The hotel is very convenietly located in the old town walking to most of the famous sites and eating places. The room is a bit small but with two sinks for convenience and that is nice. Hotel staffs are awesome with greatings and helping hands at check in and out. The staffs were very considerate and gave me hijab for mosque visits. A little departure gift gave the great finish for the hotel hospitality. The breakfast food was abundent with great varieties. Nice stay and thank you for the wonder stay.

We had a wonderful experience at Zeyn Hotel Istanbul. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They greeted us with refreshing welcome drinks and even gave a thoughtful PowerPoint presentation about the city, highlighting tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping spots — a very unique touch that made us feel immediately at home.

The team checked in with us every day to ensure our stay was comfortable, and the room service was consistently excellent. Our room was cleaned daily, always tidy and well-maintained. Excellent breakfast and long opening hours. The location of the hotel is perfect — just a short walk to many of Istanbul’s main attractions, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable.

Overall, the combination of warm hospitality, daily care, and unbeatable location made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Zeyn Hotel Istanbul to anyone visiting the city!

The hotel is in an excellent location - literally round the corner from the blue mosque. The hotel room is lovely with a nice view of the sea and we were fortunate to see a beautiful sunrise every morning. The staff were amazing super helpful and hospitable, they helped us with eveything including gettjng around the city and to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel - we had a lovely experiemce.

Our stay at Zeyn Otel was lovely! From the moment we checked in we were treated with the utmost respect. Aslan, who was working at the time, went through a whole map of the area and gave tips and tricks to get around. The staff is readily accessible and very responsive on WhatsApp. The hotel is in a good location that is walkable to most major sites. We felt completely safe walking at night back to the hotel and to our tours. Absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Special thanks to Selcuk, Huseyin, Elias, Aslan for being extra nice and helpful, and making us feel at home. The breakfast buffet included so many options, both Turkish and international. Showers were nice and hot, the a/c works perfectly. Perfect location in walking distance from Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Plus, it just ip the street form a long avenue filled with restaurants, coffee shops, bars, candy shops, and all sorts of stores for shopping. Very charming and quaint. We loved it.

Elias took care of everything. He arranged our airport transfer, checked us in, gave us directions for our activities, a head scarf for the mosques, brought our luggage to the room and booked us a taxi home.
The hotel is in a quiet / hilly neighborhood off the main drag so it is peaceful and everything is easy to get to.
Delicious dinner at My Terrace (top level seating with a view) up the street, pls ty if shops and all the big sites about 10-12 minutes by foot.
The hotel is spotless, the locally inspired Turkish breakfast is different and very sufficient with coffee and water as well.
Beds are super comfortable. Pillows, not so much. :(
Shower and water pressure great! Everything you need including a kettle and hairdryer and phone and safe and fridge is in your room.
If you are also a solo traveler, this is a great place for you! Quite a bargain with. Breakfast included and the AC works great!

We had a wonderful stay at Zeyn Otel. The staff were absolutely amazing—so caring, friendly, and always willing to help. They really made me feel at home. They even showed us on the map which places were worthwhile to visit and how to use the metro card.

The room was clean, compact, and comfortable—perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was provided but we weren't early eaters but had a array of food to choose from. The location is also ideal, just a few minutes’ walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar, while still being in a quiet spot.

Overall, a lovely hotel with great hospitality. We'll definitely stay here again!

My friend and I came to Istanbul for a few days. It was just what we needed for our first time here.

The area around the hotel is very cozy and tranquil. I recommend just roaming around the streets and seeing what you find. It’s also very close to the square and other famous attractions.

The staff is phenomenal and gave us an intro to the city, dos and dont’s, and many places to shop, eat, etc. They also gave us water, coffee, and had a free breakfast each morning.

The room itself was very cozy, comfty beds, and had everything you need.

Would definitely stay here again!

From the time we arrived until the time we left, the staff at this hotel was fantastic! When we checked in, Tural and Selcuk made us feel very welcome and throughout our stay, they were always available to help with advice where to go, how to get there and anything else we needed.

The breakfast spread was great! And nice to have local items to taste!

The location was also really convenient to many of the major attractions to see in Istanbul, that we walked almost everywhere!

The local restaurants were a treat and the staff at these establishments were also very friendly and welcoming.

This is a hotel that we have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Zeyn Otel. We stayed for 9 nights, and the staff were always available to help with any questions or concerns we had. Fareed was particularly nice and helpful when we checked in(providing help taking our luggage etc) and he even gave us welcome gifts. There were other managers (can’t remember their names) that were just as amazing. Provided us local suggestions, chocolates etc. Thank you. Our room was comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit tight, but I guess that's typical of many hotels in Istanbul. The daily cleaning service, which included fresh towels and water, was just amazing. The breakfast was okay, with not many options, but it was still good. Again, the staff at breakfast were also very nice and helpful. They even provided a headscarf for my wife to wear when visiting the mosque. The airport transport arrangements were seamless. They accommodated our needs when we returned from Cappadocia, as our luggage was at our family's house. They even helped us drop off our relatives at their house, pick up our luggage, and then drop us off at the hotel. The drop-off service was also punctual, with the cab arriving at the hotel at 3:45 am, even though we had requested 4 am.

Thank you for such a comfortable and memorable stay.

The area around the property is a maze of very small streets. The hotel isn’t really close to the popular attractions. That said, it doesn’t take very long by taxi. I managed without Wi-Fi and a lot of input by the staff here.
Depending on whether you look at a 10 as the swankiest hotel in the world or from the standpoint of someone used to a hostel, will determine your personal rating. For myself, who has travelled the world extensively, I give it a 7.5 because of the location, lack of proximity to what most tourists want to see and room size.
The staff here are excellent, however and I give them a 10 !

Our stay here was excellent! From the moment we walked through the front door we were greeted with a smile & friendly attitude from Mahmoud. As the days progressed we met Azat, Eddi, and Selcuk, who were also friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was comfortable and we found comfort when we heard the call of prayer every morning and evening.

The hotel is located up a hill and the roads are made of cobblestones so the area feels authentic. One of the oldest mosques is a few steps away. There are many restaurants and shops in the area.

Great Location. Just 10-15 minutes walking distance to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Staff is really friendly, hotel is clean.
Only downside (or rather quirk)
1. The hotel is situated on the incline of one of the seven hills of Istanbul. So you have to walk up/down steep incline any time you would need to come in/leave the hotel.
2. Little Hagia Sophia is right next to the hotel, and there are other mosques nearby. So, you might might hear adhan(call for prayers) 5 times a day, starting with the morning prayer at 5am.
Otherwise, I had a pleasant time here.

Our 5-night stay at Zeyn Otel in Fatih was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! From the moment we arrived – hours before check-in – the hospitality was outstanding. Selçuk, the affable and incredibly helpful manager, welcomed us with such warmth and offered us a complimentary breakfast to start our trip right. This gesture alone set the tone for the exceptional service we experienced throughout our stay.

The Turkish breakfast spread each morning was impressive and delicious, offering a wide range of options from fresh olives, cheeses, and tomatoes to fluffy bread, honey, and a selection of jams. There were also eggs, a variety of pastries, and, of course, that famous Turkish tea. It was the perfect way to fuel up before a day of sightseeing and added such a local touch to our experience.

The entire team, including Tarik, Mahmoud, Azad, and Eddie, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They provided excellent tips on local excursions and recommended some fantastic restaurants, which made exploring the city even better. The location was perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to all the major attractions.

Our twin room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Zeyn Otel has a cosy, welcoming vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. I stayed with my mother at the hotel and to our delight the hotel is in the vicinity of major attractions. The hotel staff were very nice and explained many times and also gave us complementary water, tea and coffee, and a scarf to cover our heads when we were going to mosque.

Location not far from major attractions, but not good for older people since getting anywhere involves a lot of climbing on cobblestone streets. Location on small street difficult to locate without google maps.

Zeyn is 10 minutes walk from all the T1 line, bazaar, the Blue mosque/Hagia/Cistern/Topkapi area, many restaurants with sea and sunset view within 5 minutes. Recently renovated or perfectly maintained, maybe the TV antenna could get some attention for those who need some music background. Best are the manager and staff. No wish is rejected, we enjoyed the Hamam they recommended and booked for us, and got a free late checkout when requested. Friendly to all guests, most of the times time we were leaving or returning even the manager was present and chatting with us and other guests. Kind of visiting relatives feeling.

This place was great. The staff was welcoming and also gave me a beautiful gift scarf in case I visited the inside of some of the mosques around the area. The room was clean and comfortable. I have huge issues with beds in most places I stay and this one was actually comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

The room and property are simple and clean. The staff is outstanding. Greeted pleasantly every time we entered and left. They are incredibly helpful and pleasant. They gifted my wife with a shawl to enter the mosques which she forgot at home. Gave us great advice where to shop and eat. Heard us getting off the elevator when we were leaving and immediately helped carry our bags to the taxi outside. Can’t say enough about the staff at this place.

Wonderful staffs but no more than that

The staffs were super kind. They were the most kind staffs that I have ever met at hotels in my life.

But our room was too small. We didn’t have space for two cabin carriers. Bathroom was also so tiny.
Other than the size, overall quality was ok. I would say our room was suit for one person not two.

Its location was not that good. It is quite close to a tram station but it is on a steep hill, so it was not convenient.

The room was great, it was an awesome set up for us and had a view of the sea. The staff was excellent and helpful. They gave recommendations of what to see and were very kind. The owner was present on Friday and gave my daughter a small gift, which was really nice. I liked that the location allow us to walk everywhere. One unique thing was that I could see the Blue Mosque from our room and here the call to prayer in the morning and evening. Coming from the US, this was a special part of experiencing the culture of Turkey.

I paid about $150 per night for an economy room, which I think may be on the lower range in comparison to other places in Istanbul City Centre. Staff were absolutely pleasant, friendly and helpful. They helped me recover an item I had left in the taxi they scheduled from the airport. The room was too small for two people. There was barely space to pass from one side of the room to the other (you had to turn your body sideways to make it), where the bathroom was. Suitcase had to be rolled above the bed to move it to the other side of the room. Apart from listing the 9 m2 of the room, I'd suggest also showing a picture of the space between the bed and the wall. I believe this is more a room for one person/solo travellers, does not fit 2 comfortably. The room was old and without much natural light. However, it was very clean. We also got complementary water and coffee in the room everyday. Some of the streets leading to the hotel felt unsafe, although I don't think they actually were. However, women traveling alone could feel uneasy, mostly during late hours of the night. The location of the hotel is otherwise absolutely convenient. Key landmarks such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace are within 10 - 12 min walk. Breakfast was included and felt very complete.

The manager and front office staff were incredibly kind, hospitable and attentive. Rooms were a little bit small, but all the amenities worked well. Right next to a mosque. I found the call to early morning prayers a delight but some folks may find it disturbing so early in the morning. Great location for Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, shopping and Museums
