On the positive side, great staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed, safe parking. Unfortunately, some cockroaches in the bathroom, and the bedroom is really tiny. Some good restaurants in proximity, but city center is a 15-20 minutes' walk away. Still a reasonable option for one or two nights.

Simple but Nice

For a place to stay, this was fine. It is not fancy and the accomodations are very basic. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The woman who works for the tour company located in the lobby area is a bit pushy and does not really listen to what you are looking for so I would make your own arrangements. The pool area and outdoor seating area is quaint; the gentleman cooking there is nice but the food is only okay.

Simple rooms, but impeccably clean. Desk staff were wonderfully helpful and spoke good English. They can provide transportation to and from the various attractions. Breakfast had a nice selection and the attached Italian restaurant was yummy.

Good Budget Hotel with Great Staff

The best part of this Pousada is the staff and breakfast. The staff all spoke brilliant English which was really helpful for us. They also have a tour deal to help with any excursions you would like to do.
The breakfast was great with a large variety of bread, cakes, cold meat, cheeses and fruit. The location was really good as it was only a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop which takes you to the Airport and Iguazu Falls (Brazil side) in one direction and the main bus station in the other direction, just catch bus 120.
Our room was ok but could do with some renovation. The aircom made such a notice that it was u usable. The door between the bedroom and bathroom had come of its bottom roller and despite having a massive TV there was barely Andy reception on it so it was pretty much useless. These were only minor issues which I am sure the hotel will sort out in due course and I would still recommend it as a good budget option.

This is a good hotel for our purpose; to go the the falls. We got a taxi from the airport but it's not necessary. The 120 bus picks up and drops near the hotel which is called CHARM hotel, Pousada Caroline is in small writing. We got the bus back for $R3.20 each, taxi there $R42.
The room is plenty big enough, as is the bathroom. There's no where to hang out washed 'smells' though although they do have a laundry. This is so expensive; don't use.
Breakfast - ok buffet as expected.
Swimming pool - dirty and couldn't swim in. The area around the pool is ok though so sunbathing is possible and there's a small pool table too.
There's a little cafe type restaurant attached which looks ok and we had beer there. We used another over the road which was very good.
It's easy to walk into the town from here too and not far.

Cheap and Cheerful hotel :Allison is a gem

The Hotel is a cheap and cheerful place in which the rooms are very clean. The set up is a bit noisy and breakfast was entirely adequate . It was a good place for a base to go and see Iguacu Falls, and the Charm Buffet food was honest and tasty and very reasonable. the kitchen staff were very helpful. But the star goes to Allison who is the tour organiser and master fixer in residence for whom nothing was too much trouble. His performance rated 5 stars and he made the holiday so much more enjoyable with his kind courteous and prompt efficiency.

Cafw da maha muito bom, uma observacao negativa é para uma das garotas que estavam repondo os alimentos, wm algumas vezes ela parava na frente do esplho e ficava cutucando as espinhas do rosto e em seguida pegava os pratos para secar, achei anti-higienico.
As mocas da limpeza sao uns amores, muito queridas e atenciosas.

Minha estadia foi razoável, a pousada é num lugar calmo, bom atendimento a senhora que cuida do café da manhã bem atenciosa, lugar limpo, café da manhã bom, a única coisa que não gostei e bem mais importante foi o quarto, era minúsculo, cama não era boa os travesseiros muito ruim. O banheiro mal cabia uma pessoa.

Foi decepcionante. Reservamos um local e fomos encaminhados para outro. No novo local não havia local para estacionar, ar condicionado barulhento, chuveiro sem água suficiente, caso sanitário solto, roupa de cama suja, sem acessibilidade. Por fim, sinto que fui enganado, paguei por um serviço e recebi por outro.

Barulhento e apertado. Ruim.

Quarto não condiz em nada com as fotos. Muito apertado, com muito barulho à noite. O projeto do hotel parece não ter qualquer cuidado acústico, pois ouve-se ruídos vindos do corredor e o barulho do ar condicionado do quarto ao lado (!!!). A Pâmela front-desk foi muito atenciosa em ouvir nossas reclamações, mas obviamente não conseguia resolver o problema. Tivemos uma péssima noite de sono. O café da manhã é ok mas mais uma vez o trabalho da copa acontece em pleno buffet e o barulho de louças batendo é enorme, impossível ficar no salão.

Passei uma noite, mas assim que cheguei percebi apenas um funcionário no atendimento da recepção , o qual estava sobrecarregado. Assim como a funcionária da recepção da pousada localizada na mesma rua na qual deixei meu carro estacionado . No dia seguinte mais uma vez um um único funcionário na recepção para atender os hóspedes que chegavam, os que saiam, os que tinham indagações, o telefone, etc. Porém apesar disso todos muito educados e prestativos. Mas um funcionário a mais séria muito bem vindo para melhorar o atendimento e não sobrecarregar os que lá estão.

Muito bom

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Possui uma especie de agência de viagens que faz os principais passeios, inclusive para o Paraguai. O único problema, é que o quarto em que ficamos era muito barulhento. As pessoas que trabalham na cozinha começam cedo, e o barulho começava. Mas nada que atrapalhasse a estadia. O funcionario Lucas foi um espetaculo, sempre dando as informações necessarias.

Fomos passar o feriado em Foz e escolhemos este hotel. Foi muito bom, bom atendimento, bom café da manhã, bom quarto. Ficamos num anexo do hotel, mas isso não fez diferença na qualidade. A relação custo beneficio é muito boa. Se voltar para Foz vou ficar lá novamente.

A reserva na Pousada Caroline foi confirmada, mas no checkin fomos remanejados para uma acomodação anexa, no lado oposto da rua. O quarto é bastante simples. Muitos insetos. Café da manhã bom.

A pousada é muito boa, o atendimento é nível 5 estrelas, possui uma agencia de viagem no local que facilita muito para quem quer conhecer a cidade e suas atrações e cobram um valor muito acessível. A pousada ainda dá de cortesia o traslado de chegada do aeroporto até a pousada. Desta vez fiquei no quarto 22. Vista muito boa.

Excelente; ops atenção ao quarto

Então; optei por ficar no quarto mais barato (40 42 e 44) eles são perto dda cozinha então existe certo barulho. Nada
que incomode muito.
A unica reclamação é que a que a limpeza de quarto bate na sua porta as 10 da manha (mas convenhamos não vamos a foz para dormire); Hotel/pousada muito agradavel; principalmente numa cidade em que exercemos atividades fisicas desde a alvorada. Então chegar e descansar na piscina é muito prazeroso. Internet execente e hospitalidade acima da media. Ah o restaurante ao lado .... sem comentarios exceto pela carta de vinhos um pouco restrita, cozinha italiana nota 10 mesmo. E tem tudo a mão. com honestidade. Se não fosse pelo chuveiro e a camareira era nota 10; volto lá com certeza.

Einfaches Hostel etwas außerhalb von Foz do Iguazu. Zimmer ist ok, aber sehr einfach. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Touren zu den Wasserfällen können im Hostel gebucht werden. Bushaltestelle in 2 Minuten erreichbar.

Fiquei no quarto 18 com vista para a piscina e o sol da manhã. Quarto super limpo, atendimento excepcional, precisei de um adaptador de tomada e me emprestaram sem nenhum custo. É permitido fazer ligações do próprio quarto tanto para ligações locais, interurbanas e internacionais e a cobrança é feita no check out.

Hotel somente satisfatório. O quarto era virado para o corredor, portanto não se podia abrir janelas e cortinas (por isso tinha um cheiro forte). Quarto muito pequeno. Café da manhã bem normal (pães do dia anterior - não estavam frescos).

Bem localizada, ao lado da avenida das cataratas, de fácil deslocamento (eu estava de carro alugado).
Sobre a pousada, fiquei em um quarto que considero bom, com ar, frigobar, boa cama, etc. Pelo valor pago, valeu a pena. A piscina é pequena, mas nada que desmereça (não usei a mesma). A recepção é bem prestativa.
Se um dia voltar à Foz, considerarei usar novamente essa pousada.

C'est la deuxième fois cette année que je vais à foz de iguazu et donc la deuxième fois à la pousada Caroline et je suis toujours aussi bien accueilli , le rapport qualité prix imbattable , ils ont même rénové des parties de l'hôtel en l'espace de 6 mois . Seul bémol non amélioré la wifi : elle ne passe toujours pas dans les chambres.....cordialement

Super Service - tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Die Pousada Caroline ist uns durch ihren günstigen Preis bei guten Bewertungen aufgefallen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Wir haben als 5-köpfige Familie zwei, durch einen eigenen Flur verbundene, Zimmer erhalten. Die Räume waren groß genug und grundsätzlich sauber. Die Bettwäsche hatte in paar Flecken - aber das waren auch das einzig negative, das uns aufgefallen ist. Beide Zimmer hatten TV und Klimaanlage sowie WLAN-Empfang.

Das Personal ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sprachen sehr gutes Englisch und haben bei allen Fragen geholfen. Abends wurde uns ein gutes Restaurant empfohlen, das uns mit einem eigenen Bus abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht hat.

An einem eigenen Tisch können Ausflüge mit den hoteleigenen Minibussen gebucht werden. Extrem einfach und preislich angemessen. Alle Fahrer waren sehr nett und sprachen zumindest ein bisschen Englisch. Die Fahrer haben dann auch die Grenzformalitäten erledigt und uns gute Tipps gegeben.

Der Freizeitbereich besteht aus einem Billardtisch (kostenlos), drei kleinen Pools (einer davon beheizt), einer kleinen Küche, mehreren Grillmöglichkeiten und kleinen Tischen.

Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und von guter Qualität.
Insgesamt können wir das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen für Leute, die ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis suchen und nicht unbedingt alles auf eigene Faust organisieren wollen.
