We had a fantastic stay at Estrella de Belem. It's in a great area in Cholula surrounded by restaurants and very close to the pyramid. The rooms are lovely, exceptionally clean and the hotel has a little rooftop area to relax and enjoy the view of the church on top of the pyramid. Staff were wonderful. Can absolutely recommend.

Beautiful property with inner yards, one adapted to the dining area, and the other one connecting the hotel rooms. Lovely and peaceful. There’s a small pool on the roof and the views are spectacular from there. Couple of steps from the pyramid and few blocks to the main plaza in San Pedro Cholula, incredible location. Enclosed parking was a big plus for us. Great service, friendly staff.

I liked the location and atmosphere of the hotel. It was an old style mansion with very walkable access to all the main attractions. Including the Zocalo and the great Pyramid. Next to it was q very nice jazz club.

Recommend it for travelers wanting to experience the authentic magic of this little town and have access to all the sites.

Our 9 day stay at Hotel Estrella De Belem was wonderful. The restored building was an amazing mix of old (walls) and new (bathroom). The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The reservation through Expedia was problem free and allowed us to see room availability and the reservation was without issue. The hotel site has pictures that are as pretty as the actual hotel.

I was there for a wedding, so I didn't spend a ton of time at Estrella. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and coffee was better than expected (I have high standards, so no shade to Estrella). It does seem like a place where you can chill, that is just not what I was there for. Also, they have a iron/steamer if you ask!

A spacious room next to a courtyard with a helpful staff. The view both at night and during the daytime from the rooftop deck is fantastic. Sadly a cloudy day obscured the view of the volcanoes. Property is within walking distance of all of Cholula's main attractions. They do serve a very good breakfast in their attractive courtyard near the front desk, but it is a little difficult to understand from their hotel book in the room and website exactly how it works. Talk to the staff to clarify that. Overall a very pleasant stay.

This hotel is top quality in all aspects. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. Rooms are nicely decorated. Quiet area and close to the pyramid and within 5 minutes walk to the main plaza. However, the main reason you should stay at this hotel is the breakfast included. They have up to 9 different main items o choose from the night before and the taste and presentation of it are top notch . It comes with bread, yogurt, juice and hot drinks. I had meals I had never experience before and believe me they were off the charts.

We recently stayed at the boutique hotel Estrella de Belem in Cholula, Puebla, and my family and I were wowed by the uniqueness of the place as well as the excellent all-around service provided by the staff. From the moment that we walked in, the feeling was a good one.
Saying that this hotel is beautiful is an understatement. It has an old design with a modern feel. The decor is fantastic, and most importantly, the entire place is clean and quiet. The pool area is not very large, but it is beautiful, and it has a great view of Our Lady of Remedies Church located on a fantastic nearby hill.
The hotel is very close to most of the\"things to see in Cholula.\" You can walk to the archeological center, museums, churches, El Zocalo, shops, cafes, restaurants (including a vegan restaurant), the train, and so much more!
The staff is helpful, friendly, cordial, professional, and hospitable (especially Gabriela). The breakfast at this hotel is delicious; the bread is baked in-house. Everything about the experience will feel like high quality. My sister has worked for a well-known worldwide hotel organization, and she was impressed by Estrella de Belem. She wants to go back and bring her husband. After checking out, we received a thank you email from the hotel.
If you visit Cholula, Puebla, this is the place where you will want to stay. We certainly will.

Wonderful home made breakfast by request. Staff was super helpful at check in, they helped us park our car (indoor) and answered all of our questions. Check in was super fast and efficient, as opposed to many other hotels in Mexico. Beautifully restored property, exquisitely landscaped spaces, amazing rooms/great atmosphere!

We just returned from 6 days at the Estrella de Belem. It is a beautiful former home. Our room was gorgeous, the bathroom was grand and spotless. Our stay came with a daily breakfast which was next level. Fresh juice, coffee, danish, fruit kebabs with chocolate sauce, yogurt with granola, then a main course. Breakfast was our main meal of the day. It was elegantly served and delicious.The service and attention to detail was fabulous. There is a small rooftop pool which my daughter enjoyed in the late afternoons. Within minutes of her going to the pool, someone would arrive with towels.The hotel is well located. We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. When we first arrived, there was loud music coming from a nearby club. We were concerned that we weren’t going to be able to sleep. The hotel’s manager took our complaint seriously and lodged a complaint with the club The noise was no longer a problem. 6/5

We enjoyed Hotel Estella de Belem

The staff was very courteous and friendly, always a smile and a greeting. Our room named Giorgione, was spacious with a very tall beamed ceiling, two wonderful double beds each with many pillows, heated tile floor for coolest night, a/c for day if need. The attached bath/shower with great water pressure and spacious tub, thick monogramed towels and bath robes, extra lotions, soaps etc., the sink is huge and beautiful with brushed stainless fixtures, two lights and exhaust fan. The maid did an excellent job daily.
There is a courtyard with benches, grass and topiary trees in front of the room. The short hall leads to the finest breakfast you can imagine. One can order the night before and it is served by a tuxedoed waiter and helpers. The chef is supreme. Fine coffees, rolls, eggs, shrimp, avocado all sliced with precision and assembled into a work of art. This is a 5 star hotel with gourmet kitchen dining in a pleasant courtyard. Easy walk to pyramid, 3 blocks, other restaurants, and shopping.

Nice, but: why doors are closed at 8 pm?

There is no lighted sign at the entrance to this small hotel, so it is very difficult to find it if you have to check in at night. This is a large house at the corner of two streets in downtown, but the main door is not so evident. Even a very small lighted sign would make a big difference, please!
Room #1 is very spacious, comfortable bedding, nice bathroom. Breakfast is delicious.

Beautiful place in the best location in Cholula

If you're staying in Cholula this is the place to be. You are a five-minute walk to the pyramid, a 10-minute walk to the truly lovely museum. You are steps away from numerous restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and comfortable, the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. There is a rooftop terrace with a pool and spa and amazing view of the city. The breakfast is delicious and served with amazing elegance - the servers are in jackets and ties! This is our go-to place in Cholula.

This boutique hotel is charming with a beautiful courtyard, a roofside mini-pool and dining area. The included breakfast menu was vast and delicious. If ordered the night before, food came quickly; otherwise you have to wait. Everything was clean and attractive. The staff is very accommodating and do their best in English. It is right by the pyramid, tons of restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable from day one. The bathroom was large and had a heated floor. This was my first trip to Mexico because I was always apprehensive about getting sick, danger, etc. We'll be back.

Classy oasis of comfort

We stayed at Estrella de Belem for three nights last week. It is a gem of a hotel located just a few blocks from the downtown district of Chulula. We stayed in the Georgian room, which was large, clean and comfortable. It, like all the other 5 rooms, opens up onto a grassy little courtyard and there is a rooftop patio with a small pool. The breakfast is amazing, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Roberto is attentive and fluent in English, and makes sure all details are attended to. We heartily recommend this hotel, and would certainly return ourselves.

Paradise in the middle of the city

This was such a treat! This is a spa-like hotel in the middle of Cholula and is one of the most beautiful B & B's we've stayed at. The owner was gracious and chatted with us when we first arrived. We filled out a Breakfast request menu which was a little confusing at the start, but I finally figured out. The room was so airy, spacious and beautiful! The grounds are green and so lovely; they did a fabulous job restoring this B & B from whatever it was before. There is a gorgeous view from the rooftop and a pool was up there too!

My only regret is we only stayed one night; would have loved a few more and to take advantage of their spa services.

All in all an highly recommended accommodation at a great price!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in a nice neighborhood a couple of blocks from the pyramid and the \"Socalo\" (the word that seems to be used for the main square/plaza). The hotel staff is superb, they are all extremely nice and very helpful. The place itself is an interesting structure that used to be a hacienda, with rustic furniture and a nice fountain/garden area. The breakfasts are very well-prepared and delicious. I cannot fault anything at all with the hotel or its staff - they are all superb. There's an upscale jazz club down the street, and a very upscale restaurant about a block the other way down the street. The main market and access to the pyramid are all within a few blocks from the hotel. The neighborhood itself is also friendly and safe, we didn't feel like there were any issues even walking around at night.

I love going to a bed and breakfast and this one is awesome, a piece of heaven! Great location next to the Pyramids and some shopping and restaurants. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast is well prepared and presented with authentic Mexican style. The housekeeping is impeccable. So clean and fresh. The decor and gardens are beautiful. There is a cute pool and great views on the rooftop patio. We were fortunate enough to have a clear morning to see the volcano from there. Best time is probably around sunrise. Highly recommend!!

Plan on at least two nights...

We stayed only one night...not enough. A wonderful small boutique hotel. Looks pleasant from the outside but it somehow hides what is a very relaxed but luxurious hotel inside. Wonderful staff, great breakfast with a lengthy menu of local cuisine...one selects the night before. We showed up unannounced hours before the 3 pm checkin time and were welcomed without hesitation.

this is what is called now a boutique hotel, to call this hotel \"4-star historic bed & breakfast\" is like calling a
luxury brand new car an \"appliance\"...or a wagon... or... you got the idea, this is at least a 5 star-gran turismo, hotel, the staff; Angeles: Cleaning, Sergio, Roberto and Carlos: This guys will help you from check-in to room service and all in between with the BEST attitude you can find EVER!!!!!! and Chef: Alfonso ( his cuisine is outstanding), a being in resorts and hotels 5 times more expensive and the closest i can remember is the 4 seasons in Santa Fe, new mexico, and even there, service is probably short against this one.

From the entrance, welcome and attention to detail, this is a great hotel. All personnel with the best attitude to ensure that your expectations are met. We only had breakfast at the terrace by the pool (make sure that you reserve, because they only serve brakfast there if you reserve one day in advance). The room was very nice, with nice bedding and excellent towels.Some reviews I read complained about noise from nearby bars, but my room had good insulation so we slept non-stop. Definitively will stay here when I am back to Cholula

La asistencia estuvo excelente. Lo que no puedo comprender es como se llaman un B&B y no incluyen el desayuno. Se hace absurdo que cobren por algo que se supone está incluido. También cobran por las cápsulas de café en la habitación. La mayoría de los hoteles que cobran lo que esté hotel cobra tlya incluye estás cosas.
Y, si no van a incluir el desayuno,njo se consideren un Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast literal es desayuno.

La propiedad nos gustó mucho, el personal muy amable el hotel limpio, lo único malo es que mi hermana se resbaló en las escaleras del hotel y no tenían doctor para que la revisaran y no había algún encargado con quien hablar, la recepcionista fue amable aunque solo nos proporcionaron hielo ya que mi hermana se lastimó el abrazo con hematomas muy fuertes y los pies muy adoloridos, necesitan tener más luz en los pasillos y señalar las escaleras para ver qué tan anchos son los escalones, desafortunadamente no sentimos que nos apoyarán lo suficiente en esta situación y la experiencia no fue lo que esperábamos por este accidente.
