fixed. We had to show up, not once, but twice on our own to figure it out.

I traveled to this hotel with my three children. We had a wonderful time. When I requested extra blankets housekeeping was there in under 10 minutes. The walk to the park entrance was so close. The hotel had everything you need. We stayed for 2 nights. We could have stayed longer. The sunset sky in the evening was lovely. The lights of the theme park were also cool. The beach has activities for families. Volleyball, cornhole, music. I would love to visit again. My complaints would be that the bed squeaked and that the mattresses aren’t very comfortable. Additionally the elevators and west wing entrance could be cleaner. But, our room and the rest of the hotel was very clean. Starbucks was a bit too crowded which slowed my morning down. I packed my own tea and honey but there are no coffee/tea pots in the hotel room so I did go to Starbucks each morning. The walking and the hotel are great! If you’re visiting cedar point I do not think it gets anymore convenient than that. My older boys could come and go from the hotel and park as they please. This allowed me to go at my younger sons pace. Everyone had what they needed.

Other than that, not a bad experience considering it’s on the beach and on the lake.

The hotel's selling feature is that is it within the Cedar Point amusement park. This is true, but finding or being directed to the road that takes you to the hotel was somewhat challenging to find. All groups within our party had an issue with this and the signage that does exist is after you are past the tollbooths to the parking lot.
Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff in the TGI Friday's were friendly and bartenders Michael, Nick, and Abby were happy to learn about how a martini can be served bruised or to make it skate.
Staying here also provides access to Cedar Point 1 hour earlier than non-guests which does help on getting on a ride or 2 prior to the park's official opening.

For the price you pay, it is simply not a high end lodging experience. It is convenient to the park, but other than that fact, it is an unremarkable hotel. You stand in lines for everything, no coffee makers in the rooms, and the place seemed dated. Definitely understaffed. Feels like Six Flags is trying to recoup the merger expenses on the backs of guests and employees.

The place is great and obviously is it wonderful to be able to get into the park an hour ahead of time.

What I found frustrating was that there was a deal online in the Six Flags app for a $29 ticket if you stayed at the hotel. One of the hotel staff was helping me and wanted to get me that deal and sent me to the gift shop. When I got to the gift shop, they didn't know what I was doing, so we went back to the front desk. At the front desk, the person who was helping me wasn't there at the moment and another service member was really rude about it and said there was no way to use that deal unless I booked online. I did book online, but she said I would need to rebook right then. I was obviously already a guest and that wasn't going to help. The hotel costs a pretty penny to stay at, so you would think it would be beneficial to try and keep people coming back by hooking them up with deals like that one, but in the end I just paid the hotels price because I had been run around the place for about 45 minutes.

Unfortunately the TGF ON property did a very very poor job full meals being served before any beverage’s kids sodas , cocktails all drinks . One meal delivered at least 30 minutes before any other food was brought to table and that food was incorrect in every easy possible and how do I finally got our drinks we got the wrong ones. Manager came to the table to correct the problem order a food to replace the food that was wrong and then absolutely never came back with the food. Had to ask somebody else 30 more minutes later.. very bad experience at TGIF very great hotel

The bathtub was clogged and filled with water as you showered and the bathroom in general is tiny. I’ve seen posts of not enough shampoo etc but they had plenty in our room. Blankets are very very thin to keep in mind and pillows were fine. The selling feature is how convenient it is for the park and the cool vibe you get being at cedar point, I would recommend if you have the money. Restaurants are not great and very expensive. Views are nice staff are helpful but you can tell mostly seasonal.

Location inside of Cedar Point was great! The hotel itself was fine. However, I am not sure we would ever stay again. We got there early on day one, well prior to check-in. Had to wait 1/2 hr in line to get to the desk. Obviously our room was not ready but we were able to get checked in and get out park tickets. They told us they would text us when our rooms were ready.

Went to the park for a couple of hours and at 3:30p, still no text. So, we get back in line, waited another 1/2 hr, only to find out that our rooms were still not ready! Check-in time is 4p and it was 4p!

Went back in to the park and received a text that our room was ready, 15 minutes later! We went back to the hotel and now the line to check in was even longer, probably a 45 minute wait!

Moral of the story is that the hotel is fine but clearly their check-in process is flawed. Even though we went through the process to sign everything and put down the security deposit in the morning, we still had to wait in that line just to get our room keys.

The line remained long in to the night, hearing complaints from many other guests. Clearly it’s a problem they need to rectify.

Great location and definitely worth staying for the convenience. Being right inside the park saves a lot of time and energy, especially in the morning. The early park entry is a huge advantage - we were able to enjoy several popular rides before the big crowds arrived.

However, there were a couple of downsides.

The blankets were surprisingly thin, which made the room less comfortable at night.

The biggest issue was the check-out process. It took about 25 minutes just to return the room keys. Since most guests are trying to get to the park quickly in the morning, the hotel should really consider adding an express check-out option or a separate line for simple key drop-off. It felt unnecessarily slow and disorganized.
