We stayed three days for Halloween weekend so the outside pool was closed. The inside pool is nice. It had a hot tub. There is no towels at the pool so you need to bring your own. We stayed on the west wing so we had the beach view . Staying on the west wing is pretty far away from the restaurants and Starbucks. Far enough i really didn't want to walk that far lol . We didn't try the restaurants because we didn't want to spend that much money. My cup of cold brew at Starbucks was 12 dollars. We just drove into Sandusky and ate at Golden corral or other restaurants. We also bought the all day pass to eat at cedar point it was only 40 a person. The rooms are nice and clean and plenty of room for us two and two kids. There are no amenities like shampoo conditioner like most places in Sandusky so bring everything you need. Beautiful hotel and staff were very nice. Very convenient to walk out of your hotel straight into the park.

We've been to this lovely unique convenient location hotel b4 and they upgraded our room to a suite which was a very nice perk as the larger space enabled my son to invite a friend to go with him on the wild Cedar Point rides since I'm older.

Breakers is overpriced and a bit lacking for on-site amenities but you can't beat the location right on the lake and next to the best amusement park in the world! Wish they had more restaurant options and some longer hours for food/drinks after the park closes, but if you're staying here you're likely spending most of your time at Cedar Point anyway!

We had minimal interactions with staff but when we did, everyone was friendly. Our room was clean except for quite a few dead mosquitoes in various places within the room, including on the bed. You can't beat the convenience of being able to walk to the parks

Definitely the most convenient way to ride roller coasters!! It was nice being able to walk back and forth and take a break. Loved the outdoor fire pits at night when we got back from the park. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and just fine but the bathroom, although clean, could have used a little TLC. Wishing there was a 24-hour grab and go of some kind for food. Would have been nice to grab a sandwich when you get back from the park. We will definitely stay there again!!

I know a lot of people hate on this but I've been going to Cedar Point my whole life-- the bugs/spiders are always a thing because of the location, and that's never going to change. The rooms were a touch dated but ours was clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice. You really can't beat the convenience of being able to come in and out of the park and relax. We had a great time!

Location is great. It is pricey but room was clean and spacious. The only complaint is the shower head is at a weird position so I felt like I had to lean to far back but not a huge deal.

Nice beach and convenient to Cedar Point Park. However, we did not go to Cedar Point. We paid extra for a room with a balcony facing the lake. The screen was so filthy it was not a nice view the rail was across eye level while sitting in chairs. Unless you are going to the park I would not recommend staying at the Breakers hotel. Very expensive for the room. Ate at the TGI Fridays and the fish was cold and not cooked on the inside.

Check in process is awful. It takes too long. Don’t be full service at the front desk when people who don’t need tickets to everything just want their room keys. Go digital for check in. It’s 2025. One of the elevators in the west building apparently hasn’t been working in a year. Too expensive to stay there for them to not fix their issues.

The perks and location are why you stay here. Being able to walk into the park and take advantage of the hour of early entry is hard to beat. The hotel lobby and common areas are nicely appointed and were decorated for Halloween. The room though... I would put it a slight notch above a Motel 6 because the bed wasn't rock hard. Surfaces were not terribly clean and all of the seams of the bathtub insert were peeling badly. I would say the word that came to mind with the room was \"cheap\". The park has world class attractions but the Hotel Breakers is far from that standard.

I had a great time during my visit at Hotel Breakers. First off, I traveled here from Los Angeles just to visit Cedar Point for 4 days. Since my time was limited, I booked 3 nights at this hotel just for the convenience. Our room was clean, and bedsheets were fresh. However the bathtub was cracking and it didn't look as well maintained as everything else so that was a little disappointing. Mind you, this hotel is VERY expensive, so I figured the price point would reflect the establishment and its upkeep, but some areas were lacking. Since the hotel is right by the park it definitely came in handy to be so close just in case we wanted to take a break from all the rollercoasters. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and checking in and out was a breeze, especially since it was my first time booking a stay at a hotel. Overall, if you have more time to spare I would suggest staying at a more reasonably priced hotel that is a short drive from the park, maybe one that actually offers free breakfast. But if you have limited time and cannot drive around, then pick Hotel Breakers.

The outside pools were cold because we were told that management didn't want to turn on the heaters. Overall, we enjoyed our rooms that overlooked the bay. Its seems that everyone we encountered from checking in to ordering food was having a bad day and their customer service represented that. Customer service aside, the cleanliness of our room was subpar. You could see dirt all along the bathroom floor, the bedding was wrinkled and smelled stale like it had been left in the washer too long. The location is beautiful! However, if you want to communicate with your family, take walkie talkies. The cell service is horrible no matter who your provider is. I was a little disappointed that the door to the bathroom wouldn't close, either because it was hung incorrectly or because of swelling. If you want Starbucks, get there at 6am when they open. The same goes for eating at Perkins. They opened at 7am when I was there. Your entire party must be there in order to be seated. The resort is cashless so you can only use debit or credit. There are Cash-to-Card machines on the property. Other than that, it was a nice play to stay!
