Room was clean! Most staff were friendly.. we did not know this was the last weekend, before closing for winter. They had us upstairs and no elevator.so gave us another room downstairs.
But the room they gave us was on the outside and our vehicle couldn't not park near the room.
Another staff member saw us struggling with our suitcases to walk the 10 or so rooms down.
The Manager then came to our room and said she would get us a room were we could park our vehicle in front of door. TV did not work in new room. Breakfast was served with only eggs, instant oatmeal, orange juice, coffee, Sausage, eggs, a few muffins, oranges! I asked for more eggs and we needed forks. They were out, could not find anyone at front desk, called out no one answered. One guest told me kitchen staff was sitting in their car. So I called out to her , she was moving with the music so I called loud enough so she could her me. She came out of her truck screaming at me telling me she was entitled to a break. I told her there was no one at front desk, she also said they don't make any more food. I let her know we have no forks and they had no waffles, dry cereal, muffins , toast, etc she continued screaming, and I screamed back at her. This young woman truly needed an attitude adjustment. I told the woman that got us the different room, about this staff member and she said she would deal with her. Then found out she was the staff members mother.

Our room was not serviced the next day, I asked the front desk and he said they don’t service till the 3 day, but I check the description online and it say they due housekeeping “daily”. Couldn’t get extra towels due to the front desk not having access to housekeeping room. The smoke detector went off after my shower due to the steam, couldn’t turn off and needed to take battery out.

The room I stayed in was clean and the beds were comfortable enough, but the security latch on the door was completely broken off and missing. It was obvious the door had been forced open at some point. There were a lot of bugs around the light right outside the room, and many got inside when we entered. There was no fitness room, just a room with a bunch of paint cans. There were two waffle makers for breakfast, but both were broken.

Only downfalls were the tV worked on Friday when we got there then Saturday and Sunday it did not work. And we came back to the hotel 11pm and later and had no energy to deal with it. Only other downfall was we asked for towels 3 times one morning and never received them. Had to make due with what we had!

Wi Fi was reliable , but someone didn’t pay the cable bill and only could receive local channels on tv. Room was ok but since it is a motel that night time bugs a major issue with lights on and had to hurry to get into room without any following you inside. We were set in the far corner of the motel considering the parking lot was empty when arrived at 5pm Friday. The best saving grace was the water pressure was good in the shower. Several room we saw were disorganized and not put together, mattresses up against windows. Fridge was good and provided great cooling drinks we brought with us. Morning breakfast was standard fare of all hotels. Eggs, sausage, waffles , toast, yogurt, coffee , juice. If you want a cheap stay not caring about the room at cedar point this is your place to stay.

This place is absolutely terrible! Went there to visit the theme park in the area and checked into our room and went straight to the park…when we were done at the park we went back to the room and discovered that our door did not close all the way, went to the office and asked to switch rooms and was told that we couldn’t because they didn’t have anybody to clean the rooms that were vacant so we just had to deal with it. So we had to put a chair in front of our door so we felt safe at night. The linens were dirty, we found old food under the chair that we moved to put in front of the door to feel safe, Internet didn’t work, Bathroom was disgusting. Terrible experience!

I read all the reviews online and I can pretty much honestly say they were ALL correct, both the good and bad reviews. We had pretty much every issue mentioned that I read at check-in. Had to go down to front desk to get keys 3 times because they would not work, which was a big issue because the kid that originally checked us in said they were completely booked and had no other rooms available, so we had to get that door to open, but then another guy came out of nowhere to fix the problem. The door would not open for him either, so he nonchalantly said, \"No problem we'll just put you in the room next door.\" He went, got key cards, came back, opened the door and said, \"Have a good night.\" Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant but almost seemed like good cop bad cop routine. They did fix the issue though and all was well. The parking is a bit of an issue too as they have overflow parking behind the building where it is kind of dark and creepy. I was told to park here even though the regular parking area was almost completely empty at the time, which seemed suspicious to me. Overall, not a bad place to stay if you are an alert person that watches your surroundings and pays attention and if you are only staying for a couple days. I would never let my wife and girls stay here alone. Quite a few shady people and beggars around the building most the time. Gym is storage room for hotel and not usable.

The hotel was overall decent. The price of the room was good for the area. It is a family-friendly hotel, in a location very close to Cedar Point. The morning staff at check out was very friendly.

Don't let the looks fool you. The staff were absolutely wonderful and the location for the price is truly unbeatable. The cleanliness isn't the best but with some disinfecting wipes it was fine. The beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious and they even told us they'd refund us the second night because we ended up leaving a night early. They didn't do it but the offer was super awesome even if we got let down they didn't follow thru.

Didn't enjoy it. Bed was comfy but the cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the place wasn't up to par. Nice staff. But there were pubes in the bathtub when I went to shower and the towels weren't clean and some were still wet so I ended up not showering. The breakfast in the morning tasted well.

The Cable was not working and the room had a noticeable odor. There is no back parking, so you cannot see your vehicle if they give you a room on the back side of the building. There are young folks up partying up all night making noise. The open air hallways are not well lit to cut through to your room.

My sister said the chicken quesadillas at the Mexican restaurant beside the hotel were the best she's ever had. Also, the front desk staff and housekeeping were so friendly. Will be coming back here.

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone had to change rooms 3 time cause the first room was dirty had ants and air conditioner didn’t work the second room I was given was already occupied by someone the third room was better but the air still didn’t work properly. I paid for a king size room and was given a standard double bed room all 3 times. Breakfast was so pare and super basic. Requested a total refund for my stay to go elsewhere but all hotels in the area was booked my stay was for 4 days and I checked out a day early and ended my mini vacation.

Upon arrival I was greeted by an awful garbage smell and flickering lights. In the lobby a guest was checking out before staying due to bed bugs and a not working AC. Another guest came in to complain about the garbage smell. I requested a full refund and cancelation. I was told this was going to happen and was charged anyway.

The tv didn’t work so I had went to the office. Guy fixed it. 20 min later it stopped working again. Went back to the office guy fixed it. And a 3rd time still the same issue! Hopefully we don’t have any more issues! Not worth the money I paid! And bugs on the ceiling too! 10/10 will NOT be back! And highly do NOT recommend! Spend the extra money for a nicer place! I’m pregnant at my last weeks I asked nicely to get 1st floor room, the stuff at the check-in rejected. While I was going upstairs I found 2 available rooms. After I get into the room I found a big bug and the Aircondition was off.

The motel was not the best for the price. The sheets were clean and the bed comfortable, but the tv didn't work (could not find the right input, and nothing worked when trying to change cords) and it had a mildewy smell that I believe was coming from the shower curtain. The tile floor felt gross, but not sure if it wasn't cleaned properly, or just old tile. If we were planning on staying for more than one day, we would have left.

BEWARE!!! If you check-in anytime after Midnight they said their computer blocks your reservation and you will lose your room. I'm sure if they wanted to collect money, they would manage to find your reservation without a problem.

70 buck stay for a 70 buck experience
So-for a 70 dollar room-it was a 70 dollar stay 😆. No one I spoke with could get the tvs to work who were staying there. Apparently every time it’s turned off, the input changes and you have to manually switch it, the remote won’t do it. And that’s if the cable box doesn’t turn off, and you have to manually reset that as well.
Our shower water kept running-we told the front desk, they didn’t seem too bothered, but this was after the staff came out of another room in a burst of cheeba smoke like he was busting out of the back of the mystery machine on Scooby Doo.
Make sure you run your air conditioner at all times! If not, it will legit smell like the mold off of a dead body in there.

My stay was awful. The room is old and run down. Went to Breakfast and it wasn't ready. The air-condition was not working properly. Will never ever stay at a Baymont ever again.

When walking up to the front desk from the parking lot, i was already regretting choosing this place. The person at the counter seemed as though I bothered them by coming in for my booked reservation. The smell of w@@d was so strong, and I was traveling with a child even outsideas people just had their room doors open amoking inside, even thoughits non smoking. .

Upon arriving, there was a handwritten note that you have to check in by midnight. It was 11:50 and the front desk was already abandoned. I waited 10 minutes and someone finally showed up. I was checked in, assigned the wrong room, walked in on a poor family getting ready for bed, and then went back... tried again. Waited again. I think the night staff was partying in a room somewhere. the gentleman whom I'd walked in on joined me in the wait as his key no longer worked. While we waited, another woman entered, found out there was no one at the desk and quipped that she was tricked into thinking this place was nice by it's name... \"Baymont sounds nice,\" she said, \"but I dont' see no suites.\" (There are none). They couldn't believe the mix up and apologised. The listing says 24 hour front desk. The gentleman working the front desk on our second night was far more professional. I came on a busy weekend and the high price gave me false confidence that this place would be okay. The beds were ok. The shower backed up water into the tub because the drain was broken. The A/C worked well. The key to my room always worked in 10 tries or less. The bathroom fan was super noisy. The desk was too high to work at comfortably. I think that about sums it up.

Pictures did not match the property, building is a completely different color, refrigerator in room never got cold, asked for a trash bag and was given the answer \"we don't got many i can only give you one\" Asked for a early check in and was told no, you booked at 3, come back at 3. There 1 night and moved to another hotel. Air conditioner didn't work, tv in both our rooms didn't work or remotes. Maintenance showed up the next afternoon as we were leaving. Torn sheet in one of the rooms, spider in bathtub, managers long hair around food and she's smoking all the time. Worst place ever!

The best place to crash after being at CP all day
This is always my go-to when i come to cedar point! Its right down the road, breakfast is hot and delish (dont slack on making a waffle sanwich!!!!), and ultimately the staff is so so so friendly!! Rooms are just your basic rooms, always clean and stocked, ready for your exhausted crash out from the big, busy day.

1 - The toilet did not flush properly. You had flush it a few times before it fully flushed.
2 - The refrigerator had a weird stale smell. I only used it to keep my water bottles cold and it worked fine, it just had a slight stale smell.

DONOT STAY HERE. Checked in paid cash lost receipt. They still charged the card on file. Called GM and She said the money wasn’t where it usually is but found it and she refunded . Then charged me again on cc? Now they won’t return calls or respond to email! They told my cc no discrepancy in the draw! Really someone took the money knowing they can charge the card and I wouldn’t notice! Staff is stealing and WYNDHAM DON’T CARE ! All they needs to do is Pull The Camera but haven’t!

I, Trinity Williams stayed here with my Aunt after a full day of fun at Cedar Point. The front desk staff was friendly, fast and efficient. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were super luxurious, they were Beauty Rest, one of the nicest mattresses I ever slept on. The pillows were a little mushy, I brought my own, but I left them in the car because these ones were ok, but if you like firm pillows you should bring your own. The shower was hot and just right as far as pressure goes. The breakfast was great! The woman overseeing breakfast was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to sleep.

Upon check-in, the hotel staff had locked themselves out of the office, so we were forced to wait until they could get keys to get in. Once open, we were informed that they were short staffed all day and no King Bed rooms were available for us, so we were going to have to go to a different hotel. The lady at the front was very kind and arranged it, so we left and drove across town.
We were sent to the Comfort Inn. The lady at their front desk knew we were coming but did not believe we had already paid for the room, even after I showed her our paid receipt. She then sent us to our room which was also did not have a King bed, it had two Twin beds. Not at all what we booked and paid for and extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the lights kept flickering on and off all over the room, and the bathroom was only partially cleaned.
We do not frequently book with Hotel.com, but this experience was horrible. We did not get to stay where we booked, we ended up some where else, didn't get the room type we paid for, had small uncomfortable beds, defective lighting, and a dirty bathroom. This was completely unacceptable!

wrong. The hotel was great! The front desk was amazing. We had a quick check in and friendly vibes. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was fully stocked with soaps and lotions. We did run into a couple of issues. Our room key never worked consistently. We had to return to the front desk multiple times (three at one point) just to get access. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room wasn’t working, and although maintenance was supposed to fix it, they never showed up. Thankfully, the property had an ice machine, which we used to keep items cool in our own cooler.
