Located at the base of Winter Park Resort, the Zephyr Mountain Lodge offers premier slope side ski-in/ski-out lodging with an unparalleled location just 110 feet from the Zephyr Express Lift. After a fun-filled day exploring the Colorado Mountains, enjoy the lodge atmosphere, relax by the glow of your gas fireplace or warm up in one of our four outdoor hot tubs.
The Zephyr's location at the base is not only ideal for skiing and riding, but also for enjoying the Village at Winter Park. Several restaurants, retail shops, and additional activities are featured within steps of these condominiums.

Check in was the worst experience, you have to download and app, yet you still need interaction with the front desk. Staff are great, super helpful but the check in is a nightmare. The building is a bit tired and worn, it all works and the location is great. Nothing in Winter Park base station you have to drive into Winter Park town for any half decent restaurants.

Fireplace seem to turn on with the red button underneath, but there does not seem to be a thermostat for regulation. it would only seem to work if you kept the bottom louver vent open.
The "smart" TV would not connect to any Apps or even receive a HDMI feed from a Computer for either HDMI 1 or 2. Also it did not receive all the cable channels that the TV in the bedroom received.
Garbage Disposal seems to be dull or just needing an update.
The dish washers "Main Wash" compartment will not open to dispense the detergent because the lower dish rack interferes with it.

Great little getaway while my husband was on a business trip. Easy access to parking and ski village amenities. Fireplace was shut off for the summer, but I could have requested it be turned on. The room was very comfortable, though the bedroom door and armoire door could hit each other. Only thing that needed work was the toilet that was very loud when it flushed and took a bit to stop running. But I'd still recommend it.

Property location is great with shops, restaurants, and Starbucks on the premises. Underground parking is very convenient. The property was clean and generally comfortable. The bedroom is extremely small, and the bathroom has no storage or place to put toiletries. The bedroom was too warm at night, although the day was cool, and the bedroom windows are not operable. Price was appropriate for the accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was good except the bed. There was a thick, too soft pad on it. The bed therefore was way too soft. Worst of all, the fitted sheet kept coming off, making things very uncomfortable.

What a great place to stay!! Beautiful area and the rooms are condos, so it was like being in a home away from home. The people are super nice as well. And it’s right at Winter Park base so the area is gorgeous! One important thing to keep in mind is that due to the average highs in the lower 70s and low humidity, the units don’t have AC, so if it’s going to be unseasonably warm, that could be an issue for some.

Honestly, this could’ve been a five star experience had the beds not been so incredibly uncomfortable for everyone in our party in three different rooms. We loved the walkability to the ski lift and the amenities and restaurants nearby. However, I would not stay here again because that’s how incredibly bad the beds were. Has five grown adults in their early 30s we all complained about the beds for a week after. The units were family, friendly with a full kitchen, but would probably stay here again with the bed situation for one night at a time.

Location was great. Outside access to hot tub. But, tub was closed for “maintenance” and was not made aware before booking or at the front desk. Desk agent seemed annoyed that I chose to check in, “in person” instead of through an app and texting a robot. The sink was sort of broken and you had to manually open and close the stopper from under the bowl. There was dried blood visible on the down comforter (under sheets, but visibly gross), trash left in the room and didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. Also, no ventilation in the bathroom and obviously dirty light switches. Kinda gross but an overall cute place. I do not fault the owners and also know that housekeeping is likely stretched with lack of employees. Otherwise parking was a breeze and it was close to the room. Only real value was the location. 10/10 for walking to the lift and a Starbucks right outside the door. Otherwise 2/10 for cleanliness and no hot tubbing.

The property did an excellent job communicating about parking and the check-in process. It’s location is amazing being a 2-minute walk from the gondola. However, I would not recommend staying here because the rooms haven’t been updated. The bathtub barely drained, the toilet barely flushed, the blinds kept coming apart, and the walls are paper thin. The prices they’re charging for this place are not worth it at all. You’d be better off trying another property even if it’s farther away.

Great location, can’t beat it for access to the ski lifts. The building itself is a little tired and could do with an internal refresh. Our particular apartment was clean, the bed was good, the kitchen was good but the two couches and chair in the lounge were old, springs had gone and pretty much unusable. This was disappointing.

This property is fantastic and right at the base of the mountain. Each unit is individually owned, but is serviced by the lodge. The pillows are so full and wide that they are completely unbearable to sleep on. Every room has the same pillows. Our unit had a double bed, and it was very uncomfortable and small. I paid for an upgraded unit. It would have been nice to know ahead of time the bed situation and that they upgrade was for nothing!

So hot in the room. No A/C is fine if the windows open. They did not. The person before us apparently didn’t know how to use baseboards and had the heat on. We fixed that. The box fan didn’t work BUT the front desk was amazing and brought us a brand new one. For the brand Hurricane is was not very powerful though. The bike cage was safe! Loved that offering.

We’ve been skiing at WP for years, but this was our first summertime stay at the resort. The Zephyr location is great with walk-out-your-door access to numerous restaurant and shopping options along with easy access to hiking, biking, mini-golf, etc. Our unit was nicely decorated and very comfortable.

Proximity to the slopes was the reason we booked at this property. In that respect it was great. For some reason the apartment was LUDICROUSLY hot. I don’t know if it was the pilot light in the fireplace? We had the windows all open and it was @ 38 degrees outside- but we couldn’t not get the temperature down - the thermostat was set very low- so we couldn’t figure a way to fix it. The front desk offered to send maintenance - but confirmed that all that could really be done is open the windows.

Communication was excellent. Hot tub was super dirty on our first day. They did clean the water and surrounding areas the second day. One of the hot tub was not working. The beds in the apartment were very uncomfortable. The king bed and also sofa bed. We could not sleep for two nights with so much body pain. Other than that the place was ok and location is great.

So convenient to the slopes and excellent hot tub and ski lockers. Kitchen had all the essentials and the one BR condo had plenty of room to spread out. Fireplace added a cozy atmosphere. Outdoor balcony is a nice touch also.

This hotel cancel my reservation for no reason couple of days from my arrival, then the customer service at Expedia wanted to offer a cheaper option hotel, when I told them about the price difference, all of a sudden they could not find any hotels close by, I had to request a refund and I had to rebook it my self, luckily I had no problem find a very close by hotel.

The spacious 2 floors have 1,825 square feet of living space. The great room occupies most of the top floor of this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom unit.
The entryway is slate-tiled and leads to a carpeted dining and living area with gas fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD player and a Bose sound system. Access to the covered upper deck is from the living space and comes with a gas BBQ grill.
