room #12 was huge and had a very large bathroom area. The breakfast could have been a little more, at lease some toast and jelly. It was mainly just sweet pastries. This place is right in the middle of everything. You can almost walk to everything.

We were a bit worried because the photos online are not very detailed, and the first impression from the outside isn't the best, however when I checked in the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms have been partly updated and were very clean and roomy. Overall a great stay at a wonderful price! The continental breakfast was a nice surprise too. Awesome location across from great shopping and dining, and a short drive to the slopes.

Don’t judge a book… from the road this hotel looked run down but it was one of the best of our trip! The back entrance deck has a hot tub, plants, hummingbird feeders, comfortable couches, etc. the room was huge with a microwave and fridge. The continental breakfast had excellent coffee and fresh juice, yogurt and pastries that must have been from a local bakery… no Sara Lee here! The owner, Joe is a wonderful person. Would definitely stay again!

The AC was noisy, but eventually got the room cooled down. The breakfast is a grab and go cold bar -- but has some thoughtful options. It's over-priced for the age, condition, and features of the hotel.

When I booked it was supposed to be a condo and it turns out it was a motel, so you really need to watch Expedia they will trick you, who pays 280 Night for a motel!!! But the owner was very nice and it was clean. But there was no pool and the Jacuzzi was not working. That was very disappointing cause there nothing like chillin in the mountains in the pools and Jacuzzi in the evenings. I would really want some money back and I'm going to try n pursue that.

Great simple accommodation for a ski weekend
We stayed here for two nights while skiing with the family at Winter Park. It was perfect because the Lift bus stops right in front, there is parking, and the rooms are spacious. It's a low frill experience -- but very cozy and comfortable. There is a small hot tub, a continental breakfast, and comfortable beds and large rooms. The location is great -- only 5 mins from Winter Park.

We ended up having to sleep with the windows open, which meant a good deal of highway noise coming into the room. The continental breakfast was very minimal, so plan to eat elsewhere.

I liked that it was spacious. I didn't like the climb up the stairs, no elevator and the second handrail going up is loose in the middle of the staircase. We didn't eat breakfast because it didn't align with our time frames ( 7-9 ) we left before 6 or woke up after 9. The place was very clean and the sheets were comfy. Liked the plugs to charge devices. There's no phone in the room. And we couldn't get more towels / shampoo and conditioner ( shampoo and conditioner only one in room for 4 people) because no phone and no one at desk around 9 pm when we arrived back from the day. It was pretty quiet, but not sound proofed. We could hear people stomping and screaming from other rooms.- but the walls were not paper thin if that makes sense. All in all it was a good motel

From the time we arrived till we left it was great! The staff was very friendly and courteous! The entire inside was clean and had been updated. The breakfast was more than adequate. Our room was more than spacious for me and my son. It was quiet and we felt very safe. I’ve stayed in many different places in Winter Park, (3 just this winter) and this room was as good as any luxury 2br 2bth condo we’ve had! In addition we walked to dinner and drinks each night. Cooper Creek is across the street, the Ditch on 40 is 600’ away, and everything else in town is walking distance if you don’t want to drive. The heavy snow just made it fun for us! If you don’t want to walk the area free bus system will pick you up just a 150’ from the front. The only 4 star I gave is the mattress and pillows were not the best. (Just my opinion) Thanks to the staff for making our stay great!
