This hotel is old and in need of a renovation but for the price it’s very hard to say anything bad about it. We have stayed here multiple times in the past and have never seen any type of bugs. The rooms have always been clean and the front desk workers have always been very kind and helpful. Great hotel for the price we will definitely be back.

It's dated, but pretty clean for an inexpensive hotel. They did provide good coffee in the lobby. They really embrace the wolf theme, as well as skeletons riding a bike, fishing in the pool, and the awesome wolf comforters on every bed.

Clerk warned me probably won't be able to use wifi because it's satelite he was correct. Carpet was filthy no vending so no ice no phone the 27\" tv kept going out room smelled I brought our own blankets in from the car to use because sheets felt funny. The beds are horrible. They promised a rollaway bed, but there wasn’t one. I had to ask the front desk, and the rollaway beds are just springs with no cushion on top—you have to sleep directly on the springs. Terrible. Have to drive 15 minutes to get food nothing close by.

We chose this motel because it had 3 beds which was awesome and fairly close to cedar point. I was not expecting much for the price and it exceeded my expectations. I will stay again next time I visit Sandusky.

Although we tead the other reviews and just needed a quick cheap place to sleep after the 2nd day none of us could sleep due to the conditions. Electrical outlets didnt work or werw falling out of walls, everything was beyond dirty, locks didnt work, when i asked for 2 keys to each room i was met with extreme hesitation and when my daughter returnwd dirty towels to get new ones the person behind the desk was irritated and annoyed that we even asked. We ended uo checking out a day early and 1 hr after check out bc we were at a baseball tournament until noon we got back and immediately packed up and werw checked out by 1245- when i explained we were leaving a day early due to not having to stay to play the next day we were denyed a refund for the lasy night as check out is at 11am and it was 1245- we didnt want to stay there any longer than we needed too- also the windows to the rooms were hard to lock and the ac units had mushrooms growing around them and alge and mold. Sheets were dirty and bed frames had metal rods sticking out to the point you hit your shin on them. Bathroom had mold, dry rot wood and no toilet paper holders. The price is what it is bc your taking a huge risk staying there also the pool is not operational

Let's start with only positive comments: evening front desk person was very personable. And I was able to take very hot shower both night and next morning. Bed was okay, but all linens stained, and should be tossed. Evening desk clerk provided me with acceptable bed linens. No freezer section in fridge. Musty smell in room, and some tobacco smell, although it's a non-smoking room. Someone pounded on door after 11, and then tried to enter my room. I belive some people not \"guests\", but long-term. Extremely thin walls, with next door neighbors partying until after midnight; others partying outside of room until later than that. No night desk clerk, so couldn't register complaint with anyone.

Dont believe everything you read on travel apps like Expedia. ALWAYS CALL THE MOTEL/HOTEL, before booking to confirm offered amenities. Expedia stated this lodging venue had a pool and continental breakfast. They had a pool, but it was empty and not available. They also didnt have breakfast. Only coffee available thru the night. Toilet seat was cracked, had an open safety pin underneath the sheets and cut my guest on the ankle. Probably the worst place ive ever stayed overnight at. NEVER AGAIN!

\"You get what you pay for!\" This was the least expensive room I could find, and now I know why. The single hand towel that was in the bathroom looked like a stained old rag that you would keep in the garage. The carpet on the floor looked stained and grubby, but the rest of the room was not so much dirty as just damp and worn. I will say that the bed was much more comfortable than the luxury hotel I stayed in for a few nights just before this!

When we arrived, there were sticky substances on the wall--some of it looked like bugs and other stuff was just yellow. The sheets had yellow stains on them, there was a random stick in the shower, and black mold was growing around the shower head. The tile floor was completely filthy and had dead bugs all over it. The towels that they provided, looked uncleaned and disgusting. I would rather sleep in my car than ever stay here again.
