Everything about our stay was great . The pool and hot tub were clean, the lobby area ad hallways clean, staff was friendly and polite.
We liked our room, the layout of it and all but it wasn't until this morning , we were checking out and checking the bed for anything that might be left behind when my 2 granddaughters 8 and 9 who shared the bed showed me several clumps of false eyelashes that were on the sheets . I didnt check the bed when we first arrived because we changed and headed to the pool after a long drive, and i normally dont anyways.
I brought it to the attention at the front desk. The lady was curtious and said we should have called and they would have immediately come to change the sheets. At that point we were leaving but my point is i dont think the cleaning staff changed that 1bed from the last guest .Other than that everything was fine and i would return again but definitely check the beds upon arrival

Room is mediocre, burn marks in linoeleum in bathroom floor. Check in was long and tedious and (Liz) seemed unprepared and unknowledgeable on basic operations. Charged a deposit not mentioned on expedia.
Disappointing since Ive had better experiences at this location in the past.

We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. We always enjoy it because the pool is always a comfortable temperature. This last time we stayed in room 111. Its like the tolet wouldn't refill, and the shower wouldn't work properly. We still wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again.

Firat of all the staff was excellent from phone calls before we checked in.When we checked in and throughout the whole visit, absolutely amazing. I travelled from Canada 🇨🇦 with 2 young girls
I requested an early check in. And they got us in at 12p! Check in is normally 3p
We went to Cedar Point and thats only 12 minutes away. Lots of shoppimg and dining in the area. Easy to get to Price was excellent too for the room we got which had cupboards in the mini kitchen, fridge, sink and microwave
And 2 queen beds. Only complaint....you only got a small bar of soap for the shower. (Similar to the size of a ritz cracker) I'll definitely stay again. But ill bring my own body wash

Yep there are trains running all the time like other reviewers stated. I left a 5 star review because of the price. I got 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room for less than $200 bucks. Most places had only double beds. The beds were very comfortable. I never saw the pool or hot tub so can’t comment on them. It’s 16 min to cedar point so very convenient for our trip. Staff was very nice. Also a 12 o’clock check out was Awesome since we didn’t leave cedar point until 12 am. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here after a day at Cedar Point, it is very close without the hefty price tag. Very basic accomodations but clean, seemed safe and served its purpose. We opted for the rooms with microwave and fridge, room had 2 beds, 2 tables, and 4 chairs. It doesn't leave room for an air mattress or roll away (not an option at this location) BUT a standard room, none the less. I felt check in was easy and the front desk agent was very friendly and polite, even when we arrived at 1am :) Definitely will stay again and recommend to others.

Stay was good but the reason we booked here compared to a competitor was that it advertised EV charging station. What they didn’t mention was it was only for Tesla’s plug. Otherwise I would have booked the place that had free breakfast. Also was surprised that room did not have a microwave. I thought all hotels had one in the room. Other than that is was fair price and fit our needs.

Not your average motel 6 at all. Has a pool and hot tub. Tim that works there is the kindest man. Very sweet. No breakfast but I'll take. Hot tub over breakfast anyway so I was soooooo satisfied. 2 minutes from my son's new college Bgsu firelands. Wendy's and Arby's are in walking distance. More food options 3 minutes away semi truck parking across the street and pet friendly for FREE...

Decided to try this Motel 6 because a competitor's pricing was 2/3 more in cost. We had an event at the Huron Boat Basin to attend, and it was a few minutes away. Beds were comfortable, and it was clean. They did not have a free breakfast, but this is an economical hotel. Free coffee was available in our room, but we didn't partake.There is an Arby's very close and a Wendy's across the highway. It looked like many people were enjoying the indoor pool.
The only two downsides might be location, as a busy train track does run close to this hotel. I was not bothered by the train noise, but it could be a problem for some. The other problem might be parking. We towed a boat and would have had to park across the highway behind
Wendy's and wouldn't have been comfortable doing so. Otherwise, a good stay!

They told us we didnt have a reservation. Showed them emails. They lied to us about trying to call us and email us. Then because we had tk have a room to stay one night, they charged us 40$ more per room for the room ls we already had reserved. 4 times we had to have them program the key card to get in the room. Along with 8 other rooms. Then try to blame us for the card being to close to our phones.We will not be staying here anymore.

My Neice and I came here for a couple of days. We got the deluxe room and absolute loved it. This room was the way to go! Staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us pizza broachers after asking for recommendations for a good pizza place. They checked with every day to see if we needed anything or clean towels or linen. The pool and hot tub were a great added plus and clean. Only negative thing I can say is I wished they had some type of Breakfast. Overall, we loved this place and plan on coming back in a couple of weeks!!

I think corporate needs an unannounced, unexpected visit. The entire place smelled of old pool water. I had to get a plug in for the room. It needs a good training on DEEP cleaning. The noise from the train all night was very aggravating. Bad spot for a hotel. Drinking and weed smoking were going on inside the pool area and out back. I felt I had to stay inside my room w my two girls all night. Which the pool and the NORMAL reputation of motel 6 is why I chose this location :/. The staff were all great tho … I will not be staying at this location ever again. My past motel 6 experiences have all been good tho.

Having read other reviews I did not expect much. We had taken our own bedding with us and luckily. The beds were covered in hair. And I mean covered. What looked to be dog hair and human. The bathroom also had what looked like dog hair on yhe vanity and floor. The toilet has feces from whomever had stayed in the room beforehand, so it had definitely not been cleaned. We had visited cedar point and we're exausted otherwise we would have probably just left and drove home. So we just put our own bedding on and rested 7 hours before packing up the car and leaving. The owners and operators should be ashamed of this place. We will never visit again.

The hotel was totally booked up and was still very quiet for sleeping except for train blowing whistle at least 6 times from 1am to 7 am which would always wake you up. The room was clean and had little table with 2 chairs. Wish it had a mini fridge and continental breakfast
