Room was clean. Oven handle was hanging off, I found the screw and screwed it back together without a screw driver. It needs to be tightened. Shower valve is wonky and hard to set to a comfortable temperature. I only tell you this so you know and can address for future renters.

It was okay

The advantage to Timber Run was the free transportation to/from the ski slopes. It has to be around 30+/- years old but maintenance is lacking in some areas. It had all the basics but there's no zip to it. Our parking lot had frozen ice everywhere, while the different name grouping next door had clean parking areas.

The condo was very dirty! They asked us to not wear shoes inside, and by the end of the day our feet were black!! The dishes weren't clean with stuck on food. And quickly figured out it was because of a poor quality dishwasher. It's definitely an older unit that hasn't had any upgrades.
The property was very nice. The pool and community grills were very nice and convenient location.

The property was very nice, clean and had a well stocked kitchen with everything that you’d need to cook if you so desired. The only thing that would be better would be larger, more comfortable chairs out on the patio.

Location was excellent. Unit has been updated and is beautiful. The shower in the master bathroom looks beautiful, but doesn’t have any water pressure. We used the hallway bathroom for showers.

Was perfect for our family to have a great ski weekend. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to make meals. Beds were comfortable. Ski shuttle was great and never had to wait long for them to pick up or take to the mountain.

Timber Run is a nice property!!! But.... be prepared to clean your unit AND pay a large fee for having it cleaned!!!! We were required to take out the trash, strip the sheets off of all the beds, and turn off lights, heat, etc, etc. Then it was $115 to have the condo cleaned after we left!!!!! I was unaware of this until we checked in. I personally feel this is their responsibility.
The condos are really nice and we enjoyed staying there, but we go to Steamboat every year and have NEVER had to Clean up before we leave and pay to have our condo cleaned!!!!!

The staff at Timber Run is excellent. Friendly and helpful. Everything you need is available. If you are there to ski it can’t be beat. The shuttle comes and goes at regular intervals so there is very little waiting. Condos are older but have everything you need. Three very clean and well maintained hot tubs are perfect after skiing. If you need luxury, this might not suit you. But if you want good value and a nice location, Timber Run is excellent.

Great trip. Timber Run is weak on service and the condo was run down and not fully equipped. No housekeeping service, no vacuum or brooms, mops etc. It got a little difficult after a week with 4 adults and 3 kids.

Nice little condo

It’s a home away from home with full kitchen, living room, and one of the comfiest king sized beds you can imagine. Would stay here again if we came back in winter, will stay closer to downtown if we come back in summer. Make sure you read all the rules about late check in, we got locked out on the second day when our card was deactivated. The Strongarm security guard Justin was great and even gave some food recommendations when he came to let us in.

Great location!

This was a nice stay at a terrific location for skiing! We stayed for 3 nights at the end of March. The resort shuttle ran consistently throughout the day and we never waited more than a few minutes at the hotel or the gondola base for a ride. The 3-bedroom condo we were in had plenty of space for our family of 7. The resort has a medium size pool and 3 smallish hot tubs, but we never had trouble finding space in the hot tub. Our condo was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. There were a few electrical issues (one outlet/power strip didn't work so we couldn't use the TV in the master bedroom and one of the overhead dining room lights didn't work), but nothing major. We definitely recommend this resort!

Convenient free shuttles to the ski area. The furniture was very comfortable and the place was spotlessly clean. Might have been nice to have housekeeping come in midweek to take the trash and used towels out. Decor was a little dated but overall I would stay there again and would recommend to others.

expensive for what you get!

the condo is old and dated inside and out. if we did not pay so much, I would not be writing a review. but you DO NOT get what you pay for. We had requested clean sheets because one of our kids ended up with the stomach bug, we had to call and request multiple times and then they just folded up the puked sheets and left on floor. after more calls, they finally gave new sheets. there are lots of places in Steamboat. keep looking

Ok hotel but worn down

The Condo need works as the Cabinets are worn down and terrible shape. Rooms are really small. It is ok but need better maintenance and updates for this unit. Management should check out the facilities as whether improvements needed to be updated.

The overall condition of the condo was disappointing - the couch had a tear in the arm, carpet was dirty, the plastic cover of the electrical outlet in main bathroom was broken, outdoor mats in the bathrooms.

Decent value for the price

Timber Run is an ok condo complex for the price. Condos are dated. Looks like 70's. But other than that it was well maintained and had nice beds. The shuttle to the mountain was a nice amenity. Pool and hot tubs were also nice.

Nice condo's but Spring Break crowd a problem

The condo experience would have been fine except for the groups of college kids staying at discounted rates in the condo's. Lots of noise problems, police called, ect. Were are a family with young kids so we were really disappointed that we could not use the pool or hottubs in the evening due to the drinking, smoking, and profanity. Staff really needed to get it under control after several complaints.

The Timber Run condo complex is a very nice and reasonable priced vacation rental. it is also conveniently located in proximity to the ski resort and downtown. The management and customer service specialists were also very welcoming and helpful.

Terrific time at Timber Run

Arrived for a short Presidents Day weekend trip. Check in was great. Ryan was very helpful and nice. Condo was very cozy and convenient to slopes. Just a five minute shuttle ride from Gondola. It is a bit dated but was perfectly fine for our family. No complaints at all and would definitely return to Timber Run!

Decent place but bad beds in condo 419

I thought overall is was a decent stay- the hot tubs, heated pool and shuttle were nice but the beds in room 419 are horrible and overall is a bit outdated. It did function for our use and the price was more reasonable than many of the other choices in Steamboat. I would stay there again if I had a condo with better beds. Kid friendly.

Very good. I would go back. A few things in condo needed attention but sometimes people don't tell condos it needs fixed,so we did. It was clean and we had fun in the hot tub and playing ping pong. Good shuttle service and we were at the lifts in 10 minutes.
