Wow, I was blown away by how cool this place is! The suite was so nice and didn’t feel like a hotel room at all. The complimentary surprises at check in was amazing, my daughter and I enjoyed bowling and yummy food at the restaurant. Spend the extra money and stay here, you will not regret it!

I have stayed here in the past but I won't be coming back. The staff was friendly but very hard to find. I had to hunt someone down mutiple times The \"front desk\" number is not monitored nor is anyone avaliable when issues arise. The bathroom was very dirty. Black substances in the corners of the tub and tile. The room was very dark as half of the light bulbs were burnt out.
Normally the room comes with a wristband for bowling but they didnt include that since they were charging $25 an hour per person since it was new years eve. Around 130am a drunk man started pounding on all the doors and berating with a small child in the hallway. This continued until 330am when I finally found someone in the bar to help. The man was smoking pot in the hallway so my room smelled like weed and so did all of my clothes. The staff while nice didnt seem to care about how this guest was disturbing the other guests well after the appropriate new years hoopla. I'm all for having a good time but noje of this trip was fun. It used to be a cute place to stay and I didn’t mind the outdated bathrooms previously.

Not Family Friendly Hotel
This hotel was a not really family friendly. In fact I’m not sure I’d consider it a hotel. It’s more of an entertainment complex with some rooms. It’s very close to Cedar Point but there is no hotel lobby and it’s hard to find the check in as it is literally a desk inside the door of a bar and gambling hall. If you are looking for a nice entrance, you will miss it. We showed up late after our trip to Cedar Point and I had children with me. I had to walk them through the bar and gambling area to get to our room. It was a bit uncomfortable. The woman woman who check us in seemed indifferent and was eating a push pop the entire time helping us.
The rooms are kitschy with the stable theme. Definitely not big enough for 5. Luckily we were just sleeping. The bed was comfortable but there were 3 of us sleeping in a double. Luckily we are a close family. The booking said good for 5.
The room cleanliness was ok. They did offer a free bottle of wine and beer. Probably to help get over the shock of the “lobby”. We noticed a fake finger nail on the bathroom floor so probably not deeply cleaned.

The room was nice. The bathroom was not that clean. There was built up dust on the vent in the shower. The toilet did not flush properly, maintenence had to come fix. Shower water backed up into tub as well. Customer service was great and rhe freebies were nice. I don't think I would stay again as its in a bar and very noisy. There was a party outside the backdoor of about 20 people yelling and drinking past midnight.

There are so many great things to say about this amazing find. The rooms were gorgeous, very clean, conveniently located, connected to the thirsty pony by a long hallway also connected to a bowling alley as well, laser tag, ax throwing and an arcade. When we walked in the room the lovely front desk person named Amanda was amazing and friendly, showed us up to our room. In our room there were four beers for us to try from local breweries. There was a full bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We will absolutely be back.

The room was dirty for a couple reasons. One the carpet looks like it’s never been cleaned. The sink was falling off the wall and the sink itself was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. The sink did not drain at all and so maintenance had to be called and the next morning they took care of it. When it came time for housekeeping in the morning. The bed was made and none of our trash from night before hadn’t been removed. Sink was still dirty. Also the pics online do no depict this room appropriately.

Also, complimentary bowling(there’s a bowling alley attached to the hotel along with a bar/restaurant) and there was complimentary wine & beer in our room. I didn’t care for the check-in process which was in the restaurant/bar area. It took about 20 minutes before anyone waited on me. Minus the check-in, it was a great place for our one night stay.

Upon pulling up to the property we noticed at the entrance there was huge group of people partying in the parking lot/entrance. They were sitting in chairs, blaring music, drinking and smoking pot. There were cups and bottles of empty liquor all over. It was a routy crowd. I didn’t want to walk my kids past them. I went in alone to check in. I had to wait 40 mins until the restaurant slowed down to check in. When I first asked to check in the hostess had no idea what I was talking about. Again after 40 mins I finally got checked in. I was showed the room which was nice. They had beer, wine and water for free. I then went out to get my kids and husband. The crowd had grown, cars were there blaring music. Very uncomfortably and trash! I wouldn’t stay here again.

Unbelievable, this place smelled horribly the room had trash particles in the corners, the common area was not vacuumed. The toilet would not flush unless you held the handle down, the door to the restroom would not shut, it seemed off tract, I would not recommend nor stay there again.
Also they should have on their site a checkbox as to whether we would like to have beer and wine in the room. I would have checked no, because I do not drink. If I could capture the smell I would post it.

Cleanliness of the room could definitely have been better. TV remote was missing from the room but a new one was brought up quickly when we called down to the desk. Check-in is a little confusing as where to go but with help from a staff member they got us taken care of. There is definitely a lot to do on the property. The free bowling plus wine and beer in the room is a great touch.

So happy we took a chance on staying somewhere else rather than our usual pick in Sandusky. The room was gorgeous and clean with exception of the carpet (ewww). There were 4 free beers PLUS a bottle of wine provided in the room. We ate dinner at the Thirsty Pony which was amazing!!! We also received free wristbands for bowling and enjoyed that very much. We didn’t get to do axe throwing or laser tag because every time we went up to the desk no one was there but it was explained to us that they were pretty understaffed. They did warn us not to put our phones next to our room key which we followed however we still had a problem using them to access our room at times but overall we would definitely book with them again! Thanks for a great stay!

Really nice rooms I mean if you have claustrophobic people with you they will be safe here. Very large room with everything you need on site. Not far from the mall or theme parks. Free chocolate, wine, and local craft beers complimented. Would stay again if in the area.

Rooms are cool and unique. Floor wasn't very clean in our room. There was a lot of dust around them (no carpeting) and an old popped balloon which means things weren't probably deep cleaned unfortunately. This place exceeded my expectations. It’s the nicest place I’ve stayed when visiting Cedar Point. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. They also gave you free wine, beer, and chocolate! Staff was kind and walks you to your room on arrival. My only complaint was it was a bit loud in the morning, there was a family with kids staying down the way that were yelling and running around but that can’t be helped. I will stay here again!

The only difficult part was trying to check into the hotel through Thirty Pony restaurant. It was during the dinner rush and we had to wait to be checked in. Once helped, the gentlemen was professional and walked us to our room. Free wine and beer were available in room. It was clean and decorated nicely. Overall I would stay again.

Such a great little hotel with with a 5vstar feel. From the moment they walk you to your room and open the door, you will find a complementary bottle of wine, chocolate, a flight of beer, bottles of water and a rubber pony duck to play with in the tub. My whole family loved this hotel.

Room did not have a closet, ironing board, air conditioner was too loud, could not sleep. For the price this was not at all what we expected. No elevator had to carry bags upstairs. Very small check in area. Would not recommend at all.

Wonderful surprise place to stay.
I booked two suites for my family of 5 adults and 6 kids ranging from 5-12. We were all able to sleep comfortably in the two rooms, the smallest children using the futon style couch, which they enjoyed.
When booking this place, I was a little unsure of what to expect, but once we arrived, we all realized this place was definitely out of the ordinary, but absolutely a cool place to stay. All of us agreed that we will definitely keep this place at the top of our list when going to Cedar Point.
They have many additional entertainment options of things to do which are all onsite. We were given some free tickets to play, which we did not take advantage of. We were just too tired, yet a nice extra and free perk.

Wow! This place far exceeded our expectations! It was a little weird to check in with the hostess and walk through the restaurant and past the bowling alley to get to our room, but the room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The restaurant/bar was great and the staff was very nice. Free bowling was great and they even let us bowl even though they were closing. Plus, free beer, wine and bottled water in the room! Don’t listen to any haters, this place was amazing!

The location near Cedar Point made this an ideal hotel. Besides this, I really appreciated the person at the Thirsty Pony who checked us in. He saw that my hands were full and grabbed my bag and walked us up to our room. I also liked the rustic-chic feel of the room's decor and the complementary goodies they put in the room, including a delicious chocolate shaped like a horse, wine, and beer. It was also awesome that we got 2 hours of free bowling and shoes.
The only thing I wished was different was that the room's floors were a bit cleaner. I saw some crumbs and other things on the ground and a dead bug on the floor. Other than this, it did get kinda loud at times. There was a time when someone knocked loudly at our door, said \"room service,\" and then ran away down the hall. That was kind of annoying, but that could happen anywhere.
