Trash bin in the room has never gotten emptied out for our 5 days stay except for the 1 time we complained to the office. No laundry service throughout. Faucet on the sink is not tightened. The fridge makes loud noise.

Very bad experience i checked in went to my room and my room had no power and the furniture there is very old almost breaking apart. When they fixed the power issue there was no remote control for the TV and the buttons for the TV didnt even work to turn it on manually. Very bad experience over all

Price is cheap but you get what you pay for. Area is decent but small parking lot, person was working on their car in the parking lot. Person checked us in but didn’t look at billing, didn’t charge us but then knocked on our door at 11pm at night saying we needed to pay. No WiFi which is odd. No breakfast. Room was outdated and a bit dirty. There was a small microwave, mini fridge and AC.

Expedia charged $196.00 it is in San Diego California, I think it should be put out of service, wall destroyed, paint was patched, electrical outlets didn’t work, toilet seat was, unsecured, I saw a insect, + mosquitoes, broken sink, bathroom tub had a lot of paint. Terrible. Nasty. Horrible movie place.

I should always remember you get what you pay for!! The photos are very deceiving!!
I booked 2 nights online, but checked out the next morning at 7:00am. The TV didn't work, no hot water in the sink, bathroom door did not close, no water pressure in the shower, air conditioner barely blew, people outside of my door all night, and that's just the inside the list goes on. The gentleman at the desk did his best to help me but I'm sure he is overwhelmed as well. This property needs some TLC and attention. Not recommended as a stay in any capacity!!

No trash can inside the room. The bed sheets were stained, and there were body hairs on them. The bath towels were stained and did not appear to have been cleaned. I had to use my own towel and bed sheets: no wifi or television. The remote and the television were not working. Overall, my stay at this place was horrible. I checked out a day earlier and booked another stay at a different location.

Started off cool then started being very rude and rooms are constantly having problems. My daughter has found syringes and other drug related paraphernalia. And they just shrug their shoulders. They also have ignored their maid stealing my suitcase . It’s a mess there especially with how they literally show little concern about the drugs going around there . Loud and just crazy . Like they used to be minus the prostitution now

The bedding was clean but the floor was dirty. The bathroom door would not shut as it was barely hanging from the top hinge. The towel rack was loose from the wall but it held the towels. This would be a nice place with an extra hour of maintenance and actually cleaning the floor.

Review: Safety Hazards and Unacceptable Conditions at Vista Inn
I am writing this to warn others and formally document the serious safety and maintenance issues at this property. My current stay has been deeply unsettling, and the environment is simply not habitable.
Major Safety and Security Issues
The most concerning aspect of this stay is the lack of security. Immediately after checking in, I was followed through the parking lot by individuals who appeared to be under the influence. They approached me with inappropriate questions and followed me toward my room. As a result, I do not feel safe leaving my room to retrieve belongings from my vehicle. This is an unacceptable environment for any guest.
Substandard Room Conditions
The physical state of the room fails to meet even basic hospitality or safety codes:
Fire Safety: There is a burnt-out ceiling light directly next to a wired, empty spot where a smoke detector is missing.
Hygiene & Quality: The bed blanket is littered with visible burn holes. The bathroom fixtures are so badly degraded and grimey that I am uncomfortable using the shower without footwear.
Non-Functional Amenities: The television does not work at all.
Excessive Noise: Due to poor window insulation and the proximity to the highway, the noise level inside the room is constant and disruptive.
Resolution Requested
Because this establishment fails to provide a secure environment or a room that meets basic safety standards, I have requested a refund

Room had a non working tv that was lying on the dresser. The dresser had non working drawers. There wasn’t even a trash can in the room. Water pressure was poor and freeway noise was substantial. I tried on multiple occasions to talk with front desk staff but door was locked and night service bell non operational. This was not at odd hours 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. The hotel was also used to house homeless and I did not feel safe going to and from my room. I would not recommend this hotel, except for the price.

At first I didn't want to stay because the room wasn't very clean and the building is old. But the staff were so kind and friendly, and the housekeeper cleaned my room making it very sparkly, I quickly got used to the place and didn't want to leave. Denny's is within walking distance. Give it a chance, it may surprise you.

The hotel is old, they couldn’t find my reservation when I got there, I end up with a king instead of two doubles as requested, no trash can in the room, very dirty sofa, microwave with no inner plate, no fridge, broken boards near the sink. Both lamps unplugged and had to move nightstands to plug in - wall sockets loose and probably not safe. Luckily it was just a place to crash overnight while at a soccer tournament. Only stayed because we were too tired to hunt down another place to stay. Empty alcohol bottles all over the property. This one will definitely be removed from our list of places to stay in the future

NOT a SAFE place. Police was on the property. Drug activity. Someone tried to get inside my car while I was inside the car with my kids. There was squatter. Someone broke window and there was broken class everywhere. All of these things were all associated with different people. Gang activity and drug users. Did not feel safe sleeping there

DO NOT BOOK! This hotel is worse than a prison cell. It's criminal for the price they charged! There were stains on the walls, the tub had mysterious black speckles, the shower curtains has what looks like old blood stains on it. the toilet paper rolls was not hanged and sits on top on a nasty toilet with the paper itself stained with different colors dots on the side. Looks like someone was using it to clean their needles! The walls has black tapes all over and even the doors has scuffed marks with black tapes all over too. I got in at 2am and I could not stay and left immediately. Slept and brush my teeth next to my car. It was supposed to be a decent 1 night stop before we get to our actual vacation destination. It was a horror nightmare for me. You can't pay me to stay here!

Booked room. Called the motel right after to confirm I was in their system, the guy said yes and repeated my name. The next day at check in time he stated I wasn't in the system and that if I wanted to stay they would have to charge me double the price I originally selected. Guys are con artist, praying on people that don't deserve to be treated that way.
Their was a very elderly couple that had traveled from riverside and had the same problem I did. It was very sad to see them not be able to get the room they booked because they couldn't afford the last second price raise

When I arrived there was also a long line everyone had the same issue and they did not honor their prices on Expedia. About 7 people left very angry because they raised the prices on the day of check in. 3 people decided to sleep in the lobby with all their belongings

Checked in , tv and cable didn’t work and I had to plug everything in. Shower did not have any handle and was completely unable to work. smoke detector, door peephole, any and every device for safety features or etc were covered in tape and toilet tissue roll covers and no one bothered to uncover them when cleaning if even cleaned. Large fresh stain on top blanket and top sheet right under it which wasn’t changed yuck. Huge gap in door letting in draft from cold night time air. And no one at front desk to help by the time I was able to go address concerns so had to just deal with it. Mind you I have a 1 year old…. Completely unacceptable

Save yourself the time effort and money. What a truly disgusting hovel this place is. We booked two rooms and after an entire day of travel we arrived at 10pm to check in. 1st room stank of cigarettes so she got moved, her next room had not 1 but 2 broken tvs, dirty bedding, NO shower curtain or towels and to top it off NO light bulb in the bathroom. 2nd room was flooded by a broken fridge, had no microwave, no pole in the closet to hang things on, no lightbulbs in the lamps. Pubic hair all in the very dirty unchanged sheets and 2 towels. We had housekeeping come and change the bedding and give us a new fridge and more towels. The place was filthy, falling apart and quite frankly the health inspector needs to condemn the dump.

Let me count the ways of disappointment: TV was not working so we had to switch room. The new room smelled of musty: curtains, couch and bedding. Shower-curtain had mole. No towels hand towels provided. Some random many walking the halls tried to follow me into my room. I didn't feel safe. Staff did have housekeeping clean room but forgot towels and new shower-curtain. Room still smelled. Because room curtains smelled musty. Staff said to ask if needed to leave the room to call them for escort. Staff were nice.

This is place what you call a stab and jab. Burn holes in the blankets, no trash cans in the room, 13 inch TV and no hot water for the shower. Small location, if you need a quick pit stop just to stab and jab this is the only thing it’s good for.

Upon arriving the hotel, staff charged my credit card incorrectly, causing me to call and get my credit card unblocked. The remote control in the bedroom and TV did not work. There was standing water in our room that we had a cleanup. The sheets on the bed were missing. There were questionable people hanging out in the parking lot, felt unsafe. Everything in the hotel was a little bit dirty, it looked like the toilet needed cleaning, the shower had a leak, sink didn't drain completely, there were not enough towels provided, sheets had stains, but were recently cleaned, the bed didn't have a fitted sheet only the top sheet on top of the comforter and there was no trash can provided in the room which was wildly inconvenient as they provide soap and shampoo packets that need to be thrown out after opened. The mini fridge was very powerful, my drinks stayed nice and cold, it did freeze my fruit, but I just needed to put them on a lower shelf. Wifi was strong and consistent, no random outages. Lots of parking available. Close to Vista town square, full of nice hospitable people and great restaurants. This place was definitely affordable, but cost more than what was provided.

When I arrived to check in, no one was at the front desk and I had to wait for them to get off lunch, at midnight. They gave us a room that reeked of cigarettes. Asked for a new one, they moved us. The next morning my friend showered and they bath tub leaked all over the floor and then the office guy came up telling us to pack our stuff they’re moving us rooms, because the water is leaking into their office. I said okay well where are we moving to? They said they’ll let us know in two hours. I had to go shower at the EOS gym. We didn’t get our new room in two hours. We left for the morning to the farmers market came back 3ish hours later and had to ask them about the new room. They give me a new one, I go and check it for the smell. Again reeks of cigarettes. My friend is pregnant and her baby is under 1 years old. We don’t want to smell disgusting. I went and told them again it smells like cigarettes. The guy went with me to get a new room and he opened one, smelled waaay worse and much stronger cigarette smells. Horrible. I said no not this one. They open the other one, 4 rooms later we finally have our room on day 2 of being here. Shower curtains are fabric so they get the floors wet. It should be plastic. Hate it. Extremely humid in all the rooms. TVs don’t work or missing remotes. Two shower towels. One wash rag. One drying towel. Not nearly enough. They leave a half empty toilet paper on the roll and then have a new one for you. Don’t stay here no matter how cheap.

Worst place ever

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Picture a hotel where crack heads hangout. It look nice on the website. We tried to check in at 3 but the room wasn’t ready. In fact it wasn’t ready until 8pm. What ever they used to clean the room burned our eyes. I was going to say screw it and go to another hotel but nothing was available. I can’t believe you guys would have something like this on your website.

The room smell like cigarettes the toilet was loose. You couldn’t even sit on it. There was no remote control it. The mirrors weren’t even clean right the curtains were hanging. Didn’t stay more than an hour and I left. I went to a better location and comfortable I do not recommend this location unless you are a drug user drug seller or hooker because that’s what the hotels about.
