TV didn’t work at first. I had to troubleshoot and reset the frozen satellite receiver which took 15 minutes.
The shower head bracket was broke so it needed to be held the entire time. The shampoo along with the body wash containers in the shower were completely empty.
The window curtains were unable to be shut or non existent with bright light from outside shining in the room all night. The coffee was atrocious.

Fairly clean and up to date facilities. Staff were less friendly than your average hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. Had to wait far too long for refills of the hot foods. No standard tea options were available - everything had some fruit flavour. No basic black tea for two days running. There’s a Walmart around the corner, send someone. Given the many options in town, I would not stay there again.

I’m finding that Comfort Inns are middle of the road. Been to 2 in the last 2 months. The one in Findlay was pretty run down inside and out. The one in Sandusky Ohio had some work done on it but the mattresses were in need of being replaced. Staffing seemed a little short especially with breakfasts at both places. Been to other hotels where they check on the breakfast items all the time to keep them replenished and the coffee.

We arrived late afternoon 7/3. I had to ring the bell to check in and eventually someone came to the counter. I was charged a $75 pet fee plus a $50 incidental fee (which was later removed from my credit card). I told the person at the desk that the fee is listed as only $50 per stay on Hotels.com which is where I booked with. She seemed incredibly apologetic, but said there was no manager available and nothing she could do. She HAD to charge me that fee and told me to email them which I promptly did within an hour of arriving. I sent a 2nd email to them since then and they never replied.
Hotels.com did give me a credit for the $25 variance and was great about handling it.
Next, we get settled and went to dinner. About an hour later, we get a call that our dogs are barking. Can we calm them? I said we would return ASAP. Our unit was at the end of the 3rd floor closest to the stairwell. Unfortunately, there were no quiet closers installed so every time someone used the stairwell, the door slammed shut loudly, alarming our dogs.
When we returned from dinner, our dogs were NOT barking.
An hour after that, I received ANOTHER call that there were more complaints about my dogs. Funny thing is...My dogs were NOT barking...it was another dog in the middle of the floor.
Someone named Alexis texted me to see how my stay was going. Promised to call when I replied poorly...never did.
The breakfast was the ONLY good thing. Bathtub was also moldy + beds not comfy. Very motel-like.

Although the property appears a little run down and the plumbing wasn’t great, the customer service was excellent. We visited for the Half Ironman in Sandusky and were beyond impressed that breakfast (both sit down and bagged) was available from 4:30am!

Was very noisy all night,very old ran down, pool was indoor but paint on bottom was all peeling up, my room was on 2nd floor the beds were not to bad but the bathroom was horrible peeling paint on ceiling and mold. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room we stayed in. I had to exchange a pillow because it had somebody previous’ foundation on it. There were sunflower seeds all over the sides of the beds. The elevator was gross. It was not impressive. The only part about our stay that was decent was the breakfast attendant was friendly, kind, and professional as well as the gentleman running the front desk in the morning named Art was absolutely kind and caring in regards to our room situation.

Was disappointed in this particular Hampton Inn, elevator was very small and slow, whirlpool was not working and pool did not look clean. Work out room you had to go through the pool area to get to it and it was very warm and humid in there. There was some kind of leak or problem downstairs when we arrived, which I know was not their fault but didn’t leave a great first impression and there was no tv remote in the room so we had to go downstairs to get another one. The place otherwise was clean and the staff was friendly

Then sent us to their other location that was 10 miles away so we were a good 30 minutes from where we were trying to go. We get to the other location and their pool is broken and they were not willing to discount anything they were actually going to charge us more. I will never book a room at this location again
