The people in charge of customer service are extremely slow and inefficient at check-in and check-out. It is surprising how they do not offer to help when someone is free, besides they do not explain anything, they do not understand Spanish or English (I asked specifically this and the woman said no) considering that there are dozens of foreigners in that place. When we got to our room, we realized that it had not been cleaned or maybe other people were still there and we had to go out again to ask the reservation desk for another one. The facilities seemed average to me for the premium price they charge and the dinner options are limited. I had to go to eat at the MyMabu hotel next door to find more variety. The next day they told us that we could continue using the pool after check-out, but when we arrived at the pool we were surprised that we needed bracelets to do so, nobody explained it to us, we walked back 200 meters to ask for it again. Moreover, At evening the pools had a smell, I don't know if it was because of the large number of people. I don’t think I would visit this hotel again

Location was OK. Place is overrun with misbehaving children, and several guests (not staff) were quite rude. Our initial rooms were quite bad and it took until about 10:30 pm to finally get into some decent rooms for us and our 2 adult children. We would not stay there again, given a choice.

horrible experience , not even a 3 stars level . dirty room , the bathroom was dirty , i found hair all over the floor . the bathroom instalations was so old . the hotel needs a remodelation asap.
i told the front desk , and they all said they were new to the hotel , and did nothing .
disapointing !!!!!

Great place to spend with family. The water is warm to get in at any time! Great food and very friendly staff.
The rooms have a lot to do thought to fit in a 5 star hotel. The room smells musty, shower button falls off, the mattress needs to be changed. You can feel it has been there for ages.

Very nice facility easy to walk around, lot possibilities for kids and adults, close to shopping mall, and tourism atractions, close to Paraguay and Argentina frontier! But is very expensive eat there ! I expend 500 USD 5 days !

It was our 2nd time there. We love the pools. Excellent service. Good b-fasts. Upon arrival, there were a couple hundred people registering. All wore masks. But no social distancing by anyone, anywhere. It's Brazil. Nice shuttle to the airport. Helpful staff. We would stay there again

Weekend at Mabu

It was way too noisy as you can hear guests whispering at the hallway! Sound proof is really bad! Air conditioning works well, buy since by the time we visited was still winter, heater wasn't working! Need to upgrade the air system with working heater. Breakfast was fine but if you plan to stay bit longer than 3 days... Suggest get you breakfast somewhere else after 3rd day!

Clean, safe, convenient in Foz do Iguacu.

The hotel is located at a great spot, about 15 minutes from the IGU airport, and 20 minutes from the Iguacu Falls on the Brazil side. Also right on the intersection for the road that goes to Argentina for the falls on that side.
The Palladium across the street has a lot of shopping and dining options.
The resort itself has 3 heated pools that are open until 9:00 pm. It is also attached to the Blue Wave water park, which is currently only partially completed. The wave pool is open though.
Dining in the resort... I only selected the breakfast option. It had a great buffet and made to order omelet station. Looks like similar applies for lunch and dinner.
I would also suggest the Itaipu Dam Special Tour. The special tour brings you inside the dam and explains how everything works.

Pros:
- Great pools! Warm water at all times, kids loved it.
- Nice shopping mall on the other side of the road, which is very convenient.

Cons:
- Paid parking by day.
- Paid towels for the swimming pool.
- \"King size beds\" area actually 2 single beds one next to the other!! How cheap do you have to be to pull this kind of stuff???
- Food is awful! I really regret paying for the full board option. Food is just bland and always the same. Not even their typical Brazilian food is good.
- \"Premium Tropical\" rooms are nothing special, definitely not worth the extra price.
- Less places specifically designed for kids when compared to Bourbon Cataratas Hotel.

All in all the kids loved it, so I would consider it again, but not at this price (almost U$D 300 with full board option) as it is definitely not worth it.
My personal opinion is that it has turned into a 2.5 - 3 stars resort (Orlando style I guess) and they are apparently focusing on their expansion, leaving everything else relegated.
Having stayed in the Bourbon hotel 15 days ago (which is actually next to this hotel), I could really notice the difference between the Bourbon Cataratas, being a really well managed hotel, with good food and great service versus the Mabu which has amazing pools but everything else is just ok (except for the food with is actually terrible).

The Mabu Thermas offers a great place to stay for couples or families. The swimming pools are fed from a hot spring making them very enticing. The newer additions of a beach pool with children's splash area agreement great. The swim up bar has attraction for the mature guest. The hotel is close to z shopping mall and also Argentina.

Pool area much smaller than shown in pictures of website. Larger area only for associated customers of MyMabu...
On the first two days, the pool was restricted due to a private event (!!!) so we couldn't enjoy it. Músic was extremely loud during our stay with children. Not relaxing at all.
Wouldn't come back. If you decide to stay there, check if they'll have private events during your stay, because it seems to be usual to close certain areas of the hotel for that sort of thing. Guests are not priority.

Beautiful place

Great stay last week in Mabu Thermos Grand Resort. Beautiful pools and beachlike areas. They can get a bit green more easily because of the warmth of the water, but they are cleaned regularly. Rooms were great. Buffet breakfast and dinner were okay.

Nice hotel with great thermal pools

It was a nice hotel, the room was ok, there was some kind of smell every time we came in the room ( I think it was the humidity of the place).
We went to see the iguazu and it was conveniently close. My daughters loved the warm pools, it was so nice to come from our day at the waterfalls and jump in those pools!!!
The only thing we think we didn't like was the food!!! The Buffett did not have a variety of choices too many of the same things, and the flavours were just ok. We ate at their nicer restaurant the last night (you had to make a reservation and it was a bit more expensive ) and That was good!!!
We would go back again and maybe just eat at their nicer restaurant . :0)

Overprized and not worth it

I stayed there with my girlfriend and her family. Here's what I thought:

Pros: Breakfast was generally good minus tiny cups and dishes. The lunch was good too (traditional Brazilian food). Rooms were big but very simple. The bed was really good. Felt safe there. They had activities for kids, even in the evenings, so I would say this was a good choice for couples with ADHD kids.

Cons:
Check-in took too long.
WiFi was REALLY slow and there was no access point near the pool area where people spent most of the day. 3) The waffles tasted like sand cake.
The stay was close to $200 a night and was supposed to be all included but it definitely wasn´t. The only place you could get \"Free\" drinks/food was at the restaurant and only when it was open. If you wanted to get beers and take it outside to the pool area the waitress needed to get an authorization from a manager!?!
There was supposed to be some places where you could get some snacks for free (in the all included packet) but I never found those places.
There was a nice piano bar there close to the lobby but of course you had to pay there. No cranberry juice = no cosmopolitan.
Power outage one night that got some kids stuck inside one of the elevator.
Dinner was bad!
NO security box at my room. Had to go to the lobby THREE times to ask the for one before they finally carried it to my room. When I saw this 100lbs lady carrying it like no problem I decided not to use it at all.

Decent family hotel, not for couples

This hotel is set up for families and all of the pools and surrounding areas are filled with children and with loud entertainment for them - not very good for a couple wanting a peaceful break! The location is between the airport and town centre but too far to walk anywhere useful. There is a bus stop outside which is handy for getting into town, to the airport and to the waterfalls (bus 120 covers all 3 places). We found the room quite decent, fairly standard for a 4-star but not particularly modern. However, there was a lot of noise from neighbouring guests and this woke us up at night - we were unlucky but the sound-proofing could have been much better. Breakfast was excellent - varied and good quality. The staff were inconsistent - one was very helpful but others clearly lacked knowledge when we enquired about extending our stay; their central reservations office is closed at weekends (after 12.00 on Saturday) and they seemed incapable of dealing with us, so we moved hotel.

Very disappointing

When I arrived to the hotel, hotel staff very rudely said he didnt find my reservation, which actually, they received the comfirmation of the reservation by mail (ive got a copy of the mial).
Hotel staff suggested I should go to their bussines Center ( 4 small PCS), to locate my reservation.(Itin# 735708779107.
Once I had it, I printed and gave him, but still he could not accept this reservation.
I travel a lot whith you guys, and It was the first time I had this unconvenience. I dont understand why this gentleman, treated me so badly. Sometimes when people have this kind of behavior, I ask myself whats his purpose in life.
Nevertheless, I had a nervous breakdown, because I drove for so long, and being treated so badly, I really considered very unfair.
After an hour or so, that I complained with anger, a lady, who called her self the front desk Manager, arranged for me a room, but I told them I was going to write in your website, my experience with details to prevent other passengers who might book a place at that hotel, that can meet horrible. people. Thanks.

This is a 3.5 star type of hotel, the room was large and comfortable but we kept having problems with the A/C getting turned off, not knowing there was a master switch in the panel (a little label would have alleviated the issue). Breakfast was good with wide selection of food, fruits and omelet bar. The pool was nice, but people were swimming in the adult pool with small infants in diapers and they were served food while wading in the pool. The outside stairs and pathways were very dirty. The garden area was very nice and well kept and great for short walks. There is a nice walkway that runs a few miles in front of the hotel and we felt safe walking there.

It is a very cozy family oriented resort with good facilities. The hotel staff is very friendly and most of them speak English. We enjoyed the health spa and the pool. The water to the pool comes from 1000 mt deep aquifer that brings all the refreshments of the mother nature. There are a lot of activities for kids and families such as soccer, volleyball, fishing, horse riding and very well equipped sports and play rooms. My kids loved the facilities. The hotel is conveniently located in Foz do Iguacu, and access to Iguacu falls, Itaupu, Argentinian side of the falls and Paraguay is quite easy and quick. The hotel serves five meals a day including the drinks (for all inclusive package). The food quality is very good, we enjoyed the fresh tropical juices and the fruits very much. It is a place where you feel like \"you get what you pay for it\". In my next visit to Foz do Iguacu again, I will choose this hotel for my stay.

O que deixou a desejar foi o check-in (excessivamente demorado) e a área de jogos/lazer (pequena quantidade de meses de sinuca, tênis de mesa, por exemplo, para o número de hóspedes). Outro ponto negativo é o número de atividades dentro do hotel que são cobradas a parte (como algumas estrutura das sala de jogos, tirolesa e etc), que já poderiam estar inclusa as no alto valor da diária.

Equipe de serviço do restaurante para almoço e jantar foi muito ruim em alguns dias esqueceram de trazer bebida, um dia cobravam só bebida alcoólica outro dia cobravam bebidas não alcoólicas. Erro? Confusão? Teve jantar que não tinha reposição da comida logo no início. Horários para café da manhã eram tarde só a partir da 7:30 muito ruim pra quem pegou voo 8:00 p ex. Só sei que o Maître Executivo foi violento e agressivo quando coloquei fui exposto diante de vários hóspedes, nunca passei por isso i. Cinco estrelas só no totem.

Fomos bem recebidos, hotel com ótimas acomodações, piscinas termais, área de jogos, recreadores, excelente estrutura. Acesso livre ao Blue Park a partir de uma hora antes da abertura ao público - só que lá não tem água termal, ótimo para refrescar o calor! A 1 minuto do shopping, vantajoso para as refeições, embora haja um restaurante a quilo no hotel também.

Já nos hospedamos algumas vezes e gostamos muito do lugar. Nessa vez achamos que o hotel pode ter melhorias, as piscinas na parte do hotel já foram melhores e agora estão focando parede mais na parte do My Mabu e Blue Park. Fomos em Julho e aquecimento das piscinas poderia ser melhor.

Esta foi nossa segunda hospedagem no hotel, mas infelizmente a experiência ficou aquém das expectativas. Logo na chegada, enfrentamos problemas no quarto designado: vazamento no banheiro acompanhado de mau cheiro, o que nos obrigou a solicitar mudança de acomodação.
A qualidade da limpeza foi outro ponto crítico. Embora aparentemente limpo à primeira vista, uma análise mais detalhada revelou acúmulo de sujeira em diversos pontos do quarto, indicando que apenas uma limpeza superficial estava sendo realizada.
O atendimento via telefone interno mostrou-se extremamente deficiente. Raramente conseguíamos contato através do ramal, sendo necessário nos deslocarmos pessoalmente à recepção para qualquer solicitação, o que gerou considerável inconveniente.
Adicionalmente, o Blue Park estava em manutenção durante nossa estadia, informação que não nos foi comunicada previamente na reserva ou check-in, causando frustração especialmente considerando que este é um dos diferenciais do hotel.
Considerando o valor investido, esperávamos um padrão de serviço significativamente superior. Diante desta experiência, certamente buscaremos alternativas de hospedagem em futuras visitas a Foz do Iguaçu.

As piscinas sao boas, mas termais quentes somente no resort. No entanto, atendimento do bar pessimo. Fomos pedir um Aperol que demorou horrores fomos reclamar e disseram que já haviam entregue! Isso que não tinha muito movimento! Fui levar meu bebe ao Blue park uma piscina maravilhosa propria para bebes, mas fria! O calor das aguas termais não chega nas piscinas infantis pois tem muito motor… frustrante. Bebidas com preços abusivos das bebidas R$13,90 um coca lata, R$6,90 copo de agua… Instalação do quarto muito antiga, no bloco principal. O corredor cheira a mofo. Era Feriado o lobby cheio e 3 atendendo pra check in, péssimo. Comida é razoável.

Razoável, estranho que um hotel 5 estrelas não ofereça nem uma água saborizada na chegada, ainda mais com uma cidade quente como Foz do Iguaçu. No banheiro não oferecem nem uma touca para banho, e nosso banheiro tinha vasamento. Ficam abordando os hóspedes o tempo todo para vender o apartamento no resort. Não achei que compensou o custo benefício.

Hotel com infra estrutura maravilhosa, gostaria de poder voltar todos os anos. Ponto alto fica para as inúmeras piscinas e por elas serem todas aquecidas! Muito legal poder também acessar o parque aquático sem custos extra. O hotel fica em frente a um shopping, excelente para poder fugir do custo alto de comer no hotel.

Check-in super agilizado, chegamos 2h antes e pudemos curtir as dependências do hotel (que são incríveis), guardaram nossas malas e depois levaram pro nosso quarto. Adorei a agilidade!

Ótimo hotel para ir no parque aquático

O Mabu é um execelente hotel para ir com família e crianças. Tem tudo que você precisa para não precisar sair do hotel. Os quartos atendem bem com espaço e tudo que precisa mas sem luxo, são quartos básicos. O café da manhã é bom, com variedade e mesmo estando muito cheio tem espaço e não fica desorganizado. O parque aquático é o máximo, as crianças e os adultos aproveintam muito.

Ao fazer check in fui tirar dúvidas e me responderam que tudo estava escrito atras do mapa. Hoje quando fui no parque aquático me falaram que tinha que ter uma pulseira, que não me deram. Então não pude ir no parque o qual tinha direito, quando fui reclamar falaram que não poderia usufruir do parque aquático hoje pois era o dia do checkout ( mesmo eu dizendo que entregaria as pulseiras do quarto, e que tinha programado ficar no parque até a hora do meu voo). Meu banheiro toda vez que alguém tomava banho alagava, liguei as 18h do dia 17/1 e repeti a ligação dia 18/1 informando que seria o segundo contato e até hoje 19/1 na hora do banho precisei enxugar a água do banheiro para que as crianças não caissem. O ar Condicionado do quarto pingou nos tênis, molhando os. Informei isso na recepção e ignoraram, não me deram nenhum retorno.num resort aonde se hospedam crianças não há suco de laranja nem uva naturais, nem pagando. Para quem está acostumado a pagar por boa qualidade de infra estrutura e não recomendo! Muito descaso e falta de respeito.

Bom resort. Mas podem melhorar

Resort precisa de reformas.
O hotel é grande tem uma área verde maravilhosa, as piscinas e o acesso ao blue park é ótimo. Café da manhã farto. Atendimento bom. Apenas ressalva a manutenção dos quartos. O nosso estava com o box vazando e a pia parcialmente entupida. Reclamamos do box e logo consertaram. Agora parabéns ao chuveiro, muito bom com bom jato sem ficar espalhado. Quarto sem amenidades. No geral boa estada. Ter o shopping Catuaí bem em frente facilita muito.

Sus estrellas no condicen a su estado actual

Llegado al hotel, no había nadie que te pueda guiar como enchufar el auto eléctrico, la conexión en malísimas condiciones.

La habitación con armario roto, viejo. El baño sin los kits personales básicos que cualquier hotel de menos categoría te lo ponen. Sus estrellas no condicen con el estado actual. Un hotel que quedo en el pasado. Es una pena!

Hotel bom mas preços fora da entrega de valor

É um lugar bom, mas o custo benefício é baixo, tendo em vista que as ofertas de almoço, jantar e bebidas durante o dias tem preços exorbitantes pela
Qualidade que oferecem.
Em geral o hotel é bom, a toa que cuida da entrada do café da manhã é bem antipática e vi muita gente tendo enrosco com ela, eu mesmo não quis que eu entrasse no restaurante 1 por teimosia me mandou pro 2 que julguei ser mais lento atendimento.
Enfim, instalações ok mas valor acima do que oferece!

Distintas observaciones:
- Nunca me limpiaron la habitacion. La unica vez que lo hicieron, es porque lo solicite,
- Nunca me anduvo la pulsera. Todos los dias la tenia que habilitar, encima me daba cuenta cuando ya estaba instalado en la pileta o lejos de la recepcion, por lo cual la logistica se complicaba.
Bueno, no fue buena la experiencia en realidad.

No geral a estadia foi boa, mas tivemos alguns problemas. Ter apenas uma mesa de cabeceira central no quarto para um casal com uma criança torna desconfortável o acesso aos objetos pessoais. Tivemos 2 problemas no banheiro. Descarga do vaso sanitário não funcionou e box do chuveiro inundou, ambos foram solucionados durante a estadia, mas foi um incômodo.

Quarto com box do chuveiro vazando água para o banheiro, cofre travado e o quarto não estava bem limpo. Muitos funcionários tentando vender frações do resort nos corredores e áreas comuns do hotel, insuportáveis. Alimentação extremamente cara, uma caipirinha por 37 reais e 90% de gelo. No check out nos liberaram para usar o Blue Park no restante do dia mas não nos avisaram que não poderíamos consumir dentro do parque. Estávamos com uma criança de 3 anos e nem água pudemos comprar pois não nos deram uma pulseira e não aceitavam outro tipo de pagamento. A informação dada foi de que teríamos que sair do parque e efetuar nova entrada (mas já estava inclusa no resort)
